Honestly, the 5 love languages are cool and all, but superior and an instant indicator for my all time faves is the 6th and imaginative form: Banter.

In season one after her engagement was announced to Simon, Prince Friedrich told Daphne that he wished her every happiness.
In season two after her engagement was announced to Anthony (just before the Viscount falls into the water), Lord Lumley wishes Edwina every happiness.
I wonder if in season three, after her engagement is announced to Colin, Lord Debling says the same to Penelope.
I want Debling to be a true gentleman, a good man and serious competition for Colin this season.
And I honestly wouldn’t mind if it became a little tradition that in each season, the person who had intentions for the leading lady of the season, (but who did not ultimately win her) still cares enough to wish her happiness so they part as friends.

To be fair, none of the Bridgertons really went through a "proper" courting stage with their spouses besides like Francesca's first marriage, and I think even that one went by super fast.
