Sunflowers are one of my favourite flowers and lately ive been thinking of a yooran fic where ray compared yoosung to a sunflower (in the sense that he associates yoosung with sunflowers) and he also says that the way sunflowers follow the sun is similar to the way yoosung follows rika and this keeps on rotating in my head. Do u think yoosung is like a sunflower

First ship fic, whaaat? Anyways, I don't really ship Yooran, but I do think there is a whole lot to explore with their potential dynamic. I know this was probably requested as in Yoosung being in place of MC as a tester, but I decided to take it into a more darker and grounded in canon territory. That is, Mint Eye effectively winning, and taking the rest of the RFA into its ranks. It is also kind of one-sided, but it was definitely a fun little challenge for me to write!

There are now flowers for each of them in this garden.

The reason was a rather straightforward one. The garden simply couldn't be completed without all of Rika's most beloved friends, who she longed to see by her side so badly. With each new member slowly coming to accept true happiness into their hearts, the garden bloomed fuller and brighter. And how could it not? Rika believed that the garden resembled any living creature on this Earth. It needed care, nourishment, and company to grow big and strong in order to survive against the harsh mountain winds and colds. It would grow sad when it was neglected and abandoned, and it would grow happy when it was being cared for and loved.

And now, finally, the garden has been fully completed. Blooming beautifully in the soft moonlight. A living proof of Rika's success in building a prosperous and thriving paradise for all who felt abandoned by the cruel world outside of these secluded walls.

Bluebells for Zen.

Violets for Jaehee.

White chrysanthemums for Jumin.

And sunflowers for Yoosung.

All of them were together now. Blooming and growing happily among the daffodils that were always present in this garden. They are a constant reminder of its selfless creator.

On the other hand, Mr. Ray was a mystery to Yoosung. He was the one who led them all to the truth hidden behind those traitors' many lies, along with MC as his helpful assistant. He was the one who welcomed them to paradise first and guided them into Rika's loving emrace that would open them up to true happiness. And he was the one protecting them all.

Yet, they rarely, if ever, saw him after that. Of course, he was preoccupied with his duties. His contribution to Magenta's prosperity was almost as great as Rika's. But, out of everyone, Yoosung found himself growing ever more curious of the man that his cousin has trusted so much.

He was still unaware of so many things. It was fortunate that Rika was so understanding and considerate of all of them. She didn't scold him once for being too noisy: simply smiling and informing him that she is more than happy to arrange a shared activity for them to bond over.

As long as he doesn't interfere with their work schedule, that's fine by her.

That's how they ended up taking care of the many flowers in this rather huge garden. Yoosung would be completely lost if it weren't for Ray, who gracefully whirled through the many narrow paths sprinkled throughout the flower-filled grounds, like it was his second nature. His steps were one of confidence and precision, and it was hard not to admire him for his excellence.

It was almost a bit of a challenge to try and keep up with him, without losing sight of his magenta blazer in all the other bright colors surrounding them from all sides.

"-Savior has stated that we should check on the pink roses. She's worried some pests might have damaged them from the last time she visited them." Ray's voice was firm and measured as he instructed over his shoulder. Yoosung always found it odd how he spoke to Rika and the rest of the believers in a completely different way. Not to mention MC. It's like he was a completely different person altogether, depending on who he was speaking to. Still, he would be lying if he said he didn't like this confident and measured way of speaking. It made it easy to just let go and follow his lead without thinking much, if at all.

"Pests? I thought we had a few gardeners to take care of the garden?"

Ray scoffs, walking through the flowery bushes at a quick pace, making Yoosung hurry after him. "It would be a shame if their incompetence made Savior upset."

The conversation was not very pleasant, to say the least.

Yoosung sighs as silence resumes between them once more. It's evident that Ray is only doing this because Rika instructed him to. He can't help but wonder why is Ray so disinterested in anything that has to do with them. The only times he has ever seen him get emotionally invested in something, is when he saw him talking to MC next to his workroom, as well as his meetings with Rika. Yet, to the rest of the believers, Ray appeared almost indifferent and cold in his approach.

He decides to take a chance by initiating a conversation on his own accord. Looking at Ray, who had been examining a leaf of the particular rose, it seemed that his attempt had been successful. As, the man paused, his gaze darting off to the side for a moment, before he straightened up again.

