My name is Vincent Megason, I began my carrier in law enforcement in 2015 through the East Texas Police Academy in Kilgore, TX. I transferred from Anderson County Sheriff’s Office to the Clifton Police Department in 2018 as an officer before becoming the departments lead investigator following a devastating housefire. We moved here to start fresh in what seemed to be a very nice little town to live in and raise our family. However, since I’ve been at the Clifton Police department, I have seen first-hand the police misconduct and illegal activity that goes on here from insurance fraud, the commissioned killing of animals perpetrated by police officers and city workers, local election fraud, theft, destruction of evidence, illegal arrest, abuse of power, TECOLE fraud. These crimes have been committed by not only the department but also single Clifton police officers both previous and current, the as a whole department, and the towns elected and appointed officials. It has become more than clear to me that this town is anything but wholesome.

The knowledge of this information and the fabricated charges against me have cost me my career in law enforcement, the gross defamation of my character has tarnished my reputation, and my life and livelihood have been continuously threatened as well as my families. I have dates and the documentation for all the information stated in this letter is easily accessible by public records for anyone who chooses to seek it out, and I hope they do. At this time, I am being set up by the Clifton Police Department I worked for, including the District Judge, Shawn Carpenter, the District Attorney, Adam Sibley, the former Clifton chief of police Trace Hendrix (now the Sheriff of Bosque County), with the involvement of the Texas Rangers (friends of Trace Hendrix) to name a few. I am writing this letter in the hopes that a thorough investigation will be done to prove my innocence and to put a stop to the corrupt abuses occurring within the city of Clifton, Tx. I am going to begin from the very beginning, starting when I first became aware of the animal cruelty going on within the PD.

THE ANIMAL ABUSE

It is true that Clifton for some time now has had some issues with an abundance of stray animals within town that at times would pose problems for the residents which spurred some new local laws regarding animal treatment etc. What isn’t known to the town residents is that police officers as well as city workers are being commissioned and paid to go out at night and shoot and kill any dogs or cats they come across in town. There have even been reports made by residents of their own animals securely kept within their fenced in backyards shot dead, some of them tethered to the owner’s front porch. Docile, unaggressive family pets of town residents killed for no other reason but they were paid to do it. Another incidence where a homeowner’s dog had bitten someone and needed to be quarantined and tested for aggression a few days was instead taken directly to be euthanized without the owners knowledge later telling the owner that the dog must have somehow escaped and they were unable to find it. I later found out about the illegal dog pound located at the edge of town where dogs are housed inside an old concrete concession stand filled with cages at the old, now unused baseball field. This building is a torture chamber for animals as there is no ventilation, heat from the cold or air from the torturous heat of summer. Most animals unfortunate enough to be brought here to die from the elements and their bodies thrown into the nearby woods, not even buried. Those who don’t and are not claimed within a number of days are shot anyway. Seeing this and knowing this was going on, as an animal lover and owner of three dogs myself broke my heart and I wanted this to stop and have better policies regarding the treatment of animals, so I brought this up to Chief Trace Hendricks and was quickly told that I had better keep my mouth shut about it, if I wanted a future with the department and I got the feeling that my job would be in jeopardy otherwise. After a second incident were a small female child was bitten by a dog and the dog was taken to be quarantined at the animal shelter as they called it. One of the city employees went down to the shelter on Saturday to let the dogs outside, there was a sign on the cage which stated dangerous dog quarantine for 10 days. This employee lets the dog out where this dog began to attack him where a second city employee shot the dog in the head and killed the animal. Due to the dog being shot in the head the dog could not be tested for rabies and so the Police Department was sent to the child’s house who was originally attacked and told the dog was not able to be tested for rabies and they recommended the child have the rabies shot, which are very expensive and painful. A police report was done and the situation was swept under the rug by Trace Hendricks. With the second incident I felt as if this was going to keep going, I reached out to the department of health and human resources in Austin who regulates and assigns certificates for quarantinefacilities in Texas. I spoke with several people who put me in contact with an investigator who stated he could come down and look into things however he would issue tickets and possibly have to arrest someone for the illegal activities. I then went to Chief Trace Hendricks once again with this information as well at the city manager. Trace Hendricks stated to me to let it all go or it would be bad for me, he stated I needed to worry about me and my investigations within the department. In fear of my job and not being able to provide for my family, I let it all go.

