hello! it’s that time again i try to sell myself as a potential writing partner. i have written these in the past and been successful in occasionally finding roleplay partners who are interested in the same sorts of things as me. so i am looking for people who want to world build with me. i really like discussing plots, headcanons, and anything that can make me understand your muse better! i love sharing memes, drabbles, not roleplaying linearly and tossing around multiple threads! i don't need many people to write with but i really prefer to have a handful of people who i know well, am invested in their muses/feel super comfortable with my knowledge of their muses & pingpong my annoying ideas at them easily.

i tend to write lengthier things but i am okay with any length as long as it’s not one-liners! i also have zero interest in writing with someone who i will only have one thread with and never speak to again. 💀 i just rather focus on threads that will grow outside of just one single reaction! i like to think i am pretty easy to toss shit around with but i am a little shy so sometimes it takes a while for the ball to start rolling but once it is i am full-sending that shit.

so if you’re interested please GIVE THIS A LIKE and I WILL APPROACH YOU after i check out your muses/rules, if i haven't gotten around to it already! i am 100% gonna write the starter for whatever we come up with! i just ask if i take the time to write the starter that you reply to it at least once. failure to do so will result in me soft blocking since it happens so often and is super discouraging (and a waste of my time tbh). that might seem harsh but we could always write together when you do have the time or availability to reply.

CHARACTERIZATION: i exist in extremities. i like writing really bad villains with zero remorse or softer characters with a more righteous morality. i enjoy writing against almost everything. i am open to exploring most things and you can find out more extensively my habits through my rules.

Short version: They are perfect counterparts. They are the same where it matters, but opposites in a way where they can complete each other and mellow out each other's worst traits. They also bicker like an old married couple and I love it-

[Yeah I changed the Baron design a bit to fit those lovely HeroForge pics of Baron better that an anon sent me. Nef is wearing a red cravat to show off that he belongs Baron now, it's the little things how he shows affection- Also grabbed myself a new CSP brush ([AA] Ink BrushContent ID：1736762) and it's hella nice for more chunky line art .]

Long Version: Them calling each other their "insufferable counterpart" is still from old roleplays I did ages ago (I was roleplaying as Nef) and it still makes my shipper heart weak. It's so perfect for them as it doesn't only show off their constant affectionate bickering but also pretty much spells out the appeal of the ship: they are counterparts that perfectly complete each other from personality to fighting style.

They are the same where it matters: fighting for the same goal, serving the same gods, both highly intelligent and capable, equals in rank and competence.

But opposites where they can complete each other and mellow out each other's worst traits. Baron is usually a stick in the mud, but Nef makes him loosen up and be more sociable. He's able to relax and laugh with him. Meanwhile, Baron makes Nef chill out on the being-an-evil-little-shit aspect of his personality. He isn't as needlessly cruel and does show mercy (usually in form of a quick kill) when Baron is around. While he revels in the cruelty of war he knows the things they have to do burden Baron more than he lets on. So he'd rather take over the dirty work and let Barontake the role of the honourable, brave general he was always meant to be. He does love that about Baron after all, his honour. It's such a rare thing in the upper echelons of the church filled with socialites that neither Nefarian nor Mevolent truly trust. But Baron? You can trust him, you can rely on him and Nefarian appreciates such a rare quality that of course must be fully indulge in, that lovely man is his now-

Baron is a little too trusting of his fellow zealots *coughdiableriecough*, but Nef makes up for it by being twice as distrusting. No one dares backstab Baron while Nef is there, and if they try anyway, Nef will teach them a lesson before they get anywhere close to Baron. Meanwhile, Nef is getting emotional support from Baron he can't get anywhere else. He's probably the only one around who cares about him and his well-being. Enough so to try and softly guide him away from his bad habits: alcohol, sex, cigarettes and overworking. Baron is Nef's rock in the storm and the healthiest relationship he can have even if it's not the healthiest Baron can have. He knows Baron deserves better than him, but Nef has always been a selfish man...

On the battlefield, Baron is one of the strongest fighter, a skilled and incredible fast swordsman. Since Nef is a glass canon and relies heavily on magic, I headcanon he prefers ranged attacks. Fighting them together must be an impossible task (think Ornstein and Smough from Dark Souls).

But since I love the drama™ how they went from rivals to soulmates it the most interesting part to me.

Nef took an interest in Baron first. He knew him through his friendship with China, Baron's boss, and thought him to be quite physically attractive, but grew intrigued about him when China told him about his personality and found out that he and Eliza had been dating. Nef gathers intel about everyone who rises to the upper ranks but it's rare for him to be fascinated by a specimen.

Meanwhile, Baron absolutely despised Nef. He didn't like that a convert was Mev's right-hand man, especially one that didn't seem particularly pious. Someone of old blood, someone of Baron's own heritage would be a much better fit for that position. Add to that that he's in the beginning still in denial about being gay yet out of all people he ends up being attracted to Nefarian. As if it wasn't bad enough that Nef is quite an attractive man, he also thought it was absolutely hilarious to flirt and tease Baron every chance he got. And that was driving Baron mad in more ways than one.

Essentially the dynamic from the tweet below 👇 Nef loves being a lil shit and Baron is making it too easy lmao

Here is my fic about their first kiss .3.

Essentially their relationship went from rivals to Nef teasing Baron until it ends in hatefucking, Baron slowly realising that Nef actually has feelings for him and isn't just using him to get off and finally (when Baron becomes the second general) learning to appreciate each other when Baron realizes Nef is just as devoted as him and him 'slacking off' is the result of Mev completely over working Nef.

