Energy vampires want you to stay a chaotic train wreck, so they get their supply of emotional charge, cheap thrills, gossip, submissiveness, ego stroking, biochemical hits while dragging you into their own hell for company.

Being drained around energy vampires isn't calming down, it's due to fatigue and deflation for being around someone who feed on your life force.

Energy vampires are like vultures, they feed on the carcasses of people in despair, vulnerable people like women and children, the sick and the old.

Do you find it hard to strike a balance? Too much out out and you feel the need to run and hide! Feeling the expectations of others and the need to set boundaries but it's hard to say no?

Feeling like you're weird and different to everyone else?

As HSPs and Introverts we are like the the Seers and Artists.

The Seers would live at the edge of the village (or up a hill - I literally have woman on the hill in my human design 😂 ). Spending time in solitude, channelling, downloading information and insights and then bringing this down to the community, helping people and being in the community and then retreating back to solitude again....

The Seer would need solitude to be able to fulfil their purpose...

Same with the Artist, receiving inspirational downloads and channeling them into art and creative pursuits which then serve a purpose for the wider world and community, bringing out the masterpiece when it is ready, then retreating back to create and the cycle starts again...

What if we were to see ourselves as Seers and Artists? To see that the recharge time we are craving is part of our mission here on this planet, to see that you are not weird or different but you have beautiful gifts which need to be shared with the world. In fact you're doing a disservice to the world if you're not listening to this call to come inwards.

My concern is that with the hyper focused awareness on connection and community being super important for wellbeing (which it is of course) is that it pushes us as Seers and Artists out into the world where we try and 'fit in' instead of shining our light in our gentle unique way. I'm sure you can resonate with your own need for connection and community and what this balance looks like for you.

This morning I was contacted by someone who watched my TEDx I did in 2019, she said the analogy of the tree had been resonating with her all day.

For many years I didn't speak my truth, I'd been bullied several times as a child and even as an adult in my corporate career.

I took on the belief that truth speaking meant there may be conflict...

Did sometimes people come to me with alternative opinions? Yes

And I respected these opinions too, everyone has a right to their opinions but what I trained myself to do was to not see it as a threat and start to worry (old me) or start to get into a debate! Some people love a debate but I'm a lover not a fighter...

And the right people hear me, I get clients saying all the time 'This sounds like me' 'Thank you for giving me permission to be me' 'Wow this is magic' etc etc..

I promise you, speak your truth and the right people will hear you.

Feel the feelings come up, do shadow work if needed and speak your truth anyway, your clients and tribe will thank you for it ❤