THE PURCHASE OF THE HOUSE

How I came to purchase my home begins with a domestic violence call that led to the arrest of the male perpetrator who that night was very talkative on the ride to jail. He stated that he paid rent to his parents to stay there even though they did not even own the home. I then inquired as to who did in fact own the house and found it was owned by Beverly McLemore, a widow who when her husband passed was left a good number of rental properties and a sizable estate I would later come to find out. Being that her tenant had been arrested and would be doing some time I took it upon myself to locate her to let her know what had occurred there and being that my wife and I had been looking for a place to buy asked her if she had thought about selling the property. It was not in the best of shape and would need a complete remodel so she said she probably would so I asked her to give me a price she felt comfortable with and we’d go from there. She then told me $10,000 for it which blew my mind because even in rough shape it was a three bedroom brick home and it didn’t feel right to pay so little for it and I told her this. She went on to say that she had money and didn’t need any more and that was the reason that every single person living in her rental houses paid nothing but their utilities because she didn’t want to bother with getting it from them each month. (This too can be verified by the people who had been living there). I told her I could not do only $10,000, she told me $20,000 which I still said was low, she stated to me she would not take any more for the property. I told her we would take the house for $20,000, she asked if I could pay her in cash, which I did which I have paperwork on. She then had paperwork drawn up and signed and notarized in town by notary republic Jamie Pitts on March 25th, 2020. Mrs. McLemore was a kind-hearted lady and I always enjoyed chatting with her when I saw her and telling her about what we were doing with the house. Several months later I find out that she had passed away and that for some reason she had left her entire estate to me. This was shocking news and I didn’t know what to do with this or what moves I needed to make so I took the document to Judge Carpenter and the DA, Adam Sibley who I was at that time good friends with, to inquire about what I needed to do. They then directed me to an attorney I should talk to about it, which I did do but unfortunately, he was too busy to take my case on at that time. I decide to at least have it notarized for the time being until I could figure it out and did so through a fellow officer and notary republic in my department, I also considered a friend at that time named Les Perry, who when he was later asked about the notary signature said that “he did not remember ever notarizing a document for me”. This was found to be a lie as a handwriting expert on my behalf confirmed the handwriting to,in fact, be his. The news of her death traveled to a man named Curtis McLemore, who was a relative of her late husband but of no relation to her who was extremely angry about the will claiming that her estate rightfully belonged to him and that I obviously had to have done something for it to have been willed to me. I agree that it really didn’t make much sense, but I couldn’t have made up a will like that even if I had wanted to, she had information in that I would never have known like stocks and bonds that could not have been fabricated.

THE FIRST ARREST

I was arrested the first time by the Texas Rangers who showed up at my house on August 29th 2021 on the bogus charge of forging a last will and testament. I was then transported by the Sheriff’s offices investigator in the front seat of the police car, uncuffed (not customary procedure for an arrest, and very odd) and upon arrival was then PR bonded because quote “they didn’t want me sitting in their jail” all recorded public record, and then gave me a ride back home. A search warrant was also done at my residence by the Rangers.

THE SECOND ARREST. Nearly a month later September 20th, I was again arrested at home for another bogus charge of forgery of a government record and theft over $2500. I later learned that this charge was supposedly tied to the personal sale of one of my firearms to a city worker I knew named, David Tucker who I had also given a small personal loanto, as well. The allegation was that I had somehow conned this man out of his money even though I had a signed bill of sale with his signature on it. That didn’t matter because for some reason they produce a check that has a completely different amount from the one I had and they stated that there were some incriminating things that had been found on my work computer. Those “things” found were apparently an empty folder entitled “will” that allegedly once contained documents of some kind that had been deleted and were unable to be recovered, and the other was an upload of a very fake looking FBI receipt claiming some kind of identity theft protection package that had been uploaded to my work computer and a receipt of payment from the sale of the gun, which is extremely odd, all of it, because why would that receipt have been uploaded that long after the sale had taken place and while I was not even allowed inside the building more less my office. I was shown the alleged FBI receipt and I can tell you there was nothing official about it, my kindergartener could have made one better and I am still not sure as to how that applies to the fabricated case of forgery on a private firearm sale. The last time I talked to David about this,he told me that he never filed an official police report regarding any kind of fraud and from what I understand there still is none, unless yet again, it was fabricated. A FEW MONTHS LATER….

