Trying to plan a surprise was literally impossible in the Kirishima-Bakugo household. The house was always in pristine condition, everything in it's proper place and able to be located without a second thought. If something was moved or used, there was a 95% chance Bakugo would notice, no matter what it was - his favorite spatula, a random mug, and even a specific set of towels in the bathroom. He had the house mapped in his mind down to the last non-existent dust bunny in the foyer.

By some miracle, Bakugo believed Kirishima was taking him out to dinner for his birthday and didn't invite you along. Sure, they needed their time alone together too, but most of the time, Bakugo was the one making sure you were included in their plans. It all worked out in your favor, though. Earlier in the week, you’d texted the both of them to trick Bakugo into thinking you wouldn’t see him Saturday.

Kirishima was fully aware of your plan, ecstatic that you wanted to do something so sweet for Bakugo. He’d told you how all of his past surprise parties had failed for him - he couldn’t keep the excitement to himself and would fold before the party happened. You had to do a little work to be sure he wouldn’t spill the beans this time, too. Nothing a few sweet kisses couldn’t fix, promising to reward him for keeping quiet.

A quick trip to the grocery store and plenty of recipe research later, you had everything you needed to make the dinner. Kirishima mentioned that you’d have about half an hour to set up and get everything ready, so most of the cooking would need to be done in your apartment. It was simple, a mish-mash of his favorites; mapo tofu, cooked salmon with a honey garlic glaze and some grilled vegetables. You thought about using Bakugo’s home grown veggies, but that would have given away the surprise if he saw them go missing that morning.

Cooking went surprisingly easier than you thought it would. Creating the glaze for the salmon was honestly the hardest part, but you're proud of how it looks and smells, the fish cooked with a perfect sear. Your kitchen smells incredible and it's sad that the aroma won't be fully following you to their home.

Just when you're putting everything in the oven to keep warm, you get a text from Kirishima.

[eiji 🥊❤️] we’re leaving the house now! you’re clear to head over in five minutes [you] thanks eiji! i’ll pack up and head over.

When you arrive at their house, you park around the corner to be sure Bakugo doesn't see your car before he goes inside. Your unloading the food onto the kitchen counter when your phone buzzes three times, one from Kirishima and two from Bakugo, outside of your group chat.

[eiji 🥊❤️] headed home, kats is a little grumpy lol. see you in 15!

[katsu 🐯🧡] eiji fucked up our reservation and we're headed home [katsu 🐯🧡] if ya wanna come over. miss you sweets

'Oh, if only he knew,' you thought, smiling to yourself. You don't respond and place your phone back on the counter.

With the food in the oven to warm up, the table set, the lights off, and Bakugo's present on the counter, you were ready for them to walk through the door any moment now. Kirishima warned you that Bakugo was upset, but you're confident his mood will do a 180 once he sees the true plan.

The front door opens, accompanied by shoes hitting the floor and keys hitting the table in the entry way.

"Can't believe they messed up the reservation," you hear Bakugo complain, grumbling to himself. "Stupid ass fancy place can't keep their books straight."

"I know, I'm sorry baby," Kirishima apologizes, looking toward the kitchen to catch your eye. "But I think you'll prefer to be home, anyways."

Bakugo's about to question why when you walk out of the kitchen and into view, hair pulled back in a neat ponytail and wearing his favorite pretty black dress.

"Happy birthday, Katsuki! Hope you're hungry, we've got plenty waiting for you."

You're expecting him to burst out laughing, make a snarky comment, or roll his eyes with a smirk on his face, but none of that comes. He stands there, awestruck with a gleam in his carmine stare while his lips curl into a genuine smile.

"You two really did all this for me?" Bakugo asks, looking back and forth between you and Kirishima.

"Of course, Kat. You deserve to be spoiled! Come on, dinner is ready." You take his hand and lead him into the kitchen, pulling out his normal chair at the table. Kirishima follows, helping you prep three plates of food and delivering them to the table. After you place Bakugo's plate down in front of him, he grabs your face and tugs you back into his bubble to kiss you.