"Yes, that is correct. Savior had that in mind since the moment the first flower has been planted. Magenta's garden couldn't be completed without you all here by her side."

Yoosung's heart froze. He was aware that Rika had never left them, of course. Not really. But, to hear the confirmation of her always wanting to reunite them one day... it made him smile.

He will always be thankful to her for exposing him to the truth.

He couldn't resist his curiosity. Taking a small step towards the white-haired hacker, he brought up the question that had been on his mind for some time now. "Is there a flower that represents... me?"

Ray returns his gaze, as if he were observing him silently. Despite this, his expression remained neutral. He nods, folding his arms behind his back as he stands to face him. He almost looked like a prince, standing with his back straight like that. "There is. There is a flower for each of you."

"Can I see it?" Instantly, Yoosung perks up and takes another step closer, almost instinctively.

Ray quirks a brow, a slight change in his expression that didn't escape Yoosung's attention. Was he taken aback? Curious? Or maybe just annoyed with him getting nosy instead focusing on the job? It was difficult to read. Ray was like a book that was closed tightly, with its cover blank or fully scratched out, preventing you from even reading its title, much less its contents. Yet, for some reason, Yoosung found himself wanting to read that book more and more with each passing day.

Nodding, the hacker instructs the other man to follow him with a quick shake of his head. "I suppose the Savior wouldn't mind you learning of that."

As they walked, Yoosung was deeply in thought. What is it that made him so interested in Ray? It's not like they worked together. Or even knew one another. Their ranks were all they had.

Oh, but he was aware of the reason.

Ray was by Rika's side during those years when they were apart. He was the one who knew so many things that Yoosung didn't.

There was a part of him that felt guilty and ashamed. Rika has given them everything they need to know. She has provided them with the whole truth about that liar V and that traitor Luciel. She has given them what nobody else could. Eternal happiness.

Yet, despite everything, another small part of him, the tiniest, quietest part of him, was still in desperate need of answers.

And they were all in Ray's possession.

"-There they are."

He was so lost in his thoughts that he almost bumped into the other man's back, making him scurry off with an embarrassed flush to his cheeks. Ray either didn't notice his clumsy stunt or didn't care about it. Yoosung followed his gaze to the flowers his attention was directed at.

He squints and raises his brows in confusion. "Sunflowers?"

Ray nods. "Sunflowers represent many things. But, they mostly hold the meaning of lasting happiness and loyalty."

He seemed quite knowledgeable about the topic. Yoosung came up to the large flowers, his fingers tracing over the stem of one of them thoughtfully. Lasting happiness and loyalty... is that how Rika thought of him? Such a sentiment made him smile.

What made him believe V's shameless lies in the first place? Of course she never died. He knew it in his heart.

"There is... more to it, though."

Ray adds, his voice sounding quieter this time around.

"More?"

The other man is now standing close to him, their shoulders touching ever so slightly. Ray doesn't seem to notice or think anything of it, but Yoosung finds himself becoming rather flustered at the sudden proximity, staring up at the hacker with a light blush dusting his cheeks.

"Sunflowers always follow the sun, wherever they turn. With no exceptions, no setbacks. My Savior told me that their unwavering loyalty to the sun reminded her of you. And, once you joined our paradise, she knew for sure that you will never stray from her." Ray turns to look at him in the eyes, his gaze strangely methodical. It causes him to gulp nervously. "-Sunflowers are lost without their sun. They cannot survive without its guidance. A sunflower without its sun there to tell it where to look, is lost and wilted. It will continue to wilt in misery until its sun comes back to show it where to turn."

Yoosung's breath grows shaky. He may have been bad at catching allegories, but this one was pretty on the nose. It left behind a bitter taste in his mouth.

"...I suppose a sunflower really is... my flower."

For some reason, that admission felt heavy in his gut. Like a bag of rocks settling deep within his body, pulling him down with their weight.

"You should be grateful that our Savior will always be there to guide you from now on. You will never feel the absence of her gentle hand again. Isn't that what you always wanted? To be told what to do."

"...Savior is too kind."