By this time I had hired Brandon Luce attorney at law out of Waco to represent me and several months had passed without any communication at all from David or anyone else per my attorneys advice as it was clear to him and I both that anything and everything possible could be used and weaponized and fabricated into a supposed crime to falsely arrest me. Then one day I receive a letter in the mail addressed to me from David Tucker. I immediately took it to my attorney unopened and we decided that it should be opened only by a private detective completely unaffiliated with the case and it was several more months before we could get one in the office. Once we did and the letter was opened David had written that he had been threatened to lie against me and he would be taken care of and protected and would be dealt with if he refused to do what they said by someone in a position of power that I likely knew, but no name was mentioned. They told him that I knew too much regarding illegal activities and they wanted me out of the department no matter what it took. ( I have enclosed a copy of the letter with this email as well as the letter from the attorney I had contacted stating that I should definitely seek council regarding the will through someone else as there may be issues regarding William McLemore’s interest in Beverly’s property.) Not long after this my attorney Brandon contacted Adam (DA) to try to reach David in order to conduct an interview with him and he told us we couldn’t do that because David was dead. Another piece of shocking news, even more odd is the fact that there was no investigation and no police report taken on his death, according to what Brandon had found out. None, at all. Even stranger than that, the following week, if that, David’s home burns to the ground and once again, no police report was taken or filed about it. The week the fire occurred my family and I were all out of town for my mother’s wedding thankfully, because it is my opinion that the fire was done deliberately and done to try to fabricate more “evidence” to set me up for Arson, but their plan fell through because they were unaware, I was going to be out of town. This is the one thing so far that I’m unable to prove but I do feel strongly. The mentioned letter has never been brought up to the DA in my case as evidence because my attorney (who was previously a district attorney) believed that if we did they would try to use it against me and try to charge me with homicide and arson, which I am still confused about because I can’t see how they could but they’ve managed to get away with fabricating everything else so far so why couldn’t they do that?

JANUARY 9TH COURTDATE: THREATS, COERCION AND DURESS

Just this past month my attorney and I appeared in court on the ninth of January 2023 with the intention to request an extension as we were working to obtain a handwriting expert to compare the letter I had received to David’s writing and conclusively prove it was 100% written by him. Quick backstory here: Before I moved to Clifton I traded an air-stream trailer to a man in LaRue, Tx (I forget his name, it’s been nearly 10 years now) for an older but nice bumper pull RV our family used to vacation in etc. He was going through a nasty divorce and wanted anyone but his soon to be ex-wife to end up with it, so we were both pleased with the trade. When we bought the house in Clifton and began repairs one of the repairs needed was the driveway needing new concrete, so I made a deal with Anthony Powell who owns his own concrete pouring company to trade the RV for the new concrete job on our driveway which amounted to around $10,000. We were both very happy in this trade as well, the only problem that existed is that the original title I had for the RV had burned up in the housefire and Anthony wanted to get it replaced. Not knowing how to go about doing this he made the mistake of going to Trace Hendrix for advise and upon hearing that it had been obtained from me immediately became overly suspicious of it and began taking pictures of it inside and out and exclaiming that the RV had been stolen, although officers within Clifton PD had ran the plates and it did not show up as stolen. Trace continued his accusations of it being stolen and of course, me at the heart of this “theft.” He then had Texas Ranger Hatfield reach out to the Anderson County Ranger to look into it further and what do you know the RV was found to have been previously stolen but recovered and afterward put up for sale and bought by an unknown individual at auction, which may or may not have been the man I made the trade with, if the story of it being stolen is even true to begin with. Trace then showed up at Anthonys home and said that he was confiscating the RV and during this time told Anthony “We gotta take this thing now before it burns to the ground too.” An odd statement to make I thought. Going back to the day in court now, the judge and DA are now pushing for a trial to happen and for me to come to a decision on something to happen as fast as possible and as a matter of fact had already chosen a brand new grand jury that very morning and had a pre-trial date scheduled for January 19th and the trial for January 26th, also making sure that each charge would be tried separate from the other so that they could not run concurrent. They told me that they had a subpoena to arrest me, yet again, that day with false charges of RV theft unless I agreed to their plea deal of 10 years prison time as well as waive my right to a jury trial and if I didn’t agree to that I would be arrested on these charges as well as re-opening an investigation against me AND my wife Kira for charges of arson on our previous home based upon nothing more than the fact that Kira had not been interviewed by the third party fire investigator, only I had been. The treats against my wife and ANOTHER unlawful arrest caused me to sign the document, but it was certainly signed under extreme duress. I don’t know how much more of this I can handle or why these people are hell-bent to see me end up in prison for doing nothing more than wanting reform within the department. I can tell you that the fire marshal, a deputy under him and the fire investigator that was sent out by our insurance company, Foremost Home Insurance, out of Athens, Tx all agreed that the cause of the fire was faulty wiring on an air compressor that was plugged into our garage at the time and no foul play or arson was even slightly suspected. Our insurance did pay out so that attests to something I think and I know that the records on this housefire are accessible and will state the same. At this point, it seems that everyone affiliated and formerly affiliated with Clifton PD especially Trace Hendrix are just grasping

