In the middle of reading HoO for the first time and want to give my headcanons of the character heights:
Percy: 6’1, He was the same height as Annabeth in TLO, then he had a glow up after staying in the big house with the wolves.
Annabeth: 5’10.5, It seriously messes with my head that she was a whole entire 5’9 at the age of 12, and then she proceeded to get taller after that.
Jason: 6’3, He’s a very big lad, and I attribute that to Zeus/Jupiter kids being naturally tall.
Piper: 5’7, Just feels right, that’s it.
Leo: 5’4, Then 5’10 after a growth spurt, which he would absolutely hold over Piper’s head.
Hazel: 5’2, Used to think she would get taller but my opinion changed. She’s the shortest of the seven.
Frank: 5’9, 6’0 after the blessing of Mars.
Reyna: 6’0, Big strong lesbian woman, no more context needed.
Nico: 5’5-5’6, I don’t think he’s as ridiculously short as other people say. He’s certainly short alright, but he’s not, let’s say, as short as Coach Hedge.

when you guys walk around in public he probably puts an arm around your shoulders every once in awhile to remind you he’s still taller
he loves you but he loves that he’s taller than someone for once even more
but when someone in the street points out your (or his) height they never see the light of day ever again. actually they don’t see anything at all because they get killed
although his love language is gift giving because you’re shorter than him sometimes he likes to push the hair out of your face and lean down and just kiss your forehead

his hugs are amazing though
and of course he grabs the things off the tall shelf he’s not a monster
sometimes he even lifts you onto his shoulder to let you get it yourself and see the world at a new angle but he is oh so careful not to drop you
when he isn’t fearing for your life and his sanity about your life possibly ending he likes when you just lay on him because you look so tiny and comfortable

My SDV height + age hcs
(Quick note: I am a short girl, like not even 160 cm (5’3) so my perception of tall people may be different from yours. Also, I used metric system so if the feet and inches are wrong, do tell so I can correct it)
Bachelorettes
• Abigail
I actually like her to be so short that she made Sebastian look tall and Sam looked like a giant so maybe at most 160 cm (5’3) but I like her to be 155 cm (5’1). To me, she’s the youngest in the trio but not by much so maybe 21-22.
• Emily
She and Haley (and Leah) are the taller bachelorettes, definitely above 170 cm (5’7) not as tall as Haley but still pretty tall. I think she’s about 173 cm (5’8). She’s definitely one of the older bachelorettes and I like her a bit older than Leah so 31-32.
• Haley
The tallest bachelorette, she could be a model in the city due to her beauty and height. She’s at LEAST 175 cm (5’9) but she can be taller. A bit older than Abigail, so 23.
• Leah
One of the taller bachelorettes but still shorter than the sisters, 170 cm (5’7) is perfect to me. She’s a bit younger than Emily and Elliott but still one of the older marriageable character so 28-30 years old.
• Maru
Despite both Robin and Demetrius being tall, Maru is average at most. She’s not short but not as tall either, I think 165 cm (5’5) is perfect height for her. IMO she’s the youngest bachelorette and the youngest marriageable character overall, she’s a genius so I think she skipped grades and gets degree earlier. 19-20 years old.
• Penny
If Abigail is short, then Penny is tiny. Her and Pam are very short so they make many of the residents look tall, she’s no more than 152 cm (5’0). She’s slightly older than the ASS trio (+Alex and Haley) but she’s not part of the older marriageable characters so she’s about 24-25 years old.
Bachelors
• Alex
He’s a pretty tall and athletic guy, definitely above average so I think he’s about 183-185 cm (6’0-6’1). He’s the same age as Haley, Sebastian, and Sam (23 years old).
• Elliott
He’s built like those hunks in bodice ripper novel covers so he’s TALL, at the very least he’s 188 cm (6’2). He’s one of the older marriageable character and he’s definitely in his 30s, my hc is that he’s the youngest one in the trio of older bachelors so I think he’s about 32 years old.
• Harvey
He’s like a Slenderman, very tall and lanky. To me, he’s the tallest bachelor and one of the tallest characters. He’s actually 195 cm (6’4ish) but he has terrible posture so he looks 190-191 cm (6’3). He’s the oldest canon marriageable character and he has MD so he’s at least 34 years old but I think he’s 37.
• Sam
He’s above average but has long limbs that made him look taller, he’s 180-182 cm (5’11) but sometimes likes to claim he’s 6’0. Despite acting like a teenager, he’s 23.
• Sebastian
Robin might be tall but he did not get her genes on that one, the rest? Sure, especially his face but not height, sadly. I think 173 cm (5’8) is the perfect height for him, but sometimes I like to make him 170 cm (5’7) for shits and giggles. 23 years old.
• Shane
SHORT KING, shortest bachelor and at most he’s 165 cm (5’5). He’s in his 30s (34-36 to be more specific).

