REPORT: UNITED STATES OCCUPATION CONTINUES SUCKING WEALTH OUT OF EASTERN SYRIA
The official Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) is reporting that the American military occupation in eastern Syria continues to suck wealth and resources from the West Asian nation.
According to SANA News, the US occupation is stealing wealth from the areas it continues to illegally occupy in the Hasakah province of eastern Syria, using its forces to load tankers and trucks with Syrian resources including oil and grains.
Local sources in the Al-Yaarubiya countryside, near the Iraqi border, in the Al-Hasakah Governate, told SANA that a US-occupation convoy consisting of 69 vehicles, including 45 tankers loaded with Syrian oil, along with 24 trucks loaded with grains stolen from silos in the Hasakah province, left Syrian territory through the illegal Mahmoudiyah crossing headed for US bases in Iraqi territory.
The report was published by journalist Nisreen Othman on April 22nd, 2024.

In 2015, Russia officially entered Syria an ally of Assad in order to kill Syrians and commit the most heinous massacres, such as bombing markets, hospitals, residential neighborhoods, city centers, and health centers. Until now, Russia and the Assad regime and its ally, Iran, are killing civilians in a semi-formal manner. daily. They committed thousands of massacres against the Syrians in many areas in Syria. As for the United States, unfortunately, it did not have a word in order to stop the criminals from killing the Syrians. The United States policy was weak in Syria and did not properly care about the civilians being killed by the Assad regime and Russia. In 2020, the Assad regime, Russia and Iran expelled me from my city of Maarat al-Numan and occupied it. They destroyed my memories, took my house and my father's shop, and stole everything we owned. Because of these criminals (the Assad regime, Russia and Iran), I became an internally displaced person without anything. I lost my memories, my city, my home, and literally everything.
To all foreign journalists interested in the Syrian issue, please be honest and forthright in everything you write about Syria. Don't forget the Syrian Revolution. Do not write “civil war.” It is not a Syrian civil war, it is a Syrian popular revolution that arose for the sake of demanding freedom and democracy. Please follow those who live on the ground (inside Syria) and take the news from them, do not trust any other source. Those who live inside Syria know all the truth and everything that is happening. Do not forget the detainees in the prisons of the Assad regime, who are subjected daily to the worst forms of torture. Research the Caesar Files [in August 2013, a military defector code-named Caesar smuggled 53,275 photographs out of Syria showing at least 6,786 detainees who died in detention or after being transferred from detention to a military hospital.] And also follow the organization I work with, Syrian Emergency Task Force, in order to know a lot of things about Syria.

I was thinking about that time when Taylor Swift admitted that her fans would do literally anything for her, on the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.
It really got me thinking: she has millions of followers who WORSHIP her and do anything that she wants.
Imagine the impact that she could have over any situation that requires donations or votes:
(I’m using Gaza as an example here, but I could also talk about Congo, Ukraine, Syria, child labour, charity events, Literally the ELECTIONS.)
If she took a position and made a point, talking to her followers about what’s happening, raising donations, donating herself, she could ACTUALLY make a difference, she could do way more with one single tiktok, than the other hundreds I’ve seen just today.
And this does not apply to Taylor Swift only, but also any other celebrity: Kylie Jenner, Kim Kardashian, Chris Hemsworth, Timothee Chalamet, Rhianna, and so and so.
They actually could do SO MUCH to help make the world a better place: they have the influence and the money, that is all that’s needed.
So I really don’t get it. Why? Why did we put these people on pedestals? Why did we give them that much power, if they’re not gonna help us back?
In conclusion: I’m really happy about the “Let’s unfollow all celebrities” movement that’s started now, because really, do they deserve all those money that WE gave them?

Türkiye has resumed bombing Rojava.
This bombing takes place as a retaliation for the failure of Turkey's operations on the Iraqi-Syrian border along with the killing of 12 soldiers by the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK).
