2) Would they be a class specific character? & 3) When would you recruit them?

Stabbing at both of these because I think the answer feels cleanest when I tackle it together. For all the time I've left this stewing at the back of my brain, I have yet, at least, to come up with an idea that gave me a strong opinion on class specific, but I do figure Alucren for being the type to only hang around fellow Imperials in the long-term. And that... inclines me towards saying he's a latecomer as far as an NPC, particularly a recruitable one.

And to take the excuse to ramble a bit about characters for that (and we'll go ahead and use that as a cut queue, too):

He's... stubborn, is the simplest way to say it. Raised in the Imperial system and deeply strict about his adherence to it, to go a bit further into it. And it's really not until Fallen Empire and Eternal Throne, where the entire order of the galaxy is sort of challenged by the presence of Zakuul as a major third power, that Alucren really... isn't given any other option but to face his own music and reflection in the mirror and actually... do a bit of reflection and reckoning with it. It's a little a lot maybe to dig into without also digging out a pegboard and some string to explain different versions of events with other ocs and characters and all that to explain, but the short version is, essentially, even though Alucren ultimately gets to a place where he's more comfortable in a scenario like the Alliance and willing to have those sort of cross-faction relationships despite differences in opinion and all that, it requires... a lot of self-realization first that Alucren's... really slow with and frankly pretty uncertain about, which I think I'm gonna pick back up on again for 18, so stay tuned, but.

Again, attempt to do a long thing short, he comes around a bit better to change, but it doesn't change his sense of place. His home is the Empire, and Alucren's core values... really boil down to family, and his concept of duty and honor in... sometimes a bit of a nebulous, conflicting order despite his performances and gnashing teeth to the contrary and that... means he won't leave. Any partnership sort of outside of that typical binary isn't meant to be long-term to him. He's... really not sure how to mentally explain it to himself, let alone justify prioritizing it over what he's built his life on, quite frankly, but don't tell him I told you.

4) Where would you recruit them from? & 5) What would their recruitment mission be?

Okay, so this part might have been the one that gave me the most trouble from this list (probably because it's hard for me to separate them, again >.> lol). I think the most interesting options for his recruitment would probably involve a few creative liberties with how things go in-game. Not to get too double-dipping ahead of myself, but his role is... a little difficult to define because he's not... in one that particularly. fits him. Just because he served as a Cipher doesn't mean he was ever an ideal fit for the role. But it was where he was needed - at least to be a body in a role, to fill a gap or what have you, and Alucren's raising and training requires of him to serve where he is needed by his Empire.

It's fairly likely he arguably remained in some sort of capacity with Sith Intelligence through its incarnations over the events of Ziost and into the events of KOTXX, so one of my thoughts as far as earliest appearance was maybe on Iokath as far as substantial interactions go, but... now that I've mentioned Ziost, it's possible he could've made at least a brief appearance or mention as one of the holdover assets from Imperial Intelligence. I do think he spent probably a fair amount of time working closer to home, so to speak, in between vanilla and more recent content, left to his own devices though...

Anyway, the other consideration that comes to mind is something a lot more recent - maybe tied somehow into events with Elom and Legacy of the Sith. I do think Alucren's... let's say... brand of loyalty was arguably liable to get him into something like hot water with one Sith lord or another sooner or later even if we take out the elements of him that have become so interesting to contemplate when he's around the events of Cipher Nine and Darth Jadus, so it's possible that kind of experience or that kind of relationship and owed loyalties would put him in play as an agent potentially acting on the behalf of a specific benefactor maybe even in addition to his interests as a loyal Imperial operative. His previous roles with more diplomatic and expansion roles prior to his experience as a Cipher may actually make him quite interesting to introduce as an agent for Darth Xarion's interest in the Alliance. As for the nature of that interest, is he possibly there to investigate for anyone suspiciously against the Empire's interests..? Maybe so. Or if the Commander is in more full cooperation with the Empire, he is surely there to simply facilitate a better relationship between merging parties. And help with security risks.