The Noldoran Finvesens
Finwë Noldoran (b. 1922, d. 2015, aged 92, natural causes). 6'. WW2 veteran and founder of Tirion Technical University in Valin, Aman. A Noldorin revolutionary sympathiser.
Míriel Noldoran, née Weber. (b. 1925, d. 1960, aged 35, pancreatic cancer). 5’2”. Finwë's first wife. They were very much in love and wished to have children but were never successful.
Fëanor Finvesen (b. 1958), 65. 5’11”. Adopted by Finwë and Míriel in 1960. Míriel died the first month of his adoption. His biological mother committed suicide and his father was incarcerated for sedition in the Noldorin Revolution and never released. Bachelor of Arts and Sciences (joint), Masters Civil Engineering, PhD Economics. Left Valin for Beleria, Endor, in 2016 after losing a major land ownership lawsuit against the government of Aman. Founder and President of Ambar Metta Development Group.
Nerdanel Finvesen (b. 1957), 66. 5’7”. Retired landscape architect. Sculptor, occasionally does public art projects. Studied at Tirion Technical University, where she met Fëanor.

The Story:
After stumbling into the wrong place at the wrong time, you became witness to something that no one was ever meant to see. Something that could literally change the world - for good or ill. Something so big that it threatens to eat you alive, to destroy you from within.
And, unfortunately, something that you can’t quite seem to remember, beyond the scar it left on your mind… and the mark it left on your body.
This terrible knowledge, whatever it may be, has left you blighted, a curse that slowly devours you. If left unchecked, it will ravage your mind and turn you into a ruthless, nearly-invincible killing machine.
In an effort to save yourself from this fate - or at least stall it - you have traveled to the city of Nivio, Nebraska in midwestern America, the so-called Magic Capital of the World. A local family of witches has offered their services, both in slowing the spread of the blight and in unlocking the memory of what caused it in the first place. Hopefully, somewhere within the city is the secret to your salvation.
If not, then all you can do is hope someone there is powerful enough to stop you.

The Characters:
The Witness - The player character. After a series of unfortunate events that you can’t quite remember, you find yourself cursed and running out of time. You are in a race against the clock to stop the blight from destroying your mind completely and, much as you might prefer to, you won’t be able to fix it alone.
Your name, appearance, supernatural race, gender, pronouns, and personality are all customizable. And ultimately, so is your fate.

Gavin Cowles - The Cowles family of witches are one of the most trusted in the world, and one of the few powerful enough to help with your condition. Gavin is the scion of the famous Mama Cowles, and his skill in protection magic is the only thing mitigating the spread of your blight.
Unfortunately, Gavin is also bad-tempered, grumpy, and sometimes even rude. He seems to not want anything to do with you outside of the magic he’s using to keep you alive. But then why is he helping you at all? And why has his daughter taken such a shine to you?
Gavin is 6’1” and lean, with pale skin, perpetually messy light blond hair, and black eyes almost always hidden behind equally dark sunglasses.
Gavin is male and uses he/him pronouns, and he is a romanceable character.

