Now that the truce has ended, don’t call for a 'permanent ceasefire', call for the end of the occupation. As long as Palestine is occupied, Palestinians will never know peace. Even if the Israeli army left Gaza in this very moment, Palestinians will still face brutal suppression at the hands of the Israeli state. Apartheid laws will still remain. Palestinian children will continue to get kidnapped and tortured in prisons. Armed Israeli settlers will continue to act as shook troops in the Occupied Territories.
The state of Israel must be dismantled and occupation must end for such a permanent ceasefire to happen. Support the end of the occupation.

"Following her abduction by the IOF from her home two weeks ago in #Ramallah, the zionist courts issued PFLP leader Khalida Jarrar an administrative detention order, without charge or trial.
Khalida, 60 years old, has been imprisoned at least four times on baseless charges, most recently in 2016 and 2021. She was freed in September of 2021 after two years of administrative detention without charge or trial. Just two months before her release, the zionist entity denied her a temporary release to attend the funeral of her 31-year-old daughter, activist Suha Jarrar. Additionally, Khalida lost her father while she was imprisoned in 2021.
Khalida, a lifelong activist, intellectual, and leader, has stood defiantly in support of the prisoners' struggle. She has held many civil society positions, elected as a deputy in the Legislative Council in 2006, where she was responsible for the prisoners' file. Before her abudction, she was working as a researcher on Palestinian female prisoners at Birzeit University."

In #Nablus, the IOF is sending reinforcements in preparation for the demolition of the home of martyr Muath Al-Masri, who was assassinated in May in an operation that included over 200 IOF soldiers, following his operation with martyr Hassan Qatnani that killed three settlers in the Jordan Valley.

Hisham Abu Hawwash, 42 years old, was liberated from zionist prisoners after his victorious 141-day-long hunger strike in January 2022 following his abduction without charge or trial in October 2020.

That's half my town's population worth of people in prison, many of whom have not been charged or given trial and are being referred to as "detainees" despite being captives, that is absolute insanity
Don't forget, many captives being released may be adults now but many were children when they were stolen.
Two released yesterday were 5 and 6 respectively when they were stolen away, I saw a video of their father embracing them and sobbing with joy, remembering it makes my own eyes sting to think of the heartache Palestinians suffer not just from bombs and guns, but from night raids and the snatching of their children under idiotic reasons such as "throwing stones" at armoured vehicles
