I said the same on my twitter and I will say it here, I want to thank all the people who support me and even if I am not so active, enjoy my drawings in some way, thank you very much <3!
Sometimes I think about if I really want to be an artist, I mean, to become a recognized one if I do, I would like to but even now, sometimes it's exhausting and distressing, although of course, it has its good things haha
Secret to drawing old people from someone who has drawn like... One old person: figure out where wrinkles are placed and get comfy drawing them, especially eye bags and forehead wrinkles. There's also that crease from the nostrils that connects to the corners of the mouth. Also try looking at how skulls look, the more people age the more their skin kind of looks like it's just draped on top of their skull. Hope this helps, best of luck👍👋
Thank you sm!! It helps me a lot!! I'll try to practice! 🐱
Ok so this is advice i got froma video but basically ditch the shape you always use for heads. The big top part and small bottom one is specifically a child-like feature (hence why anime kids have them more). Instead you could go for a small top part and big bottom, have them equal as an elipse, equal as a rectangular-ish. Dont necessarily make the eyes big nor scale them the way you do with other characters. Biggen other features, be it eye lids, cheecks, chins. Their necks also arent necessarily thin unless they themselves are. Then again, this is generally cartoony applicable advice, might not work great for everything.
Now its your turn to teach me how to shade
Is it god giving me advice that fixes LIVES? /j thank you so much for the advice 😭!!! (I will also try to do a shading tutorial, when I get more of a feel for how I do it since it's basically trial and error) 🐱
