Summary: rivals to lovers? Softie bakugo and him swearing, been wanting to write this for a while♡ (i take request!)

you and bakugou love to argue with each other. It's literally a routine for the two of you to argue. Everyone tries to get you two to stop but eventually they stopped trying because they realized you two don't take each other seriously. If it ever did get heated you'll hear the sounds of crackling from bakugo and your quirk activating.
youre mom told you could be a lawyer with that mouth of yours. you took it as a compliment though you knew it wasnt,
Many people told you that you'd have better success with being a lawyer than a hero. They joked that if your hero career ever failed law school was your next destination. except bakugou. Instead of trying to discourage you to stop with that smart mouth of yours he always challenged you to encouraged you and you knew that.
You both knew that even with the harsh words you threw at each other you didn't mean it, you both are just fiery people who like a bit of a challenge.
So as you both walked out of the school at the end of the day, you pulled him aside and decided to thank you and tell him what you really felt about him, in your own way of course.
"What are we doing over here dumbass?" He groaned
"Shut up and listen to me for a few minutes. I worked really hard on writing this so just shush for me for once." You said as you pulled out a paper.
you waited for him to close his mouth to continue,
"The topic of today's debate will be about why bakugou should date (name)." You looked up at him before continuing.
"Well first thing is we both know we have a thing for each other-"
"-yknow you dont need to make a whole deal out of it, i would say yes either way dumbass"
"Ah ah- what'd i just say bakugou?" You raised your eyebrow feeling a blush on your cheeks.
"Okay then," he grabbed you closer to him drapping his arm around your shoulder. "Finish it while we walk to our first date then,"
You laughed at him, "gladly."

"Nope,"

when the rest of the first year trio catched up to him they were like

Yuuji was so bright and cheery and out there- and then you, you just looked the opposite

"Yeah! Im so glad you met them now, they didn't believe that i have a girlfriend" he said to you
"Did they now ?" A glare visible on your face
Yuuji and his big mouth tattled on them, they could tell you were mad at them. They turned towards yuuji and made a face at him, yuuji realized what he said and the type of person you are he laughed nervously.

anyways safe to say since that day you werent really friendly with the his two friends, and they decided not to get on your bad side anymore

Itadori adores your curls. No, thats an understatement he loves your curls.
He loves it all no matter how short or long they are.
He loves to just watch them recoil back after he pulled them. Just entranced. He loved to watch all the hairstyles you could pull off. He didnt know what most were but he still thought it was so cool. He especially liked when you would have colored hair, pink hair the most. He loved that you matched his hair color. But today you took an extra step in styling your now pink hair and add cute little pink hearts made from your hair. Literal heart eyes could be seen in his eyes when he saw you that morning during school. After complimenting your hair and you swatting his hand away from your scalp everytime he tried to touch it, a lightbulb lit up in his head and he snuck out of your grasp that afternoon. Not seeing him ever since the bell rung signaling that class was over, you headed towards the dorm to go find him.
"Yuu?" You called out peeping into your room. After checking with your other first year friends and his dorm you decided to check in your room.
"In here!" You heard the voice of your boyfriend call out
Following his voice you walked into your bathroom.
"What are you doing in my bathroom-"
"-surprise!" He shouted showing his pink hair with also pink hearts made from his hair.
Surprise could be seen on your face very much, "is this why you've been avoiding me since class?" You laughed
"Yep! Do you like it? I used your flat iron to do it,"
"Awee yuu its cute but i hope you flat ironed your hair right,,"
"O- what do you mean right?"
"Heat damages your hair yuuji."
"Then why do you do it then?"

-I could probably go on and on about her wardrobe
-yknow a chile be broke so you gotta thrift, until they started making the prices go up for clothes at thrift stores and now im broke broke-
-but enough about me, uraraka flips her thrifts with what she got
-i headcannon that sewing is a hobby of hers, like yknowlike she gets really pumped or whatever? She puts that energy into her sewing projects when she's too aggressive
-she always goes for demin whenever she goes out
-she doesnt like to show much skin but she'll be willing to wear a crop top
-loves to wear bright bubbly colors to match her bubbly personality! Though she can rock some plaid

-personally see her preferring skirts over jeans and wears midi skirts alot

-she doesnt like to show much skin and always wears sweaters, especially during fall and winter she needs to stay warm and toasty