Certainly. Right?

In either case, it's likely less that he has a specific mission which you have to recruit him in so much that he is... introduced during one of the group cutscenes and maybe has a one-on-one interaction with the Commander after where he explains more of his role and offers his services on behalf of his superiors. Think a bit more functionally sort of how Anri and Tau have been so far, though possibly as a bit more permanent resident of the Alliance base with a posting for this particular engagement.

18) If they are recruitable in vanilla story, where are they during KOTFE/KOTET? What are/were they doing?

So, I did say I would push off his involvement, but that doesn't mean I don't have thoughts about this, lol. Some of this comes up a bit in the piece I wrote for him and Taizi (blorbo from friend's brain @hyrohkaah fame) reuniting actually during KOTFE, but I also wanna steal the opportunity to speak a bit more generally about one of the, like, catnip pieces about Alucren, to me.

And it's that Alucren is... afraid. Despite appearances, despite the kind of proud stallion act about him, a lot of it is... uncertainties and fears. And one of the interesting contrasts between him and Tyr because I love making contrasts between them - it is how I started Alucren, after all. To take things that were so integral to Tyr and... wonder what kind of character I'd have if I flipped his core values.

So, Tyr is... Tyr is so fucking ride or die. To a godsdamned fault. Quite possibly to the detriment of his own health. You'll see it in his loyalties, his justifications, the way he wears his service with Imperial Intelligence still as a badge of honor because his loyalty was to people like Keeper and Shara. Tyr doesn't give up on them because he never feels they give up on him. When Tyr says, Imperial Intelligence never betrayed me. He believes it. In the ways that matter, he believes they haven't. Keeper didn't. Shara didn't. Ardun Kothe, even, he... doesn't hold a grudge with - hell, even respects, still - because of this kind of loyalty. And Tyr... doesn't exactly have a lot of people on that kind of list. He doesn't have a lot to lose, and what little he does have is worth giving everything, to him, to fight for. He's willing to burn himself at both ends for that, to keep deconstructing himself and bending his own boundaries so someone else doesn't have to. Tyr's grounded by people that are close to him, but he's also... an idealist. As much as he doesn't realize it. He's someone capable of striving for ideals.

And... the short way to sort of say of Alucren is that... that isn't... him. Ideals and big overarching pictures just don't have as much sway on him. I've already said he's loyal. Both of them have areas where they are stubbornly loyal. And Alucren and Tyr butt heads sometimes because those areas don't always overlap.

Alucren has three older sisters that were and are dearly important to him. He grew up very close with them. Family, as was already mentioned, right? And... he has a strong sense of duty. He has a strong sense of how he was raised, and what he should value based on that experience, that more fairly-off background with a successful Imperial lineage as his backing. Change is... a lot bigger to him. He's a lot more likely to balk at it. It's... intimidating. Alucren isn't... an agent of change, in that sense, where Tyr is. Tyr is... a lot more ready to jump in because Tyr doesn't have that sense of place to lose. Alucren still has an attachment to an identity that existed before his role as a Cipher. He's got things and people that he's... not ready to lose.

Which is all just... a lot of build up to say Alucren's not the first person that would've been looking for the Outlander. Even if they had been close. When the Empire, when his superiors, say they're dead, when the threat of Zakuul is already so close as to have been the attack on Korriban, that attacks on Dromund Kaas, the blockades, all the other tensions implied during the five year period the Outlander is in carbonite... Alucren goes back to Dromund Kaas. He goes back, at least on paper, to be closer with his sisters, to keep them safe. Because he has a duty or responsibility or however else he decides to dress it up on that particular day to protect the Empire, to protect home.

But it's also... because a lot is changing. Zakuul is... upending a lot of what he knew. A lot of that sense of place, a lot of that identity he clung to in his loyalties.

