Remember, we aren’t just freeing Palestine, we’re freeing:
CONGO 🇨🇩
SUDAN🇸🇩
YEMEN🇾🇪
SYRIA🇸🇾
HAITI🇭🇹
PUERTO RICO🇵🇷
UKRAINE🇺🇦
TIGRAY
KASHMIR 🍁
and HAWAI’I
I’ve been gathering resources for all these countries listed on Twitter, and I will do the same here. I will update this post with more information I find — i encourage everyone to do the same.
The duty of youth is to challenge corruption. Don’t give up, keep on fighting.
November’s here! Just here to say once again, don’t stop talking about Palestine! Never stop till Palestine is free! That a ceasefire comes! That Gaza gets all the humanitarian aid it deserves! Be thankful that some of us are able to live comfortably while thousands are facing death and destruction! Not just in Palestine, but in other places too! Congo faces devastation from armed militias looking to do coltan mining for one example! Armenians are being pushed out by Azerbaijan with the support of Turkey! Please, let’s speak for all of them, as much as we can!
I recently reblogged a post stating frustration over how it seems situations like these seem to turn into fads to say without doing anything. I can go on and on about how sorry I am but that will not do anything productive unless I go out there and actually push for things myself!
So much is happening in the world! So many people are dying voiceless when there are people who can help! Who should help!
Let’s be their voices! Let their stories be heard! We have resources that they may not have right now! Utilize them!
Free Palestine! Stop the violence in Congo! Protect the Armenians!
Today when I was sitting in the cafe next to me a kid started jumping. It's a common situation, maybe a little annoying. But I started to choke. I had to grab onto my sweatshirt because I thought I was going to suffocate. Because the noise was remotely reminiscent of rockets exploding.
When I was 7 I thought "Why me?". "Why did I have to go through this, why did I have to leave home and live in fear, why was I deprived of everything just for being who I am?". Now I'm 17 and I'm thinking, "Why us? What did we all do to deserve this?" And the answer is always the same, always painfully direct and heartbreaking. Nothing. None of us did anything to deserve it. No one deserves it, no one should wake up to the sound of explosions and lie there thinking that if that missile hits your house, at least you'll be free from this hell. And no one deserves to go through that because they were just born. That they're just who they are, and they're proud of it.
To realise that this is now happening in more than one or two countries, and to more than one nationality is even worse. That people cannot understand and accept that EVERY nationality has the right to exist, to be in its own land with its own rights.
I know that on this account I don't repost a lot of stuff about Gaza, Ukraine or other countries. This is because most of the time I am in a state of detachment from reality, and it can be too painful to go back. But that doesn't mean I don't care. I try to do what I can, and I beg you to do the same if possible. Just a couple of reposts can already mean a lot, a little money can save someone's life, not supporting Russian authors and brands supporting Israel can lessen the pain just a little. But it will mean the world to those who are now struggling for their existence.
Please add onto this, so many places in the world are not free I don't think I could fit them all in one post. Make people aware of what's going on.
(all of these are countries I've seen other people say aren't free, I did a bit a research into each one, please look more into them yourself, and if there is any reason one of these shouldn't be on here let me know and I'll look into it.)
I’m so tired of Ukrainians just being treated like numbers. Can we stop comparing the Russia-Ukraine conflict to the Israel-Palestine one please. I very much understand that the situation in Palestine is much worse, but so many people see this as an excuse to completely dismiss Ukraine. “Oh, less people are dying, less homes, hospitals and schools and being destroyed. It doesn’t matter, the numbers are so much lower.” Is that all they are to you?? Numbers?? Not real, human lives???
Russia still detains 204 Ukrainians (123 of them are Crimean Tatars), 150 are imprisoned.
one of them being Leniye Umerova, 25-year-old Crimean Tatar who was going to visit her cancer-stricken father in Crimea and is illegally detained by Russians in a pre-trial detention center
Don’t you ever forget about Ukraine. And Sudan. And Yemen. And don’t you dare forget about Palestine. The other genocides and unfair “wars” that the internet has kept tucked under the sheets, don’t go silent. Don’t mute and muffle the violence. Use your voice for the voices that have fallen because it’s not over yet. Don’t give up and don’t draw back.
Yesterday marked the 2nd anniversary of the Russia-Ukraine war. Since the invasion, more than 10,000 Ukrainian civilians have lost their lives, nearly 20,000 have been wounded, and over six million have been forced to flee the country.
Be sure to click here to read the article by Anadolu Agency, which spotlights pivotal incidents of the conflict.
In light of the recent news, I thought that's what I should do
