RFA + Minor Trio with an angst scenario - happy end

Hey! So, this left so many possibilities open ahahhaha, I didn’t really know what to decide on! Hope you still like it tho! By the way, @annbourbon made me come up with a story. The request I was sent by them/ the story they told me made us agree on a request. Since I suddenly thought this could fit in well in this request, I decided to use their request for Jumin’s story. This was their request:

I'm sorry it took me so long. I'm new relatively new on Tumblr and I didn't know how to submit anything. I'm the girl whose dad almost makes her tortilla because of bad driving in middle of a flood. Can you make a story about Jumin Han driving with MC in middle of a flood? I'm imagining a full Fast and Furious while it's pouring and MC trying to calm down Jumin and he gets lost being so close to home. (?) or in a place they're supposed to know very well. I'm not sure what else to say. But whatever you do it's okay. I'll be just terrified and happy to survive.💀🤣

Jumin

,,Shouldn’t you rather call a taxi to drive you home?’’ Jaehee asked the both of you. The assistant was currently trying to help Jumin out of a situation no one knew of - Jumin Han was not only bad at taking pictures, the young CEO in line was also a bad driver.

He was just about to agree to that idea if you didn’t tell her that you would love to see your handsome husband behind a wheel.

Jumin, overjoyed by your wish, suddenly forgot that he didn’t touch the leather of the wheel for way too much time and instead smiled at you before he walked off with you to the garage of the big company, deciding that he would take a company car.

Jaehee, however, wasn't really sure if this was the best idea and instead decided to plan something on her own…

Jumin opened the door of the black car for you, making sure that you were seated comfortably in your seat before he walked around the car to sit down himself.

,,The seatbelt first,’’ he smiled, making sure that everything was safe for you, the most precious thing he cared for in his life.

,,I’m excited to see how you will drive,’’ you giggled, and suddenly Jumin remembered that he was actually a very bad driver.

Would you leave him for this fact?

Jumin decided to start the motor, just for the car to suddenly move forward and turn off again with a strong shaking movement.

You gasped and Jumin freezed.

,,Did you forget to leave your feet on the pedal?’’ you asked Jumin.

Ah, pedals, he needs the pedals too, true.

,,Sorry, I… I forgot,’’ he said, nodding to himself and stepping on the pedal before starting the car for the second time.

,,Let me bring you home, my love,’’ he said and smiled at you before his face turned all serious again, ready to take off to drive to your shared home.

,,Are you sure that…you know where we’re heading to?’’ you asked him, your voice trembling as you were trying to hold onto something.

The raindrops fell heavily on the black car while the windshield wipers tried to wipe away the water that made it impossible for Jumin to see anything in the darkness.

,,I think we should stop here and call a taxi, Jumin,’’ you gasped, sounding hysterical.

Jumin, however, not really realizing that he was putting your life in danger, kept trying to tell you everything was okay, even though the car broke down again because he stepped on the wrong pedal for the third time in a row.

,,No! We don’t know where the heck we are at the moment. You seem way too unstable to drive and I want you to NOW stop the car!’’ you hissed. For the first time ever, Jumin heard you yell at him and so of course, he had to look over to you with big eyes, while still driving.

A fatal mistake, the next thing you heard was a honk, Jumin drastically turning the car to your right and then an impact before darkness.

,,MC?!’’ Jumin gasped, as soon as he opened his eyes.

He could not move. He felt as if he was trapped.

His heart was beating like crazy as he quickly turned his head to his right.

,,Assistant Kang…?’’ he whispered. You were getting treated by Jaehee, who just put a bandage on your cheek.

,,I am thanking the Lords that I made someone drive behind your car, Mr. Han. Why didn’t you go directly home?’’ she asked the black haired man who was trying to understand the situation.

The both of you were currently stuck and firefighters had to open the car.

Luckily, neither one of you was seriously injured, something no one could really believe.

,,We were driving around in front of our home, Jumin. We…we were just too stupid to realize,’’ you groaned, annoyed.

Jumin was still feeling bad and embarrassed, but more than happy to see later on that you weren’t hurt anywhere.

,,I promise I will never drive again, my love,’’ he gasped.

Zen

,,We installed cameras, we hired Jumin’s bodyguards, we changed the keys, we went on private mode on instagram, and still these things happen! This isn’t normal! Please take care of it!’’ Zen hissed over the phone.

However, the police were still not willing to help either of you.

You were sitting on the couch, your arms around your knees as Jaehee was patting your back.

It was three in the morning, thank God you were still chatting in the chatroom with Jaehee and Seven despite it being way too late for you to be awake.

Only thanks to that, you could hear someone trying to break in and could wake up Zen and alarm the two RFA members in the chatroom, who immediately were on their way to yours and Zen’s place.

Luckily nothing happened, but the sick stalker who was haunting you for over a month now, was still able to leave a letter for you.

,,You look beautiful while you’re sleeping in the white robe. You shouldn’t stay awake this late,’’ the letter said, which was something that gave you chills.