- Speaks for you even if you're right next to him. Will order for you at restaurants without being asked. If someone asks you a question and Zen thinks he knows the answer he'll answer it for you as if you aren't capable of answering for yourself.

- hates taking "no" for an answer if he thinks he knows better than you. If you're sick with a cold he'll go against your wishes and call a doctor no matter how many times you insist that you're fine.

- Never learned how to let someone else be in charge of something so he also never lets you take control during sex.

Resistant to change

Makes important decisions without you based on what he thinks you would want

Can come across as very apathetic at times. He thinks he's offering an objective point of view that will help soothe your emotions but instead it can feel like he doesn't care about them because you're being unreasonable.

Saeyoung, who lets himself be honest eventually, —who lets himself chip away and then lets you smooth him over. Whether it was or wasn’t doesn’t matter as much as what he knows he has to do going forward, and the last thing he really wants is to be coddled out of pity. He just wants to be heard, no sympathy necessary, no fawning over the way he sheds the skin he used to wear when he felt like happiness was millions of miles away. He just wants to be listened to. To Saeyoung, it’s the ultimate show of trust to admit to all the things he regrets, let them spill out like word vomit and not have to worry about the consequences. He doesn’t need you to understand, and knows you likely can’t given the specifics of his life’s course thus far, but knowing that you’re keen on carrying the burden with him is such an insurmountable feeling of relief. Finally, someone knows every grimy little corner of his soul and they still love him, still hold him, still want him. . . There’s nothing quite like it.

Saeran, who lets little things slip as time goes on, —stares a little longer when he passes twin popsicles in grocery stores because he knows you won’t ask why. What if MC had no choice but to reset? What if, after enough cycles through each story, they know exactly which night they'll go to sleep next to their love then wake up all alone with a text telling them to go to an address they already know by heart. What if MC was cursed with repeating the same events over and over again, falling in love but never getting to grow beyond a certain point with the love of their life?

The first time it happened, it was jarring. A panic setting in as you woke up, back in your old old apartment, no sign of him anywhere. Had it all been a dream? Surely not.

Then came the text, and it all came flooding back. What was happening?

You were less fearful this time as you walked up to Rika's apartment, even knowing all that you did now about the mysterious circumstances that had brough you here.

When they, the RFA, your family, greeted you as a stranger, it stung in a painfully nostalgic way. Had they really forgotten all about you? But it wasn't that; they hadn't known you in the first place.

You did some things differently, this time around. You gave more attention to one of the members that you'd brushed off the first time. Confusion clouded you on day five when everything began to drift away from the story you remembered. Despite this change, your new bachelor managed to sweep you off your feet, though you always felt guilty whenever he, your lover from the first time, called or texted. You felt guilty having to push him away to stay loyal to your new man.

You had almost forgotten about that jarring day when everything had reset. Almost. Until it happened again. You were more prepared this time, but felt almost exceedingly empty as you read the text asking for your help. You wanted to ignore it, to stop this toying with your heart. But you knew you couldn't stay away from the RFA. You were bound, heart and soul. So you did as 'Unknown' asked.

You began to dread it more and more each new route, never knowing when you were going to wake up alone and start the cycle all over again. It became numbing. Heartbreaking. But you could never stay away.

Eventually, you'd seen every possible way it could end. There had been a time you'd hoped to find a road that wouldn't end. A path that wouldn't lead to you waking up alone, forced to greet your closest friends as new strangers. But you'd long since given that up.

You'd seen every success, every possible failure. Felt every swell of new love, every shattering heartbreak. Made friends, made enemies, just for it all to be washed away.

There was a time when you'd begun to intentionally run everything into the ground. It was easier to repeat random 5-day loops than to go months, years, before having it all ripped away from you. But bringing them heartbreak hurt you more.

You were careful now. So careful. Especially with him.

You could never bring yourself to be careless with him. You didn't know why, but after a while, he began to stick out to you more than all the rest. No matter which path you walked, he always caught your eye. The way he said things, his way of thinking, how he tried to look out for you in his own little way.

So you pursued him. You'd won his heart before, many times, but you did it again with a purpose. You knew it wouldn't last. You knew one day, you'd wake up and it would all be over. But you loved him. You really loved him. And when the night came that you knew would be the last, you tried desperately not to sleep. But it was as if some curse took over you, forcing your eyes to close. When you awoke, it was all gone.

