eyyyyyyyyyy i just realized... I don't have a fae equivalent yet. Anyway, ancient gijinka ideas I've been thinking about, because moderns aren't the only one who need an equivalent.
Aberrations, these aren't any species in particular. Aberrations are the result of magic or science gone awry, practiced on the living or the dead, which changes the dragon/s involved fundamentally.
Aethers, being dragons from space I was going to make them githzerai to mirror the githyanki but the moth-look was just too cute so I'm going to make them Moth-lit. Moderns will often lump them in with beastfolk, Tundra, but some have taken to calling them 'mothfolk', 'mothkin', or even 'moth-lit'. Once treasured by their God, and then cast away when they did not go as planed, the Moth-lit are not a group that typically hurts at the silence of the Eleven. Most comfortable when among their crew, groups of Moth-lit are led by an immortal queen. While each Moth-lit is independent, and capable of making their own choices, many will follow the sway of the Queen as if they were still the crew of her ship. Some moth-lit have two arms in humanoid form, some still have four, it is unclear if the difference is perhaps subspecies of moth-lit or if it is the shifting capability of the individual.
Auraboas are dryads, often mistaken by the modern breeds to be gensai, elemental, or sometimes even beastfolk. Keepers of nature, shy, mischievous; while there have always been stories of the dryads they were believed to be only myth until recent times. Young dryads, now being disconnected from the loop that connects all of the ancients of their people, are culturally separate from their ancestors. Unable to connect in the same method as the dryads of past, these saplings have made an encounter with a dryad much more common than it once was.
Banescale are elementals, often perceived as a dangerous, more powerful, version of gensai... which is closer to the truth than moderns often get when facing an ancient. While gensai are born of, and connected to, an element they are not made of it. Banescale, the elementals, on the other hand are the physical being of a strong concentration of spirited element. While both are subject to be effected by the environment around them, the gensai are a more physically stable people. Both are incredibly rare with little of their own culture remaining. The concentration of element required to create an elemental seems to be so great that air around one seems to warp, as if its very existence shifts the world around it.
Gaoler are beastfolk, the same as tundra, they are just a much older version of the same people. Being a people frozen in time, from a place much bigger, wilder, and more demanding, the Gaoler are a larger people who often exist in a state in between fully humanoid and fully draconian. It is notable that the gaoler are one of the people that were accepted the easiest by the modern breeds, though their methods may seem a little strange their culture is not so alien.
Sandsurge, in a similar vein as the gaoler, are a earlier version of the Goliath, ridgeback, people. Even more fearsome, even more isolationist, they are known for keeping their scales even when otherwise fully shifted, as if to ensure they are always armored when dealing with outsiders.... a task they seem to loathe. Goliath may live in forgotten corners of the world, but the sandsurge live deep beneath the bones of forgotten civilizations. Vanished into the sands, like a mirage.
Undertides can be Laneshi, people of long-lost myth that are said to live in the tides in a way that even those blessed by the Tidelord himself could only dream of. The have a two-caste system with people being split into either the mystic or warrior caste. Tight-knit in culture, they prefer to spend their time in groups and can often struggle to acclimate to other lairs due to their higher social needs. Covered in small, toxin-laced, spines- they are dangerous to interaction too closely with.
Veilspun are changelings, capable of shifting their appearance entirely to fit wherever they end up. While the way they look can change entirely in an instant, Veilspun will almost always keep their hair at a length that is extraordinarily long for other species. Always capable of spotting another of their kind, with life spans several times of that of the average modern, decade long grudges between individuals of their species is not uncommon. Veilspun are a people who mirror their environment back and who have spreed through all of the land without notice. Like other ancients, the changelings often have trouble shifting entirely between forms and they will often keep a set of wings, horns, a tail, or claws.

