Doesn't always have to be opposites attract. Want me some double menaces! 😈😈😈
I want to a read a fic about clones meeting S/Os with the same energy. Like:
Fives meeting a fem version of himself is absolute chaos. Imagine the headache Rex is gonna get (ooh, I sent someone an ask on this). Fives probably fist bumping his girlfriend for setting the world on fire... Twice.
Wolffe meeting a big-hearted, stern, no-nonsense alpha bitch, yass please. Everything is probably so damn organized and they'd be so baby girls about it when they do discreet touching while at work like teeheeee ♥ but not here bby girl xD
Fox meeting an equally overworked, would die for you but not today because I have work, baby girl? Them having stale coffee mugs everywhere and having cute, fun banter on whose bags are deeper and act all sus over eyebag masks because they sure as hell know not enough eyebag masks out there is gonna work.
Y'all know them clone boys better than me.
HC's anyone? Wanna hear your thoughts/thots
NPT on clone experts ♥ @freesia-writes @vodika-vibes @mandos-mind-trick @starrrgazingbunny @kimiheartblade @sev-on-kamino @arcsimper5 @cloneloverrrrr @wolffegirlsunite @dystopicjumpsuit @starrylothcat and other writers because I'm bad with handles ;---;

Here's two more scenes from the Rex Raises Luke AU... Enjoy!!
Previous - Next
Scene #6
“Take him,” Kenobi said.
The words halted Rex’s train of thought and he whipped his head away from the desert sun, to the kneeling man. “What?”
“Take Luke.” Kenobi looked up, his hood nearly falling away. “Raise him, keep him safe.”
“You want me to do that? Are you kidding?”
“I can’t keep him,” the Jedi replied.
“I can’t raise an ad, General.” Rex shook his head, hands shaking. “I’m a weapon, a war machine, I have no experience taking care of a small child…”
“You can,” Kenobi argued.
“No, I don’t have any experience, sir,” Rex said.
“But you don’t need experience.”
Rex scoffed and glared, “But you already have experience, General! You practically raised General Skywalker!”
The Jedi Master broke at those words, falling to pieces at Rex’s feet and shattering. His gaze fell to the sands of Tatooine and his eyes lost their light, his mind drifted away from the conversation. Then his shoulders slumped and his spirit crumbled to ash.
A decaying man kneeled before Rex, broken to his core and with his creed gone.
“Anakin is gone,” Kenobi said, “I… I can’t lose another, it’s all my fault.”
“General,” Rex sighed, beginning to speak.
But Kenobi cut him off, “No, Rex.”
Something broke in Rex’s heart as he looked at him, and then he sighed. His gaze drifted past the man to the ship that stood against the winds and beaming sun. He could imagine the baby sleeping away, safe and sound in the metal walls.
“I can’t do this, I can’t raise Luke,” Kenobi said.
“Alright,” Rex replied.
“You’ll take him?”
Rex nodded, his heart deciding for him. “I will.”
Scene #7
It flicked at the back of his head.
Rex grunted and swatted it, before turning back to the conversation before him.
It whacked the back of his head, sending his eyes flying open and body jolting upward. Darkness wrapped around him as he began to breathe heavily, his eyes searching the room around him. He counted the stacks of cargo boxes, the light flickering in through the doorway, and the steel walls that encased him. Then he sighed and fell backward on his bed, blinking up at his ceiling.
It was just a dream.
Then his pillow disappeared from beneath his head, yanked off the bed and thrown to the floor. It was followed by a cry moments later, it pierced through his open door and shot into him.
His feet flew over the metal floor and into the hallway. Seconds later he slid into the secondary storage room, Obi-Wan’s old room, and came to a halt.
“Lu’ika,” Rex whispered and peered over the small bin.
Luke’s cheeks were bright red and his eyes closed shut tight as he kicked at his blankets. His hands had come free of the swaddle and were swinging in front of him, breath hiccuping between cries.
“Ner ik’aad…” Rex picked him up, sliding a hand underneath his head before adjusting him in his grip. “What’s wrong?”
In his head, he began to go over the checklist that he had created for moments like this: food, too warm, too cold, diaper change, sickness, and so on. Yet, the words slowly trailed out of his mind as Luke’s eyes opened and he looked up at him, cries slowly fading away as he hiccuped again and then swatted with a free hand. His little hand curled against Rex’s black and clung tight.
“Oh, Lu’ika,” Rex sighed, “That was one way to get me.”
Luke hiccuped and turned his head, eyes sliding closed and hand stuck to his shirt.
Moments later, Rex found himself back in his little storage-bedroom. He settled down onto his back and raised his hands to cup the baby resting over his chest, chuckling as soft breaths filled the air. It only took moments for him to fall back to sleep, but he did so with his hand resting over Luke’s shoulders and a small smile on his face.

