the press didn’t know why people loved you two together so much, you two were total opposites. you were a award winning actress and steve-o threw up fishes into fish bowls.

everyone always made sure to pay attention to you two when on a red carpet for an event, all the camera immediately flashing your guys way when you two arrived.

steve-o loved how he got to show you off during events. his arm placed around your waist as he flashed a smile, you would smile next to him as you brought your body closer to his. you loved seeing all the photos of you pressed closely against him in magazines, it let everyone know how you were his girlfriend.

but interviewers had to take note that if steve-o was even dared to be mentioned in an interview that you would happily talk about him for the rest of the time.

@plainemmanem inspired me for this fic

You were looking for your boyfriend at another one of those stupid house parties.

Usually Steve stayed at least partially sober. But this morning he has a big fight with his dad, and you offered to drive.

So, you found a wasted Steve giggling while being supported by an annoyed Tommy.

"There she is, thank God," he mumbled, "Do you need help carrying him out?"

"No, " you reply and you pull your boyfriend into you by the waist.

as you walk a very wasted Steve out to the car he starts playing with your hair.

"You's predy," he mumbles sniffing your hair.

You open the door and shove your intoxicated boyfriend inside before going around to the driver's side.

You decide this would be a good time for alsing those type of questions he usually refused to answer.

"What's your middle name?" You ask. He looks at you and smiles.

"I have two, which is more than you," he starts giggling. "And I'm not telling,"

"if you don't tell me then I win, need some proof," your boyfriend pouts at that response.

"My full, uh, name yeah name," he stutters, "Is steve Ruth Eisenhower Harrington," he starts giggling. Again. He then passed out after laughing for a few more minutes.

** Steve woke up the next morning hung over and unaware of what you told him**

It had been two years since the party, Steve had sobered up after taking in the Party. And you had yet to use his middle name.

It was after Watergate, Steve had dive in. You had a longer breath capacity but he didn't care.

You back at his house stitching wounds.

"Babe you look mad," he says in an attempt to calm you.

"Not mad," you all but growl at him.

You continue to stitch his side, he groans in pain.

"You do look mad," Steve says again.

"STEVE RUTH EISENHOWER HARRINGTON," you yell, "IF YOU DONT STOP ASKING ME IF I AM MAD I WILL BE,"

"H.. how did you know? " He questions looking confused as ever as you move to work on his face.

"You got wasted two years ago, I've been waiting for the right time to tell you," you say as you apply antiseptic to his forehead.

"Okay so I'm assuming president Eisenhower, but Ruth?" You ask.

"That is my grandma's name, and please don't tell anybody, baby," he pleads. He places a kiss on your wrist as you move to work on his cheek.

"Please. Steve, I can't handle this," you say.

Steve sighs, "I-I just couldn't.. send you down there,"

"But you had to go, if I had went the vine thing probably wouldn't of happened, I'm a father swimmer. You know this, but you still went," you tell him what you were thinking.

He winces as you finish dabbing the wound.

"Look, I have to protect the one thing I can't lose. That's you, I love you. But I'm not going to stop," he says.

"Then don't expect me to either, and I love you, Steve Ruth Eisenhower Harrington," you say. You start to wrap his neck in gauze.

"Babe," he groans as he rests his head against your arm. "please don't call me that,"

"Me or Dustin,"

"You, asshole," he mocks.

You sigh as you finish with his wounds

He places a soft kiss on your lips, he tries to deepen it but you don't allow it. He pouts as you stop.

"You are not getting any action, you have stitches," you warn as you sit next to him.

"Fine, but you could give me head," he reminds

You smack his arm, "Already trying to get me in your pants, we had sex this morning,"

"Always,"

I have no idea how to write a/b/o, but I have so many interesting ideas for it when it comes to steddie. But there are so many rules but also somehow it’s lawless? And those who can write it terrify me but like in a good way? Because there are so many ways it can go wrong, and just be so terrible but when it’s done right it will be the most heart-stopping, glorious fic you will ever read. I think it’s hard to write too because everyone has different arguments on how it should work/the dynamics of it all.

