We’ve all heard of mansplaining. Now get ready for: PJO book purist-splaining. It’s like mansplaining, but every time you even think about liking a change made in the show, they jump down your throat with “ACTUALLY in the books…” because the show is “doing it all wrong” and the change is “so out of character” and “doesn’t even make sense :/”

lin manuel miranda as hermes is incredible actually. i think it was valid some people were unsure about his casting at first, since he's such a recognizable (and heavily memed) celebrity, but that man can act. his delivery, the intensity behind his eyes... he was immersed and in character every single moment he was on screen. imo he was really great and believable as hermes, and i really enjoyed his performance

absolutely obsessed with silver’s character. you meet him in season one and his whole thing is that he’s just a little guy. except he’s not and he’s already manipulating his way into the crew and flint’s mind. by season four you know how powerful he can be and looking back is so crazy because like. how much of it was true? for almost two seasons you’re led to believe he’s not as ruthless as flint but he literally murders a guy in his first scene. i am insane about him

Why am I seeing people suddenly saying Good Omens s2 was actually badly written?
It was a fun little journey into the lives of Crowley and Aziraphale with lower stakes than s1, it was a lot of fun and that’s what it was supposed to be, fun. Does the fact that the plot is simple and a little goofy means it’s badly written now? Why? Not every show has to be mind blowing high brow super deep and meaningful, sometimes they can just be silly.
Hell, What We Do In The Shadows is 5 seasons of dumb vampires doing stupid stuff with no plot whatsoever and it’s one of my all time favourite shows, sometimes we can have just that and it’s ok!