This is X! She’s a ghost that been around since the dawn of time, and because of that she doesn’t remember anything from when she was alive for ✨Lore purposes✨
Because of that she doesn’t really remember her name, so she goes by X! She haunts an alleyway, and she stays there because the only she remembers is that something important happens there so she needs to stay to make sure she’s there for it.
This is Anthony! He see’s ghosts, and together with him, X, and their little demon friend, they try to uncover the mystery of her death, and what is supposed to happen in the alleyway. He’s also a detective and a writer! He likes to write mystery stories, and they’re inspired by the cases he worked in the past.
Last is CJ, the demon friend. He has a short temper, but is also a very mischievous demon. He’s the kind of person to start a game of tag and then get made when he gets tagged. He’s also childish, and loves pulling pranks.

I'M BEING ENABLED PPOVERHEAT
He's an actual grim reaper. That's where he's disappeared to so often in canon, reaper duties. It's a very demanding job, you know.
Doesn't stop him from feeling terrible about being gone so often though. He misses his husband and kids and hates how often he's out of the loop :(
Fr though Phil and the kids make him so so happy after spending countless hours working such a sad job. It's also partially why he sings and makes art. That brand of fun is catharsis for the soul.
He has all his canon weapons but I ALSO gave him a reaper deathscythe. And boy is he gonna use it. Fucking AWOOGA MissaSinfonia when he's angry.
Btw as a reaper he can FEEL souls. He can see their power, their condition, feel the surface level emotions and personality of its owner. This will come in handy later in the fic. ;)
As per the post I made asking for Missa appreciation so I can characterize him properly: He's undyingly loyal, he fights hard and loves even harder, he's protective, silly, and goddamn can he flirt.
All his wet cat behavior is a result of getting too overwhelmed by The Horrors. He's seen A Lot as a reaper. But somehow Quesadilla Island and all its... Everything. Always manage to show him a new brand of What The Fuck he's never even imagined before. Hence all his screaming and weeping when he's caught up on what he's missed. Like how tf else is he supposed to react??
Somewhat attached to that, he and Phil rlly were a match made in Federation Heaven bc they both have issues with self-doubt despite being insanely skilled and sharp-witted. Missa is better abt it than Phil though. His only acts up when he messes up a lot or just. Doesn't have a clue how to handle a situation where it's dire that he does. It's more of an insecurity about being unprepared and failing his loved ones than it is a doubt he has skill. He KNOWS he does, he hates when it's not enough. That's how he differs from Phil, who thinks he has none at all.
Btw when you fuck with the people he's protective over, he gets PISSED. We're getting a LOT of pissed off Missa in AMFMN <3 Ofc there'll be a lot of reaper tears too, his husband is suffering and there's little he can do about it. :( But ohohoho when the sad turns into rage. BARK WOOF. Eventually he decides EK is catching these hands and scythe.
He also shakes hands with his husband on being a self-sacrificing little shit. And. Yeah this is gonna happen later in the fic. (He's not dying dw dw)
You have no idea how excited I am that I basically get to build his dynamics with Fit, Etoiles, and Bagi from scratch. I'm so hyped. People are welcome to reply with this with any crumbs we have of their dynamics in canon but afaik they've rarely interacted outside of very minor moments, so AMFMN will largely be a sandbox for me to establish what I THINK they'd be like. Which in my fic plan so far, is largely taking each character's personality and applying how I think they'd react to a situation, and how that would look when two of them are interacting in that situation. Ex: at one point Etoiles has to comfort Missa bc he's just having a ROUGH time with this saving Phil stuff. But Etoiles is NOT a comfort guy. So he does his Etoiles thing: hearing Missa out while also cracking his usual brand of jokes in an attempt to lighten the mood.
I also have a plot point planned with him and Bagi when shit is hitting the fan the hardest and OUUGHHH. That self-sacrificing shit am I right.
God I'm being so mean to him specifically in AMFMN though. Ender King is a sack of shit, he knows exactly who to harass most using Phil's body >:/
See in my AMFMN Fitza headcanons, I said they're each other's confidants. Which IS true. However, no one in the fic gets the honor of Phil FINALLY communicating with someone about his issues other than his husband. Missa is the person he caves and confesses things to. Missa gets the HC Deity lore and what's been happening to him lately. This is actually what Chapter 3 is :D
Also I am so sorry but I'm sliding a Missa Romantic Love Confession attempt into the fic and it gets interrupted by The Horrors. But yeah Missa is romantically in love with Phil, he just respects that Phil sees things platonically. He still wants to communicate his feelings though.

