the entirety of BFDI so far is 16:10:39 (hours, minutes, seconds). assuming the average sleep time is 8 hours, then that's a little more than typical waking hours

#wheucto #wheucto speaks #binging the entirety of BFDI in one sitting (from BFDI 1a to TPOT 6) is. possible. but barely #unless you like. stay up a long time_ later on this is just. going to be impossible #that is if you want to stay healthy sleep schedule-wise #and so far we only have 6 TPOT episodes. considering we have 35 (i think) contestants_ 2 contestants eliminated #if that stays true until. uhhhh. let's say an avg of 3 members per team for merge (or first merge)#3 * 6 = 18 #that's almost half of 35. so it would take 17 or 18 episodes to get there if. i'm right which is unlikely #now if 1 contestant is eliminated after 1st merge that would take 15 for final three 16 for final two #if the same stays true (until final four/two) then it'd be 7ish for final four/three or 8 for final two #17 + 7 + 1 for the smallest estimate. that's 25.#each episode is about 25 minutes (assuming trends stay the same) so it'd be 625 minutes more (or 10 hours 25 minutes)#that is_ assuming that 1. tpot doesn't get canceled 2. 1st merge will happen when teams have 3 contestants avg #we'll need to wait about... 3 to 5 years (if the show gets completed) to see how many episodes (and how long they are) there'll be #(since assuming each episode comes in a month + half times that by 25 for a little over 3 years as the lower estimate and 5 as just. a vibe #- based guess)#if 625 mins is correct then it'd be over 26 hours long also known as more than a day. so. binge-watching all of bfdi is probably impossible #- when it all gets completed (assuming there isnt ANOTHER season after tpot. and who knows?)

I’m not too fond of doing certain chores around the house, but I certainly won’t complain if I’m asked to do them. In fact, sometimes I’m delighted to do these chores, but only if I’m pissed off at my siblings. Why, you may ask?

Because I’m an adult. Under the nitpicking gaze of my mother, I have long since perfected these chores despite any feelings I may hold. So when I’m really pissed off and want to be petty, I’ll do the chores so well, my mother will see the results and nag the others to keep up with her standards.

Psychological warfare is the best when the opponent doesn’t even know what you’re doing.

#yes I am petty #the issue is I can’t physically bodyslam my siblings anymore #i stopped growing my freshman year in hs #while my brothers just haven’t stopped #and all the guys in my family are athletes #my papa is the coach for both wrestling AND football #and since they’re during different seasons brother 1 diligently plays both #he is over six feet and still growing #i used to sit on him as a kid when we fought #the day he turned the tables was the last day I tried that particular route of revenge #also my two sisters can’t be fist fought either #one is an athlete but is still as thin as a fucking twig #and the second is literally nine #I’d throw hands with a third grader any day but not WHEN I LIVE WITH THEM #so I just try my best to fuck with their days #like making the dogs love me more #or fuck with our mothers perception of how a chore should be done #so she rags on them to do better #to be fair they’re really bad at chores it’s not that hard #pondhead rambles

everyone always seems to have this crazy story of how they got into object shows but i literally just got into them cuz my brother made me watch them with him