And it's not just "former" Republic personnel being involved that make him hesitate to join something like the Alliance. He very likely wouldn't join the Alliance at all unless someone he knew and cared for was there and had a strong enough conviction in its need to exist and its purpose to argue for him to join them. (Tyr, for example, to go back to the fic, really only gets him there because its Taizi. And Tyr very nearly doesn't manage it. Because Tyr and Alucren have different values and Tyr argues from his understanding of his own. But... for as much as Tyr and Alucren have going on as a pair directly, Tyr's... Tyr would have a hard time convincing him to show up, based on their own relationship. If that was all they working on, but I'm. getting off-topic.)

ANWAY. THAT is all just. a long-winded way to explain that he's back on Dromund Kaas during probably a fair portion of the five year gap and at least the early parts of KOTFE. He might have had some few assignments to take him out to investigate any Republic process during that time, but he asked in his reassignment to stay closer to be with his sisters. And a lot of that time is... him trying to stick to those core three values and... also figure out what they're going to look like in a galaxy that's changing because of Zakuul's presence. Having to grapple with the real implications of his loyalties and his values and what's it all really mean, is this truly important to him, how much of it is all a mask..? All those kind of questions he never really gave himself time to sit with in the thick of a career in Intelligence. Some of it gets reaffirmed, some of it involves some realizations on areas to maybe be more open to change, if not... get ready to actually make those changes...

Which... wow, turned into a whole ramble uhm. >.> Ahhem. I give him a lot of shit for being my fucked up lil guy who is a lil like a bag of marbles dropped across the floor, but he is... he is also just. sometimes my soggy cardboard box guy. And he does some growth in there. Just a lil bit though don't inflate his ego too much.

psa for all avatar fanfic writers who feel the need to use Na’vi terms in their fics:

“ma” does not mean “my”

I know it’s tempting to think of it that way because it sounds similar, but it doesn’t. It’s a particle used when addressing someone directly. Think of it like a verbal @ sign. You use it when you’re talking to someone, never when you’re talking about someone.

✅ You should fix the basket, ma ‘itan. ❌ You should help ma ‘itan fix the basket.

✅ Ma Neytiri, did you go hunting earlier? ❌ I heard that ma Neytiri went hunting earlier.

Ma ‘ite = @ daughter, not “my daughter” Ma ‘itan = @ son, not “my son” Ma yawne = @ beloved, not “my beloved”

With ‘ite and ‘itan specifically I sometimes see it smushed into one word (ma’ite/ma’itan)--this is also incorrect. Even more so is using the tìftang as a connector between ma and whatever name or term you’re using (ma’yawne, ma’Jake, etc), which I’ve also seen once or twice. Tìftang is just a normal part of the words ‘ite and ‘itan; it has nothing to do with the “ma”.

I liked that about Coriolanus leaving halfway through the Pure as driven Snow song in the movie because drama but sometimes I'm kind of sad that we didn't get the snowjanus song:

I'll Sell You For a Song 🤧

I always found it telling how the song talks about your partner cheating on you and stop loving you like before (or I understood it that way) and causing you so much pain that to some extent it makes your love turn into hate and contempt enough for you to want and be able to sell them for a song.

Because from this perspective of the ship it is so revealing how Sejanus in Snow's eyes is someone who only brings him heartache and trouble and to some extent he could put up with that because of the love he had for him but everything changes when Sejanus starts lying to his face.

Coryo himself tells us that he never doubted Sejanus' sincerity, he trusted blindly in that trait of his personality until he no longer does and radically changes his attitude towards him.

I think it also says a lot that this happens a little before the conversation about trust with Lucy Gray and I think for Snow himself trust is very important, more than love (they agree on this trait) and it is distrust that condemns his two great loves.

And is that I would not be surprised a part of why Snow betrays Sejanus is not only his desire for self-preservation and paranoia, I think that although he refuses for a long time to admit that it was obvious to send the jabbarjey would condemn Sejanus and he did it expressly with that intention, that's what happen.