shout out to the person who ate my last rock au post like a snake i made four more
aheemheem lore under the cut
ranboo as a snowflake obsidian is obvious, we never had a choice fr. i like to imagine that snowflake obsidians are very rare(having incredible terrakinesis abilities in a society of rock people is not something that should come in large numbers) so when he just randomly appeared on the rebel planet it was quite a shock. he literally came out of nowhere and doesnt even remember his own origins and not even the most historically inclined of them can figure out what those red and green insignias are.
for some reason i was REARING to add sam as SOON as possible so hes a mossy agate. he was assigned to a newer colony close to the lmanburg planet(name still pending) and was in charge of overseeing the construction of important structures; he grew very fond of the building and aided his workers a little more than he was probably allowed but nobody really stopped him. he worked alongside bad(black opal), antfrost(tigers eye), and ponk(clinohumite) and we will get to them. eventually. because of his proximity to the rebels, he'd grown pretty attached to that silly little rutile and offered him protection if ever he needed it. he never fully removes himself from homeworld, he doesnt really have a reason to, but he does offer help from behind the scenes on occasion. he still builds for them, particularly the prison which is sort of like the human zoo in canon in that it is a station floating around up there as opposed to being on a planet. also sam nook is his pearl that he asks to go check on tommy and hang out with him when he cant be there in person
i am going to be so incredibly honest i dont think ive written down any quackity lore i just really wanted to draw him. i think he was just pretty chill doing stuff for homeworld but then he heard about these rebels and was like. uhm bye i wanna know whats going on over there. i feel like his lore is so well understood and hes an established canon gem type so i dont have to do a lot of work for him hes already the perfect boy
as stated before, tubbo is a nephrite who had a lot of time to hang out with tommy before they all ran off to lmanplanet. he worked one station above tommy, but he wasnt a captain. i dont have much written for tubbo either, but it is safe to say that snowchester is on the moon and the fur is completely cosmetic.
These little character bits are mostly backstory unfortunately Tubbo and Quackity's lore happens on screen so I don't have much for them
I would love to explore their arcs in this au tho but y'all gotta wait

Introducing myself
Well this feels awkward •ᴗ•
I rarely make posts like these on any website but hey I gotta start somewhere, and having a blog was something that always interested me. Be it a hobby or something I can professionaly work with. And I do love yapping. So that's a big plus
Not but fr, who am I you might ask? Why am I introducing myself to the tumblr void?
Truth be told I am a silly little writer. Currently I post on A03 since I am hyperfixated on Genshin Impact, and I love love love writing. In fact I have wrote a couple of series now. Word count can reach up to 150k words. Crazy stuff.
Here are some fics I wrote that you might recognize or enjoy if you feel like looking into them!
A Puppet's Heart series
A series of 3 main books and one extra short fic, focused on Scaramouche x reader, sprinkle of Cynonari, and exploring friendships/tension between Wanderer, Cyno, Collei and Tighnari

The Ghost of Inazuma
A standalone fic, focused on Kazuha x Kazuha's friend (Tomo) and detective Heziou. In this one Kazuha has a side-hustle as an assassin and things get very heated when the Tenryou comission starts hunting him down. Heizou is among them, of course, as a lead detective

Ambush and Revenge
A short whump fic centered around Heizou and the dangers of his job. He gets ambushed and hurt, and explores a bit of Heizou's friendship with Kujou Sara

Murder and Drama - A Midnight Case
A short detective fic about Heizou and the Arataki Gang, mostly focused on humor (wow me not writing hardcore angst?? shocker). The Arataki Gang gets framed for murder and Heizou has to solve the case with Itto's brilliant help (Itto lies when he is nervous).