,,Nothing! They won’t come!’’ Zen groaned angrily, tossing his phone to the other side of the couch while Seven was checking the door.

,,I brought some cameras with me. I will install them and then check on them. Whenever something seems off, I will be able to take action,’’ Seven said.

Zen’s eyes went back to you.

You were so frightened that you were even unable to cry.

,,Jagiya…I’m so sorry,’’ he whispered, taking the spot next to you and slowly taking you in his arms, making Jaehee stop comforting you.

You placed your hand on Zen’s before your eyes met his. ,,It isn’t your fault, Hyun,’’ you promised him.

,,I…I just hope that we soon will be able to find out who it is…’’

Days went by after the accident and nothing happened anymore for five days.

Thinking that the CCTV was able to make him give up, both you and Zen felt a bit better now.

However, you were still cautious.

,,I hate going to work on my day off. My work-life-balance is getting harmed!’’ he whined, putting on his pants.

You smirked, observing the skin of your boyfriend. Of course, this didn’t go unnoticed by Zen.

,,Wait here for me, princess,’’ he chuckled as soon as he saw your lustful eyes.

,,Wait here for me. Let me just take care of this problem,’’ the director said to Zen as soon as he arrived to have a meeting with the director.

The short moment, however, passed by and Zen was already waiting for his boss for half an hour.

Being woken up suddenly by the call, Zen’s eyes felt rather heavy and after blinking three times, he finally gave in, closing his eyes to take a short nap while waiting.

,,HYUN! HYUN, HELP ME! NO!!’’ - ,,MC?!’’ Zen gasped, his eyes wide open, trying to get adjusted to the light in the room he was waiting in.

Zen rubbed his eyes. His heart was still beating like crazy as he tried to check how much time had passed.

,,Half an hour, fuck you, honestly!’’ Zen cussed and took his helmet, dialing Seven’s number on his way out to his bike.

,,The camera has been hacked and off the whole day and I just realized now…!’’ Seven said. Zen could hear the aggressive keyboard hitting as his friend was probably trying to check why nothing was working.

This made Zen feel even worse.

His dream was making him go crazy and the worst was that after he cut the call with Seven, you weren’t picking up either…

,,MC?! MC, WHERE ARE YOU?!’’ Zen called as soon as he got off of his bike, not caring that his beloved bike just fell on the grass.

The door was open and you weren’t to be seen anywhere his eyes could reach at the moment.

He could feel himself not getting enough air to breathe, scared something could have happened while he was gone.

Zen barged into every room of the shared home the both of you had until he finally found you, scared on your bed while this man was standing in front of you.

Zen didn’t hesitate to jump on top of the stranger, crashing to the floor.

,,Hyun!’’ you finally cried out.

,,I got him, Princess, don’t worry,’’ he gasped.

Finally, the police arrived to take care of the stranger and Zen could hold you in his arms again.

,,No one will ever be able to hurt you, Mc. None will ever be able to scare you like that again…I promise, I will protect you.’’

Yoosung

,,This is just…I don’t know what to call it!’’ you said to your husband.

His face was red in anger as he just glared at you.

,,It’s childish, that’s it!’’ you told him, moving your arms up and down.

,,Okay, and what do you want me to do now?’’ Yoosung asked you, annoyed that you were once again so moody.

,,What I want you to do? Yoosung, for God’s sake I am your wife! You need to take my side! You have to sleep with me in bed at the end of the day, not with your mom! It’s not okay that she keeps making decisions for the both of us! It’s our marriage!’’ you repeated.

,,I understand you, Mc, but my mom is a very wise woman. She just wanted to give her advice. You’re my wife, but she’s my mother too! You can’t talk bad about her!’’ Yoosung defended her.

You gasped, as you never ever dared to speak bad about your mother-in-law, not in the past and neither in this discussion.

The reason why you and Yoosung were fighting at the moment was simply over the fact that his mother decided that you would celebrate New Years at her home this year, despite you wanting to have a new year with your family too.

Since it would be too stressful, you then said that they should all just come to your place. However, this wasn’t that good of an idea and that’s how the discussion found its roots.

Your mother-in-law wanted her children at her home and you wanted to see your family for once too.

Since your idea wasn’t welcome, you then said that you and Yoosung would have New Years separated. This however, was the worst you could possibly say.

After you and your mother-in-law got into an argument and Yoosung didn’t even take your side, the both of you kept arguing at home.

Now the both of you were standing angrily in front of each other.

You sighed as you looked away from your husband.

,,I don’t know if I can live with you like that,’’ you said as your voice was trembling.

Yoosung was still way too angry to realize your pain.

,,I…I don’t want to argue with my husband. This is not how I imagined my life,’’ you said as you were fighting your tears.

,,Don’t you realize that I also have a family? I’m neglecting my mother! I didn’t see my father, Yoosung! We never go to my family! It’s making me sad!’’ you hissed, hitting your chest.

,,That’s not true…’’ Yoosung suddenly mumbled. The blond boy looked to the floor as he adjusted the red glasses he was wearing.