Anastasia “Ana” Leighton - Your new roommate. Ana has graciously volunteered to let you stay with her until your situation is sorted out. Her family has been friends with the Cowles for a long time, and despite how different they are, she seems to have a strong bond with your recalcitrant savior.
Ana is friendly and kind, always there with a helping hand or purposefully bad joke to ease tension, and she teases that she’s the only person in the house quieter than Gavin--but only because she’s mute. She seems to be going out of her way to make sure you feel welcome and included, but you can’t help but notice the sadness in her eyes sometimes when she thinks you aren’t looking.
Anastasia is 5’2” and curvy, with dark brown skin, shoulder-length coiled black hair, and dark brown eyes. Her ears are sharply pointed due to her half-fae heritage, and there is the faintest coppery shimmer to her skin.
Ana is female and uses she/her pronouns, and she is a romanceable character.

Casey Jones - Your bodyguard. Casey is uniquely suited to defending you, both from external threats and from the potential side-effects of your new reality. Just… don’t make the joke about their name. They know.
Casey is feisty, hot-headed, and energetic, something they claim they get from their abyssal heritage. They are also almost fatalistically loyal to you, even though you haven’t yet given them a reason to be. They’re a powerful friend to have, no doubt about that, but is it actually you that they’re drawn to? Or something else?
Casey is 5’8” with a sturdy, muscular build. They have russet brown skin, a short ginger mohawk, and lavender eyes with black sclera. They also have a pair of black horns curving close to their skull, the ends of which are capped with gold.
Casey's gender is determined by the player; they can be female (she/her), male (he/him), or non-binary (ae/aer). They are a romanceable character.

Malcolm/Mallory/Malachi Devaux - Mal has been inflicted with a similar blight to your own… but their case is much more advanced than yours. They try to keep your spirits high, but it’s clear that it’s taking a toll on them. And even clearer that your fate and theirs are intertwined, one way or another.
Mal is a gentle soul, careful and meticulous and extremely intelligent. They can come across as a bit arrogant, but you’re pretty sure it’s not intentional. They aren’t at all what you expected from a werewolf, but you think maybe that’s the point.
Mal is 5’10” and of average build. They have neatly styled silver-streaked brown hair (Mallory’s is mid-back length and kept in a neat braid, Malcolm’s is medium-length, Malachi’s is shoulder-length. Malcolm also has a short, tidy beard), warm beige skin, and gray-blue eyes like those of a wolf.
Mal's gender is determined by the player; they can be male (he/him), female (she/her), or non-binary (he/she/they). They are a romanceable character.

Anya Cowles - Precocious and outgoing, 7-year-old Anya isn’t what you expected from the daughter of someone like Gavin. She’s just beginning her training as a Witch, taught by her father and grandmother, but she has other gifts that are starting to develop as well. Powerful, dangerous gifts that may be the key to solving your blight… or losing yourself to it entirely.
Anya is 3’10”, with shoulder-length light blond hair, gray eyes, and pale skin. She’s currently missing her two front teeth, but she assures you the tooth fairy gave her a good deal for them.
Anya is female, and uses she/her pronouns. She is very much not a romanceable character, but winning her over will be a key factor in establishing any kind of favorable relationship with her father.

“You sure you’re ready for this?” Ask Blake. He adjust his hand grips. I take a hand full of chalk to not look suspicious.
“Yea, you think you can catch me?” I return.
“I’ve never worked with someone so… big before.” He replied.
Not really his fault. He never worked directly with Ivy, he worked with this one girl I was told. No more than a 120 and maybe 5’2. I was 6’1 and a solid 200 give or take.
“I’m good with falling.” I assure him. With a grunt Blake climbs into position and I follow suit. Soon we are both swinging in the air. Let go and fly.
The bar slips out of my grasp as I fall towards Blake. His hands barely reach mine. I stick myself a bit and pull in. Soon we are swinging on his bar in the air.
Someone gives out a whoop below us. I flip out of his hands carefully and land in the catch net.
“Ivy said you were good.” Camilla said with a smile. “You’re a pro. I think you can do a solo tonight. Blake?” She calls.
Blake flicks down. He has the same bored expression on.
“Yea they’re good. Probably wait for duo stuff till next week. Quick study though. I’m going to go.” He waves a bit and heads out of the arena.
“Don’t mind him, he’s a bit grumpy. Want a muffin?” Camilla asks.
I gladly accept. We sit together and she talks about how proud she is of her daughter and what not.
“What got you involved in the circus?” I ask when the conversation lapses.
“Oh you know. Money. Family and what not.” She replies flippant. My tingle goes off a bit. She’s lying but about what?
“Did you ever preform?”
“Uhm not really. Did ring leader stuff for a year or two and then just dropped behind scenes and managing.”
“Did you ever travel?”
“Oh yes. I didn’t make this circus. Sort of came into. Use to be part of a bigger traveling group. But then I had Ivy and most of those here got older and we wanted to settle. Brought in less money so I opened the shop you know.”
“That’s cool.”
“Yes it was.” Camilla stands and brushes herself off. “We have a big show tonight Knox, I think you need some rest.”