In conclusion
As you can see I write a lot and yapp a lot, and if you enjoy my writing feel free to follow my tumblr blog. I want to write more and am thinking about opening comissions. I generally have a lot of ideas/headcannons and thoughts to share about Genshin and their characters, even if its not related to my fics. woe. peter vi thoughts be upon ye
he’s a lil silly guy i love him a lot
should i format this better? yeah. am i going to? absolutely not
these are very rushed and rambly because i’m doing them instead of getting ready for work
i’m a member of the “peter vi has bad back/joint problems” club. just bc it makes sense?? and i have bad knees and a bad elbow so he’s like me fr :3 i also feel like he has migraines. he’s just not having a good time he’s like the embodiment of “fuck it we ball”
autism + adhd combo. (just like me fr) he likes fidget toys bc they help him focus and also totally has a collection of plushies. just because. he’s not really ashamed of having ‘childish’ interests because they make him happy and that’s really all that matters to him. to go along with this he gets overwhelmed & overstimulated pretty easy. just because my guy has a tendency to overwork and forgets to eat & sleep at normal times. he’s just a. guy
idk if this has been made a thing but! i think about his mask a whole lot. like yeah sure it’s for Hiding Face purposes in my mind but also. i think his eyesight is pretty bad, and thanks to some fun science shit the mask helps him see better. it also somehow helps with headaches and all that. i don’t know how or why it just Does
he’s normally a very. chill and happy guy. like if he gets stressed or upset most people that don’t know him too well don’t see that. if you’ve known him for as long as some people have, you can tell.
he will Absolutely defend people when they need him to though. i have this random hc that the walters all have some knowledge of self defense.
he’s a pretty scrawny guy but strong enough that he can lift heavy stuff, but also can absolutely bowl someone under the table. he doesn’t like fighting but. he so will if he has to. this came from him beating people up in some of my oc’s lore :3 he will Attack if you hurt his family. he so will
obviously he’s So Smart. but also is such a Dumbass at the same time. he’s just silly. does scientific miracles but can’t remember his phone number
bro sleeptalks. not in a cryptic “we’re all gonna die” way but in the silly “did i just wheat??” kind of way. he just Says Shit in his sleep and has no recollection of it