He was suddenly all flustered as he realized that you perhaps were right.

,,But you don’t want to understand,’’ you whimpered and before Yoosung could stop you, you were already out the door.

Time passed, minutes turned into hours, Yoosung had enough time to think about the last discussion and all that was left in his heart was sadness.

,,Mc, please, please come home!’’ he whined as once again his phone call wasn’t picked up.

Yoosung, desperate at this point, nervously walked from one door to the other one.

A thousand thoughts haunted him, his eyes met the clock all the time, observing how the seconds passed slowly.

,,Lisa, what have I done…?’’ he asked the cat, slowly tearing up as he went on his knees.

He was scared that something happened, that once again he lost someone he loved. You wouldn’t jump from a cliff like Rika, would you? You were different people after all, but perhaps, what if you too, taken from your sadness, would decide to not return to him?

Never ever?

His heart skipped a beat, he jumped up and took his jacket, ready to head out, hoping that he could still find you after he let you go in that state.

Suddenly, just when he opened the door, someone else was trying to push it open too.

Yoosung met your eyes, your swollen red eyes while he looked at you with big, surprised eyes.

,,Mc…’’ he whispered, his voice trembling.

,,Yoosung…’’ you hiccuped and hugged him.

Just now, Yoosung saw that a police officer was standing behind you.

It turned out that someone tried to rob your purse.

You fought back, but as soon as the adrenaline left your body, you became a total wreck.

Yoosung could only hold you while the police officer finished a few documents.

,,I’m sorry,’’ he whispered, kissing the top of your head.

What would have happened if the person had a knife? You would be gone from this world and your parents wouldn’t have even had the opportunity to see you one last time because of him.

Luckily, the argument was sorted out. Yoosung totally supported you and in the end, New Years was very fun at your guys’ house with even the RFA joining you…

Jaehee

,,What do you want for dinner?’’ Jaehee asked you while the both of you were cleaning up the coffee shop the both of you owned.

You stopped scrubbing the table and looked at the clock.

It was already so late and honestly, you didn’t really enjoy cooking. Besides, you already felt pretty hungry.

,,Wanna grab some takeout?’’ you asked her, looking over to her again.

Jaehee’s eyebrows went up, smirking at you as she was shaking her head. ,,Listen, who was the person who judged me years ago because of my bad eating habits?’’ she asked you, making you think of the times when you first came into the RFA, asking her to take care of her meals while working under Jumin.

,,Okay, you’re right…Maybe you could grab a pizza at the shop across the street?’’ you asked her.

Jaehee was still thinking of the old days. Back then she never thought that the both of you could come to become such a great couple. Starting a coffee shop with you wasn’t even an option at that time.

But the more Jaehee came to know you better, the more she came to feel attracted to you and the more she wanted to share her dream with you.

And even though she was scared at first, leaving Jumin and starting something totally new on her own, she knew that with your support, nothing would be impossible.

And indeed, years later everything turned out to be more than perfect.

Of course, it was also due to your studies.

,,Okay, then I will bring you a pizza,’’ she smiled and took off the apron.

,,By the way, the candles in the kitchen aren’t blown out yet,’’ she warned you.

Perhaps at the time, she should have blown them out herself.

Perhaps, if Jaehee would have acted differently, the big accident would have never happened.

But no one would ever find out because destiny wasn’t changed, but happened just like it was supposed to happen.

And since this shop meant a lot to the both of you, instead of saving your life and running out, you tried to take care of the fire.

,,No no no no, please, this is Jaehee’s dream!’’ you cursed yourself and tried to not lose the whole kitchen into the flames, slowly putting yourself in danger.

You weren’t sure how long you were already trying to take care of the fire. Somehow, you lost track of time.

At some point, you even realized that there was nothing you could do and fell on your knees, crying uncontrollably.

,,So this is how I will die…?’’ you asked yourself, coughing as the smoke was making it harder and harder to breathe, making you slowly lose consciousness…

,,Please! I beg you! My girlfriend is in there!’’ Jaehee begged the fireman, her hands holding onto his jacket, the pizza on the floor, not edible anymore.

By the time she finally paid for the pizza, the fire had already spread too much and of course, the arrival of the firetruck was delayed even more.

There was no way that the men could now enter the building anymore, despite Jaehee telling them that you were probably still in the hot inferno.

Her tears were rolling down her cheeks as she gasped and sobbed louder.

There was no way she would let you die there, alone in that scary place. She promised you to stay by your side as you feared to stay alone one day.

And Jaehee wanted to at least keep her last promise.

,,YOU CAN’T ENTER THERE!’’ a fireman yelled when he noticed that Jaehee was getting ready.

The men were holding her back while Jaehee screamed your name, cried for you, and tried to get away from them.

,,MC!!’’ she yelled a last time, before the building was coming down. Jaehee just watched the building breaking down, her future with you as well.

So maybe her dream was a nightmare?

If she wouldn’t have tried to go for her dreams, would you be still alive now…?

