I think its very funny how I never really understood why neurodivergent characters in movies and TV shows that had mental health issues and such were always so resistant to get treatment, as in going to a neuro, a psychiatrist or a psychologist - until I became the neurodivergent person with mental illness and had to see neuros, psychiatrists, and psychologists. All of a sudden Season 1 Ep 1 Will Graham made so much sense to me. Like, actually, these damn doctors fumbling around in my head without ever really fucking understanding me fucking suck, and I'd dearly like to never see one again. If I do that I'll die tho