"Thank you," he whispers, nuzzling your nose before letting you go. He repeats then sentiment to Kirishima as well, giving him a peck on his forehead before he joins the table. "Both of you."

The three of you devour every bite of dinner - it turned out absolutely fantastic, ending with Bakugo asking you for the recipe you used for the salmon. That's the highest compliment coming from him, knowing that he's going to take the original and hit the ground running with a version of his own.

"One more thing for you, Kats!" you exclaim, grabbing the gift bag from the counter. Bakugo takes the present from you, rustling through the orange tissue paper. When he pulls out the brand new gardening tool kit, including some vegetable and flower seeds, his eyes sparkle with delight.

"I know you more than likely have a set already, but it never hurts to have a back up!"

Bakugo sets the bag on the counter and scoops you into a tight hug.

"Thank you, princess. I appreciate it."

Kirishima struts over, patting him on the back. "Maybe our little goddess here could help you plant the new seeds! Now that you have two sets, you could teach her how you tend to the garden."

"That's a great idea, Red. We can start soon with spring in full swing."

You couldn't be happier with how the day turned out. Seeing Bakugo's smile is all you ever wished for. He was glowing for the rest of the night, giddy over the idea of teaching you all about his gardening ways in the coming weeks.

Safe to say, it was a successful birthday.

⤷ Bakugou

arms folded and an amused smile tugging on his lips, he leans side-ways against door frame as he watches you struggle to reach the shelf because he finds it cute. “need help, darling?” he asks teasingly, grinning wider at your annoyed huff before he finally walks towards you and grabs it for you.

⤷ Deku

he’s passing by the kitchen when he sees you trying to reach something in the upper cabinets. he takes just a while to watch the cute sight with an a fond smile then quietly comes up behind you, one hand placed on your waist while the other effortlessly reaches up for the shelf. “here,” he says, handing you the glassware, then leaves a small kiss on top of your head.

⤷ Kirishima

he comes into the kitchen, acting like he’s going to help you but instead, cages you against the counter. his head tilted to the side, he looks at you with a playful glint in his eyes and a light-hearted grin on his face. “i think i should get something in return if i help you.” he then steals a kiss before reaching up the cabinet for you.

⤷ Todoroki

he’s so focused on reading the ingredients listed on the ramen pack that he doesn’t notice you struggling to reach for the shelf. only when he glances at you and sees you climb onto the counter, he rushes over to you, hurriedly saying, “oh my god, y/n, what are you doing?” he already knows the answer and softly tells you to be careful. letting out a small chuckle, he helps you come down, saying, “you could’ve just asked me, love,”

⤷ Denki

he finds the whole situation very cute and kind of teases you about it afterwards, but first he comes up to you with a playful smile on his face and helps you get what you want but before giving it to you he puts his arms up behind his back and tells you to give him a kiss as a reward, only then will you get what you wanted.

⤷ Tamaki

he doesn’t think twice when he sees you taking a chair to get up and get what you want; he thinks it’s cute, but at the same time he’s worried that you might fall and get hurt. “hey, don’t worry love, next time you can call me and i’ll help you” he says calmly as you get off the chair and kiss your forehead.

⤷ Shinsou

he would smirk as he enters the kitchen and sees you on tiptoe as you stretch your arm. he stands behind you and one hand he holds your waist while the other goes to the shelf and takes what you want. he smiles when you thank him and leaves a kiss on your neck before leaving.

⤷ Hawks

he would smile so hugely at the cute scene; he would silently approach you and make one of his feathers to take what you want and bring it to him. you turn around a little startled, and he smiles when he sees your expression. “looking for this, honey?” he asks with a gentle yet provocative smile. you went to take it from his hands and thank him but before you could do anything he says, “oh not so fast.. i want my payment first” he says pouting, ready for you to kiss him as a reward.

