One last little peek at Torres Del Paine, in all it’s power and might, with its peaks and glaciers, from the airplane leaving this morning. Truly an amazing place. I feel very fortunate to have been able to see it, hike it, and feel it for the last couple of weeks. I met some really cool people, adventurous hikers from all over the globe. Makes me want to turn 50 all over again. Here are another set of the observational hand drawings I did for the recent 50 hands challenge for #liverpoolindependentartschool -Each drawing was about 3 or 4 minutes and I found the headspace of repeated short observational drawings very meditative and mood enhancing. Observational drawing is a particular thing. I draw in order to look and look in order to see and see in order to connect. Do these things make me who I am or are these just descriptions of me. What do I want from life and when I figure it out how do I go about getting them? Will these things hinder me or encourage me? What are my passions anyway? Learning, traveling, reading, encouraging, motivating, loving, passionate. These all play a role in my decisions but do they also determine my future. How can I  allow my anxiety to make choices? How much power will I give depression? What can I expect from my husband? Will my co-workers understand? Am I too old to learn who I am? Why do all of these things determine who I am? I am who I am, right? All these monsters have come for me, I can’t cry wolf anymore because I’m now in my panic room.
