i'm getting the sense that marauders fans by and large are intensely antisnape and potentially moralistic about it... i think that they should consume non-hp media with more deeply fucked up and also deeply enjoyable characters for some perspective. they might benefit from the locked tomb perhaps. go take a gander at, like, ianthe and then get back to me
Do you think the reason Severus Snape called Lily a mudblood that time was because he was used to using it around his Slytherin mates to fit in? Because I can’t see him saying it other wise and I can’t see him not saying it around Mulciber and crew.
It’s interesting, I’d love to know more and Snape’s late Hogwarts experience
LMAO, wrong blog, I'm so sorry. Still THO, how do you think Beloved Snape would react to the dannypocalypse? Snate it? Snove it? Sneer in disgust at it?
LOL all good!
I think he would be indifferent at first but then start to hate it. He’s not in the loop with most things, so he wouldn’t even know what it’s referencing/where it originated. If he even were to use the internet, it’d be to keep himself up to date with current events and maybe keep in touch with one or two people. I don’t think he’d even know what Tumblr is tbh (and it’s probably better he doesn’t 😭)
In general, I think he hates memes, mostly because he doesn’t understand them. If his students caught on to a meme/trend, he’d ban them from speaking of it and further spreading it because he doesn’t want them to be distracted. A mere mention is enough to get them detention and lose points.
i've been in the hp fandom a fair while, but I'm still surprised with how seriously snaters take their snating, ngl. you'd think snape was the bane of all hp characters' existences, the way some of them talk about him.
they also seem to hate snape fans quite a bit. the fuck did we do to them?