But you wouldn't let that stop you. Again, you followed him, your north star, your guiding light. Again, you won his heart. And again, you woke up. It was the third time when you noticed something different. Just a moment. A spark. A faint look in his eyes when you saw him face to face, some wondrous shock, as if he couldn't believe you'd chosen him. More than that usual look in his eyes when he saw you for what you believed to be his first time.

But the look wasn't enough for you to say something. Not yet. But a fourth time, you chose him. Then a fifth. Till finally, on the sixth time through, he gave you a look as if you'd gone insane, and he loved you for it. You'd asked without thinking. "You remember, don't you?"

He hadn't had to speak a word for you to know the answer. You knew him too well. He woke up alone, the same as you. And you loved him fiercer. Again and again and again, determined now to always choose him. No matter how repetitive, no matter how painful, you couldn't choose anyone but him, knowing he'd have to watch you fall in love with another man if you chose any other path.

When the fateful night settled in, wrapped up in each others arms, you were silent. You both knew what this night meant. When the daylight comes I'll have to go. You felt his tears trickle into your hair. "I don't wanna start all over."

And you didn't either. "I know, baby, I know." You held him so close, promising, "I'll choose you. I'll always choose you." And you meant it. You'd never be able to make it through now without him. You had him, now, and you weren't letting go.

And when the daylight comes I'll have to go, but tonight I'm gonna hold you so close, 'cause in the daylight we'll be on our own, but tonight I'm gonna hold you so close.

Summary: You are reninicising your first date after you two break up, thinking about how it came full circle.

This was inspired by my and ex and I’s first date. I thought you guys might like this as an x reader.

“Do you ever feel lonely?”

I quickly swivel my head towards the male beside me in my driveway. It was only the first date, but something made me feel so secure, and I was optimistic that he was clearly the one. He uttered words I wanted to hear my entire life and only thought happened in those little books and fanfiction I read online. I never once imagined that I could ever be in their shoes.

“Y-Yeah. More than I'd like to admit.” I respond quietly while adverting my attention to the bug crawling on the driveway below me.

“I can fix that.” He says quietly as his right arm snakes around my waist and pulls me into him. I could feel my heart beating inside my chest and my body heating up. This sensation I felt was new but very much welcomed. Everything about him and this date and his words were like a dream. I've never felt this way, and it was startling.

Minutes passed as he held me in his arms, both of us leaning against another vehicle in the driveway. We observed the stars above us with Star Shopping by Little Peep playing calmly in the background, murmuring about everything like we were old friends catching up.

“Can I kiss you?” He requests unexpectedly.

I was never the one to kiss someone on the first date, but everything felt so right, and I trusted him. He made me feel so safe and loved.

“Y-Yeah,” I reply nervously with a slight shake from all the intense feelings stirring in my chest. I closed my eyes in anticipation as he put a hand gently under my chin and tilted my head upwards before his lips gently met mine. There was no hunger, but passion felt through the kiss, and I went in for more. I knew then that I was smitten. When we break away, I smile all giddy and happy and embrace him with my face buried in his chest before I rest my head against it, looking up at him.

“You are so adorable, especially with those eyes.” He cracked up lovingly before kissing my forehead.

I was smitten, but, like all good things, It ended, and I was left feeling desolate once again, more than I ever had.

Engagement rings headcanons

Was scrolling through the engagement rings with my friendo the other day, and they dared me to choose individual rings for everyone in mm, so here's the result of that silly dare. I know we technically already know about this from the 'mysterious confesson' merch we got, but this was still a very fun exercise to do. These are just my headcanons, and were made solely for fun, don't take my thoughts on this too seriously! :D

Yoosung

Would go with something classy and romantic, probably a bit of vintage, too. He wants your engagement ring to reflect his love for you, which may lead him to become antsy and indecisive when picking one. He doesn't want it to be too expensive, or too cheap. It has to be just right. Poor guy even sketches out a clumsy 'prototype' he shows to the employees, as it's hard to relay his vision across with just words. In the end, he ends up either getting either a classic diamond ring with an infinity band (he thinks it's sweet to include a small detail of your appreciation to each other lasting forever, however cheesy that may sound) or something a bit more vintage and intricate in style. I don't think he would have any preferences concerning the color of metal, so he might go with a mix of white and yellow metal.