,,A SURVIVOR!’’ a manly voice said, making Jaehee look up again.

Paramedics tried to help that little thing, black from the smoke.

,,Mc…’’ Jaehee gasped.

Perhaps, the dream that just turned into a nightmare, was more like a miracle…

Saeyoung

,,It’s the third day in a row and you are once again running a fever, Mc,’’ he said, the cold towel on your forehead as you tried to calm down.

You were feeling sick. You felt as if you would throw up any minute now and no matter what you did, nothing would help you.

,,Maybe we should visit a doctor,’’ he said and looked at the watch, debating with himself whether to bring you to the hospital or not.

,,Mhh, no, let’s wait for tomorrow,’’ you whispered, closing your eyes as your head was spinning.

You felt weak, sick, and tired.

The only thing you wished for was to sleep, but no matter what you did to get rest, it made you feel even worse.

By now, Saeyoung was worried that it was something severe, but you just didn’t want to visit a doctor yet.

,,Why wait more? You aren’t feeling well!’’ he argued.

,,Saeyoung, the hospital fee will be high,’’ you told him and turned your head to not see his face anymore.

Saeyoung suddenly had the odd feeling that you knew something he still wasn’t aware of.

,,Okay, let me bring you tea,’’ he whispered before he kissed your forehead and quickly headed towards the kitchen to prepare the tea.

However, he quickly noticed that you fell asleep.

Taking the tea back with him, which he wasn’t planning on drinking, he decided to instead reread the old background check he did back then when you first entered the RFA, noticing something odd.

,,What are these?’’ Saeran asked, behind his brother as he watched over the red-haired man’s shoulders.

,,I don’t know, but the data is locked. I can’t access the hospital’s data…’’ he whispered and suddenly, the fear of you being heavily sick just became stronger and stronger.

Whatever information he couldn’t open, it was surely something related to your sickness right now.

Without hesitating, the red-haired man entered your room and took you in his arms, waking you up.

,,What are you doing?’’ you asked him. Your head was still spinning and you just felt worse after sleeping for a few minutes.

You quickly gave up arguing with him and instead tried not to throw up in his care as he silently drove you to the nearest hospital.

Just after the doctor assured you that you were healthy and it was just a normal infection, he could feel rest assured.

,,Why didn’t you trust me when I told you that I was alright? I mean, I’m not going to pay that fee!’’ you hissed, regretting your reaction immediately after you felt a big headache.

,,I…there was data which was locked…’’ he mumbled, driving home as softly as possible, fearing you could really throw up in his car.

Later on, Saeyoung noticed that he didn’t open your data but Jumin’s, which was locked since he was a very important person…

Saeran

The young boy observed you as you typed something on your laptop, probably answering some emails for the RFA as you were in charge of preparing the next RFA Party.

Saeran, who had the day off, silently observed you.

Somehow he had the feeling that he couldn’t approach you and that you built up a high wall around you.

For the first time ever since he met you, he didn’t have the courage to speak to you, approach you, or ask you to go out with him.

Perhaps he wasn’t afraid of approaching you, but more-so feared the fact that you could possibly reject him.

,,Mc?’’ Saeran called out for you, his voice trembling.

Without looking up you nodded, signaling him to speak, making him even more nervous.

Saeran didn’t say anything, but just observed you as you kept typing on your keyboard.

At some point, you decided to look up.

You sighed as you looked at your boyfriend. ,,Why call me out and stay silent afterward? Say something if you call me,’’ you told him.

Saeran didn’t know how to feel about your words or the way you were talking to him.

Were you annoyed?

Was this the end? Did he somehow annoy you so much that you would now leave him?

Or were you already at the verge of leaving?

Saeran put his hand on his chest. Everything was feeling so tight around there as his lips began to tremble.

,,No, sorry…nothing,’’ he mumbled.

As soon as you said these words, your eyes were once again down on your display.

Hours went by and Saeran didn’t really know what to do with his free day since you were so distant, so he decided to clean up your shared bedroom.

,,Huh?’’ Saeran gasped, holding a ticket in his hands.

Without thinking, the man approached you with tears in his eyes as he asked you what the meaning of this was.

,,Are you going to leave me, Mc? Is it because I failed to find Saeyoung? Am I annoying? Will you really leave me?’’ he asked you.

You were still kind of perplexed by his sudden rage before you looked closer at the tickets.

,,Saeran, how would I be able to leave? Like, can I even go to the past?’’ you asked your boyfriend who just noticed that the ticket fell just off from your decorated wall in your room.

,,I’m sorry, I should have told you to go on a date… or at least I should have helped you…’’ Saeran whispered when you were sitting in his lap later in the evening, explaining why you were so distant.

The guest you wanted to invite was a rather complicated one and you really needed him to somehow fight against the prime minister.

The two of you luckily sorted out the misunderstanding and at least were able to enjoy the last moments together that evening…

Jihyun

It all happened so quickly.