Hiyaa~! Big Red Rising fan + new to the fandom here and I was hoping for some help. I swear I saw someone post a speculative character height chart but I can't find it again... You wouldn't happen to know it OR (maybe better) what would your character height chart be? (Not for everyone, mostly just Darrow and the gang)

I don’t know about a chart, but I do know Pierce did an AMA on Reddit several years ago where he answered this question, which I cannot find at the moment 😂 (if any of my followers has that, please help a fellow howler out) (also apologies if you’re a metric system person, but both pierce and I are american and use the Dumb measurements)
I do remember he said that Darrow and Cassius hover around 7 feet, victra’s a bit shorter, in the upper 6’ range, mustangs about 6’1, sevro is 5’9, and red Darrow was about 5’4 (which, as someone who is 5’2…devastating).
Idk about you, I tend not to picture actual heights, more vibes so I think as far as golds go, Darrow, Cassius, and victra are tall, mustangs average, and sevros short. The telemanuses are Tall (probably in the mid-7’ range).
As for other characters I’d consider “mains”, I believe Volga has been described as small for an obsidian, in the mid 6’ range. Ephraim says once that he’s 1.75m, so he’s about sevros height, which makes me laugh.
I don’t picture Lysander as being as tall as Cassius, but Virginia does describe him as quite a bit taller than her, so I’d put him in the upper 6s with victra.
Lyria I’d say is probably 4’11 or so (because I need to be taller than someone). I think red women are probably usually under 5’ and red men probably max out at about 5’6 due to malnutrition and harsh environments. Also, she describes everyone she meets as being very tall, which is such a relatable short person thing. If you’re more than a 4-5 inches taller than me, you’re tall, and don’t ask me to guess your height because the perspective is skewed from down here and I literally can’t tell.

Constance is the shortest at like 5’2” but nobody teased her about it cause she’s so sweet
Ocean is next at like 5’4” and the teasing is MERCILESS

Ricky is like the medium sized one of the group when he’s using his crutches at like 5’7” which is like the perfect size since he can now get Short Hugs™️ from Ocean and Constance and Tall Hugs™️ from Noel, Penny, and Mischa
This is very good, because Ricky likes hugs
Noel is the third tallest at 5’9” and he loves just kinda looking over Oceans head while they’re talking because it makes her so mad and it’s so funny

I decided to create bios for my new ocs because I absolutely love them already, and I wanna give them all the attention they need!! And I hope y’all love them as well!!
Litton the Knight
Name: Litton Hughes (transmasc, he/him)
Age: 38
Height: 6’1
Sexuality: Gay
Bio: Litton is a British man, servicing as a knight for the kingdom of Utozia. He is very intelligent, he is in fact bilingual, and a little book worm. But for someone who is smart, you can say he sometimes has his head in the clouds, given the fact everyone in his kingdom praises him a lot for being so strong, handsome, etc. Litton grew up in a loving and supporting family, they practically spoiled him with unconditional love, but Litton is thankfully not a snarky spoiled brat. In saving Princess Ellis, he develops a friendship with her. But as for Tog and Lorelei along the journey, not likely. Especially Tog…?
Tog the Orc
Name: Tog (male, he/him)
Age: 40
Height: 7’2
Sexuality: Panromantic, Ace
Bio: Tog is an introverted orc who isolates himself in the middle of the forest. Well, he is not necessarily alone, he in fact has his human mother (Anastasia) that looks after him. Many years ago when Tog was a baby, his parents tried to eat him, but Anastasia came in to rescue the little orc. Tog was raised fair and well like a gentleman, and he definitely wasn’t used to receive love and affection, but he heavily appreciates his mother for looking after him. As Tog gotten older, he trained into being a bounty hunter, so he can collect bounty to support him and his mother. When word was let out that Princess Ellis was kidnapped and need of rescuing, he was promised a bounty of 200,000 coins. But when he finally reaches to the princess, he runs into Litton and Lorelei trying to get to her as well, and he is not fond of those two at all.

