I noticed a few similarities between Crowley and Job. Job lost everything he had just for God to win a bet. He had done nothing wrong, yet suffered. Crowley (Angel Crowley) fell not because he hated God, humans, wanted war and pain and suffering and so on... no, he fell for asking questions. He lost his stars, his eyes, his holiness and his Aziraphale
We saw that Job also asked questions... he wasn't given answers but after his conversation with God he still believed God did the right thing. Crowley doesn't get any answers nor acknowledgment as Job did, no he still, and rightfully so, questions God's power and will and knowledge and morality... Later, in season 2, Crowley is given a chance to become an angel once again (like Job did to get his earthly belongings and double that) BUT the important similarity I see is that neither of them cared about the status or goats or stars (I know this is a headcanon) as long as they have their children/Aziraphale. Job gets his old children back and has his happy ending. Crowley already has Aziraphale, they can be together now... giving Crowley no reason to be an angel, to want to be an angel. He has the love of his life until he is taken by Heaven... by God...

Is there a label for when you are mostly verbal but occasionally can't speak? I don't want to commandeer semi or nonverbal and at the same time I want a word for my experience (I've also seen a lot of other people with this experience)

“ There's no point standing around
You'll only be showered by more boulders
Ready your horses on the double
Be honest, are all of us riding to our death?
Yes, we are
And since we're dying anyway, you're saying that it's better?
Before we even start fighting?
I am
But wait, if we'll die anyway, then who cares what we do?
We could just disobey your orders
And it wouldn't mean a thing, would it?
Yes, you're precisely right
Everything that you thought had meaning
Every hope, dream or moment of happiness
None of it matters as you lie bleeding out on the battlefield
None of it changes what a speeding rock does to a body
We all die, but does that mean our lives are meaningless?
Does that mean that there was no point being born?
Would you say that about slain comrades?
What about their lives?
Were they meaningless?
They were not
Their memory serves as an example to us all
The courageous fallen, the anguished fallen
Their lives have meaning because
We the living, refused to forget them
And as we ride to certain death
We trust our successors to do the same for us
Because my soldiers do not fumble
Or yield when faced with the cruelty of this world
My soldiers push forward
My soldiers scream out
My soldiers rage. „

Random Share Time! There's a fun little thing called the "Chameleon Effect". This is a subconscious mimicry of someone's mannerisms, the way they hold themselves, even the way they talk. If I speak to someone with an accent for an extended time, I can't help but start to mimic their accent. This isn't an uncommon thing, but I also tend to accentually copy people's speech impediments as well. I copy my roommate's a lot, and even used to pick up an old co-worker's stutter. Funny thing is, I have yet to run across someone who gets upset at me for this. Most of the time people start laying it on thicker to try to get me to copy them more 😆

Burning our book is not a thing that can destroy us , it's a chance to let others know more about it .
It's not a book you can burn , it's a lifestyle we live and memorise in our minds and hearts .

People act like they know what people are going through and try to tell them what will happen if they continue doing certain things no you don’t know and I’m here to say that if you S.H and if helps you get through tough situations then, by all means, keep doing it I’m not saying that I agree with it but if it helps then do it and if you need someone that will listen and talk to you hmu so stop putting people down that S.H they are doing it for a good damn reason and who are you to take that escape away from them