Coriolanus always had a desire to condemn / punish Sejanus in some way, for the many crimes that in Snow's delusional head the poor boy had committed, (stealing his life, not making good use of his position, etc). I think highlights the big crime of Sejanus in Coryo eyes is that he become a traitor and he must pay for it.

Sejanus betrayed Coriolanus first from his perspective when he didn't choose him over the rebels or the people of the district every chance he got and he stuck the dagger in symbolically when he started to be dishonest with Coriolanus.

And I think that feeling pushes Coryo to do what he did bc is resentful and like Lucy Gray sadly would show us later, if Snow think u are not worthy anymore of his trust and you put him in danger / do something he didn't like, he is going to fucking kill you 😭 (yeah we didnt't know Lucy Gray fate but I think we can agree that Coriolanus did not want to have a civilized conversation with her lmao).

Head Canons For Dante From Devil May Cry

I think about Dante way too much so I thought I would share my thoughts on some head canons of my own. Especially since the fandom for me gets so fucking dryyyyyyy Like please, I need more content or I'm going to spontaneously combust and not even in a hot and sexy way. (Or it still will be I just wont feel like it, but looking like hell on wheels is the goal!) yes that was a Heathers reference don't come at me Am I cringe? Yes. Am I free? Yes. These are my SFW head canons for him! If I get to it I can make my NSFW head canons as well but we'll see about that. Gender Neutral Reader Pairing. For my bitches, bros and fellow nonbinary hoes. (My certification in making head canons is as follows: I have played DMC 1, 2, 3, 4, 5. I've read all the novels, and read 3 different fan translations of the novels we don't have official English translations for. I've watched the animated series at least 12 times and I've listened to all of the audio drama CD's. I have canon reasons for all my head canons but some of them are just little silly things because I brain rot. Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk.) I apologize in advanced for any typos and grammar mistakes and or just not making sense. I am dyslexic and autistic so I have a weird way of explaining things and will misspell basic words sometimes but I promise to do my best.

He's a big dork and his favorite thing to do is make his S/O laugh. Filling their soul with light is his favorite thing to do. teehee So he says the stupidest jokes to make them double over in laughter.

This is a bit of a double edged sword however since he uses humor and sarcasm as a major crutch / coping mechanism. He can be serious when the situation calls for it, but most of the time he doesn't want situations and mishaps to weigh on himself or those around him too heavily.

He's HELLA broke. So he'd take full advantage of free things to do like spending the night under the stars in a park after hours. Something that feels like "We aren't supposed to be out here!" but isn't really harmful / breaking the law.

I think he has some sort of collection of some sort. I think he collects seashells because they remind him of more serene times in his childhood. Probably hand sized conches or perhaps sand dollars (because its the only 'dollars' Lady cant swindle out of him ;u;)

Will die on the hill of pizza being a "balanced meal" insisting that it has all the important food groups therefore pizza is healthier than media wants people to think.

Despite his habits of leaving his pizza boxes about and letting Patty clean up after him- his own personal hygiene is actually really important to him. He always makes sure to take a shower after he gets back from every mission.

He honestly cant stand the scent of demon blood on him, it makes him a little anxious because it takes him back to the night of the fire / attack every time. (babyyyy boyyyyyyyyyyyy)

His love language is physical touch (giving) and acts of service (receiving). When he gets more comfortable with you, he's got some part of him touching you at all times: a thigh pressed against yours, a gentle hand around your shoulders or the small of your back, insistent on you laying on his shoulder or in his lap if you're tired. He'll be super appreciative of you organizing things when his mind gets too jumbled or he's just brooding.

I'm sick of people calling him lazy. I don't think he doesn't clean up because he doesn't want to- I think he's just overwhelmed most of the time / overstimulated to do anything if he's not in battle.