#half of my interests ive gotten into them becuz of him in one way or another..#but yeah he was really into bfdi back in like 2016/2017? i dont remember exactly #and i ended up enjoying it a lot #i remember one time i saw my sister watching ii2 and i though 'wow another shitty bfdi ripoff 🙄'#little did i know it was gonna overtake my brain for like four entire years #oh yeah i started watch ii becuz i walked in on my brother watching ii2 episode 6 and was like 'wait this is pretty good' and binged #all of season 2 afterwards. i didnt want to touch season 1 at all #specifically becuz i hated the animation style and audio quality. i had no idea abt its reputation among most other fans until much more #recently if im being honest? i did watch it like a fewmonths after i got really into ii though #i only remember this becuz i have vivid memories of quoting mephone4s constantly with my friends #(oh yeah i got pretty much all of my friends into object shows too. i was that kind of friend)#inquisitivewaltz.txt #but yeah i got back into object shows this march of this year after not caring abt them for like.. two years i think #(my timeline mgiht be a bit wonky im just going off of vague memory)#becuz i rewatched ii (i dont rememebr why) and i was like. ohhh okay i remember why i was so obsessed with this show #and i was mostly thinking abt that for a while.. rewatched season 2 episode 14 for the first time (only saw #it one time when it released lmao)#and caught up with season 3. started working on a full analysis of nickel throughout all seasons. i was pretty much #only into ii again but then i got super sick one day #and was in bed the whole time so i was like 'haha ill rewatch bfdi =)' and then it activated something in my brain (autism) and now #im back in object show hell(affectionate) B]#its so weird having techinically been in the community for a real long time. but also not??#(also i just realized ii wasnt an interest for four years it was like two or three. im a little stupid <//3)#like i started watching before bfb even released but i wasnt actively watching ANY object shows when anything post-split was releasing #(oh yeah i never finished that nickel analysis. i only got up to like kick the bucket before i lost all motivation to finish it and #the bfdi special interest kicked in. still hope i can actually finish it someday)#OKAY i think thats all ill say. i need to stop writing massive walls of text everytime i talk abt smthn <//3 /silly #long post #<- cuz of the tags

#ramblings of a lunatic #toh #i saw that post about needing to rewatch the source material to renew your fandom license (which was a good post and joke)#and now I'm too over cautious. i have seen this show so many fucking times #admittedly it's mostly out of love but some of it is out of neurosis #which is just a little fucked up #tbh rn if i could rewatch any episodes it'd probably be early season 1 since a) they're the most lighthearted #and b) they're the most far removed in my brain rn #I'm so excited for watching and dreaming but I physically cannot fucking think about it or I'll die #I'm rewatching ninjago w/ my friends rn (after having not seen it in YEARS and also only ever watching the first 2 seasons)#and let me tell u it is a Great distraction from the dread #like i said a while back I'm gonna be binging baby comfort media after the finale 😭😭😭#in the week leading up to it i think I'll make a bingo card with my friends tho depending on if we get new stuff #we got the thumbnail and i feel like a week before the episode they tend to post a clip or two from the ep?#thanks to them had both clips released concurrently at nycc (which was a good few weeks before the episode aired. maybe even a month)#and for the future got one clip a week or so before airing and then the day before airing as well i think #so I'm intrigued to see what the promo timeline will be like for watching and dreaming? they probably can't do too much #not without spoiling us lmao #maybe a week or few days before we'll get just a poster and maybe (if they have time) some crew art/promos #we'll see tho #(<- getting caught up in irl minutiae helps me distract myself. lol <3)

it is 4 degrees and i am suffering, i fucking hate the cold so fucking much

#i've heard the arguments as to why cold weather is supposedly better than hot weather #to which i say: i don't fucking care i fucking hate winter so much #actually its spring here! but spring refuses to fucking KICK IN #please im begging #summer makes me suffer too i won't deny it but winter hurts me so much worse #its so hard sleeping at night in a bed that feels like its made of ice #oh and any of you try to pull that ''lol 4 degrees? thats not cold. not where i'm from''#1. fuck you and 2. I AM AUSTRALIAN. AND I AM ANGRY #i am in physical pain #oh btw i don't have a heater in my room. the one i was using became an electrical hazard #so my room - which gets colder than the rest of house - has been especially icy #ya know what i miss. i miss when there were actually 4 seasons #oh yeah socially there are 4 seasons. but functionally there's only two nowadays #i miss when autumn and spring actually behaved like autumn and spring so we could have a break #from the horrible heat or crushing cold #or some days early in the year when it flips randomly back and forth! which is terrible for the immune system!#grrrrr being cold makes me very grumpy
