You were imprisoned by Shang tsung and Quan chi, discovering your powers and hoped to learn a thing or two.

Your powers being bio electric volts and the abilities of a spider plus more.

Repeatedly tortured as they performed their experiments on you.

You were cold… hungry…. Tired….

But then you saw a new face that you haven’t seen before. Maybe he could help.

“Please… help me….”

His green eyes on you as he helped fix you up.

“I would love to help you… but I can’t… Shang tsung has my family, and if I don’t do what he says, he’ll kill them and me…”

You thought all hope was lost until you saw a group of people walk in, one had the tarkat in him.

Then the stranger came back and offered aid to one of them, also revealing that he is a zaterran.

“Woah…”

But then Shang tsung returned and grilled the man who is known as syzoth. Telling him to prepare for the replication experiment.

“You don’t have to do this..”

“It’s either you or my family” syzoth then released wild and corrupted infected with the tarkat to kill you all.

A man named Johnny cage saw you and freed you as well.

“Can you fight !!??”

“I can fight” you nodded.

Fending everyone from the infected, you showed off your strength, agility, and your bio electric powers, electrocuting them with just the palm of your hand.

“Damn kid.. you got some moves, hey could you be a stunt double for my next movie ??”

Syzoth fell to his knees, defeated after Baraka defeated him in Kombat.

“If I die… maybe he’ll spare my family”

But then, Shang tsung appeared, angry that syzoth has failed his tasks and soon, flooded the chamber with poisonous gas, before leaving, revealed that he had killed syzoths family.

Heartbroken and angry, he then sought revenge on him. He aided your teams side.

“What is your name my friend ??”

“I will honour you and your friends along side our shared quest to stop Shang tsung, it’s the least I can do to make amends”

Smoke

The stakes were high, the very nature of space and time were on the brink of collapse.

Shang tsung needed to be stopped.

You were surrounded by multiple variations of yourself, powerless you almost admitted defeat.

But then out of nowhere, the area surrounding you became dark, with blood being spilled as you stood there.

When it dissipated you saw a young man standing there in the middle of the carnage, before rushing to you and checking for any injuries.

“Are you alright my friend ??”

“I’m ok… thank you…”

“My name is Tomas, but you can call me smoke for now, quickly we must head to the top of the temple in order to get you home”

The treacherous climb began as the two of you fought waves of enemies before you.

Smoke demonstrated his practical magic as he fought. You doing so the same.

Even beginning to chain your attacks together to make lethal blows.

You reached the top together and fought Shang tsung one last time, Together you were an unstoppable force, one to be reckoned with.

With Shang tsung defeated you were now staring at the portal that would bring you home.

Holiday SAS Headcanons

You guys seem to enjoy these, and I'm enjoying writing them! These are gifts that I think the members of SAS would get their SO and how they would treat their SO in cold weather (warming them up, what food they'd make them, e.t.c.)

Mute - Mute would surprise you with a thoughtful gift...days before Christmas. He wouldn't admit it was because he was impatient and excited to see what you thought of it. He would also be the last one to want to help decorate. He enjoys the holidays, but doesn't really have the ambition to spend time hanging lights and whatnot. He might help you put ornaments on the tree if you give him the puppy dog look that melts his heart every time. If you begged him, he would be inclined to go to your best friend's ugly Christmas sweater party. As long as he puts a smile on your face, he's down for anything at the end of the day.

When it's cold out, Mute will love spending time curled up watching TV with you. As a bit of a history buff, he would enjoy seeing some of the local sights while covered in snow. Surprisingly he is oddly really good at making snowpeople, and you don't judge him for the five he built in the yard after a big snow storm. He even puts little scarves and hats on them.

Smoke - He is always going to make sure you are spoiled. He's the kind of guy to give you love coupons for Christmas and actually follow through with the items on said coupons, particularly the ones that are hands on. He would love to see you and his daughter getting along on Christmas morning, and the look on both of your faces when he surprises you both with your very thoughtful gifts. He also has a cookie recipe that honestly yields the best cookies you've ever tasted, and would love nothing more than for you to decorate them with him.

He really likes going to do things as a family with the two of you. It doesn't matter if it's ice skating, sledding, or just walking downtown and sipping hot cocoa. Of course he would be down for some really cozy cuddling on the couch. His favorite pass time would be silently laying on the couch with your head on his chest while you admire the tree you decorated all together. He wouldn't even complain in the morning when he woke up and his back hurt because you both fell asleep on the couch.