It had been a few days since Jirou's encounter with you, making it a Tuesday. Class was over and it was time for lunch. Jirou walked out of class with the bakusquad plus Hagekure, which were currently arguing about a new horror movie that came out. The group watched the movie the night before excluding bakugo because of his lame ass curfew.
"That movie was so bad, the chick shouldve survived in the end." Denki said whining.
"And why's that?" Asked Jirou.
"Because its the rules! The girl always survives in the end, plus she's the main character!?"
"To be honest, her not surviving made the movie better." Sero could feel sweatdrops forming on his head. He thought the movie wasnt good in the slightest.
"It did not!" Hagekure said.
Everyone pitched in to the argument picking sides, besides bakugou who was yelling at the group to shut up. Jirou laughed at their antics as she watched a group across from the former group walking in the hallway. She squinted her eyes a bit to see the group better. She recognized them as class 1b students. Realizing that she watched the group hoping to see you. so focused she didnt even notice the group calling her name.
"-Jirou?" Her name being called brought her back to earth,
"Hey is there someone named (name) in class 1b?" Jirou asked staring at the group ahead of them,
"Yeah, theres (name) right there," Mina answered looking to the group.
There you were laughing with your friends as you started walking down the hallway. The group could hear you guys talking about foreign foods as you guys walked towards the cafeteria. You were grabbing onto a boy with short fluffy brown hair while facing to the blonde hair girl from earlier when Jirou first saw you. You suddenly turned your attention backward, feeling eyes on you from behind. your eyes fell on Jirou causing a small blush to form on her cheeks. You eyed her for a moment while the blonde girl was talking to you.
"But the others havent had California rolls yet Poni !" You said laughing as your attention moved back towards her.
"Yeah but still! Yknow what, were getting those for lunch then," The blonde girl named Pony said grabbing your hand and pulling you causing the group of friends around you to walk faster.
"That extra?"
"(Names) like the most popular person in our year, how do you not know who that is?" Hagekure yelled at bakugo
"They're all unimportant to me," he said
"Youre unbelievable Bakugou" Mina said sighing
"WHAT WAS THAT RACCOON EYES?"
"You think (names) dating anyone? Their super good looking" Denki asked ignoring bakugou's yelling
"Theyre probably dating that one guy, did you see how close they were?!"
"I mean hes super good looking also, i wouldn't be surprised,"
"You didn't even see his face, how do you know?" Kirishima asked
"Dang it, why are all the hot people all taken?" Denki whined out
"like you could even get their phone number"
Everyone laughed at that except Jirou which no one noticed was quieter than usual at the moment. All that was one her mind was the look you gave her as you walked past her. She couldnt tell what that look meant or whyd you stared at her but she did know that the blush was still on her face.
It was hours later and the bell could be heard letting everyone know that it was the end of the schoolday. Small groups were still lingering in the classroom, and Jirou was exhausted. She just wanted to go to her dorm and listen to music, except she couldnt do that at the moment because once she stepped out of the classroom by herself she spotted you standing agianst the wall with your arms crossed. Surprised, Jirou looked around the hallway to see if anyone was out in the hall also.
"I saw you." Gaining her attention you stood up straighter getting off from leaning on the wall.
Confusion could be seen on Jirou's face, but before she could open her mouth you spoke agian.
"-last weekend, I saw you."
"And you saw me too right? You saw me arguing with that flaky hair bitch," You sounded like you were talking to yourself the second sentence. Jirou could feel a nervous drop form as she nodded her head.
"Did you tell your friends?" You asked back on topic.
"Tell my friends what?"
"That i caused a scene in public in front of everyone."
"No?" She was confused as to where this conversation was leading to.
"Oh good," you sighed.
You jumped up and stepped closer to Jirou, causing the two of you closer than most strangers would be. "You cant tell them!"
"Wha- w-why cant i tell them?-" jirou could feel herself flustering up at your closeness,
"please keep it a secret!! I dont want anyone to know what I did!"
"Fighting?"
"Oh no, that i was doing readings"
Jirou froze confused, she wasnt expecting her afternoon to be spent like this. First she confirms that you do go to her school and that you're popular?
"So you like doing occult?"
"Something like that" you said laughing nervously.
"And why cant i tell?" She was still confused about that part, not as if she would tell anyway.
"Because no one's suppose to know outside of my friendgroup, i guess you could say its apart of my quirk and I cant just letting anyone know about my quirk now" you said putting a finger to your lips.
"But now you know so I guess i have to make you someone I know now" you winked at her.
"So, whats your name?"
"Jirou kyoka, and yours?"
"(Full name), i hope we can be good friends Jirou." You take her hands in yours wrapping your fingers around hers.
"And if its alright can i get your number too?" As you say this you pull out ur phone.
"Yeah sure.." not sure why you asked for that she pulled out her phone and the two of you exchanged contacts. It was ironic considering how Jirou and her friends were just bullying Denki about how he couldn't even get someone's number.
the sound of a phone snapping a picture brought her back into the present.
"Contact picture of course," you say smiling.
"Hey wait let me see-" the thought of a picture of jirou looking off track in thought embarrassed her.
"-Sorry gotta go !" You laughed running away from her before she could reach out for you.
Standing in the hallway Jirou sighed watching you run away replaying the interaction in her mind.
She definitely wasn't expecting today to be like this.