Zen

Would definitely go over the top - the man's a true romantic, you can't tell me he hasn't dreamed of his wedding at least a couple of times! He appreciates everything you've done for him, and he wants this ring to show it. He wants this ring to be everything you've ever dreamed of and so much more. Might struggle with high expectations he sets up for himself, which results in him just stressing himself out instead of enjoying the process like he's supposed to. You might have to have a talk with him about that. As for the ring itself, I think he'll go with something pink and soft in color! There's just something that's is so sweet and light whenever he looks at rose gold engagement rings, it makes him instantly think about you. That's when he knows it's the one. After all, pink is the color of romance!

Jaehee

Would get something custom-made, but still pretty traditional. She wants something that would catch your attention, but won't be an inconvenience to wear. She wouldn't stress out too much, and you two would probably agree on a design together, instead of her surprising you with something. You are her partner, and she wants your rings to reflect that. A delicate and easy design is her go-to. But, if you want something eye-catching, that's okay too, as long as it's not a bother to wear. I think she would go with platinum options when it comes to color. It's simple but very pretty to look at. Kind of like you :) She would also like to add custom engravings to your rings. Something to look at and smile as she twirls the ring around her finger. Either a cheesy coordinated phrase (probably out of your favorite musical that you two always quote to each other), or a date of your cafe's opening, as it's the start of her new life that she has managed to achieve thanks to your support.

Jumin

Would get something fancy, but not over the top. He desires fir your ring to not be too simple, as you are worth more than that. Still, he focuses more on the spiritual meaning of the ring rather than its cost. Money's not an issue to him either way, and he knows that you don't care about how expensive this ring will be. Regardless, he wants only the best for you, as you rightfully deserve. Jumin would go for traditional classic designs, as he finds them the most flattering to look at. Might also like boho-styled engagement rings. When it comes to the process of picking one, he won't overthink it too much. He wants the ring to be perfect, no doubt, but he's pretty cool-headed with his search. Might ask Elizabeth to pick out the best design if he's conflicted. With her intricate collection of collars, he knows she has a good sense of elegance. Would probably go for yellow gold variety when it comes to color, as it's the most classy one in his eyes.

Saeyoung

Would go with something simplistic but unique. I am like 70% sure he would create your engagement rings and wedding bands by hand. It just sounds like something Saeyoung would do. Poor guy would probably be the most stressed of all the others. He wants it to be perfect so badly, but he's also indecisive as hell. See, he's mostly non-traditional when it comes to his tastes, but he also really likes the classic styles of rings, not to mention that the idea of a classic traditional wedding makes him feel all emotional on the inside. This issue would probably persist throughout your entire wedding planning, and not just the creation of your engagement rings: he just can't decide which side to take for the life of him. In the end, he'll probably find the middle ground thanks to your help and encouragement. He's gonna let out the biggest sigh of relief once those rings are finally done. And probably cry right after, as he has never thought he would hold anything as precious as an engagement ring meant for his soulmate in his own hands. Would go with white gold for color.

Jihyun

Would go for something custom-made and simple, but still a bit unique in its presentation. I don't think he has much preference when it comes to style, so he's fine with anything you pick. He doesn't want it to be too ostentatious or expensive, however. He strikes me as someone who prefers more modest designs, even if he'd like to sprinkle some custom design choices. It'll depend on your relationship with him, and what makes it unique for you. He wants your rings to reflect that, more than anything else. He wouldn't be anxious while working on the design itself, occasionally asking for your input, as he wants these rings to be the representation of your shared love, not just his own. He might go a bit overboard and come up with a borderline silly-looking design initially, so it'd be best for you to keep him from getting too creative. Can't fault the man for getting carried away. He would probably go for yellow metal, as it reminds him of the sun.