Sledge - Sledge is going to lose his mind trying to figure out what to get you. He would be stressing last minute because his mother will have him second guessing every gift he bought you, despite deep down him knowing that he got you something you will probably like. He prefers Christmas morning to be just the two of you, but will be happy to visit respective families after your personal festivities are done. He's also the type to propose on Christmas morning. You could literally buy him anything and he would be thrilled.

Sledge really likes shoveling, for no good reason other than it's good exercise, and he loves his shovel. He refuses to buy a snowblower even when you tell him he should. He made his own shovel, it looks oddly familiar...Caber 2.0? He will also insist on snowball fighting with you outside after every snow storm, and then he will make it a full time job to warm you up when you lose and your body is nearly frozen and drowned under snowballs that he pelted you with.

Thatcher - He knows how to spoil his SO to the moon and back. Whatever you like, there will be lots of it under the tree. He will also remember one jewelry store you said you liked four years ago and he will continue buying you a new piece of jewelry from that store for every occasion, even if you don't care for the store anymore. You just don' t have the heart to tell him to stop when you see how happy he is to give you the gift. He actually, surprisingly, has a thing for Christmas crafts. He will enjoy working on them together and using them to decorate rather than going to the store to buy decorations.

Thatcher won't admit it, but he loves peppermint hot cocoa and you smirk when you see empty cups in the trash can from his little secret. He will make sure your car is always cleaned off and that there's always a fire in the fireplace on exceptionally cold evenings. While not particularly fond of tech, he secretly appreciates the smart home thermostat so that he doesn't have to get off the couch and stop cuddling with you in order to turn up the heat. Really big fan of classic Christmas movies.

Who should I do next? Christmas is right around the corner and I may not have time to do more beforehand, so maybe we can look at New Year's, or who cares, Christmas headcanons are fine with me any time of year honestly.

"Alright, here we go!" The bartender announces, leaning up to place the drinks on the bar.

"That's one whiskey, neat—" He says, sliding the lowball cocktail glass with amber liquid in front of Eddie.

Eddie stares down at the whiskey in the glass before him and pouts a little. Beside him and watching his boyfriend closely, Steve rolls his eyes.

"Oh, quit being dramatic," Steve says, sliding the cocktail across the bar so it's in front of Eddie, who had ordered it. He steals the glass of whiskey back at the same time.

"It happens every time."

"It happens most times."

"That isn't much better!" Eddie protests, even as he leans down and takes a long sip from the straw while they both get to their feet and leave the bar. Steve's hunting for a table they can snag, his eyes narrowed in focus. Eddie follows him blindly, his cocktail cupped in both hands.

"I'm serious, Steve! What is it about this adorable face—" He says, gesturing to himself, barely letting go of the straw to talk. It doesn't seem to faze him that Steve doesn't even glance back. "—Says I don't want to enjoy a Whammin' Bammin' Big Booty Colada?"

Steve comes to a stop, pausing his search for a moment to look back at Eddie. His expression seems unimpressed on the surface but Eddie can see his lips twitching up at the corners.

"Is it a crime to wish to not fall victim to stereotypes?" Eddie prattles on, following Steve duly by slipping his hand into Steve's outstretched one. His cocktail wobbles precariously as he takes another gulp.

"Like when that waitress gave me your awful black coffee! And you got my delicious delicacy that I paid extra hard-earned money for..."

This must be my third order, but I feel like this has become the sugar I need... How about something like the male characters from mk1 Lin Kuei Brothers, Raiden, Liu Kang and Kung Lao, being jealous of their special forces wife when getting looks from Outworld men at some meeting or something.

author note: lol don't worry! It's a good period where writing juice is flowing🫡

Bi-Han: -The man is livid, ice particles are already forming on his hands. -He knows you aren't doing anything wrong, but at the back of his head, he can hear a small voice telling him you are enjoying the attention and doing that on purpose. -You had this discussion more than once, with voices rising and mean and meaningless words escaping both your mouths. At least he now understands he is wrong and trying to get better. -Trying = key word. -Bi-Han won't take his anger out on you, but if one of those Outworld men try to touch you, they won't see the next day.

Kuai Liang: -King of dealing with jealousy. -It just takes a spark to start a blaze, but since Liang has been dealing with the feeling since he was a young man, he knows how to calm himself down. -Liang trains with renowned intensity, each punch and kick stronger than the one before. -So, if you'll ever be in danger because of instinct driven men, it will take just one punch to smash their head in tiny particles.