I strongly feel like he has some sort of ADHD, Depression and CPTSD due to his trauma. (Losing / killing his brother several times, his mother being killed, his father up and disappearing one day, losing his found family repeatedly: Grue, Nell, Jessica... etc)

He'd probably be super understanding of a neurodivergent s/o and be more than happy to "parallel play" in the shop. He reads his magazines on the couch with you while you read a book. Or he'll try to get some semblance of work done at his desk on the occasion while you watch your favorite tv show.

talked to a coworker very briefly about this so i wanted to express my feelings because i literally refused to go as far as “misogyny affects men too” (i think talking about certain subjects that aren’t inherently positive is unprofessional and uncomfortable for others in the workplace) but like yeah, misogyny affects men too. it affects everyone. misogyny is pretty directly correlated with bio essentialism, and where i see this most commonly esp recently is that “women good men bad”. BUT, but but but, this also means “women good = women fragile and need protecting” and “women good = women polite and let us abuse / make them uncomfortable”. amongst like so many other things. when we believe women are less, we also believe that men are more and hold them to an unrealistic standard. this creates a space where women are always in danger and men have no space to express themselves in any way, and this is where even misandry comes into play because misandry isn’t oppression, it’s prejudice. (and if misogyny is directly correlated to bio essentialism then so is misandry, which will also affect everybody.)

so there’s a difference of being a TARGET of misogyny and being affected by it. women and feminine people will always be the target and where we are now, that targeted misogyny is way more likely to be life-threatening and physically dangerous. however, while misandry isn’t always directly dangerous it can lead to dangerous outcomes (high suicide rates, mental health issues, etc etc) and they both affect one another through bio essentialism.

this is also why intersections and words to describe them are SO important. misogyny is going to look different for trans women, misandry is going to look different for transmascs. sometimes they’ll experience both (evil men coming to invade our bathrooms is both an example of trans misogyny and misandry, given the wording, but that does not mean that trans misogyny = misandry. they can both simply coexist at certain moments) black men are going to face an intersection of racism and misandry at given moments, as are black women with misogyny. it’s important that we have these words and acknowledge that they exist so that everyone has a space to talk about what they experience, so we can better understand how we need to evolve and fix these issues.

i usually need someone to give me a tl;dr or however they spell it because i have a hard time understanding large concepts so basically mine is that:

many issues such as misogyny and misandry and the intersections between them and other phobias/prejudices shares many things with bio essentialism and therefore can affect, but not target, everyone. this means that more than anything we need to listen when people describe their struggles, so we can better the safety and respect within our communities. um. thank u for coming to my ted talk please let me know if u have questions or if i said something stupid

this is going to be basically an “how to make ur jewish character a normal person with a cohesive background” bc I’m doing it rn and have noticed that a lot of gentile writers don’t really pay attention to the details and differences between communities :3

so I’m writing series of jewish!mcr fics now, right ?? so the first order of business was to figure out what kind of jew they’ll each be, which was actually kinda hard - like I need to make sure I make them part of communities I know well enough to represent well, right ?? anyways it ended up being not that bad, since I know plenty of Italian/greek jews and South American jews to represent at least half well (btw that would make them all sephardi, despite the majority of east coast jews being ashkenazi).

then, it’s to time to decide where they fall on the religious spectrum !! contrary to popular belief, u can be jewish and an atheist at the same time, bc judaism is an ethnoreligion - but u can obvi be super devout and religious, so what kind of beliefs can ur jewish character possess ??

the spectrum is as follows:

atheist — secular — traditional — religious — ultra orthodox (haredi)

for the purpose of my fic, and in light of the members’ actual upbringing, they all fall within the “traditional” category, with a quite religious upbringing (so for example, bc frank went to catholic school his jewish version went to little yeshiva (but didn’t go to the big yeshiva, he’s too cool for that)). pay attention to the way ur jew interacts with tradition and scripture - most jews celebrate every holiday and observe Yom Kippur, but only from traditional and futher on the religious side keep the shabbat and strict kashrut laws.

