the thing about sylki that bothers me the most is that if sylvie were male, way more people would be up in arms about a romance between loki and his variant. if it were a mlm relationship, people would hate it because “it’s weird, they’re the same person!” or “it’s self-cest, it’s gross.”

but guess what? just because sylvie is female doesn’t mean those arguments don’t apply. I guarantee that the only reason some people support the ship (especially casual fans) is because it’s between a man and a woman, which is frankly disgusting and irritating.

I'm rereading an old fic I started shortly after the Loki series came out because I kinda wanna go back to writing it but honestly I'm not sure I can top this line:

"Wow," Sylvie says. "We've gone through three different conversation starters and all I've learned is that people think you're annoying, as if I hadn't figured that out myself."

#it's my fic where TVA Loki's gonna get with Sylvie and Avengers Loki's gonna get with Mobius because fuck ship wars #if there can be 20+ Lokis in one episode of the show #there can be two Lokis in my fanfic to make both my ships come true #i just wanna get to the part where Avengers Loki and Mobius start spending more time on Earth than in Asgard #but that's a whole Process to get there that ideally I want to take at least a couple weeks in the fic #because Avengers Loki can't get blackout drunk out of self-pity if he's only been home for two days y'know #and Sylki's gotta get together first but I remember finding Sylki much harder to write than Lokius was in this fic so that's kinda daunting #but idk i'll give it a try and maybe I can get back into this fic #second chances

I had intitially made this is a single one-shot after the Season Finale, but it kind of just... kept going? More and more scenes came to life in my head, and now here they are: A multi-chapter continuation fic following Sylvie and Loki as they try to get a start on mopping up the multi-verse whilst trying to work out these messy, confusing feelings they have for one another.