I may be interested in watching Trigun, but I have doubts cuz I see there's a 1998 anime and a current one so, I should watch both to understand the plot or is it a FMAB situation???
oooooohhhohohooho *rubs my hands together* >:] okay
it is KIND OF a fmab situation but also not and all,, the trigun 98 anime was airing alongside the manga and then ended before the manga finished so it had to improvise a lot about the ending and thusly (from what i know, i have not read the manga yet) ends differently than the original manga and does not explain a lot about the plot and villains,,, i haven't seen the original fma anime yet so i don't know how deep the comparison goes but they seem like they have the same case
and the stampede is, yes, a later rerelease of the story that can only exist since the manga has been finished,, but from my impression !!! it is STARKLY different in some aspects to that of the manga's plotline and pacing, which is a very different case to fmab which is a truer adaptation that follows the original manga's plotline
SO neither of the animes will give you the truest understanding of the manga's story (also there's 2 mangas, trigun and trigun maximum and im not fully aware of the differences between them, again, haven't read them yet) that's why i'd recommend watching both of 98 and stampede!! which is what ive done, if you don't wanna do that then ill give you a rundown of the differences so you can pick which seems more interesting to you
trigun 1998 begins the same way the manga does and does all its reveals and like, early story stuff the same way the manga does (I THINK,, AGAIN, HAVE NOT READ THE MANGA) the tone of the anime also matches the manga, i think, and that may not seem like something that's super important,, but it has a lot of a funny goofy silly moments and mystery !!! that i feel add a LOT to the experience of the story that stampede just doesn't have cause of it's shorter runtime, the characterization of the main cast is i also think way closer to the manga and (in my opinion) way more fun and likable than stampede JDGDHFJ
stampede is very different from the original storyline (again,, i will reiterate,, my impression of it cause idk exactly how different 98 is to the manga but im sure 98 is much more similar than stampede is to the manga) it begins, runs, and the season ends very differently to how 98, and manga, i think, does the story,,, it switches out set pieces, characters, and plotlines,, BUT it really gets into the lore and villains in a much deeper way than what trigun 98 does, it actually explains shit and includes plotlines that the 98 anime just could not include which makes it really intriguing and more dramatic
enough about the plot and more into my personal opinions,,, trigun 98 is super fun and silly and has a lot better of an introduction and characterization of the main cast than stampede does. 98 has a better intro to the story and world than stampede does beCAUSE stampede is only 12 episodes and rushes through a lot of the beginning for the sake of getting to the plot and lore, but stampede has a much stronger ending and a deeper exploration of the main characters and villains than 98 because it actually has the resources from the manga to pull from
that's why i think that if you wanted to watch both you should start with 98 first because it's got a better beginning and set up for the story's main themes and messages than stampede does, but stampede then delves into those themes l messages, and villains! that 98 didn't have a chance to explore to their fullest
this is also why id recommend you read the manga as well cause there's a lot that is still missing from the entire trigun story that neither anime will explain to you (we'll see what stampede season 2 has to offer but that's a ways a way)
WHOO THAT WAS A LONG FUCKING ASK IM SORRY DHDHJFJGG but i hope it gives you some insight on how to approach getting into it!
TLDR: the 98 anime and stampede are both different from the manga in different ways so id recommend you watch both of them, 98 first and then stampede, but also read the manga :)

My 5k word essay on why I like bringing pain and suffering to the two idiots I love dearly (A thesis)
[alternative title being: me ranting abt jipunk for 2 hours straight im kiddingg]
So like
At this point I'm pretty sure most people can tell I enjoy pulling angst out of nowhere for absolutely NO reason necessary other than pain heeheehaahaa well it ain't gonna stop 😁 CAUSE TRUST THAT I will make sure every au I ever make of these two end in numbingly tragic angst one way or the other 🦅 jkjk they won't all be that bad it'll just have varying degrees of sadness
Anyways
I actually do have a reason for never giving them a happy (canonical or implied) happy ending ☝️ the thing abt me is every detail or like choice I make in character design/relationship/etc is that it's always intentional (most of the time) like there's always some kind of corny reason behind it bc I'm jwndkwjd insane and just think too hard abt two characters that don't even exist.
So like so like
I am an absolute loser for tropes like 'in another life' or 'in every life' or just anything among those lines. Like genuinely it does smth irreparable to my brain it's not even funny.
And basically the thought process for jipunk was like they're LITERALLY from different universes which quite literally means they can't end up together bc it's just not possible. But tbh the whole multiverse logic and how it works is up to interpretation cause y'know it's just a movie but personally I see it as smth pretty impossible for lore sake and stuff HAHSHA
So because the 'original' jipunk (atsv versions) can't end up together, I decided to go and think
"HMM."
"WHAT IF THEY ARE THE EPITOME OF 'ill find you in every universe" BUT EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM END IN THE SAME WAY (never ending up tgt)"
Cause for the different au's each of them is technically a different reincarnate in different worlds with different lives.
And like going back to when I said varying levels of sadness: what I meant was in some aus they'll be literally universes apart (which in itself is already sad asf) but in other aus they could live in the same world but their lives are like perpendicular lines because they'll meet and then never cross paths again (BECAUSE this is what their fate is supposed to be if we base it off their atsv counter parts: they were never meant to be bc they're from different universes)
