#in our enclosures!!#video linked as source; which i'm glad to see already has a million views and is trending. That's Right #lackadaisy #WHICH i have been reading since at least '07 when i was thirteen my god b/c this animation is based on the ongoing webcomic #like does its influence show up Directly in some Discrete way i can point to in my art? not very easily probably. And Yet.#the inspiration....i wasn't able to be Regularly Only for at least another year / art done Nonprofessionally Online was novel to me #like wow ppl can make & post fanart of w/e they love huh....didn't know webcomics were a thing & i never really read that many since but.#good god the quality of Lackadaisy at its onset is like this is superb?? this person putting in all their talent and effort???#and Then you get years & years more art and i don't even know what superlatives to throw out abt its quality as it evolves. obsessed w/it..#if i see a new lackadaisy comic page i Will be acting out. obviously this animation is a delight & also stunning. and fascinating to also #juxtapose as a Translation / Interpretation of the comic in a different medium & standalone snippet of Story #and that we're not even quite there in the comic timeline; Taking Notes abt character info we get distilledly here....genuinely love like #take it back to '07 i'm like oh boy can't wait for the dream team to assemble. then a decade later when it did? Oh Boy. that is payoff lol #namely hooray for stitches and mudbug at the field office for every passing gangster. killing one marigold associate but not the other #which seems like a promising start to shootouts w/the other dream team triumvirate. i adore that in canon so far mordecai freckle & rocky #have met but only over a nice brunch. re: all intentions anyways. anyways i'm like Gifs Must Be Made while i'm also so riled afresh abt the #comic that i've been sooo hype for for over fifteen yrs now babeyyy Deservedly. i've done a couple of rereads & ought to do another....#For Interest it'd probably take a few sittings to catch up from the start but there is much to be engaged over....this ongoing story that's #historical fiction prohibition bootlegging cats with plenty of focus on characters & several Mysteries. which i'm better at parsing now lol #like one of the more recent rereads like Oh Of Course x (probably) accidentally killed his y & z took the fall & that's a binding secret...#Not [oh of course] abt the circumstances surrounding a's death & how b & c were involved. nor the ''what's marigold's damage'' mystery #which is great. love to not know things. love that we can readily follow all the emergent drama everyone's wading in nowadays. hell yeah #anyways admire my organized approach to gifs here. four shots each Expressions Atmosphere Action Groupshots #sure might've muddled through gifmaking for this anyways but fr being a huge lackadaisy comic enjoyer for now most of my life helps #and its very Overall Inspiration like. just really getting the [you can really just draw stuff out here] going. fr the art's detail & skill #and that enrichment like i'm gonna have a great time following this. Why the fuck are people on Twitter upset about nonbinary robots. Transformers are aliens, why would they follow another species gender binary based on reproduction when they don't even reproduce sexually. If anything, ALL the robots should use they/them.

the new girl at one of my favorite bakeries called me pretty this morning and it literally melted all my stress away 🥺

#kai.rambles #i was feeling sad bc my grandma is in the hospital and when i went to visit her they wouldn’t let me pass bc my license is expired #which okay ik that’s my fault but i took my passport with me just in case and the guy straight up told me that it wasn’t a valid form of id #and im like yeah tf it is ITS A PASSPORT and he said no #and while i was waiting for my mom to come down to the lobby an old lady came in and he turned her away for the same thing #and dudeee okay you turn me away fine fuck off but an old ladyyy??? at that age they don’t pay attention to that just let her pass #and then he argued with another woman bc she brought a flower arrangement and it had water so he couldn’t allow it HELLOOO??!?#so i had to leave and went to go get breakfast for my mom at least bc she stayed the night and i was supposed to stay the day #and when i came back to give her the food she told me that the nurse that was with my grandma asked what happened bc she wasn’t expecting #my mom to return and when my mom told her she immediately got so angry bc that same guy #didn’t allow her and a couple other nurses to bring in a cake for one of the residents #who’s birthday is today and they had a full on argument this morning #so it was all in all awful and now my mom has been there for more than 20 hours until later tonight when my aunt goes over :(#anyway this turned into a whole rant im sorry but im so mad bc i know for a FACT that a passport is a valid form of id #and he was just being a fkn dick #but the girl called me pretty and it took some stress off and she really liked my blush #and i liked hers so we had a little makeup 101 exchange and it was so nice at least 🥺#and i have a couple cute asks to answer that have made my day as well so i’ll get to those in a few 🥰