Jirou was currently walking down the streets of Shibuya on a what mina likes to call it- "girls day out", though it was just a regular weekend in early September .
Whenever the girls were free they would all go out together on the weekends to unstress themselves from the well week. Occasionally, some of the guys would come too but when it's specifically "girls day out" they weren't allowed to come at all.
What happens during girls day out is that the friends would split up in partners or trios and meet up in a hour at a cafe or whatever fun thing was around. Jirou, Momo, and Hagekure were together and Tsu, Mina, and Ochako were together today. But currently, Jirou was by herself to go check out a new music and electronic store that was apparently around the block. Momo and Hagekure were currently trying out some clothes and didn't come with Jirou because she promised she'd be back within 10 mins and also because she was a bit embarrassed at checking out music with her friends.
Eight minutes had passed and she walked out of the store with new headphones and a free pick that came with purchases at the store. She didn't expect to buy anything there but after spotting the lastest headphones everyone was talking about on sale with the new opening of the store she had to get them. She walked out of the store with a small smile when she saw a small line a few feet in front of a building complex. She decided to walk by not caring as much about what was happening when she heard a somebody sqealing.
"Not to sound like one of those people but with the nine of cups and the sun, you and your boyfriend are going in the right direction with that thing we talked about earlier!" A voice said that sounded excited,
"For reals?! I told you that this persons the real deal!" A girl holding another girls hand said to the other.
"I cant believe you believe in this crap, its totally not real." The second girl said rolling her eyes.
"But it is! I came here two weeks ago and this person predicted the future for me, you should totally get a reading"
"She's right, today's the only day to get a free reading for a 15 min session." You said, at this point Jirou got unconsciously got closer to the barely in orderly fashion line.
"whatever, you shouldn't believe them, they use cheap tricks to get you."
"If you don't like what I'm doing you can leave, and I'm not tricking anyone, i promise this is all true."
"What so you're saying this is all real? Are you some kind of witch or something? Do you do weird rituals like azealia banks or something" the girl snickered earning a mug look from you.
You eyed her carefully before turning towards the nicer girl,
"I know she did not just call me azealia banks-"
"Yes i did, is there a problem?" The girl stepped closer to you.

Standing up Jirou could take in your features, she realized that you were actually really pretty/handsome. She also realized that there were about two other people standing by your side that she just noticed, she recognized one of them, a boy with silverish hair and part of class 1b at school that participated in the sports festival. The other she didn't recognize as much with blonde hair and short with round eyes. She must have also been part of class 1b too.
"I think you should check your friend before she ends up hurting herself," you said with a smile.
"Well I think you should check yourself before you end up hurting yourself"
With that you took it upon yourself to take that as a sign to whoop her ass.
"Sqaure up so I can rock yo shit bitch, com' here-" you got closer to the girl who gladly decided to get closer to you testing you.
"YEAH BEAT HER ASS (NAME)" The silver hair boy yelled at you.
"Tetsu! Violence isn't always the answer!" The blond girl yelled her cheeks puffing up in anger.
"If it isn't the answer why aren't you stopping them??!" Tetsu yelled back, watching you yelling at the girl as you get ready to bop her ass.
"(Name) stop it right now or I'll go get kendo and you know she'll rock you before you get to with this girl" She said pulling out her phone.
At that you paused between mid pulling the girl's hair and quickly appeared to their side.
"Ahaha I guess it can't be helped then, have a nice day you two sorry for the inconvenience :D" you rubbed the back of your neck laughing, pretending nothing even happened.
With that the two customers walked away. You could hear the girl huff and mumble something under her breath
"What was that flakey hair bitch-"
"-(NAME)"
As you talked to the next person in line and your two friends that were with you, Jirou watched as you laughed to your friends apologizing. Jirou could feel a tiny smile fall on her face again as she tried her best not to laugh out loud at the whole situation. Her phone then ringed which made her pick up with kure whining on the phone asking her where was she. Realizing how much time past and the previous situation she laughed apologizing on the phone telling her she lost the time.
As she ran off you couldn't help but look to see a girl run off that you acknowledged was watching the whole scene play out, though you didnt see much since she ran just in time.