up next, how do they interact with their community ?? do they go to their synagogue ?? do they participate in purim parties ?? do they have an elaborate or small Seder ?? do they eat cheese on Hanukkah ?? do they avoid kitniyot on Passover ?? etc. etc.

these questions can be helped by the prior aspects of their jewish identity - community, denomination, level of religious devotion :) it helps guide u in what they can and can’t eat, when they dress up, when they invite all their friends and family over to show them their culture - and develop story beats accordingly !!

make sure that ur jew dresses up for holidays (chag/chagim) and shabbat !! it’s quite important to most jews to wear their “Sunday best” in holy days like that :3

8. common fandom opinion that everyone is wrong about

this is maybe more an activity derived from an opinion/mindset but i was thinking about it today: collecting fandom artwork off the internet and making twitter threads or tiktoks or youtube shorts or otherwise content out of it without credit or permission isn’t contributing to fandom in general or being a fandom content creator, it’s actually stealing :) there seems to be a shocking amount of people who think this kind of reposting is normal/acceptable and let me just say i have a blanket permissions statement on my ao3 but if i ever catch someone putting my stuff in a tiktok compilation without crediting me and letting me know as per the terms of my permissions i am coming to their house and dropping a fat turd in their microwave

now obviously if you have permission/the creator has given blanket permissions, and you link your sources, go absolutely hog fuckign’ wild!

25. common fandom complaint that you’re sick of hearing

ok this one ends up being more general fandom too, but any and all variants and extensions thereof belonging to the overarching complaint of “there just isn’t enough X art/fic!” shut the fuck up and write it/draw it yourself. “but i can’t write/draw” and you think your idol authors/artists just… could? it’s called practice babeygrill. pick up a pencil. youtube has some great free drawing tutorials. drop your fave authors a line and ask them what writing advice they can provide. “but im too busy” i write on my phone in the fckin’ shower while my conditioner sets. and in between teaching courses at university, and while my dinner’s cooking, and between sets at the gym, and on the train to work, and hobby time on the weekends. “but i’m too lazy” then Cope. thank u for coming to my ted talk*

bzz it's bee hello i'm literally talking to fern about this while we speak but isn't it insane how much fantasy is reliant upon like. defunct race science?????????? and how much work one has to do as a writer or creator or like. passive consumer of color to try and untie what is just. utter pseudoscience that has been at the mast of white supremacy for CENTURIES from what is admittedly a fun and cool premise that has existed for... forever (namely worldbuilding around folklore and fairy tales and the such)

it's extra annoying being a displaced and colonized person with less physical interaction with the sort of . motherland of your culture. imma do it it's just gonna make my head hurt i deserve to have fun with swords too

yeah... from what i understand, modern high fantasy (and all of its tropes) largely originates in jrr tolkien's LOTR system - wherein you can find a lot of biases if you're looking for them. as a young asian american woman, the most obvious to me is the notion that the "good" humans live in the west, and the "evil" humans lives in the east (literally called 'easterlings' and described as having 'slant-eyes').

these ideas seep through the modern high fantasy tradition, and that's how you end up with a conflict between characters who look like this:

where one has the potential for good and change, and the other is irredeemably, cartoonishly evil...

one of my least favorite lines in the game is when astarion calls kozakuran (cazador's home language, and analogous to japanese) a "chicken-scratch language." just feels deeply unnecessary and hits a little too close to home for comfort.

but yeah 😞 like you said, these ideas have been instilled in western cultural values for like forever, lol, so it's really not much of a surprise. i can only speak to orientalism since that's what i understand the best, but on the topic of race science and all that, gary gygax certainly had ideas 🤮 it still baffles me that dnd was going off race-based morality (ie. all drow used to be chaotic evil, all githyanki were lawful evil, etc.) and race-based classes for so long 😬 i was looking through my dad's ancient copy of DND 1e and it was so baffling i could barely skim it, lol

plus - "i deserve to have fun with swords too" is so true!! ;; it saddens me that even an immersive, 'forget your irl troubles' game like bg3 still reflects... a lot of those irl problems, haha, but game devs and creatives are human, too, and sometimes we're not always conscious of the biases we carry...