Amphibia Sets Final Season Premiere Date Including Guest Stars And More

Hop to your screens this fall when season three of the popular frog-out-of-water animated comedy “Amphibia” premieres Saturday, Oct. 2, at (9:30 a.m. EDT) on Disney Channel and DisneyNOW with a special extended-length episode.

Season three will also include a 22-minute Christmas special featuring a song written by Rebecca Sugar (“Steven Universe”).

A season three sneak peek clip of “Amphibia” was revealed today during a combined virtual Comic-Con@Home panel with “The Owl House.”

Guest stars for season three include Whoopi Goldberg (“The View”), RuPaul Charles (“RuPaul’s Drag Race”), Kate Micucci (“DuckTales”), Brad Garrett (“Everybody Loves Raymond”), Anika Noni Rose (“The Princess and the Frog”), Archie Yates (“Jojo Rabbit”), Wallace Shawn (“Young Sheldon”), Wayne Knight (“Seinfeld”), Jason Ritter (“Gravity Falls”), Dana Davis (“Craig of the Creek”) and Melissa Villaseñor (“Saturday Night Live”).

Major Updates to My Weird Idea (that includes my Nightside OCs)

This is mainly an update for @schizoauthoress , @the--blackdahlia , @spacelizardtrashboys , @enigmaticandunstable and @piratewithvigor and I personally think @nattinngrst might like this.

I went on a trip to the beach yesterday with my parents and my older brother (who I bored and annoyed with this idea and you'll see some of his influence in this here post)

Anything written in italics is meant to be taken as a joke as you read through this wall of text, sending good vibes as always, hope y'all are doing well.

The show is set in Canadian, Texas (real place: Wikipedia). I'm thinking of this show starting in the mid-to-late 90s (1996/1997).

I've managed to do several things with that weird sitcom idea, so, where to start, how about with the three potential titles:

1 - Neighbourhood Watch

2 - First Call

3 - First Round (Which my brother likes)

Here are some options for bar names, starting with the Cop bar:

1 - The Donut Hole

2 - The Roasted Hog (which my big bro suggested)

3 - The Sherriff's Outpost

And the Biker Bar:

1 - The Handlebar Inn

2 - The Steel Horse Saloon

3 - The Rebel Room

Next on the list of updates: Cast additions, character roles and (Finally after 2 days) Names for Everyone!!

I'll start with the Cop Bar's owner & staff:

Rosalina Asturias 'Rosa' (Played by Billie Martinez) an employee of the local cop bar. Didn't grow up in the town, moved here for work.

Violet Croft (Played by Eli Herne) an employee. Grew up in town, never left, has the hots for one of the guys in the local police.

Sunshine Crawford 'Sunny' (Played by Holly Di Antonio) an employee. Grew up in town, left for college and came back.

Roscoe Power 'Ross' (Played by Jimmy Hart) the loudmouth who owns the bar, grew up in town, used to be a car salesman.