32 days.
that’s how long crosshair spent on that platform back on kamino.
i feel like this is a really dark part of the show that’s been overlooked. nearly a month by yourself, on a tiny floating platform surrounded by water. no food, no drinkable water, and no way to communicate with other people. it’s enough to drive anyone crazy. did crosshair ever started regretting his decision to stay behind? he had no way of knowing if he would ever be rescued. after weeks of slowly starving and dying from dehydration, did he start wishing that his brothers would come back? or did he feel so betrayed that he would literally rather die than go back to them again?
i can’t decide which one is worse tbh

Excuse me while I just GUSH about the clones here and speak about The Bad Batch as well-
Gonna be taking from a convo with a friend on discord- about this current season of TBB, so apologies for the formatting here and missing context here. '^_^>
The episodes of the TBB I tend to like have been the Crosshair ones- and the ones with Coruscant where Chuchi is speaking about clone rights… because I LOVE WHEN THEY BRING UP RIGHTS FOR THE CLONES- ya have no idea how much I love when they acknowledge how fucked up the clone’s situation was as a RACE OF SENTIENT ORGANISMS being GROWN and then sold to die in a war they didn’t really understand, but came to understand, came to form THEIR OWN REASONS to fight, to BELIEVE in the republic, to TRUST the Jedi- to have FAITH that there would be an end to the war, that maybe the clones could be seen as something more than just a number after the war was over- the Jedi saw them as people, some senators did too- many people did- so there was hope for them…
Then, they are told to kill those they cared for or respected, FORCED to gun them down- all the while AWARE of what they were doing, but unable to stop their actions- fully aware that they were killing a friend, a lover, a brother, a sister, a father figure, a mother figure, family- and then to hurt those they were meant to protect, those that their brothers DIED to protect, to liberate, to save, to help bring a smile too- only for them to come back and hurt them, kill them, to spit in the face of ALL OF THEIR SACRIFICES- all of that fighting, all of it meant NOTHING, the very institutions they were CREATED AND TAUGHT TO DEFEND were dead, the Republic that they and their brothers DIED to protect, was already lost regardless of what they had sacrificed.
And then- then after those years of FORCED servitude, years of loyally following many orders, of PROTECTING those in power and unknowingly enriching/empowering the ones who would betray them- they are to be discarded without a care in the world, forgotten- used like a plastic utensil, never understood by the galaxy that they were the biggest victims of them all- USED to carry out and facilitate all that would come after them- child soldiers (they would be like 9-13 at that time and the whole acceleration of their aging is just- it’s just soo it breaks my heart ok?) with essentially no family left for many of them, They became children of a republic that no longer existed.
I love the clones- I love their story, the sacrifices they made, the choices they never got to make, the losses they suffered, the hope they gained, the individuality that prevailed throughout them, the drive to DO WHAT THEY FELT WAS RIGHT, and all of it, all of it is why I love the clones- especially after EVERYTHING came crashing down on them, and yet not all of them simply gave in, they persisted to the very end. It’s tragic and yet- just soooo godamn good T-T
Some of this may be very jumbled together- again- I got this from a discord convo I had with a friend where I JUST WENT ON A MASSIVE TANGENT about the clones, so I either left stuff out or reallly simplified things and ima leave it like that here. XD