One moment ago, Lucy was holding Jihyun’s hand while you were looking at some baby clothes for your newborn.

And in the next moment, Lucy let go of her father’s hand.

Jihyun, who just watched you walking off since the baby had to be fed, thought that the little girl was going to walk with her mom.

However, he was wrong.

After you returned from feeding the newborn baby ten minutes later, the two of you noticed that the girl the two of you adopted was gone.

,,Where’s Lucy?’’ you asked your husband, your voice a bit annoyed as you hated it when children were left unattended.

Your eyes quickly searched for the girl with the brown hair as you were holding the mint-haired baby in your arms.

,,Didn’t she walk off with you?’’ Jihyun asked you back.

Just now, the both of you realized what happened.

Your face was filled with horror and panic as you immediately began to call out for Lucy.

,,How could you be so irresponsible?!’’ you hissed, feeling rage.

Your eyes were teary as you called out once again for Lucy.

You began to ask every stranger for the little girl who was with you just a few minutes ago while Jihyun was feeling guilty because of his mistake.

He quickly informed the staff.

People were positioned at all doors so that no one could possibly go without being seen.

However, the possibility that Lucy was already gone was high. Too high.

The panic hit you hard as you began to sob, Jihyun next to you, holding you tightly in his arms as he called Jumin to get some bodyguards to check the surroundings of the building of the mall the both of you were in.

,,What if they kidnapped her? Oh God, they- what if-’’ you didn’t dare to say it out loud, your head filled with worries. The more you thought about it, the more you lost hope.

,,MOMMY!’’ the girl suddenly exclaimed.

You quickly turned around, seeing a young woman walking with Lucy towards you and Jihyun.

,,LUCY!’’ you cried and ran towards the stranger, hugging your daughter, the baby still in your arms as you sobbed harder.

,,I found her with the candies,’’ the stranger explained before you thanked her ten thousand times.

Jihyun made sure to give the young woman a reward before he told everyone that Lucy was back again.

Since then, the two of you made sure to double-check who the children were with and you and Jihyun also apologized to each other…

Vanderwood

,,How does it feel being in love?’’ Yoosung asked out of the blue while you were preparing dinner. Saeyoung and Saeran looked up from their phones, trying to get new software on the RFA chatroom while Vanderwood tried to help you out with the food.

You didn’t say a word to the blond boy who was getting teased by the twins, something your boyfriend took as a warning.

,,Love is just an imagination,’’ you said to Yoosung after he told everyone who he had a crush on lately and how their dates went.

The long-haired man turned his head around to you, his heart beating like crazy as he felt hurt by the words you just said.

Even he himself had the feeling that the both of you were something special, had a special bond, and were deeply in love.

Hearing these harsh words from you, however, made him feel as if his love was one-sided.

And suddenly, the evening was just a horrible way of ending the day.

Vanderwood was in a bad mood and everyone could sense the sudden change of atmosphere.

Even you could sense that your boyfriend was suddenly different.

His facial expression showed you that he felt bugged by something, but you could never imagine that he was in rage by your comment.

You didn’t even realize that your comment hurt his feelings.

Just after the three boys left your apartment to go back home, you and Vanderwood had the chance to talk.

You guys had the chance to talk - he, however, chose a different way.

,,Why are you packing your stuff? I thought you wanted to stay over till Monday,’’ you asked him, putting the plates together.

The two of you still weren’t living together and so Vanderwood often stayed over.

,,I thought,’’ he said as he looked up, looking even angrier now, ,,you might need some time alone,’’ he finished his sentence.

,,Why would I?’’ you asked him, putting the things you had in your hands away, slowly approaching him.

Your heart was pounding very quickly and suddenly your fear of losing someone kicked in.

You were scared of making new bonds, but it was even scarier to let go of that bond, to know that the person you loved left you.

You couldn’t stand the feeling of being left alone, having the feeling that you weren’t good enough.

That you made a mistake, that you made that person go.

And Vanderwood knew well enough.

,,I thought, love is just imagination? This is what you told Yoosung earlier. I…I know that you hate to cut off bonds, that you’re scared, but I can’t live my life like this…’’ he mumbled, putting even more clothes in his bag.

,,Vanderwood, wait…wait!’’ you hiccuped, quickly grabbing his shirt.

Your hands were trembling. You were already crying and Vanderwood was suddenly worried if this was the right way.

,,Don’t leave,’’ you whispered, ,,don’t leave me, I can explain…’’ you groaned.

He stayed and quickly afterwards regretted his words.

In fact, you told him, crying in his lap, that Yoosung already told you separately about the person he was seeing and that the two of you had an argument because you were sure that the person he was seeing was just using him for his kindness.

,,I said these things to him because I wanted to tell him once again that what he feels isn’t true love… but loving the idea of being needed by that person…’’

The misunderstanding was solved quickly, however, Vanderwood felt even worse for causing you such great pain…

Hmm... Personally, I only ever saw them as very close friends to each other, but it's certainly fun to explore their dynamic a little bit further. So, take my thoughts with a grain of salt, since I don't really pair them in a romantic sense!