Olesya Pavlovsky 'Olivia' (Played by Penelope Voronin) an employee who grew up in town and has immigrant parents, goes by 'Olivia' because she would rather you don't f*** up her actual name.

Winona Vance (Played by Sam Griffin Silver) an employee who moved here from New York, for unknown reasons, and doesn't really understand the small town, everyone knows everyone lifestyle.

Lavender Whittemore (Played by Victoria Lucifarian) an employee who grew up in England but moved to live in America, settled in Canadian, Texas due to her love of westerns.

Next: The Local Police Squad:

Sergeant Valentine Gautier 'Val' (Played by Bret Hart) recently promoted before the series begins but still on patrol duty, watches over his younger brother.

Corporal Buck Morris 'Buckshot' (Played by Davey Boy Smith) the gun loving corporal of the squad and the only one to have both 'work' and 'home' guns.

Captain Napoleon Cooper 'Crazy Cooper' / 'Captain Crazy' (Played by Jim Neidhart) the police captain, recently reassigned to Canadian, Texas as there were rumours abut him which interfered with his work in his previous location.

Officer Duke Gautier (Played by Owen Hart) the young, recently recruited brother of Sgt Gautier, often put on patrol alone to ensure less arguments, but always checked on by his brother.

Next: The Biker Bar's Staff:

Ozzy Rains (Played by Charles Wright) A biker and member of the staff who grew up just outside of town but loves his fellow staff members like family.

Brock Martel (Played by Henry Godwin) a biker and member of the staff who grew up on a local ranch and loves beer, football and the current Mayor's down-to-Earth style.

Vincent Gore 'Vinnie' (Played by Kane) the owner's son and a known fire loving 'freak' often protected by his surrogate family, the bar staff, Vinnie knows no better than 'ooh, cool looking fire' and must be restrained or have his hands swatted away to stop him burning himself trying to touch campfires.

Raven Knight (Played by Kirby Roussimoff) the only female staff member, but also the girl who does all the tough jobs when needed, has a side business of making and selling artwork, such as portraits to locals, has designed some of the bar staff's tattoos.

Harlow Gore (Played by Paul Bearer) the owner of the bar and a loving father to his son, took Murphy (Undertaker) under his wing when they first met and also treats him, and the rest of staff, like family.

Hunter King (Played by Phineas Godwin) Brock's cousin and a member of staff, taught Raven how to shoot a shotgun and his father owns a local tattoo parlour.

Sequoia Reed (Played by Rikishi) an employee and Frankie's (Yokozuna) cousin, also a surrogate cousin to Raven, having been best friends since childhood. Reed loves his job and his staff family and will defend both at any cost.

Lupe Zapatero (Played by Savio Vega) an employee at the bar and possibly the shortest member of staff, towered over by the tallest staff members but is not any less of a fighter because of his size, a former mechanic who loves nothing more than taking things apart and putting them back together while listening to metal / rock.

Murphy Graves (Played By The Undertaker) Manager of the biker bar and an excellent member of staff, has an outlaw rules vibe, as in he would say to the police "Your jurisdiction ends when you walk in my bar." Very protective of the staff, and the owner.

Frankie Wolf (Played by Yokozuna) the most relaxed and laid-back of the staff, Frankie would prefer to be in the kitchen making potential 'Culinary Masterpieces' as he would call them. Sequoia and Raven's (surrogate) cousin, views his staff mates as family.

Next: The Local Band (Named: Exoskeleton Samurai)/College Students

Quinn Thorn (Played by Jeff Hardy) the bassist to Ros' (Lita) vocals / lead Guitar and older brother Garth's (Matt) Drums, a face paint enthusiast and an English major in college who never seems to find time to study, but always has time to date somehow.

Roz Jerome (Played by Lita) the vocals and lead guitar for the band and an art major who actually studies, dating Garth (Matt) and met Quinn through him. Roz also studies Spanish and French.

Garth Thorn (Played by Matt Hardy) Quinn's older brother and the band's drummer, a major in psychology and a horror movie lover, Roz' boyfriend and almost totally devoted to her, even at the cost of his college work.