it kind of sucks when all your friends and family, everyone you know, are all pairing off and getting married and havinf families, except you. you're the only one that doesn't have a partner and probably can/will never get one. especially if one around you has time for you anymore, they never reach out, never get back to you, because they're only focused on their partners and families. you're stuck alone and drift away from everyone through no fault of your own. you have no hope of finding your own partner or no motivation to look for one for whatever reason. the lack of connections while seeing everyone around you having their own can get overwhelmingly lonely at times....

To follow up on the previous post mentioning that I knew I'd be meeting law soon in op and being excited because I'd know I'd like him. WELL. He's not the character I imprinted on. And Eustass Kid fulfills that roughly masculine stereotype to a tee EXCEPT not since he's also leaning into punk subculture and gender defying lipstick and it's not meant in an effeminant way but kinda a Don't Fuck With Me Way which his whole look screams and so suddenly that's TEN TIMES BETTER BECAUSE FUCK GENDER STEREOTYPES. and also did I mention he's clearly supposed to be Celtic/Scottish? and as a person whose also Scottish I'm like oh FUCK YES. And oh no that's EXACTLY the gender vibe I want. And then u don't know anything about him for the next age I guess since they all disappeared

there's something very special about hanging out with new friends

#certified protectcosette original #been hanging out more with this lesbian couple i'm lowkey obsessed with #met one of them a couple years ago and have been friendly acquaintances since. then they and their partner started coming to food not bombs #so we've been doing that together the past few months. and then we did trivia last week with another girl from fnb! which was very nice!#and then we carpooled to a ceasefire rally thing today and they invited me to have tea at their place after (and offered to feed me)#(i declined but its very nice) and its just like? oh they like my company they think i'm cool? they want to hang out with me? it's magical #like. all the excitement of the first few dates with a new romantic partner but steadier. more reliable #and i think it's really sad that we don't really celebrate platonic connections in art the way we do romantic connections #a couple weeks ago i was like. why is there not a wedding-like ceremony for celebrating friendships?#and now i'm like. i need songs to listen to that reflect being platonically smitten with people. but it doesn't exist in the mainstream #i'll write this shit myself if i have to but still this needs to be everywhere #aromantic #aspec #adding aro tags bc i think yall will understand

I know the reunion concert was literally just 2 days ago but my bros my guys my dudes I miss WATT so so much and I really do want this show Actually Revived because I miss my cheerleaders, pma's stories and music are fucking great and I wanna hear more, watt has so much room for improvement, and I wanna see watt thrive aaaaaaaa

#like i have had my fair share of musicals that Greatly Deserve A Revival (alice by heart (!!!) and love in hate nation (!!!))#but i cheer for watt the most because um well yes it had me hooked in 2021 so im biased #but also because i've spent so much damn time analyzing the damn show #and ive said time and time again that it is a genuinely well crafted show that not only treats the teenage experience with mature respect #(like watt is the only modern-teenage-girl-focused musical that comes to mind that doesnt ridicule its demographic)#but also has a perfectly crafted emotional core (that being the story of vices and grief with annleigh farrah kate and chess)#+ the relationships they all share with one another!#and another reason why i cheer for a revival because i really do feel that show can be improved even further #(i still stand by my 2 yr old rambles that act 2 could be better and that the exploration of guilt with kate annleigh & reese would be nice)#and i really do want watt to improve because frankly the emotional aspects of the show have so much potential!#and lastly: as an aspiring writer and musician i genuinely admire pma and his works so much #and id love to see him become even more successful and prominent in the mt sphere or wherever he wishes to be #anyways yea watt has a special place in my heart and id love to see it officially come back some day #and thats the end of my ramble gotta go bye damn i really am in a 2021 mood #we are the tigers #preston max allen
