“What a shame. It was entertaining while it lasted.” Your entrance alerts your soldiers and the Arataki Gang on their feet. You slowly applaud the perpetrators' sabotage of the performance organized by the Yashiro Commission. Itto laughs, patting his hands on his coat and smoothing out his hair.
“Well, well, well. If it isn’t my favorite officer.” Your soldiers point their weapons at him simultaneously, making the gang leader whip out his hands in the air. “Chill, I’m not here to look for any trouble. Since you’re here, I want to talk to you. Alone.”
You glance at your soldiers who still feel threatened by the Arataki Gang’s presence, raising your hand to make them surrender. “Stand down. Leave us.”
Skeptical of your command, they exchange looks with one another before leaving the area. Itto does the same to his boys, telling him that he’ll meet up with them later. He leads you to a tree where the two of you can talk amongst yourselves without any interruption.
“My boys told me that you were the one who exposed the Tenryou Commissioner and the Kanjou Commissioner for their crimes. Not to mention that one of them is your Commissioner,” he says.
You scoff. Everyone knows the news of a low-ranking officer who single-handedly caused the downfall of both said commissions and the clans that lead them by heart by now. “Couldn’t have done it without any help. I’m no detective, but I had a hunch that they’re suspicious. Not my fault that they brought it upon themselves. Shit, it almost cost me my position.”
“Aw, you would have joined my gang. We would be ‘three-quarters’ unemployed together.”
“In your dreams, Arataki,” you scoff at his joke. In the corner of your eye, he’s staring at you intensely with a smirk. “What? Ah—!”
The Crimson Oni pins you against the trunk, arms immobilizing your movements. You’ve been underestimating his strength for so long that you wouldn’t think he’ll do something like this. “I would prefer it if you did, Officer. We’re fun, unlike a certain general. Plus, you’ll see this handsome face every day.”
“Hm, maybe I would’ve preferred that way. But to be honest…” You pull him by his collar, your lips practically brushing against his. “I prefer the thrill of you chasing after me.”
His self-control snaps, growls rumbling in his throat. He crashes his lips against yours while tightening his hold on you. “Archons, Officer. Don’t say things you’re going to regret later.”
You pull away to catch a breath, only for him to steal it away. “I… Mmph! I don’t live too far from here.”
“Shit, are you sure you want to do this?” You respond with a groan, and for the finale he gives you one more kiss — a very brief one. “Mm… I have an idea. As an apology, why don’t you make me the star of your show instead?”

thoma ⋆ ࣪. ᓚᘏᗢ
- you died in battle.
- as part of the resistance, you were challenged to a fight of honour by sara
- you accepted... and didn't make it out alive.
- there's a reason why the whole resistance wasn't exactly for the traveller taking part in the fight of honour...
- because they had literally watched you die on the battlefield from it.
- anyways, back to thoma...
- he grieved for almost a month straight, thinking of all the things he used to do with you
- stargazing, picnicking, discussions over the resistance, walking to meetings together... all these little things he took for granted until you were gone.
- he wasn't your usually-cheerful thoma :")
- thoma kept hugging your old pictures close to him and ayaka would usually find him sitting on the rocks, a picture of you in his hand
- "shh, it'll be okay. they're in a much better place now." she weeps with him, rubbing his back.
- yeah... thoma would be alright. maybe not now, maybe not near in the future. but one day. he'd never forget you either.
gorou ⋆ ࣪. ᓚᘏᗢ
- gorou was a mess after you were gone.
- he was constantly crying, constantly grieving. kazuha had to comfort him almost 24/7, because the you-shaped hole in his heart left a bigger impact than what anyone could have imagine
- gorou genuinely had a hard time coping with your loss. nights after nights of crying, mourning and grieving turned him into someone that felt emotionally numb for a while
- the concept of your loss was really hard for him to grasp – kokomi just watched him, a sad look on her face
- she tried to comfort him in all the ways she could but it was hard to know how the man was feeling.
- gorou wept and wept until he couldn't cry anymore; his voice hoarse with the tears and the pain that wrapped around his throat, squeezing it tightly – he couldn't breathe. it was swallowing him up from the inside.
- the pain eventually went away, but it wasn't as easy as it seemed
- nights of yearning for you turned into weeks, then months. gorou's recovery period was much longer than he thought it would be.
- he would never forget you, though. he loved you too much to do so.
- "(y/n)... i miss you. do you miss me up there? i hope you do. i'll never forget you."
kazuha ⋆ ࣪. ᓚᘏᗢ
- oh man.
- kazuha was, understandably, distraught after he had learnt of your passing away
- it took beidou weeks to get him to come out of his room in the alcor to do anything else other than eat or bathroom. or navigate or something.
- he mourned for weeks, the idea of you gone not fully processing and still raw with shock. thoma and gorou had tried their best to cheer him up, but they were also still processing your death.
- simply put, kazuha hated living life without you.
- he hated not being able to stare at the sea with you at night
- or go fishing when the alcor stopped at guyun stone forest
- or gazing at the night sky from the crow's nest
- kazuha was lonely. without his lover by his side, life felt meaningless. even with beidou, or the crew... life had lost that spark to it.
- "(y-y/n)? i really miss you tonight. more so especially. i saw a silk flower today, and it reminded me of the shade of your clothes you always wore. i hope you're in celestia, remembering me.. as the time passes us by, and as i get older... i will never forget you, my love."
- kazuha would never forget you. the salty sea smell, your jackets that hung on his door, your letters to him... all these little reminders would never make his memory of you go away.