Next: The Local Townsfolk of Note:

Mayor Robert Sweet (Played by Jim Duggan) rarely seen, but apparently a good man with good ideas, helps out in volunteer projects and absolutely loves the town. Trying his hardest and people know this, and they love him. (did I meme correctly?)

Rusty Jarvis (Played by Mick Foley) the local hippie who has never left town, somehow managing to know both everything and nothing at the same town. (Very Dude Love with hints of Cactus Jack and Mankind) Does know how to fight when he needs to.

Redd Wayne (Played by 'Sycho' Sid Vicious/Justice) the local baseball/softball star, helps out at the local school/college teaching sports and likes Raven's artwork, he watches her draw when he can, runs the local little league & minor league baseball/softball games.

Earl Black (Played by Steve Austin) the most often seen regular at the biker bar, absolutely loves both the bar and the town, a hardworking guy who has befriended the entire staff (including Harlow and Vinnie) of the biker bar.

Lex Aston (Played by The Rock) a local struggling actor, teaching an acting class to pay the bills and an absolute ladies man, and for that reason he goes to the cop bar, to try and pick up one of the bartenders who works there, often favouring Rosa as she will jokingly flirt back.

Finally (for this section): The Degenerates and Their Benefactors:

Reign Yates (Played by Billy Gunn) Leon's (Road Dogg) best friend, often the getaway driver for the group and a scout for locations, often getting all the info on a place before telling Matty (H.H.H) and Dell (HBK). Often leaves town with Leon to get the heat off them. (and make out in secret)

Zelda Hooper (Played by Chyna) the only female degenerate but possibly the toughest, has a rap sheet as big as her arms, not to be trusted when around the other degenerates as she is usually the actual brains of the operation.

Matty Battle (Played by Hunter Hearst Helmsley) the co-leader of the degenerates, often protected by Zelda or Mark (Kevin Nash). does most of the talking but has the piss taken of him for his looks often by either other degenerates or locals who don't care for the degenerates.

Romeo Colombera (Played by Mike Rotundo/I.R.S) the right hand man of the mysterious benefactor, and often the lawyer for the degenerates as well as a taskmaster for them, telling them what the boss wants done and by what date.

Mark Rake (Played by Kevin Nash/Diesel) the tallest degenerate with a rap sheet as long as his leg, a former bouncer at a now closed nightclub, alongside best friend (and possibly boyfriend) Galo (Scott Hall) and now a bodyguard (when needed) for Matty and Dell (HBK, also boyfriends).

Leon Rose (Played by Road Dogg) best friend of Reign and a scout for the group alongside him. Has found every possible way to piss off other townsfolk and often in the most fights because of it, always on the police's radar for one thing or another and constantly leaving town because of it.

Galo Villalobos (Played by Scott Hall/Razor Ramon) the only (supposedly) Latino degenerate, raised in Canadian, Texas but his parents are from Cuba, Galo is a former nightclub bouncer (alongside Mark) Galo is known (for his ability to give minus fucks) as the most relaxed member of the group.

Dell Pain (Played by Shawn Michaels/HBK) the co-leader alongside Matty, a known flirt with people regardless of gender or sexuality, just to piss them off on some occasions. Dell grew up in town, knowing it like the back of his hand.

Giles Rennell (Played by Ted DiBiase) the mysterious benefactor of the group, bailing them out if needed, he stumbled across the group after seeing a police bulletin and decided to use them to cause enough chaos to guarantee a chance in the next mayoral election.

Zac Noel (Played by X-Pac) the shortest and youngest degenerate, Zac is often treated as the child of the group, being taught how to get away with crimes and trick the police into just letting him go by clerical error and tomfoolery.

1x01: Insert Coin to Start: The pilot episode of the series sees the local biker bar of Canadian, Texas installing two, brand new, arcade machines. After leaving for the night, the team finds the bar broken into and both machines missing with no evidence or possible suspects to the robbery. The team finds the machines relatively undamaged in an alleyway nearby. By the end of the episode there's still no suspects. B plot includes an argument between father and son, Harlow and Vincent which ends when Murphy gets involved.

1x02: Hot Pursuit: Newly instated chief of police Chief Cooper [Neidhart] makes changes to the patrol teams before tasking them with looking for any persons involved with (1x01)'s robbery and break-in, leading to a high speed chase later in the episode. B plot includes the squad coming to grips with the new, and much crazier, police chief.

