So....scammers here have always used what ever you post to try and emotionally pull you to send money to them.
Because I post pics of cats - scammers dm me with '"please help me pay vets bills for my poor sick cat"
Because I post about the awful American healthcare system - "please help me buy insulin."
Because I post support for Palestine " Please help pay for help ..."
you get the picture. (Hell sometimes they bring out wombocombos...like what I just had that triggered this...."I need insulin im in Palestine".)
All these scam artists pages are the same. Newly created, most posts less than 5 days ago. All with either the exact same post they link to in their DMs, or random posts linked to their claim.
Often their likes are locked and there is nothing else on their page. They dont follow you, just randomly pick you from what ever search they did on here.
But they are ALL working on your emotional response to not check, not be careful.
Do not fall for it.
if you are feeling generous or are not sure if it might just be a real ask...there are plenty of better avenues to ask for help you can reply with. Sub Reddits dedicated to donating money. Direct help to Palestine can be found here via many posts.
A random person though, coming out of the blue and dm'ing you to send them money without any other contact? That's a scam.
So I just found out that a commission I just got done for me, was traced and i was overcharged.
There Tumblr is Spo-kaka
Before i commissioned him, they were on of the people wanting to help with Therapist Sans design. I wasn't a big fan of his style for it, and already had people i was working with and liked what i had seen for them.
Before i told him i was going to go with other artists, i was constantly messaging me in the middle of the night
So i decided to Commission him instead for his trouble. They said they were in a bind and needed money for rent. Ive been in this situation, so i decided to help out.
i commission to draw an image of my Sona.
IMAGES under the cut
On top of that he was asking to send the PayPal thought family and friends, meaning i would not be able to get my money back if there were an issues. the red flag never occurred
for $70! he gave me this
at first i was a bit disappointed because it was not the quality i thought $70 would get me.
But then he kept asking me for a tip
i politely told him no.
Then later a friend told me "hey this is traced" and they showed me the proof
it was a complete over color of Brain from Dream Daddy's
SO TLDR
DO NOT COMMISSION THEM!
They trace, overcharge, and just harass you to let them do things.
i dont care if i dont get my money back. but i want to warn others about them.
Is anyone else getting a bunch of messages in there Inbox pleading for donations for various things? Cancer, isulin, operations, etc etc?
It sounds like a con to me and there as rapidly occuring at the mo as spambots. I just wanted to know if anyone else was getting these? Im 99 percent sure there fakes.
Amazon is filled with garbage ebooks. Here’s how they get made.
It’s partly AI, partly a get-rich-quick scheme, and entirely bad for confused consumers.

If you’re a millennial, you may remember that specific moment in time around the late 2000s when streaming video technology had just gotten good but there weren’t that many legitimate streaming platforms available yet. So if you were a student without a TV and you wanted to watch a show, you would go to a website that aggregated lists of illegal streams.
It would be covered in banner ads and autoplaying video ads decorated with little play button arrows, and in order to watch your show, you would have to solve the puzzle of figuring out which play button to click that would actually get you to your show instead of spiriting you away to a website that sold upsetting porn or amateurish video games. It could be done, but you had to be paying attention, and you had to have the barest modicum of web savvy to do it right.
Right now, navigating the ebook and audiobook marketplaces is like being back on those sites. There are a thousand banner ads larded with keywords, and they’re all trying to get your clicks.

"The saddest part about it, though, is that the garbage books don’t actually make that much money either. It’s even possible to lose money generating your low-quality ebook to sell on Kindle for $0.99. The way people make money these days is by teaching students the process of making a garbage ebook. It’s grift and garbage all the way down — and the people who ultimately lose out are the readers and writers who love books."
So we are are finally at the end, it was fun for me I enjoyed wasting this bitch's time.
Please note that this is not Seo Changbin, the real Changbin would never ask you for money, he would never ask you to send personal information to anyone and he certainly wouldn't treat people like this.
Heyyyyy Tumblr sorry it’s been a minute I’ve been super busy getting ready to graduate from college! Here’s another animatic I made over spring break, a much shorter one than Dolorianism but I hope you like it 👉🏻👈🏻
Okay, this is for all the scammers and fake accounts out there. You know who you are.
I've been getting dms from followers with "secret" links. You know what's weird about that? Four different people all sent me THE EXACT SAME MESSAGE!
Stop creating multiple accounts. Quit trying to scam me. It won't work. I'm not opening any links or any photos. I want DM's from true followers who want to talk, not people looking for their next target. If you're a scammer, don't bother following me. It won't do you any good. I write Whump Scenarios, I don't click sketchy links. Clear? Good.
Oh, and next time be more careful who you bother. I'm a homicide detective.
I love how Netflix thinks no one's going to notice that the "additional" charge to add new users to their service was the original price for a subscription back when Netflix was first started. The one they promised was never ever going to be raised 🙄