Doodles n Drives

Female jackass (og) member

Trips to and from set are always pretty hectic epecially when you get stuck in a van with Steveo and Bam. Steve and Bam are always the cause of chaos on these trips, Steveo somehow breaking something or generally just tearing up the crew van and Bam punching you and Ry purely out of boredom. Today was no different other than today the location Jeff wanted to film at was like 2 hours away from the hotel you were staying in. You climb into the very back row of the van headphones on absently doodling on your jeans waiting for the rest of the guys to load up. Ryan and Bam piled into the row in front of you meanwhile Knox was driving with Pontius in the passenger seat and Steveo in the row in front of Bam. 10 mins in Bam leans over the seat probably plotting to nail you on the shoulder with a well timed punch but immediately forgets about that when he sees your jeans. "Hey can I draw on you too?" You shrug and hand him one of your other sharpies honestly completely out of ideas yourself. He climbs over the seat and sits with your legs in his lap with one of your earbuds in finally quiet for the first time in the ride. He had claimed the left pant leg as his canvas doodling intricate heartagrams and the cky and gnarkill logos along with other obvious spooky Bam doodles. After a while Steveo gets bored and climbs into the seat Bam was in and leans over the seat asking for your lighter, "What that looks fun make some room." He tumbles over the seat landing on his head in the floorboard at Bam's feet. He sits in the floor of the van and grabs another permanent marker and starts doodling too. Eventually Knox gets concerned with the silence in the van and yells, "anytime you guys are this quiet you did something so spill it." You look over the seat meeting his gaze in the rear view mirror, "they saw me drawing on my pants and got excited so I let them draw too." The rest of the trip Ryan is sleeping and you're laying across the seat as Steveo and Bam cover your dirty jeans with artwork and chainsmoke cigarettes. By the time you arrive on set they were covered front and back. Honestly you're just glad they didn't draw any dicks on your pants during a filming day and the rest of the crew in your van is grateful for the boys not being unbearable for once. After filming the ride home goes pretty similar and it just becomes a tradition, sometimes even the others join in. At this point you have so many pairs of jeans just covered in drawings from your cast mates, you even have a pair that the cky crew covered and let's be real those are rightfully your favorite.

Keeping The Relationship A Secret HC

a/n: So basically in my twisted mind, I wanna see how they would try and keep your guy's relationship a secret, why its kept a secret, and how long it takes for everyone to find out. If you have anything you'd want me to write, go ahead and ask!

Johnny

I feel like you’d both be in agreement that you want the relationship to be a secret because of the fan base and how crazy people are for him.

I mean look at him, of course people easily go crazy over him.

But this also means keeping it on the down low and away from the shows and movies, which was difficult for the both of you.

He liked constantly touching you, having an arm wrapped around your shoulders, holding your hand, etc. His love language is physical touch so it definitely took a toll on him.

But once the cameras were off he’d be all over you, making sure you were basically part of him, never letting you go.

You both kept it hidden for years, eventually just growing accustomed to hiding it whenever filming was going on which would only be a few months at a time.

It helped that you moved in with him eventually.

After years of social media becoming a big thing and him proposing to you on a beach at sunset which was really a sight to see you

You posted a picture on Instagram one day, no caption, just you about to cry, looking at him on one knee with the biggest smile on his face.

Of course everyone would freak out but you both were just glad that you finally had it off your chests.

Bam

You both would’ve definitely gotten together after a disagreement

Like an enemies to lovers trope

You both just wanted to keep it from the crew for as long as you could though.

So. Many. Excuses. To be ALONE. Just to do what adults do

He’d risk everyone finding out just to kiss your cheek. Chris would ask why your face is so red and you’d have to lie and tell him that you think you’re coming down with a cold.

The fake cough would really sell it.

Only a few days later you’d really come down with a cold and, obviously Bam would too.

You were all in the middle of filming the movie so a completely separate hotel room to quarantine the both of you was a must. Jeff didn’t want to risk anyone else getting sick and getting more behind on filming.

I think Ryan would be the first one to find out, coming into the room with soup for the both of you, only to find you both asleep, cuddling with each other.

He’d take a picture for when you both got better.

When the three of you are in the peanut gallery, watching Chris doing yet another skit with his little Pontius, Ryan would just pull out the picture, showing the both of you.

Your face would turn red with just the thought of Ryan catching both of you.

I think Bam would be more along the lines of pissed at himself that he forgot to tell his own best friend about this happening.

After that you’d both move on with your relationship, acting as though everyone already knew and they were all just oblivious.

Steve-O

You both have been together for as long as anyone could remember, being off and on and very rocky at first just because of your vastly different lifestyles, but eventually you both got together for good.

You both just didn’t make your relationship public. It’s not that it was necessarily hidden, you both just didn’t have an interest in being open about it.

Your guys relationship was more unique than anyone else’s in the cast. He’d act like this complete jackass on camera, doing so much dumb shit and not have a second thought about it but then when he was with you, he’d be sweet and gentle, making sure to always say sorry and thank you.

The way everyone would find out, the crew already knew, it was just the people outside of your guys friends and family that didn’t, would be that you both post pictures while on vacation, just of the scenery at first.

After a few days you’d post a picture of him butt naked standing in front of your hotel window from behind. Ass in full view, just completely forgetting that you both never posted about your relationship.

Going to bed that night and the next few following nights was somewhat of a challenge considering your phones were just blowing up with messages, dm’s, tags, everything.

You wouldn’t have it any other way though.

You met Steve-o at a party for sure

He caught your eye when he was doing some dumb party trick.