Zen respects Jaehee greatly: he states that more than once throughout the game. Her work ethic is more than admirable. But, it isn't just that trait of hers that earned his respect. They're more similar than it may seem at first glance. The way Jaehee tries so hard to carry the weight of the whole world on her shoulders is so painfully familiar to him. They both grew up fending for themselves in this cruel and cold world, having to eventually learn not to rely on anyone else. They both never had a family to call their own. While Jaehee tragically lost her mother due to the horrific accident shortly after living through her father's passing, Zen had to run away from his highly abusive home life and leave his family behind for his own safety. I believe that's partially the reason why Jaehee got so attached Zen in the first place.

Seeing him achieve so much all by himself is so incredibly inspiring to her. They both had a rough upbringing, and observing his career grow and flourish gives her that, maybe one day, she might find the passion of her own.

Zen, on the other hand, finds out about Jaehee's difficult childhood only once they get further into their friendship. She's not one to be open about her struggles with other people. She doesn't want to worry those closest to her... And learning about that vulnerable side of her will make their connection prosper only farther.

Jaehee reminds Zen that he's loved just the way he is. Not for his looks and not for his achievements. He's loved and appreciated for simply being himself and enjoying what he does. Just by being himself he brings so much happiness into the lives of so many people that genuinely want to support him and see him grow. On the other hand, Zen is the one that encourages Jaehee to pursue her dreams without any fear inside her heart. He believes in her. For the first time in her life, someone tells her to choose what she truly wants.

Whether you see them as friends or partners, you can't deny just how important their relationship really is.

Now, if we're speaking about a wedding for them... I don't think it'll be anything grand. They respect each other, and Jaehee is not one for big celebrations, especially when it concerns something so incredibly personal for her. It'll be a small and lovely ceremony with only those closest to them as guests. Absolutely no paparazzi are allowed. By this point, Jaehee has already grown out her hair, so I think she'd prefer a hairstyle that shows off the length of her hair in all its beauty, like a metaphorical representation of her growth. (Off topic, but it's certainly cute to think about Jaehee and Zen sharing their hair care routine with each other!) As for the dress... it'll be elegant yet simple. Something natural that brings out her beauty.

Zen, on the other hand, will go all out for his outfit. Any occasion to dress up is exciting in his eyes and your very own wedding? Well, that's a day you're supposed to remember for the rest of your life, so he should dress accordingly! The ceremony will be peaceful and unrushed. It's a private moment to celebrate just how far they've come in their lives, as well as the treasured connection they've formed with each other over the years.

The RFA w/ MC who loves sewing

What? A post? From me? You're crazy, there's no way that's happening.

I'm trying to get back into writing for this blog and recently started replaying Mystic Messenger because I want poor sleep 💕 Basically I'm letting my fixation fuel my writing because... the sentence ends there.

Enjoy these headcanons! I thought they turned out really cute~

(FYI: I used fem!MC for these headcanons; girlfriend/wife/etc.)

Yoosung:

He found out in the RFA chatroom when the two of you were talking about games and hobbies.

Yoosung had been excitedly telling you about the armor set he had gotten in his latest LOLOL binge, sending a picture and saying how he wishes he could wear cool armor in real life.

“I can make it for you”

“MC… what???”

And this is where he discovered your passion for sewing and your side-hobby of cosplay

He had a little experience with sewing, he could sew on a button and fix small tears thanks to his high school “home ec” classes, but you’re talking about making entire outfits and costumes from scratch.

THAT’S. SO. COOL.

He is amazed and thoroughly impressed by your talents, even moreso after you send some pictures of your completed works.

It’s amazing that you can make your own clothes, but he’s definitely super impressed with your cosplays. They’re insanely detailed, matching perfectly with the source material. He often says that your cosplays look better than the source material. They’re true works of art in his eyes.

Praises your talents nonstop.

Talks about it all the time to everyone. Every one of his friends knows how skilled his girlfriend is. And the other RFA members know tenfold.

After hearing you talk about your projects, Yoosung decided to join the sewing club at school in the hopes that he could help you with your amazing work! (Not that you need help, he really just wants to participate in something you love)

What ends up happening though is him sitting beside you at the sewing machine and getting lost in your working rhythm. (“Yoosung, are you paying attention? I thought you wanted me to give you tips?” “S-sorry, MC!! You’re just… really good at this… Like magic!”)

There’s no way he’ll be able to catch up with your skill anytime soon, so you compromise with him. You’ll make the costumes, but he has to cosplay with you~

He found out just before one of his performances.

The costume he was wearing was a bit snug but worked fine in all the dress rehearsals, so he didn’t think much of it at the time.

You were backstage with him before opening night, ready to tell him to break a leg and give the audience a show to remember, when you saw the rip in his jacket.

It was a seam rip behind his left shoulder. Not the worst, but clearly noticeable.

Curtain was in ten minutes.

“Hyun, take off your costume.”