⤷ Dabi

he chuckles, extending his arms and easily reaching the shelf. as he hands you the package, his lips curl up into a grin, his eyebrows raised in a teasing manner, “aren’t you lucky you have me, huh,” he says, poking your cheek playfully before leaning back on the counter and tugging you closer.

⤷ Shigaraki

when he walks into the kitchen and sees you, he can’t help but smile a little. he silently walks over to you and leans on the other counter, watching you from behind. you give up with a sigh and when you turn around you’re startled by him standing there with his arms crossed and a look you couldn’t decipher. “need some help?” he says, but you know just saying ‘yes’ won’t do, he wants to hear you asking. “yes, tomura. can you get it for me, please?” you ask but he just stares at you with a frown, “ugh, what else do you want me to do?” he just laughs, still waiting. you then approach and kiss his cheek and he quickly blushes, avoiding looking at you. “isn’t that what you wanted?” you ask jokingly and he grumbles something before getting what you want.

✧ a/n :: based off this !! tbh i wrote this so quickly, but i wrote it and that's that !!

katsuki's footsteps match yours as you walk side by side while he listens to you. you're musing about something; it could be anything and everything under the sun and he holds onto your every word, trying to look at you while keeping his focus on the bustle of the city roads.

as much as he wants to keep listening, the speeding of cars right next to you (a little exaggeration) has a drop of unease causing him the slightest discomfort.

it's quick and smooth, the way he tugs gently onto your sleeve and pulls you to the other side of him. a little startled, you let out an 'oh!' and turn your face to look at him.

"i don't trust your dumbass to not stumble into the road."

red eyes look ahead but you know he's aware of the way you look at him, a smile playing on your lips.

"such a gentleman, katsuki—"

he snorts. "shut it. now, go on."

only katsuki tells you to shut up and continue talking in the same breath. with a small chuckle, you pick up where you left off, trying to ignore the butterflies fluttering in your stomach as you replay your boyfriend's motions in your head.

you step out of the store with eijirou following right behind you, carrying the new clothes he 'helped' you pick out.

"all you did was react the same to every item of clothing, eiji!" your head is turned back to look at him, and as you walk out into the street you watch him laugh lightly, oh so beautifully.

"not my fault you look gorgeous in everything, pretty— woah there!"

now alert, your eyes don't leave eijirou as his steps quicken a little, closing whatever gap lay between the two of you. his hand guides you to the side after he places it against the small of your back, and you find that he's put himself in between you and the busy road you weren't paying attention to.

"there we go! gotta keep my pretty outta the way of danger." his sharp teeth flash at you in a proud grin.

"such a manly man you are, eiji," you play along and somehow his grin grows brighter.

he reaches for and grasps the bag of clothing you hold, passes it to the hand farthest from you and reaches for your free hand.

his fingers interlock with yours and you can't help but smile at how cute he is.

"always for you, pretty."

He just looks so good in the mornings.

Flaming locks of red hair down, mouth full from the toothpaste foam that he scrubs at, his sweatpants low on his hips to reveal just the smallest slip of the band of his boxers. His eyes sleepily blink at himself, but widen and curve into a smile as you slowly creep into the bathroom to be with him.

“Hey beautiful,” he hums, voice warbled behind the toothbrush and paste. “You’re up early, ain’t ya?”

“It was cold,” you pout, your arms wrapping lowly around his waist as you burrow into the muscles of his back. Seemingly second nature, his free hand rests on top of yours, fingers nudging to lace affectionately in your sleepy grip. “Hate when you leave so early…”

“I know, momma,” he hums, bending down slightly to spit the frothed toothpaste in the sink. “But’ll only be for a few hours; I’ll come home as soon as I can.”

“But that’s too long,” you whine. His back shakes as he chuckles, bouncing you slightly, and you do your best to hide the smile that wants to break out over your face.