Probably a shot trick or maybe a backflip

When you told him how sick his random party trick was he got flustered when you complimented him cause he thought you were so pretty

Like why weren't you talking to Bam or Knoxville?!

You two quickly clicked since you both were drunk and had liquid courage

Steve-o even building up the guts to ask you on a date

When you said yes he probably bragged to all the guys

"Dud you won't believe it! That hot girl from the bar said yes to going out with me!"

"What? No way!"

Steve-o freaked out a bit because he didn't realize he didn't really have the money to take you out on a proper date because this was when he first started Jackass and the money wasn't exactly rolling in..

But you didn't mind at all, which made Steve-o only fall for you more

Steve-o ended up taking you out to get ice cream then to the skatepark near a beach where you two just hung out

But the next day when Johnny came over unannounced he was shocked to see Steve-o's apartment actually almost spot less

"Hey Steve- Oh my god! It's clean! The sink hole is really clean!"

But when he saw you sitting on the couch in one of Steve-o's t-shirts and no visible pants he quickly knew what was going on

Johnny was happy that Steve-o was serious about you (unlike his past relationships) because he thought you were a real nice girl

When you met the rest of the guys you clicked well with all of them which is all Steve-o could've asked for

And when Steve-o was on set filming a stunt and you were there he would go all out to try and impress you.

He would always ask if you saw what he did after he finished his stunt

"Yn! Did you see that?"

"Oh no I didn't. Sorry Steve I'll rewatch the footage-"

"No! I'll do it again! Jeff I'm doing it again!"

This made Jeff love having you on set, so much good footage came out of Steve-o when you were there

Steve-o probably isn't big on PDA but he defiantly gives you big kisses on the cheeks and little hugs

But out of public Steve-o loves touching you

His favorite thing is you laying on his chest and he gets to play with your hair

And kisses, no matter where on your body

I feel like Steve-o is protective but not super protective

But if he gets jealous enough he will get violent

It probably had happened at one or two bars where a guy flirts with you and Steve-o has had too many drinks and doesn't use his words and just swings

Chris jumps in for sure

"Chris why the hell did you even jump in?! You made it worse for everyone and we are banned from that bar!"

"Well I saw Steve-o punching and it looked fun."

Steve-o probably apologizes for little things he does because he doesn't want you to be mad with him

It's like his worse fear :(

When you two do fight Steve-o might be intense at first but then once you start crying he gets SO UPSET with himself

Like he is going through the 5 stages of grief over it

Probably will apologize for the next month cause he thinks you hate him

"I'm sorry for being such an asshole a few weeks ago Yn."

"Steve, honey, that was like two months ago I'm over it you don't need to apologize."

I think that if you're feeling insecure one day you better believe Steve-o is praising you so much

"Steve I look so ugly today :("

"What?! Are we looking at the same person you see in the mirror?! You look so good all the time babe!"

He defiantly showers you in compliments 10x more that whole day which makes you feel so much better

"You look so pretty from this angle."

"Your eyes are beautiful."

"How did I get so lucky with such a great girl like you?"

But overall Steve-o treats you like a queen because it's what you deserve

He loves you more than life itself :,)

all pony could hear was your heartbeat, thumping loudly against his ear as he rested his head on your chest.

your fingers found their way into his hair, tangling themselves in a sea of brunet, his hair not greased per your request.

you always liked when ponyboy had his hair with no grease, just wanting to play with it and twirl the little curls that would form around his forehead.

his arms were wrapped around your midriff, squeezing occasionally as he dozed off, producing small hums in the process.

you leaned your head against pony’s pillow. the soft material feeling like heaven once your head had hit it, you looked down at pony and saw his eyes trained on you, his head lifted now.

his big brown eyes were glossy and half lidded with sleep. you desperately fought your closing eyes in order to admire ponyboy some more, before you two heard his bedroom door open and a whistle appear in the doorway. pony’s face went white.

“woah, ponyboy! didn’t know you was gettin’ it on in here!” steve said with sodapop laughing right behind him.

you rolled your eyes as pony threw himself off of you, his face turning a cherry red when the boys shouted and whooped.

but your heart absolutely dropped once you hear the heavy, solid footsteps coming down the hallway into pony’s room.

you practically shit yourself seeing darry stand in the doorway, smacking soda and steve on the back of their necks and nagging at them to retreat.

“c’mon, give ‘em space.” he said, pushing them away a bit. steve grumbled as he staggered away, soda hot on his heels. darry turned to the both of you, raising his eyebrows and pointing his finger in a warning manner, before leaving the door cracked and going back to the living room.

you’re convinced your heart palpitated for a moment, but once you looked at pony, you laughed. you pushed your hair back as pony awkwardly looked around and gave you a half-hearted chuckle, his cheeks dusted a still red.

these small moments, although embarrassing, were the ones you cherished most with ponyboy.