Hi lovely!

I come from grandparents who are illiterate and my uncles, aunts and mom have degrees and went to college but they still have issues with using large vocabulary and understanding things in a larger context. Idk how to explain it. But it’s like they’re only saying what they know and misuse words. I find myself doing that too and didn’t realize it til I was corrected by a college professor in front of the whole class and it was embarrassingggg.

For me it’s worse, because my cousins have this issue too and they’re all in school but my parent had a stroke and I’m always around them and their words are slurred and they use to wrong words and I pick up on that habit because I help take care of them.

One day I want to do public speaking- debate club - stuff like that. I want to be in leadership but i feel held back or not good enough or knowledgeable enough even though I study hard, and speak to different people when I can.

Even though I read and listen to educational stuff on YouTube from different views, I still have the habits my family does.

What should I do be better with my words, mindset, and stuff like that? Thank u so much :)

To improve your vocabulary, communication, verbal delivery, and public speaking skills, I would suggest:

Read. A lot. Try reading articles/essays from well-written publications (The New Yorker and The Atlantic immediately come to mind), and books & essays from classic and contemporary authors across cultures to diversify your lexicon & expand your worldview.

Listen to TED Talks. Also, programs like Toastmasters are supposed to be great for public speaking.

Practice talking to yourself in the mirror. Give yourself a pep talk or have a self-debate with yourself in the mirror when alone.

Write journal entries that mimic thesis statements. Vent like you're writing an informal essay. Then, take some time away from the page and revise it into a logical string of thoughts/arguments to prove why or why your decision made sense, was the most helpful, etc. for a more minor situation that occurred throughout a random day (let's just say why you made a certain lunch or time you decided to shower – nothing emotionally-charged or heavy on the mind/soul).

Free write to expand on your strongest or most unpopular opinions. You can learn how to justify/craft a compelling argument with no one trying to interject when you speak while always having the final say.

So I have a headcanon that I need to put out into the world so here I am, lemme know what you think /nf. So Glitchy Red (in an x reader scenario or something) would absolutely LOVE any sort of physical affection. I mean, man's been stuck in a game for his whole life he has to be some amount of touch starved. So of course stuff like hugs would be perfect but even just like holding hands, sitting back to back, one of them leaning their head against the other's shoulder, etc. Like imagine reader just sitting on the couch doing something (playing a game, reading, doesn't really matter) and Red is maybe only half-interested in what they're doing but he's looking over their shoulder while they lean against him and he's content with it, maybe dozes off a bit, but he's happy. Anyways thank you for coming to my TED Talk. :)

of course him showing this at first it'd probably be a little discreet like you arriving home from Undisclosed Job I Mentioned In Oneshot (if we're going off the fact it was indirectly based off of me lets just say dairy queen <3 sorry common dairy queen slander dub) and just flopping down on your couch - glitchy would immediately come out from your room to make sure it was you, of course, and sit down beside you, eventually coursing his way into your arms and you both following asleep like that

or maybe like you mentioned - you're home and somewhere in the house, maybe just playing one of your various games from ur PRIZED video game collection like ur ds or something and glitchy will hover around you until eventually being entangled with you, probably watching not only you but also your determined look to kick youngster joey's ass on pokemon hgss

the way you'll come over to him and gently play around with his hands, his loose locks of black hair, the way you give him gentle kisses.. fndsjfksdf

that's when he'd definitely start showing how much he really loves you. there'd be no more of a need to be shy about it - expect him to start coming up randomly behind you and holding you there in his arms, letting you listen to his fucked up glitched breathing (until u ask to let go that is, and he'll let u go on ur merry day) or when you clock in for the night, if he's not already there, he'll immediately come and curl up beside you at the sound of your bed creaking with you laying down on it

i think its even funnier if you also hc him to be not very talkative similar to canon/og red hehe

either way, he's gonna start looking like a lost puppy following you around if you give him the love he oh so desperately needs /lh /pos

i’m so sorry but i need to rant about my day hehe

first off, my stupid shift leader made me do literally every task known to man today. i’ve worked here a whole year, and i’ve never see her clean an oven, take out the trash, clean the bathrooms, do the floors, etc. which, she made me do PLUS MORE??? like there were 5 of us there, why me? she made me do all that in the span of two hours. i did everything listed, plus cleaning both bars, dishes, stocked everything, and had to run drive thru too.