Tomas Vrbada: -He knows you are hot. It's obvious that people would look at you like that. -This sparks a bit of jealousy in the boy, stemming from his insecurities, but Tomas will keep it to himself. -He'll keep telling himself that jealousy is dumb, that you love him and he loves you, and nobody can come between you two. -That doesn't mean that if one of the men get a bit too comfortable and you can't shove them away Tomas won't pull out his knifes at the speed of light. -Their eyes won't register what is happening.

Liu Kang: -Feel just a tinge of jealousy, but nothing that will close his brain vessels. -He knows you are strong, you can brush them off easily without him even moving a finger. -Liu Kang is also a bit…proud? He has a partner others can only dream of. -But his hand will slip on your lower back, na tap or slap, just resting there, a signal smart men will take.

Raiden: -Not as good as keeping his jealousy in check, as he neved had to deal with it before. -Raiden grits his teeth and clenches his hands, glare that could strike dead any enemy. -He is not angry at you, obviously it is not your fault, maybe he should work on his aura, now it isn't intimidating enough. -When you'll have a free moment, Raiden will pull you to the nearest corner to kiss you dumb. He says it is a reward for your good work, but it is mostly a reward for himself.

Kung Lao: -Ah! Let them look, let them drool, they don't have a chance with you anyway. -A peacock with feathers open wide, or better chest out, he is so proud of himself. -Totally gonna do pda to show off, it is a bit embarrassing, but Lao will stop if you ask him. -When it's time to go home he brushes off the hair in the back of your head, showing off your neck; the small hickey there a telltale sign for each men that even glanced in your direction.

When people say “Jason wouldn’t smoke because he died of smoke inhalation” I respectfully have to disagree, because if there’s one thing Jason is going to do he’s going to take aspects of his trauma and use them for himself and push on them like a bruise (he takes the name red hood, he uses explosives and guns, the crowbars were lame but they weren’t out of character), so I don’t think that would stop him from smoking. The way I see it I think Jason would be one of those people who occasionally smokes a cigarette when things are Particularly Bad, even though they swear they stopped smoking, like a maladaptive coping mechanism basically

How’d you think the Lin Kuei boys show their affection to their partner?

It’s kinda short but irl I’m actually so bad at affection, it’s stupid. They all have around 300 words👍🏾

Bi-Han

I feel like as the Grandmaster and having so many responsibilities, he'd appreciate someone who does things for him. So his way of showing affection is to do the same for them

Handling chores, leaving you bowls of fruit, cooking for when you return, stuff like that.

I don't think he's the type to say “I love you much” either. Words are cheap. Actions show you how much someone truly cares

If you're a fighter, he'd also show affection by tending to you if you're harmed and checking in from time to time

Also sparring. This may not seem like something affectionate but in his mind, him sparring with you shows he cares about you enough to try and sharpen your skills. It means he cares about your safety.

Affection to him can be somewhat uncomfortable, so don't expect him to do huge grand gestures. His version of love is more quiet and private. Honestly you wouldn't be wrong if you felt a bit neglected

Neglecting you wouldn't be on purpose though. He just feels that certain things are unnecessary. Constantly touching, being near each other, whispering sweet things, and all that other type of shit just isn't his vibe. It's unnecessary and it seems like it's more for showing other people you love your partner than actually loving them (his thoughts. I know y'all like to tussle)

You'd have to ask him to do those things if you're into it. Doesn't mean he'll be good at it though

Since he's such a combat heavy, “I don't want peace, I want PROBLEMS ALWAYS” type of guy I can see him also showing affection by giving you things to improve your combat

He'd give you weapons that he knows you specialize in. Like, if you're someone who uses a spear, he'd go out of his way to get you a new one.

His version of affection is subtle but it's definitely there.

Kuai Liang

Kuai Liang is definitely more comfortable when it comes to affection

I can see him also giving you gifts for combat. Bi-Han gives you things you specialize in, but Kuai Liang is the type to give some of his weapons

Kuai Liang is gone a lot so I think he'd show affection by giving you things that belong to him so you'll have something to remember him, and you can give him something of yours

I can see him giving gifts in general to make up for his absence in your relationship. He wouldn't just throw gifts at you though. It'd be gifts he specifically knows you'd enjoy

Kuai Liang pays lots of attention to you so anything he gives you would be perfect. You wouldn't have to worry about having to fake being happy because he pays too much attention to give you smth shitty

Memorizes very small details about you too. Does this count as affection? Depends on who you ask.

