As the debate continues regarding who will be next for s4, I couldn’t help recalling the scene between Daphne & Anthony.

I see Eloise being an obstacle for Colin getting with Pen as Anthony was for Daphne with Simon. She, so far, seems to have a bigger role understandably in s3. & those familiar with Eloise’s book are aware that Colin, although reluctant & more distracted by food, had a part in hunting Eloise down & dealing with Phillip. Once things were sorted though, none of the brothers were really a serious obstacle in keeping Philoise apart. Granted the show could change that.

Considering, thanks to the show, Colin & Phillip are already on good terms & perhaps pen pals. I can see Colin getting in touch with Phillip, sharing & getting advice from Phillip about his travels. Especially if Colin wasn’t getting any letters back from Pen. Those familiar with Eloise’s book know that Phillip is an engaging pen pal, which is saying a lot considering her standards for the opposite sex. But I wonder, with Phillip married (for honorable reasons) to Colin’s ex fiancée, how will Colin feel about Phillip getting with his sister?

From the little info we have regarding Benedict for s3, I’m guessing he will be filling Anthony’s shoes, I assume escorting Fran & Eloise during the season. I sense Kate might find out she’s pregnant, so she & Anthony take their leave from the season. Basing this off of the little we saw of them in the trailer. Basically I don’t see Benedict being an obstacle or even caring much other than being happy for Colin with Pen.

& Ben & Fran’s book don’t really show any siblings being an obstacle, Eloise & Colin seem more encouraging to the Benophie & Franchael pairings than opposed.

So if the creators have the siblings pairing off & want to keep the sister/brother groupings…….well

Bold of you to assume that Michael’s not already met Francesca, while she was abroad. It leads to a somewhat awkward conversation between Michael and Kate during which she clears her throat as they sip champagne,

“You should probably know that I’m seeing someone.” She let her eyes flick to Anthony, watching from the corner, his brow furrowed angrily and his mouth in a tight line.

Michael Stirling raised his eyebrows, “Is that so?”

“Yes. It’s… new but I’m not interested in anyone else. Sorry.”

Michael sighed, “Well then you should probably know, and this is no reflection on you I actually think we could be great fucking friends: But I accepted the Queen’s invitation because the someone that I’m seeing lives in the city here. And I needed an excuse to get here.”

Kate felt her lips smile, “Are we the Royal version of filthy sluts?”

Michael’s face split into a wide grin, “That depends? Is the lucky boy that bodyguard over there who’s looked like he wanted to kill me since I arrived?”

“That’s him.”

Michael raised his glass, first to Anthony covertly and then to Kate, “To being sluts and friends then.”

Has anyone seen that episode from Modern Family where Phil, Gloria, and Cam have their "Orange Juice Operation" going on every time one of them screw something up and need to fix it before their judgmental Pritchett finds out? (S08E08)

Now, imagine the siblings-in-laws having their own group behind their spouse's back to breathe away from their shenanigans and competitiveness, helping each other out to fix whatever mess they committed before any of their soulmate finds out. Kate&Sophie&Penelope&Simon&Philip&Michael&Lucy&Gareth, having each other's back without question against the stubborn nature of their Bridgerton spouse.

Okay but imagine this:

We get all 8 seasons, but while Season 1-7 all have 8 episodes each, S8 is suddenly featuring 9 episodes. The first 8 are telling Gregory‘s story and showing with their happy end.

Episode 9 starts with their a few years later. The Bridgertons are preparing to celebrate Violet’s Birthday in Aubrey Hall. It starts with Anthony, being happy about not having to care about the courting season anymore and Kate reminding him that his daughter will be introduced soon enough.

Colin and Pen make a stop at Hastings house on their way to the party, because their son seems to have the same speech impediment like Simon. Daphne is sad to announce to them that Simon is not there first, but then RJP storms in, saying „I missed your mum‘s birthday once and she refused to talk to me for a whole year afterwards. It‘s not going to happen again.“

Fran and Michael just welcomed their second child, a girl, and made some detours to pick up Philip, Eloise and their children. Hyacinth and Garreth can be seen renovating the house Garreth grew up in, because he just inherited it and they want to move in. Hyacinth asks the Sinclairs to hurry up. She doesn’t want to be late. Just in that time, Gregory enters the house with three toddlers, between the age 1-4 and tells them that they are here and waiting for them so that they can go to the party together. Lucy, who seems to be pregnant again, follows him, telling Hyacinth that they can’t share a carriage though, because the family is barely fitting inside one already.

Later that day, everyone is at the dining table in Aubrey Hall, celebrating Violet, who is obviously so happy to have them all around her. Eloise points out that she wishes that Benedict would be here, as well, but Violet explains to her that Sophie is on her last days of pregnancy and can’t take the carriage ride to Aubrey Hall, unfortunately.

„Actually, things turned out differently than we expected“, Benedict suddenly says from the treshold. He‘s holding a little baby in his arms, while Sophie enters the room with the two sons they already have, „this little girl here, decided to join our family last week.“

„Everyone“, Benedict announces while walking directly to his mother, to hand her the baby, „this is Violet.“

Tears, laughter, a nice music, and the end ♥️

So I just realized, if s3 ends with a cliffhanger of Benedict seeing or even interacting with Sophie, then what kind of cliffhanger might we get to sort of lead into the next couples’ season for s4 & even s5. Eloise & Fran’s stories happen due to the loss of John & Marina.

That would be two seasons revolving around the death of a character we’ve been introduced to. Would the creators/writers want to do back to back seasons like that or would they push off Benedict’s season again to have that break?

I 95% believe Benedict will be next but 🤯, Philoise & Franchael are going to be rough! Hot but 😭

S1 ended with Anthony deciding he needed to start fulfilling his role as head of the family & s2 with Pen deciding to continue writing as Whistledown.

Will be interesting to see how they handle Benedict if they don’t introduce Sophie yet. Feel like they need to do something different though, & a thunderstruck Benedict, after seeing Sophie, would be🫠

Listen. One of the things I hope is that Netflix's Bridgerton series will go so far as to adapt volume 6 about Franchael. It's literally the best book of the entire saga for me and the best romance objectively speaking, so what a waste it would be for this one to go by the wayside. Honestly I don't care if Hyncinte and Gregory's books are adapted. I just want Netflix to get to Francesca. I am convinced that we will have season 5 on Eloise. She is far too popular a character for Netflix not to do her season and given the indications with the Pall Mall games which already predicted that season 3 would be about Colin and Penelope, season 4 will be about Bénédicte and if 5 there is Eloise . So once again, I hope the Franchael book is adapted. Wait, Netflix continued Elit until season 7. They can make Bridgerton last until season 6 !