“Jagyia, I know I’m irresistible, but can you wait until after the show?”

“Not like that!!!” >////<

You pulled a flat black case from your purse and opened it, revealing a small sewing kit. You had everything you needed for a sewing emergency. Pins, buttons, snaps, scissors, an assortment of colored thread. And needles, of course.

You fixed the rip and strengthened the seam with four minutes to spare.

Zen asks you about it after the show (which went perfectly, thanks to you) and you explain your sewing hobby to him. Mentioning that you always have your little sewing kit with you for emergencies like tonight.

You show him pictures of the projects you’ve made and entire outfits you’ve designed and created from scratch. A good chunk of your wardrobe are pieces you’ve made yourself.

Of course he supports you! He’s so impressed and is constantly gushing about how talented you are in the chatroom.

Though nothing could prepare him for the moment you said you wanted to make something for him. Looking up at him with big hopeful eyes as you asked if he’d let you design him an outfit. His heart nearly burst.

You poured hours of time and effort into these pieces for him, determined to make this your best project yet. Your magnum opus. (You also sent concept sketches and fabric swatches to Jaehee for her “professional fan opinion”)

When he put it on for the first time, he was speechless. Everything fit perfectly, there wasn’t a part of the outfit that was uncomfortable in the slightest.

And he may be a bit of a narcissist, but he swore that the clothes you crafted made him more handsome than he thought possible. He looked good but never this good.

Your heart was filled with sunshine and warmth when he decided to wear it to an interview.

“My outfit? It’s custom-made. My girlfriend is a very talented seamstress and this was a gift from her~”

Jaehee:

She found out when she called you to complain about the c-fur she was still cleaning up around her apartment.

“Ugh, I’m sorry, Jaehee. I know how bad that can get. I took care of my friend’s cat for a weekend once and I spent an entire month cleaning fur off all my fabric.”

Your fabric?? “What fabric, MC?”

The fabric for your projects of course! Once she got you started, you happily explained your passion to her and how you’ve been making your own clothes for a while now too.

She is also very impressed with your skill and also impressed with how handy it is. You very generously offered to mend her favorite blazer when one of the seams split. You also fixed the two loose buttons you found.

When you two open up the cafe together, you made Jaehee a custom apron to wear. Even going so far as to embroider her name on it along with some decorative coffee beans.

It’s her favorite apron and the one she wears the most while working. (until it has to be cleaned, but then it’s right back in the cafe for her to use)

It gets a lot of compliments too and you’ve actually had a few customers commission you from Jaehee’s (unintentional) promoting.

You since made more clothes for her, even an entire sundress similar to one she had been looking at while you both were out shopping. (You didn’t think the one sold was her color, so you made one yourself that would highlight her best~)

The only issue is the thread and fabric scraps that tend to scatter just as bad as the c-fur… but hey, at lease the end result is more useful! And she can always count on you to tidy your mess when you’re finished~

Jumin:

You mentioned it offhand. Simply mentioning the stitching quality on one of his ties and how you hadn’t made a tie before.

He followed up asking why you would want to make a tie, to which you explained that you often made your own clothes but would love to give yourself a little challenge with something you hadn’t done before.

Initially, he didn’t quite understand. He could easily have any outfit you desired tailored specifically for you, there wasn’t the need to go through all the hassle of making it.

You had to explain that it was your hobby. That, while time consuming and occasionally tedious, you truly enjoyed making your own clothes, and showed him some examples from your closet.

“I’m quite impressed, MC. I’ve only seen this kind of quality come out of trained professionals.”

“I’ll take that compliment. Thank you, love~”

He gives you an entire studio for your projects. While you insist that he doesn’t need to give you so many elaborate gifts, you have to admit that the space is very nice. Much better than working in cramped conditions or on the floor.

While Jumin doesn’t have an interest in joining your craftiness, your husband is more than willing to encourage your hobby monetarily with machine repairs and high quality materials.

Whatever you want, you can have. You’re his darling wife after all.

He even gifted you an antique sewing machine, a vintage 1902 Singer Treadle. You don’t “use” it, but you learned how to just for fun. It’s a lovely decoration of your hobby at the least.

And, yes, you did make a tie for him. Two actually, but you only gave him the second one, insisting that the first was practice only.

It quickly becomes his favorite and he always wears it to important meetings. It’s like having you right there with him for support.

It also becomes quite the talking piece at one of the RFA parties when a member of the Cultured Citizens asks about the brand and price.

“This tie was handmade by my wife and is certainly priceless.”

He would often send you (jokingly) ridiculous “orders” with impossible time frames, including:

An iridescent “Statue of Liberty” costume - 3 days

Twenty-seven onesies for ducks - 4 days

The two of you would banter about it in the chatroom until someone told you guys to knock it off, it was never not fun.

Whenever you finished a new piece or outfit for yourself, you would try it on and call him while standing in front of the camera in the apartment, asking for his opinion.