1x03: Making Noise: Local band Exoskeleton Samurai [Team Extreme] are writing new music late at night while Roz [Lita] tries to study for a class the following day but, during a moment of quiet, they hear a break in a couple of doors down and attempt to see who it is. The group get a glimpse of Zac Noel [X-Pac] and Mark Rake [Nash] but not a full glimpse. Now aware of the local degenerates, the band try and forget about it and focus on their own lives until their apartment gets broken into when they're not there.

1x04: Donuts & Beer: The new cop bar opens on the other side of town, serving mainly (both savoury and sweet) bagels and donuts as well as beer (on tap and bottled), the fact it's slightly more risqué gets (both good and bad) attention on the place. Winona Vance [Sam] gets in a fight with Zac Noel [X-Pac] as she's locking up. Winona [Sam] being put in the hospital with a broken arm makes the rest of [Cop Bar]'s staff double down on getting justice for the near break-in.

1x05: Dirty Work: The first episode from the degenerates perspective. The degenerates are just causing general problems for the town without reason because it's fun' but it's quickly losing their interest as the heat on them rises. The end of the episode has Matty Battle [Triple H] receiving a call from 'Mister R' [DiBiase] offering him a deal.

1x06: Blue & Black: A brawl breaks out at [Biker Bar] following whispers that the people who broke in are in the building. The bikers who work at the bar threaten to hurt anyone who works for the rival bar if they try and mess with business while in the biker bar.

1x07: Captain Crazy: A rumour that the current captain was moved location and promoted to smooth over allegations that he may not be fully sane, Officer Duke Gautier [Owen] is determined to find the truth while Sergeant Valentine Gautier [Bret] and Corporal Buck Morris [Davey Boy] are determined to keep the peace and catch the local degenerates.

1x08: Broken Strings: following an argument with an ex girlfriend Quinn Thorn [Jeff] finds his guitar smashed and has to work odd jobs to buy another one (starting a potential series c plot). Garth Thorn [Matt] ends up in a fight with Galo Villalobos [Hall] which ends when Roz Jerome [Lita] smashes a table leg over the back of Galo's [Scott's] head, knocking him out and giving him over to the police.

1x09: Badges & Bottle Tops: Captain Cooper [Neidhart] stops by [cop bar] to talk with owner Roscoe Power [Jimmy Hart]. Meanwhile the Gautier boys [Owen & Bret] interrogate Galo Villalobos [Scott Hall] about what the degenerates are doing and why, getting no information about the mysterious benefactor over than he pays them a lot of money depending on what they do.

1x10: Paid off: The mysterious benefactor 'Mister R' [DiBiase] pays Galo's [Scott's] bail, getting him free for a while but side-lining him too. The benefactor remains hidden in shadow but Matty & Dell [Triple H & HBK] have a meeting with him to discuss money and the next job.

1x11: Written in Ink: the tattooed bikers on the staff encourage regular customer Earl Black [Austin] to get a skull tattoo on his back and even take him with them to the tattoo parlour they frequent, finding it to be burned to the ground with a 'freaks get lost' sign planted in the wreckage. Murphy Graves [Undertaker] dismisses the rumours that the arsonist is the fire fascinated Vincent Gore [Kane] and even gives him an alibi when the cops come looking for answers, putting blame on someone in town who knows about Vinnie's [Kane's] love of fire, which is nearly every person in town.

1x12: Sergeant Heartbreaker: Sergeant Gautier [Bret] is accused of flirting with the staff at [Cop bar] leading to a paid two day leave to get heat off of him while he's ordered to remain at home. Officer Gautier [Owen] and Corporal Morris [Davey Boy] are put on patrol together, leading to a high speed chase of Reign Yates, Leon Rose & Zelda Hooper [Gunn, Road Dogg & Chyna] after witnessing a mugging, assault and graffiti from the trio, the cops eventually lose them down a back road on private Giles Rennell's [DiBiase's] land they would need a warrant for.

1x13: Failing Grade: Quinn's [Jeff's] lack of sleep leads to him getting a fail on an test forcing him to do the semester again. Enraged by this Quinn [Jeff] considers leaving the school but is encouraged to continue following Garth [Matt] ending up in hospital following [1x12]'s assault and mugging on Garth & Roz [Matt & Lita].