then i come home to my cat locked in my room, which i didn’t do before i left. we were cuddling on the couch and my room was open to her if she needed food. she knocked over some water, which isn’t her fault. like she shouldn’t have been locked in my room??? i know exactly who did it too 😭 like how do they expect me to not be upset about this?

season 3 ted lasso, just pissing some thoughts after watching the finale. talkin about things they fumbled unbelievably hardcore this season jsyk.

- the unrelenting force of forgiveness and tying everything up with a pretty bow extending to both the sam's restaurant being destroyed storyline and the james tarttt sr storyline. just wooooooof... Terrible. sam and jamie i'm literally gonna get u out of there.......

- keeley's plot this season was So disappointing. she used to be a driving force and here she felt like an afterthought, and i don't know if it was because KJPR was separate from the club, but she was just so disconnected. they dropped shandy, they dropped jack, hard. thank god for barbara because i liked a lot of her and keeley's scenes [snow globe :)]. and then in the finale relegated keeley to role of object of affection for jamie and roy to fight over👍awesome😐 love triangle plotlines suck ass majority of the time, and maybe jamie and roy in the finale could have been played funny for me [sorry to royjamie brain it for a sec, but they alone still are. intricate rituals and all that. that ripped shirt, bloody nose combo etc etc lmaoooo] but because the show has continually fucked keeley over this season it leaves a bit of a bitter taste. her kicking them out her house like yesssss literally. get their asses outta here. idk, romantic relationships aside, it just felt shit that for keeley's last episode she didn't even get to reap any positives of the platonic relationships she has with roy or jamie. [at least we have rebecca. society if keeley kissed rebecca in the finale] lol not really but u knooow. just after the shoddy love bombing plotline with jack, and the way her relationship with jack concluded and this in the finale, i hope she stays single for a while, and i think the show settled on that at least which okay.👍 she's literally keeley fuckin jones waaaaoough....

- the fucking locker room information PSA's........ maaaan i Know the show is cheesy feelgood tv but season 1 was not just morality lesson central with characters talking like npcs delivering do good greeting card messages one after another.

- ted's marriage plotline was dogshit 👍 just yaaaaaaawns all round idk. rewatching scenes from season 1 and bein like? this dude used to make me chuckle! what happened..... thank god they didn't fumble the bag on sending him back to kansas to be with henry. [henry having the same strip number as jamie was a nice touch]. i just wonder that if this season had some more jamie ted scenes [that weren't him telling jamie to forgive his father 😐] that it might have strengthened that ache to get back to his son even more, as opposed to reopening a perfectly concluded plotline with michelle because oh no....she's... dating?

- naaaaaaaate. my guy nate waaaaaaahh. they sidelined you so fucking hard. did not know what to make of nate's plot this season with jade. i think they had sweet scenes together but concerning the actual footie of the show [the football show in question] they made nate a fucking afterthought too. some episodes it was like and uhhhh... yeah... quickly !! show the west ham building and get a reaction shot from nate!! we forgot we set him up at the end of season 2 as an antagonistic force for richmond to go against. like come onnn man. think that international break was nate's strongest episode outta the whole season, what with his depression slump, attic rummaging, family photo album reminiscing, violin playing, father reconciliation, will apology with lavender, just a really solid nate episode all round. its just sad it came so late in the season.

yeah that's the main thoughts spinning right now i guess lol. BOSH.
