The third and final commission from Fan Expo Chicago is going to take some explaining. Here are two young men who have superhero fathers. We have Mark Grayson, aka Invincible:
And there's Jon Kent hugging the Injustice version of his father, Superman:
Now, there are significant differences between the hugs.
Omni-Man has already shown remorse and regret for his actions. Mark's hug is one of acceptance and, to a certain extent, forgiveness.
Injustice Superman has no regrets about his actions, which include murder. Jon's hug is an attempt to divert him off the path that Superman has traveled for quite some time--and will continue to do so.
3. Mark's hug is accepted. Jon's hug and his words...aren't.
So, with that, I present to you two young heroes talking about their "murder dads." This was done as a collaboration between Chris Ehnot and Mostafa Moussa:
As always, this is a reduced-size, watermarked copy of the original in order to discourage art theft.

Review: Son of Kal-El #15: Finale
Review: Son of Kal-El #15: Finale
The finale to Seige of Gammora ends on a rather romantic note. The action is tied up a little too neatly–but there’s a promise of Lex Luthor as Jon Kent’s future foe, which makes it all the more delicious. Unlike the hotheaded Bendix, old Lex is more even-keel these days, making him deadlier.