10. Would you be friends with your muse if they were real?

Way too many muses to answer this for all of them so I'll do it for the two top primaries.

For Mole? No. I don't think I would be friends with him. He'd be difficult to talk to period and as much as I love writing him people with his personality type tend to piss me off. So I don't think I'd actually like him much if he were real.

For Herbert? Probably. Herbert isn't difficult to make friends with. He's a polite fella, a nice fella. He can probably be annoying through talking to much but that isn't a big deal. He doesn't seem difficult to get along with if he were real.

16. Favourite trope?

I actually have a few I really enjoy but no exact favorite per se. The "soulmate au" trope. It's fun to me to write it romantically but especially platonically, such as for friends or found family. I think it's really neat to have an au where you will eventually find someone who's meant to be with you, romantically or platonically. I also love "monster au"s. They're just fun to mess around with no matter what. If just a few muses are a monster in the universe, if it's a universe where monsters live normally with humans, if there's monster hunters, just whatever. Then also the elegant party / ball / masquerade plot trope. I especially used to love the "murder mystery masquerade" that could come with those as I used to host roleplay events relating to that specific trope a fair amount. Also I love the "wild west au" trope. Love me some yeehaw cowboys. It's why I have an RDR2 muse and have been trying slowly add SPPD Adv. verses to my SP muses that I can add it to.

Who are your longest rp friends? The people who have known me the longest are @infintasmal , @orecrowned , & @eraba-reta-unmei ! Met all these weenie's during my Magi days hehe

Favourite thing about roleplaying? I love being able to build up worlds and dynamics with other people. It does wonders to my mental health honestly. It also helps my creative juices come out.

Least favourite thing about roleplaying? The creation of drama over something so small. Like I need people to learn to communicate better if not just block and move on. Don't make a mountain out of an ant hill.

OTP for your muse? My biggest on this blog is MaoRitsu, which Elio is subjected to on a daily lolol. A new one is JingHeng

NOTP for your muse? I wouldn't say I have NOTP's just more of please don't be gross lol

What are some similarities between you and your muse/muses? This one works with Ritsu the best but I'm also a chronically ill person who struggles with old deep rooted abandonment issues. But therapy really does wonders haha. Also according to the internet Jing Yuan and I have the same Personality type same with Rei LOL

What are some differences between you and your muse/muses? I'm too self conscious to be clingy JFIOWFEJ

Would you be friends with your muse if they were real? Jing Yuan & Himeko 100%

Would you write with duplicate characters? How do you think your muse would react? I love writing with duplicates! As for how they would react- it would really vary. I don't think Ritsu would like too see another him stealing his Maa-kun's attention.

Have you any old muses that you’d love to bring back? I've been considering Judal from Magi!

What’s one random headcanon about your muse that people mightn’t know? Jing Yuan enjoys having his hair played with. It relaxes him enough to fall asleep.

Who is an author that inspires you? Rick Riordan! I grew up on a lot of his books.

What do you look for in a rp partner? Someone who is willing to listen and participate with my brain rot. I tend to be more invested when people talk to me about our muses.

Favourite trope? You'll see the trend but Childhood Friends to Lovers.

Least favourite trope? There's not a specific one, but I get uncomfortable with the uh...weird ones.

Are there any AU’s you’d like to explore but haven’t had the chance to yet? Honestly I've done so many au's you don't even know-. But I'll always do Royalty, Single Parent, & Soulmate.

Do you listen to music whilst writing? If so, what kind of music? I do! I usually listen to MafuMafu soundtracks. If not him then character specific playlists I make.

How do you overcome writer’s block? I give myself time to do other things and then come back later! Forcing yourself to overcome it isn't going to help. Let your brain recover from overuse!

Are there certain characters that you gravitate towards? I would say no but my friends would say otherwise EWIJFIOEJ

Short, medium, or long threads? I prefer Medium and sometimes short cause my attention span is god awful. But I don't mind long ones when I get into the mood.

Do you ever get jealous when rping? How do you handle this? I used to during my earlier days of rping, but I just remind myself that my way of writing my muses is different then another person. There's no need to compare myself. You also can't force people to pay attention to you.

What about your muse are you most proud of? I do a lot of research into the muses I write! A lot of thought goes into each character I portray hehe

RULES

This blog is multi-verse with each verse having a semi-fixed timeline. This means that there is continuity within threads. If something happens to your muse in one thread it may impact later interactions and plots.

In this a similar vein, I prefer exclusivity. However, I don't expect it to be mutual and will always approach my partner before adding you. I simply prefer not to interact with more than one of each muse. On rare occasions, at my own discretion, I'll break away from this and have two mains.

This blog has two main verses. One is a supernatural universe that combines mixed media (spn, wwdits, twilight, etc) and original lore. The other is a historical fiction pirate verse which pulls from PoTC, OFMD, and BS. I don't currently have a comprehensive pages on my lore for either, however, everyone is encouraged to ask questions.

Shipping tends to depend on the muse. Some muses are in open relationships, unattached, or engage in polyamory while others are single ship. Any ships that do happen are based off chemistry. Whether or not a ship is canon means very little to me.

If you bring drama onto my I will smite you. I don't care who was mean to who. I don't care if you think they were toxic or rude. I'm here to be chill, not see people frothing at the mouth all over my dash.

Minor godmodding is allowed/encouraged to progress threads. Otherwise, please keep to typical tumblr etiquette.

There will be potentially triggering content on this blog. Be aware that, for the most part, I DO NOT tag triggers. Anything with excessive gore, sexual content, etc will be tagged with nsft.