GE Saeran

Would go for something simple, romantic, and vintage-styled. Saeran doesn't know much about the intricacies that go into picking out an engagement ring, so I can imagine he'd get pretty overwhelmed the first time he tries to research the topic on his own. You'll probably end up picking it out together, patiently discussing important details between yourselves. He knows he doesn't want it to be too fancy or eye-catching, and he knows he wants the ring to remind him of your smile whenever he looks at it. His criteria is pretty easy but sweet nonetheless. It's less about the details and more about his inner feelings. He would probably go for a floral-themed ring if he comes across one that catches his eye, but it's not definitive. He would also go for a colored gemstone, mostly because he likes it better that way. He loves the color pink, as it reminds him of the feeling your gentle love, so he will have a preference for rose gold rings, not doubt.

SE Saeran

Would go for something both unique but elegant. Now, Saeran is definitely not picky when it comes to engagement rings. He kind of feels out of his depth here. Still, it is very important to ask for his input and offer for him to pick out some options he likes, even just on a whim. You two will take your time during this process, as there is no need to rush, and he will get overwhelmed from time to time. It's best to take it one small step at a time, not rushing into anything too quickly. He needs to be reminded that he has nothing to worry about, as all that truly matters is your bond with one another. Saeyoung will probably be the one to make your engagement rings for you, as well as your wedding bands. Partially to not stress Saeran too much with all the shopping, as jewelry stores tend to be too bright for the eyes. It'll be a pretty unique and somewhat edgy design but with a touch of soft colors in the mix. Kind of like him.

Rika

Is the type to go over the top but, in reality, she would like something classic and simple. When she's in a good place both physically and mentally, she's very doting, and she's also a hopeless romantic. I'd say she's almost on par with Zen when it comes to her romantic fantasies, which is why she loves his musicals as much as she does. It can be a good thing, but it also makes her prone to perfectionism. She will pick out a very fancy ring that she thinks is good enough for someone as wonderful as you, but... she feels dissatisfied with the result, and that makes her anxious. Rika is a people pleaser, so she tends to make choices with someone else in mind, rather than trusting her own heart. You guys will have to talk about it. It's hard to understand what you like when you've lived your whole life masking as someone you're not. In the end, I think she would go for something simple and elegant, probably also combine the colors she associates with your love. Keep her in check, though, as we all know Rika's design skills are out of this world.

Vanderwood

Weirdly enough? Despite their seemingly simplistic nature, I think they would go for something very unique and even a little odd-looking. Vanderwood is a pretty laid-back person, but all these casual vibes go out the window once it comes down to design. They are very picky with anything that they own in their closet, and engagement rings are on another level completely. They wear leopard print for a reason! I think they would end up getting something custom-made, as it's the easiest way not to stress out over the perfect design. They are not so much nervous as they are choosy. Still, they do have a major soft spot for you, so it's up to you to stir them in the right direction. They would like you to be very involved in the process of deciding on a perfect engagement ring. The end result will still be weird, though. But, the amount of weirdness will depend solely on you. Whether to embrace the weirdness, or to add just a touch of it - it is your choice to make.

Jumin gives gifts and acts of service. The revolving door of women his father brought in and out of his life profoundly impacted Jumin's view of love. He hardened himself to the idea of it all, closing his emotions off in order to protect himself. Allowing himself to feel, to love and be loved in turn, is a foreign concept to him. However, Jumin is well accustomed to offering physical things as a means of showing appreciation; so giving gifts is a natural part of his immediate range. The same goes for providing acts of service. He's long been seen as the capable businessman, secure in his ability to complete tasks efficiently, so actively doing things for you comes easily to him. Jumin presents you with flowers often, and buys you new jewelry every few weeks. He also indulges you in your hobbies, giving you things to support your endeavors in order to silently cheer you on when words don't come as easily. He offers to help you even when it's clear you don't need it, —just to be sure, and he's on top of every chore and every need you share with him.