1x14: Microphones & Megaphones: [cop bar]'s owner Roscoe Power [Jimmy Hart] installs a stage for local acts in the bar, leading to Violet Croft [Eli] performing later that episode (the closing of the episode into the credits) and the night before the first performance the bar is covered in graffiti, leading to a massive clean up effort from the staff and local volunteers (like Mick Foley & The Rock).

1x15: Trench Warfare: Romeo Colombera [IRS] the benefactor's [DiBiase's] right hand man and go-to lawyer gives the degenerates an list of jobs, run the police chief out of town by the end of the year, run the bikers out of town, and ensure that 'Mister R' [DiBiase] the benefactor wins the next mayoral election.

1x16: Fuelling Up: after closing up [biker bar] Raven Knight [Kirby] narrowly avoids being burned by her motorbike exploding in a ball of fire. Her boss, Harlow Gore [Bearer] tells her to take the week off, leading to her coming into the bar and sitting at the back of the bar, sketching the regular customers and having a long conversation with local sports star Redd Wayne [Sid].

1x17: Brothers in Arms: Together: the Gautier brothers [Bret & Owen] are put on patrol together leading to the arrest of Zelda, Matty & Dell [Chyna, Triple H & HBK] before the trio are bailed out, the brothers interrogate Dell Pain [HBK] (leading to a very 'basic instinct'-esque scene with Shawn in assless chaps and boxer briefs) who gives them no information on their behaviour and why they are doing the things they've done.

1x18: Night Time Fun: the band attends a college party, unknowingly with Zac Noel [X-Pac] also in attendance, leading to the trio being high and drunk and the Thorn brothers [Matt & Jeff] end up in a fight, almost being thrown out of college entirely for their actions the next morning.

1x19: Head or Hart: Violet Croft [Eli] and (officer) Duke Gautier [Owen] meet properly for the first time on a blind date, leading to them walking through the streets of Canadian, Texas at night. The date is quickly ended after Duke [Owen] spots Leon Rose [Road Dogg] spray painting [cop bar] and gives chase after handing Violet [Eli] his number.

1x20: Grunt Work: The degenerates have a group meeting about how to sabotage the town meeting, leading to Rennell [DiBiase] coming out of the shadows to lead the degenerates in a coordinated attack on the town hall. Leading to the degenerates waiting until the town meeting to begin the next day.

1x21: Town Meeting: Mayor Robert Sweet [Duggan] conducts a town meeting, leading to everyone airing their grievances with the degenerates recent spree of activity. At the end of the meeting, paint bombs hidden above the townsfolk go off all at once, covering everyone in bright, almost neon, green paint.

TMNT: DEVIATIONS #1 MARCH 2016 BY KEVIN EASTMAN, BOBBY CURNOW, TOM WALTZ, ZACH HOWARD, CORY SMITH, JOYLON YATES, RONDA PATTISON AND SHAWN LEE

What if... no wait... that’s not right...

In a world... where the Turtles join Shredder... this is a “deviation” of what actually happened in “City Fall”. You know, that story where the Foot Clan is taking control of the criminal underground and Leonardo joins the Shredder, Well, in this version, all of them join the Shredder, and they hunt down Splinter.

SCORE: 7

Don’t let the score fool you. The story is good. But I find some “inconveniences” with it. First of all, you actually need to have the original story fresh in your head. This came out three years after City Fall.

The other reason I cannot score this higher is that, being an imaginary story... well... stakes are not high (at least, from my point of view).

Some things are curious... for example, Splinter manages to kill Kitsune (with the help of Tang Shen). It kind of reminded me of the ending of City at War (IDW), but... well... it’s a little strange because she is basically a goddess.

But we did not know that then... and while it was hinted at... I am not sure they were very aware of their plans for Kitsune in late 2015... as you can see in the infographics above.

The main reason I ended up reading this issue, was because I was reading about City Fall and found out that (as it was revealed in this issue), they were considering making Leonardo a son of Oroku Saki. I can see why they didn’t go with that idea.

But at the same time... it would have been an amazing “deviation” to tell...