“You can be a good girl for me, yeah?” He says, gently bringing the hand he’s holding closer to his face. “I’ll grab some nice dinner for us on my way home, have a quiet night in?” Lips plant a kiss to your soft knuckles, and you smile as the kisses turn into little pecks over all of your fingers, gingerly extending them so he may kiss the pads.

“Your stubble is wild today,” you snort, fingers curling slightly under the tickle of the coarse hairs.

He snorts and gently lets go of your hand, “fuck, I know.” The hand once holding yours scratching over the grate of his cheeks, “gotta shave this shit before I go- I forget you’re not used to seein’ my five o’clock shadow.”

“It’s hot,” you purr, and this makes the glimmer in his eyes turn playful, and the lips on his face turn to a smirk.

“Yeah?”

“Yeah.”

“How hot is it?” He murmurs, leaning down to rest his face in the crook of your neck. You squeal and toss your arms around his shoulders, giggling softly with the feeling of his stubble raking over the thin skin of your neck. You mewl and burrow into the warm muscles as he lets his hands wander lovingly.

“Hot enough where you should call out and be with me,” you murmur, relishing in the way his chest rumbles with laughter. "Hot enough where I'm officially pissed you shave it every morning. Hot enough where I want you to throw me on the-"

"Okay," he interrupts, smirking all the same. "Point taken. You like my stubble."

You scoff and lean up to kiss him again, another chance at savoring the coarse hairs on his jaw and cheeks.

"'Like it?' My love, it's damned delicious."

You say nothing else as you spin on your heel, leaving him alone in the brightness in the bathroom to linger on your words.

You smirk into your cup of tea when he comes out unshaven.

A/N: I saw a head cannon once that said Kirishima wants like six kids and it never left my mind.

Your husband gives you those eyes again. The fourth time this has happened. "Hey. No. No. No. Stop it! We are not having another one!"

Eijiro lets out a hushed, but dramatic whine, as he leans over his six month old daughters crib. "But she needs a sister," He pouts and you scoff at him.

"She already has two older brothers." You reason as you lead him out of the nursery and shut the door softly. He follows at your heels, grabbing your waist from behind. His large, very much pro-hero frame presses up against you and like usual, you are trapped in it. He leans down and begins leave small kisses along your neck.

"But isn't she so cute? Cmon we already have three, how hard could one more be?" He purrs and you sigh in his hold.

"Easy for you to say. I don't wanna go through another nine months of hell." He chuckles at you, vibrations go up your spine at it.

"But you look so pretty pregnant."

"You are a pervert."

"Only for my beautiful wife and the mother of my children."

You look over at the door just across the hall. The room your three and five year old share. You hear their hushed giggles, trying not to caught past bedtime and smile.

"You really want another one?" He twirls you around, forcing you to look up at him and grins, pressing his lips to yours.

Eijiro, after a long moment, peels himself away and whispers dreamily, "Yes. Or two or three more..." You lightly punch him and he laughs.

"Alright, one more. But that's it Eijiro!" He lifts you up effortlessly and twirls you around, just like he did the other three times. You giggle and he kisses you again.

He begins to walk backwards, leading you toward the entrance of your bedroom. "Alright. One more. For now...."

You raise your eyebrows at him and pull away dramatically. "Never mind. I take it back. We are getting you a vasectomy." You push him out of the room and shut the door in his face.

He gasps and whisper yells, trying not to wake his daughter. "Babe, I'm just joking! Cmon don't be like this! I need to be in the room if we want another baby!"

After a couple second of his pleading, you give in. You giggle in triumph before swiftly opening the door and dragging him in toward the bed.

With the years to come, you guys compromised. Which meant that the two of you had five children. Even then, Eijiro still tried to ask for another. He was not successful.

Warnings - arguments, cursing, crying

Katsuki Bakugou

▹part of being in a relationship with Katsuki is dealing with his harsh personality. Even if he does calm down the older he gets, it's still probably not to the same extent of a normal human being.