Jumin likes to receive quality time & words of affirmation. As a businessman, Jumin knows how precious time is. He's worked against thousands of deadlines by this point in his life, —has set a thousand more in turn, and understands the importance of punctuality and diligence. By no means is his interpersonal relationship standard different in that regard. He feels loved and special when you actively make time for him, because he knows that when someone does that, it's because they care. A lot. Jumin has many insecurities about being in a romantic relationship, worried that he might make one wrong move and watch the foundation crumble. More than anything, he fears being alone. However, those worries can be quenched easily enough by some softly spoken words. Whisper in his ear when he's almost asleep, —pull him in and kiss at the shell of his ear before telling him you're thankful for all the things he's done for you. Yoosung gives physical touch. He's far from shy about loving you. In fact, Yoosung is beyond proud to have you by his side. He really feels like he hit the jackpot with you, —admires you as a person as much as he loves you as a partner. He thinks you're the best, sweetest, most capable person in the entire world, and he shows all of that through lots of varying physical means. Whenever the two of you go out together, his hand is sure to slip its way into your own very quickly. Behind closed doors, he's infinitely clingier. Not that he doesn't understand personal space, and he'll be sure to give it to you if you express that you need it, but Yoosung's main and most prominent love language is physical touch, and he'd like to be near you as often as possible. Yoosung likes to receive words of affirmation. All things considered, Yoosung is by no means a demanding partner. In fact, he expects very little from you and would never press for something you were unwilling to give. Still, even someone like him, who comes across as very happy-go-lucky and aloof, needs reassurance every once in a while. In reality, he might need it more than most. When it comes from you, it doesn't feel condescending, and it doesn't feel like you're speaking down to him or downplaying his maturity. It just makes him smile.

Jihyun gives quality time + acts of service. Guilt runs deep, and Jihyun has not shed the skin of the man he used to be. He has yet to grow into the new flesh of the person he's always yearned to be. He hesitates to touch or offer words of affirmation, lest he make a mistake. But he feels most confident when you sit alongside him; when you watch him work, sit somewhere in the distance and let him take candid pictures of you that he treasures. That quality time fuels him, gives him hope for a brighter future; one where the stars never fail to shine. He likes to feel your presence, even if only from a distance sometimes. Jihyun also goes out of his way to be kind, not out of obligation, but out of desire. When you smile, he feels the warmth of the sun on his skin, —and he seeks to bathe in it for as long as you'll allow. So, he makes you tea or coffee in the mornings, memorizes all your favorite add-ins and the exact amounts you prefer. He pays close attention to the things you enjoy and will offer to help whenever he gets the opportunity. He would go to the ends of the Earth for you if the need arose, but for now, he hopes this freshly prepared lunch is enough to show his love.

Jihyun likes to receive quality time. Since brushing death, Jihyun has come to realize that life is short. In realizing that, he likes to take your time, even if that seems selfish at points. He wants nothing more than for you to be with him, no matter what either of you are doing. He's happy to sit in a silent room with you as you read or finish up some work. All he wants is to be near you. Sometimes, he thinks it's because he hasn't quite grasped that you really do love him, which is of no fault of your own, and unconditionally at that. He hasn't fully processed that you'll love him even when he's weak, —even when he's down and has no idea how to stand up on his own two feet again. All he really wants is for you to be there through all the seasons of him. Experience the chilliest of winters, the most colorful autumns, the sweltering summers, and be there when the middle ground is found once more in his blissful spring retreats as new flowers blossom in the wake of his pent-up tears. He just wants to know that he can turn your way and find you there, ready and willing to listen or even just sit with him for a while.

𖦹. ━ SAERAN !!

Saeran gives acts of service. It's something he's long grown accustomed to, but this time, they're all of his own free will. Words often fail him, and he clams up when the pressure builds, insisting that there's nothing he wants to say. Be patient with him; give him the time he needs to process things, to accept that he deserves to be loved and to love you. Until then, look for his love in the acts of service he provides. His affection is threaded through the snacks he brings to you when he knows you've been working on something for a while, —it's written in between the lines of the way he makes your dinner plate first and takes it when you're finished to wash the dishes before you can make the move to do so. Saeran's love is muted sometimes, and maybe it's not as loud as he'd like it to be, but he's trying his best one day at a time. Let him take care of the chores he knows you dislike, let him soothe his fears of being unworthy as he asks if you need anything every time he gets up to go to the kitchen. He doesn't yet have another way to tell you how he feels. But know he cares, and he's trying every single day, both for himself and for you.