He's also more comfortable with being physical so I can see him touching you a lot. No I don't mean sexually. I'd never write such a thing and y'all have no proof 🙄

In all seriousness, I think he enjoys casual physical touch. The type to randomly put a hand on your shoulder or place his hand on your thigh

Compliments you a lot also. Lots of skill based compliments

Compliments you on your fighting or hobbies you're improving in.

I feel like his version of affection is very stereotypical, ya know? The hand holding, the walking alone, the various compliments, shit people think of when they think of a relationship

I do however think he'd prefer some stuff to be in private. Everyone doesn't need to see you two do everything if that makes sense

You'd feel very loved with him though

He really gives me the vibes of a stereotypical loving husband. He's grown. Life is short. Why wouldn't he show you how much he cares?

Tomas Vrbada

I think his version of affection would be lots and lots of quality time

He legit wants to do everything with you. Not in a toxic and obsessive way. He just enjoys your company

He'd probably worry he's being annoying but when he's reassured that it's ok, he's on your heels

I think he'd enjoy making things with you. Could be jewelry. Could be cooking. Could be baking. As long as it's something together and you can share it, he enjoys it

He's probably fine with public affection too as long as it's not extremely intense. Don't try to stick your tongue down his throat in public. Have some decorum.

I can also see him being so in love with someone that he talks about them often. So much so, word would end up getting back to you that he just won't shut the fuck up

I think he'd be ok with physical touch. I can see him being cool with hanging out and cuddling. It'd be such a change of pace compared to the usual hostile and combat filled life he lives

He really enjoys your presence and being around someone who's peaceful and doesn't have unnecessarily high expectations of him

Back to what I said earlier about cooking, I think that would be his favorite thing to do with you. Food can bring people together and inviting you to cook or bake with him brings you two closer. He'd probably let you pick what to make too.

I can see him doing corny shit too if you asked. Like if you said “hey can you write me a love letter even though we're sitting right next to each other?”, he'd probably say “umm, sure”.

I just think he'd really enjoy having a person that was just for him and it'd be very very clear

Similar mindset to Kuai Liang in terms of “why wouldn’t I show my partner affection when I can die at any point?”

You always knew Rain was a passionate lover. The same efforts and care he put in his magic and knowledge, ten times more went into you. So when he had you against the wall in his office, surrounded by his own creations and scrolls only you knew about, it was make out city. The way his lips molded to yours should've been illegal with how mesmerizing it was. His hands were no stranger to your hips; you were like a shiny antique on his bookshelf he cherished. If you dare to run your fingers through his hair while you kissed, you can and will get taken on this same wall.

Smoke

Smoke was always the kind of man to start slow/gentle and gradually become more aggressive in his ways. However, some things just drive him crazy. You drive him crazy. His patience went just like that, and now here you both are groaning and whining into each other's mouths. Your lips just looked so soft, they were calling his name in a taunting manner. Now, he's not so aggressive that you hit the wall harshly, no, the contrasting feathery touch of his hands gliding along your body to the hunger in his kiss was just enough to get both of you to the next level of passion.

Shang Tsung

Shang Tsung is only ever gentle with you. His aura was just so powerful in itself, all he had to do was walk you into the wall. He didn't need to push you against it to assert dominance. His eyes never dared to dart from yours, especially when you looked so cute trying to hold his gaze. If it were a third person point of view they'd think you're under hypnosis. One face caress and your lips locked with his. If you thought he was power hungry individual before? You haven't seen anything yet.

Reptile

Syzoth is a mystery. On one hand he's a romantic lover and on the other, his Zaterran instincts get the best of him. His abnormal strength always lead to him picking you up in some way shape or form, so here you were on the wall and straddling his waist all because he got excited. Being a monster fucker had its perks since his lizard tongue didn't change with his human form, and that didn't bother you at all. In fact, you welcomed it every time you kissed; once he figured that out he used to his advantage every time.

Kung Lao

Kung Lao is the type of man who was driven by pride, so he was bound to tease you to no end anytime soon. His kisses were usually feverish and slightly aggressive with a touch of a sweet side. Once he gets you on that wall from all that teasing and shit talking it's no different. Only the sound of heavy breaths, lips smacking, and clothes rubbing against each other filled the room every time it happened. He smirks into the kiss every. single. time. He refuses to let you slip away from him even for a moment. His hands have to always be on you, which especially isn't hard to do when you literally have nowhere else to go. But hey, any objections? Didn't think so!