Bio: Ellis is the princess of the kingdom of Utozia. She is really kind, very soft spoken, and a gentle soul to all. She enjoys writing poems, painting, and creating dresses. What she dreams of doing is traveling to many places, and open a shop for her poems, art, and dresses. As much as her parents support her passions, they are very urgent to get Ellis to marry a prince, and raise a family. But one of Ellis’ biggest fears is her parents discovering that she loves women and have them get upset. On the day she has gotten kidnapped, and she meets Litton, Tog, and Lorelei, she often wonders if they can change her life.
Lorelei the Evil
Name: Lorelei Navahan (nonbinary, she/they)
Age: 32
Height: 5’11
Sexuality: Bisexual
Bio: Lorelei is a wanted thief in the kingdom of Utozia. But “thief” is a naughty word, and they prefer to be called a pickpocket. They’re not exactly a villain, but they’re definitely not a saint. Also they’re kind of a messy thief at times. Lorelei is really extroverted, sassy, and has a feisty attitude. They grew up in an orphanage when they were younger, but they were never adopted because no one wanted them. Due to having a bad attitude, Lorelei never had any friends or partners, but in their adult life they would swing from time to time. When hearing of a princess in need of rescuing, and they meet the princess, the privileged knight, and fat orc, they are totally up for the time of their miserable life.

Alright here we go, my take on the heights of All of Us Villains characters:
Alistair is 5’6” (168 cm), so not exceptionally short but he feels like it. It used to bother him because he didn’t feel as intimidating, but he likes his love interests taller than him (this is canon lmao)
Isobel is 5’9” (175 cm) and a few inches taller with heels. The press turns her height and how she dresses into a scandal, but she was ambivalent about it before then
Gavin is 6’1” (185 cm) but in the gym bro way that manages to seem impossibly tall
Briony is 5’4” (163 cm). She is very athletic and very stubborn, so she will do any amount of gymnastics to reach the top shelf short of actually asking for help
Finley is 5’10” (178 cm), solidly on the taller side. Plus, his perpetual good posture and commanding presence makes him look a few inches taller
Elionor is 5’2” (157 cm) and VERY mad about it. Carbry has called her a tiny angry cat on more than one occasion and he's the only one who can get away with it
Carbry is 5’5” (165 cm) but nobody believes it, he gives off such tiny vibes that everyone thinks of him as shorter than Briony
Hendry is 5’8” (173 cm), a totally average height that he 100% exaggerates to remind Alistair that he’s taller
Reid is 6’0” (183 cm), which looks normal on him until he takes off his leather vest and puts on his glasses, at which point his height seems awkward

Truly I think with no powers the Eileen/Uriel fight could go either way and she does have a chance — it depends on how quickly she’d be able to get him down, which in turn depends on how much he underestimates her — but absolutely the gap should not be that fucking big. Eileen is 5’2 and Uriel is 6’1 NONE of you have ever fought a grown man.

Malkuth - very young, nearly baby face. Her hair is naturally wavy but she wants to conform to the ideal office lady so she straightens if. 5’2/ 157 cm but she wears heels to appear taller
Yesod - very very pale. Looks older than he really is due to eye wrinkles. Has wonderful posture and also really really nice hands. His hair grows scary fast before it turns into a mullet
Netzach - a really really pretty man. He has long long hair in a wolf cut style with layers. Very tall, around 6’1/185 cm but has a bad back. If he wasn’t always in the cycle of addiction, he could be a model
Hod- adorable. Chubby face, cute smile. She has a tooth gap and she has difficulty brushing her hair in the morning. Bites her nails :(
