Slenderman uses his tentacles to feel the area around him because he’s blind. He can also sense movement very, very well, to the point if your heart is beating too fast or hard he can sense it. It has a range though. If you’re 15 meters away, he can sense your heartbeat. If you’re within 40 meters he can sense your running. And anything farther than that is too distant for Slender to sense.

Slenderman also has very unique skin. Very few get close enough to touch him, even his own proxies, but if you WERE to touch him he’d feel smooth and almost silky, but also slightly damp. His entire body is extremely cold, so cold that you can genuinely get frostbite (but this only happens if you touch him for over an hour without pulling away).

The reason Slenderman gets so angry about people taking his pages is because they mark the borders of his territory. Whenever a new proxy goes insane due to the Slender Sickness, they’ll hastily scribble those pages, and then plaster them everywhere. Those pages Slenderman will be able to use to control where his proxies go, sort of like a border he can sense. Without them, his proxies could go anywhere without Slender’s direction, and potentially escape.

Becoming a Proxy

I don’t think ‘Slendermans Proxy’ was a particularly tempting offer, so I’m gonna explain how I think Slenderman would convince his Proxies to… yk, become Proxies.

Slenderman would make you feel helpless. He would convince you in that buzzing voice that knocks around in your skull that, you have no choice. You’re homeless, injured, and wanted for murder. Why not join him? Serve him, work with his other Proxies, and you’ll have a house, food, and clothes. You’ll never have to worry about being homeless ever again. It’ll be perfect, he’ll tell you.

He’ll treat you nicely. He’ll give you a warm plate of food after you’ve showered and changed, and he’ll sit with you and talk. He’ll make you feel safe, keep this going for about a week until you’ve finally made your decision. Now you were his.

He’d assure you that you’d be sent on harmless missions. He’d send you out to get supplies like food and toiletries. Harmless things.

Then, when you’ve been thoroughly convinced, he’d give you your own cabin in his woods. Power and water were free. He’d even let you live outside of the woods, inside of a cabin of your own.

Then the branding came. When everything was done, he would burn that mark into your skin. He’d say it’s for the best, so he would never lose you. You’d agree, because he’s been so nice to you for all this time, what could go wrong? So you’d pick the spot. It would burn like a bitch, but once it would be over it wouldn’t hurt, and you’d have the brand. A simple “⦻” burned into maybe your chest, back, or hand.

He’d assign you a partner, someone he knew you’d get along with well. He’d tell you all about them, and them all about you. He would make sure you two become good friends.

Then he’d start to send you on more daunting missions. Killing those who try to make his presence known, or capturing more Proxies for him. The missions would slowly become more dangerous, and you’d start to realize this wasn’t what it had first seemed.

Now you’re stuck. You’re never going to leave because now you realize, the mark wasn’t just a branding, it somehow told Slenderman where you were at all times. And since he could read your thoughts, he’d always know if you were planning to leave. You were stuck. Forever.

And I think he’d let you know that you were stuck with him, until he decided you were of no use to him anymore.

Slenderman Sighting Update (Post № 2)

For those of you keeping up, I'm bringing another update from the dementia hall. If not here's a link for my first post on this subject.

That old lady is STILL window gazing, still seeing her tall man in a black suit. She still asks me, and my coworkers to look out the window with her, to see him.

However, this week, she's started asking other patients to come look out the window with her.

And what's more, last night, she called me over during dinner to where she was sitting. She always sits so she can look out the patio windows, and the hilled woods beyond the fence.

She says "Do you see those young people? They're climbing down the side of the hill."

Me: *mumbling something that I hope sounds positive*

Her: "They've got a rope this time, so they're going faster. I've been watching them for a week"

Me: What about the man in the suit?

She: Oh he's been waiting for them at the bottom. I think he threw up the rope to them

So I guess the proxies are coming now. Perfect, just great, now I'll never be able to resist 🤦🏻‍♀️

if your room is close to Jeff or Ben,you're not getting any sleep.Both of them would play loud obnoxious music;Jeff would blast metal while the blonde would play hours of techno music while gaming sounds would be heard plus inappropriate loud sounds from whatever he's watching/playing/enjoying himself to

The calmest and safest times are during breakfast or when the others eat in general,everytime someone is in the kitchen they just do their own thing and leave

EJ doesn't need sleep,so if you happen to wander the hallways at night you might bump into him

Slenderman doesn't care about anything that doesn't directly affect him,he would actually be pissed if a resident would complain about something that he doesn't care about,that's why all the creeps can be unhinged at times

One violent fight has to happen at least once per month we all know the violent motherfuckers who start it and an argument has to happen at least once per day

If you're a shy and an empathetic person then your stay in the mansion can be hell,that's why you should stick with the ones who can make your life a little bearable

Even lone wolves like EJ and Bloody Painter don't stay alone for long periods of time.If you're isolated for a long period of time you might hear the static again..some say it's Slenderman who doesn't want his creeps to be alone because the eldritch might care about them,some say that it's because their loneliness can get into their quality of work and it would piss him off

Besides the blood and the desperation,most creeps keep themselves clean,but you might see some residents like Jeff who can wear the same pair of sweatpants for 7 days in a row

If you need money you can simply go to Ben,he will either order what you need for you or make himself useful and get you some cash,altough he is a little fuck and wants something in return even if it's HIS JOB to provide the residents what they need.Maybe a blowjob under the desk will do

Drugs are easy to obtain,even Nina has a bottle of something hidden inside her room,you just have to know what you want

One of the top unspoken rules between the residents is to never,in under any circumstances,never enter another creep's room without permision,the only keys that are provided are to proxies rooms.