▹he probably would be completely speechless the moment you started crying after an argument - straight up would not know how to respond to that.

▹his eyes would go wide and he would go to take a step towards you and then bring himself back, holding his arm to himself.

▹"hey... don't do that"

▹for all his faults Katsuki is, deep inside, a good person and he knows this is the kind of shit you lose relationships from and he really really doesn't want to lose you.

▹ but he does know he can be a bit much and he probably takes a while to come down from whatever he's feeling so he just kinda leaves for a few minutes

▹ he comes back with a cup of tea and perches gently on the bed next to you, avoiding eye contact

▹he would do his best to spit out an apology, but it's not something that would come naturally to him. Seeing your face crumple like it did is still replaying in his mind and he knows he has to fix this somehow - so he does his best to explain himself

▹eventually he would just stop rambling and take your hand in his, squeezing it gently.

▹"I'm sorry, I shouldn't have said that to you"

▹ he'd just sit by you, hand in his until you were ready to talk to him and talk over what had led to the argument in the first place and he really does take your words to heart about what upset you

▹he'd try to cut down on raising his voice and try to cut out teasing nicknames entirely, unless he knew you were okay with them already

▹a sweet guy really

Eijirou Kirishima

▹I cannot see Kiri upsetting you on purpose, even during an argument he isn't the type to yell or get super angry with you

▹him making you cry is most likely a complete accident on his part, or even him accidentally playing into an insecurity you have without properly thinking about it

▹when your relationship first started out, I think he probably didn't understand you might not be comfortable with the things he's comfortable with, especially during social situations

▹ also probably doesn't understand others might read his kindness as flirting, so when you two are invited to a hero party to socialise and he pretty much ignored you the whole night, he had no idea why you began tearing up on the way home

▹obviously, he's worried about why you're crying and what he did! and how he can fix it is at the forefront of his mind almost immediately after noticing

▹and when you explain it to him, he pretty much crumbles straight away - he is in disbelief that he made you feel that way

▹he falls over himself explaining that he didn't mean to make you feel that way, he was just overwhelmed by the pressure of hero society and got caught up

▹Kiri is very good at admitting when he is wrong, and puts a lot of effort into having healthy communication in his relationships - platonic or otherwise

▹pulls over the car literally just so he can hold both of your hands in his and make eye contact as he explains his actions, specifically so you understand he's being genuine

▹"I'd never do that to you on purpose, you're the most important person to me"

▹after your sniffles have subsided, he pulls you into a hug and promises never to do something like that again - and you bet he keeps his promise!!!

▹takes you to get food too, just as an extra apology and you sit in the car park eating ice cream together - he makes sure you're the center of his attention the entire time <3

Denki Kaminari

▹oh he's so stupid. he's so lovely, but so, so stupid.

▹honestly he probably says something insanely embarrassing in front of your friends and pays no attention to how that might make you feel, especially if you're close to these people

▹doesn't even notice when the room goes completely silent and nobody is talking but him, it takes one of his friends clearing their throat for him to notice your eyes filling with tears

▹in his defense, he does try to explain himself straight away and takes you into another room to have the conversation (at the very least) but it takes a little bit more explaining to him why his actions would upset you

▹doesn't really get it at first but you explaining, and your face as you cry, makes his heart hurt and he tries to rectify his actions as soon as he can

▹the first thing he thinks to do in that moment is bundle you up in his arms and rock the both of you back and forth to calm you down, which works a little more than you'd like to admit

▹runs his hands over your back, up and down, until your breathing evens out - does not give a shit about anyone outside of you two in that moment

▹once you've stopped crying, full on apology - hands and knees!

▹he seems genuinely heartbroken to have embarrassed you and takes full responsibility for what he did

▹ kicks everyone else out of the house and spends the rest of the evening making it up to you and reminding you of how important you are to him and just how sorry he is