I was thinking about the end of your Ayato series. So the series ends with a planned trip to Mondstadt. Ayato and reader's going to end up meeting Kaeya again.
Do you an idea on how the meeting with Ayato, reader and Kaeya is going to go down? Just curious if you had any headcanons or a short scene of how things went down hehehe.

Hi hi Sherry! (hopefully you're okay with me calling you that since i see it on your blog.)
Thank you for your interest in my series! As things stand so far the fic has 7 chapters but i plan for it to go up to 10 so that its complete and it feels like a good number on which to end it on since i don't want to drag things out. the trip itself is both to mond and liyue so really ayato and reader will be there for a limited time, just feel like it wouldn't make sense for the yashiro commissioner to be away from inazuma for like months.
i will post the next part fairly soon so i don't want to give too much away but all i can say is 'two blue men really will meet one another and they will be sassy sassy while reader has to figure out certain truths and put things into perspective.' but i also plan to have them meet each other away from the public view in a way keke.
hopefully i am able to finish the fic in the way that it feels fulfilling.

diluc’s deep voice would always surrounded your fancy room with humming of lullabies; Either if it’s the chirping of birds that accompanied both of your night together or if it’s the silence devotion which shown in every inch of his delicate ruby eyes. he would always stay within the radiance of you, even if it meant for him to endanger his fragile life. His warmth was never-ending, satisfaction always linger through the breeze. Never as a lover he left you, but is it ironic how his love was unconditionally made just for you? “how come your warm is beautiful diluc..you’re a servant, not the one who cares my living being” “hmm? that’s exactly what i am, a servant..of love, dove.” what meant to be a portray of love, when you had him by your side. A gentlesoul, the most purest of ‘em all. He cares your waist, step and bow, he managed to make the movements succeed as expected. Perfect. dancing night to night; outstanding the beauty of the nobles, he fell in love. Thus So, he kisses your lips, the drying lips that await his lingering warmth. When he let you touch his blind eye, how does it feel to realized you both were in love? To trust one another is a beauty, to have a home to linger is a perfection. He is the star that stay in the most beautiful night, the star to your own home. your promises with him are all eternal, “found me again in another life” , he kisses your cheekbones..“your orders are my command, love” he ended the embrace with a warm cold of affection, oh..he count you as precious. he was deeply scared of abandonment. because this feeling he had..was wonderful enough to be dream of. He cried so many tears, whimpers of beg and even frustration, in front of you. But you seem to accept and it feels as if he was in the same bound as you, the endearing star of your home. To whisper another promises by the lips, he kisses the lips that reassure his days. the night seems like a devotion to you, how the salty tears ended up frosting your lips with sweetness..he trust you once more. Albedo — the light of servings
albedo’s finger always seems to protect you, either from the melted candle beside your bathtub..the roses that scarred your skin-tips and the warm feeling of dying in a noble courses. Albedo couldn’t abandoned the feeling of being in love, he wasn’t sure either if it’s right to accept such a thing in the first place. Letting your hand intertwined with his palm; the craving wonderful feeling of being accompanied. letting the star in his neck brightened your day, he has learnt too much about affection from you. Albedo learns how to share an emotion, with the person he serves, with the person he used to despised, with the person who loved him…for every each part of him. Thus he continued to let your night be as special as you want it to be, as Albedo finally understand what does companion actually meant. he has too many debts and you’re one of them. The steps of his hands, soothes your face to relaxation. Here he is standing above you, kissing the fracturing part of you, the thirst beyond anything…your lips finally touch his bare tongue, oh dear, is this what satisfaction feels like? The candles scent that melted onto the air, the lovely medium breeze that taunted the walls. He was the brightest light in the darkest night. His kisses are beautiful, made for his one and only everything, the person who changed his nights. “Master…you really astonished me, didn’t you?”

Pocky Game headcanons
Summary: They play the pocky game with you

Childe
He’s heard about it but he’s never played it with you
“Oh? A challenge?”
Or he might say “Aw [name] if you want to make out with me just say so <3”
You turn to walk away and right after, he scurries after you saying “I’M KIDDING, PLEASE”
He thinks to himself maybe if somehow he pulls the pocky towards himself, he’ll pull you closer and fluster you
He jerks himself backwards but unfortunately you didn’t budge, so the pocky stick broke instead
He whines in frustration and demands a rematch bc “I nEvER lOSE”
In the second round, he just plays the game normally without trying anything funny
You have sweet kiss, the taste of chocolate filling your mouth, and of course he wins because you forgot you were in playing a game and you broke away first <3
Zhongli
You think Zhongli wouldn’t know what the pocky game is, but he’s heard of it and he’s got the gist of it. He just has to clarify some tiny details with you
He keeps his gaze on you without looking away the whole time
It makes you flustered and you look away because you know the feeling when you’re embarrassed about being shy but other people look like stuff is nothing to them? Yeah that
you secretly think he’s played this game before and he wants to catch you off guard
(But you don't notice the way the tips of his ears gradually redden)
He doesn’t try do anything funny at all which makes you even more nervous that he’s got something hidden up his sleeve
When you hesitate in advancing, he continues. When his lips brush yours, you fall backwards out of embarrassment
He lets out a hearty laugh and chases after you for a kiss.
Diluc
He scowled when you asked
(but you know he’s just shy)
The shorter the length of the pocky stick left, the more he looks away
If you’re embarrassed like him, there are times the game comes to a standstill and both of you are so close to each other your faces get VERY hot
You say, with the pocky still in your mouth, “Do you want to stop? It’s okay-”
“No, we’ll continue.” (says Diluc, with hints of shaky determination.)
And right after that he takes a small nibble on the stick
You have to suppress the urge to giggle throughout the game
Both of you finish the game, with Diluc briskly making his way out of the room (and the heat of his lips lingering on yours)