Saeran likes to receive physical touch + words of affirmation. Though he rarely reacts to either, whether that be positive or negative, he likes it when you put your arms around his neck, pull him in close, and tell him that he's enough. Not in that exact phrasing, of course, as that might be a bit overwhelming to him, but when you thank him for the things he does, he knows what you mean. He appreciates compliments about his intelligence, especially when they don't pertain to his work. Saeran also feels hideous sometimes; both inside and out, so compliments about his physical appearance and general personality go a long way. Especially when you acknowledge that he pays attention to your needs, —those comments let him know that you take his actions into consideration and that you see him, that you see his expressions of love, even if they're quiet. Saeran also yearns for warmth. Share yours with him. Don't be offended by the way he tenses sometimes, or the way his body reacts slowly to physical affection. He likes it, he just isn't used to it yet. But he wants to be. Run your thumb across his knuckles and let him melt into you, let his weary head rest on your shoulder. He needs it.

𖦹. ━ HYUN (ZEN) !!

Hyun gives physical touch + quality time. When he touches you, each one is a way for him to say "I love you" without having to muster up the courage to do so through verbal means. That's the hard part, and he worries that saying it might make it too real for you, —it makes him scared that you might hear it and run. That's just his own insecurity talking, but his perception is his reality. Feel his love through the way his fingertips ghost across your skin, in the way his lips press against your temple. Hyun cares more than he could ever say with words. When it comes to you, he can't act the part. Everything is stripped bare, core exposed when he's with you. In that time, —the time he makes for you amidst memorizing lines and weaving his way through adoring fans, Hyun is quick to realize what means the most to him. He loves his job, loves performing, loves being an actor, but he loves you just as much. The time he spends with you is sacred to him, and he values it. He just hopes you do too. Though he's a busybody, someone who likes to be doing things at all times in order to feel productive, Hyun still cherishes the moments of peace he finds with you, and he'd give anything to make them longer: even infinite.

Hyun likes to receive words of affirmation + physical touch. Though he's accustomed to compliments as someone who works on the stage under bright, white lights, compliments from you about any and everything are just. . . Different. They hold a different weight than all the others, perhaps because you know him so intimately, and when you tell him he's handsome, you mean it in a way that his fans simply can't. You mean it in the way that every part of him is pretty, —even the ones he hates and tries to bury deep inside. You mean it in the way that he's always dreamed someone would. Hyun also likes to be touched as much as he likes touching you; and little things go a long way. Holding his hand, letting him rest in your lap, smoothing your thumb over the side of his palm when you lace your fingers with his. . . He goes crazy for that stuff, watches himself divulge into a lovesick mess when you kiss him and make him feel like he's the only man in the world. All he really wants is to be enough, and when you hold him close, he knows he is.

𖦹. ━ SAEYOUNG (707) !!

Saeyoung gives gifts + acts of service. He often feels that his touch, time, and words are invaluable, and his upbringing influenced those feelings into fruition. Saeyoung often feels inadequate and uses humor to cover the scars that run deeper than any flesh wound ever could. Because of this, he often uses his wealth to purchase items for you, and he uses those gifts to express his affections. It's easier for him to give you a present than it is to work up the courage to pull you in and squeeze you until he's had his fill. He also expresses himself through acts of service, —things like getting your favorite snacks and making sure they're always available for you or offering to help you when he sees that you're the one cleaning up around his place rather than Vanderwood, even when he's preoccupied by something else. He's quick to jump at any opportunity to do something kind for you, and he'd even go to dangerous lengths to do it. Not that it'll be necessary!

Saeyoung likes to receive words of affirmation, physical touch, and quality time. He desires everything he fears would never be enough from him. Though he tries not to show it, it's easy for someone close to him (metaphorically and in proximity) to see when he's beating himself up over something. Offer him comfort: hold him, tell him that it's okay for him to not be perfect all the time. He's allowed to feel things, is allowed to make mistakes, because before being a hacker, before being your lover, —he is human. Sometimes, it seems that he forgets that. Your embrace offers him a sanctuary from the harsh realities of the world. Your words numb the ache that lingers in his soul. If you can, he'd also like it if you'd sit with him while he works. It doesn't have to be close to him, —just being in the same room tells him everything he needs to know. He wants your time, even if he's scared to ask for it directly. He wants to crumble into pieces in your arms every once in a while, just so you can hold him together. Saeyoung is human, after all.