The cat-themed overall skirt was the one that broke him. You were just so cute with all the decorated pockets~! And the buttons looked like little cats too! You’re just too precious~

After the dust of the first party settled and Saeyoung had his brother back, you took it upon yourself to make Saeran some new clothes. He was going to be your brother-in-law, after all, you wanted to make him feel welcome.

Of course, it then turned into making both boys some new clothes as you kept thinking of new ideas. Not that you minded, this was your passion after all.

I think Saeyoung would also give you your own room/studio in the bunker. A place where you could spread out without worry. (Vanderwood was just grateful he didn’t have to keep cleaning up thread)

Saeyoung was also happy to help with any repairs your sewing machine needed, or he’d just make you a new one… or three… with some—interesting—added features.

“Saeyoung, dear, I don’t think my machine needs a Ph.D Pepper dispenser.”

“But what if my honey gets thirsty while she works?!”

“...But won’t the sewing shake up all the carbonation? It would explode on my pretty clothes T^T”

“OMG! I’m so sorry!! I’ll take it out right away!!”

This kind of conversation happens regularly.

Eventually, there was one top-secret project that you were working on… one that you made Saeyoung swear not to snoop through. Even going so far as to have Saeran keep an eye out to make sure his brother stayed true to his word. (He did but he whined about it)

The project took a long time and you had to have Saeran help you order the materials in secret.

Saeyoung didn’t like being kept in the dark, it made him uneasy. You assured him it was okay and that you just didn’t want the surprise to be ruined.

He was still uneasy, but he trusted you.

And it was all worth it in the end…

When you walked down the aisle in your handmade wedding dress, glittering and shining like stars in the night sky you both loved so much.

Engagement rings headcanons

Was scrolling through the engagement rings with my friendo the other day, and they dared me to choose individual rings for everyone in mm, so here's the result of that silly dare. I know we technically already know about this from the 'mysterious confesson' merch we got, but this was still a very fun exercise to do. These are just my headcanons, and were made solely for fun, don't take my thoughts on this too seriously! :D

Yoosung

Would go with something classy and romantic, probably a bit of vintage, too. He wants your engagement ring to reflect his love for you, which may lead him to become antsy and indecisive when picking one. He doesn't want it to be too expensive, or too cheap. It has to be just right. Poor guy even sketches out a clumsy 'prototype' he shows to the employees, as it's hard to relay his vision across with just words. In the end, he ends up either getting either a classic diamond ring with an infinity band (he thinks it's sweet to include a small detail of your appreciation to each other lasting forever, however cheesy that may sound) or something a bit more vintage and intricate in style. I don't think he would have any preferences concerning the color of metal, so he might go with a mix of white and yellow metal.

Zen

Would definitely go over the top - the man's a true romantic, you can't tell me he hasn't dreamed of his wedding at least a couple of times! He appreciates everything you've done for him, and he wants this ring to show it. He wants this ring to be everything you've ever dreamed of and so much more. Might struggle with high expectations he sets up for himself, which results in him just stressing himself out instead of enjoying the process like he's supposed to. You might have to have a talk with him about that. As for the ring itself, I think he'll go with something pink and soft in color! There's just something that's is so sweet and light whenever he looks at rose gold engagement rings, it makes him instantly think about you. That's when he knows it's the one. After all, pink is the color of romance!

Jaehee

Would get something custom-made, but still pretty traditional. She wants something that would catch your attention, but won't be an inconvenience to wear. She wouldn't stress out too much, and you two would probably agree on a design together, instead of her surprising you with something. You are her partner, and she wants your rings to reflect that. A delicate and easy design is her go-to. But, if you want something eye-catching, that's okay too, as long as it's not a bother to wear. I think she would go with platinum options when it comes to color. It's simple but very pretty to look at. Kind of like you :) She would also like to add custom engravings to your rings. Something to look at and smile as she twirls the ring around her finger. Either a cheesy coordinated phrase (probably out of your favorite musical that you two always quote to each other), or a date of your cafe's opening, as it's the start of her new life that she has managed to achieve thanks to your support.

Jumin

Would get something fancy, but not over the top. He desires fir your ring to not be too simple, as you are worth more than that. Still, he focuses more on the spiritual meaning of the ring rather than its cost. Money's not an issue to him either way, and he knows that you don't care about how expensive this ring will be. Regardless, he wants only the best for you, as you rightfully deserve. Jumin would go for traditional classic designs, as he finds them the most flattering to look at. Might also like boho-styled engagement rings. When it comes to the process of picking one, he won't overthink it too much. He wants the ring to be perfect, no doubt, but he's pretty cool-headed with his search. Might ask Elizabeth to pick out the best design if he's conflicted. With her intricate collection of collars, he knows she has a good sense of elegance. Would probably go for yellow gold variety when it comes to color, as it's the most classy one in his eyes.

Saeyoung

Would go with something simplistic but unique. I am like 70% sure he would create your engagement rings and wedding bands by hand. It just sounds like something Saeyoung would do. Poor guy would probably be the most stressed of all the others. He wants it to be perfect so badly, but he's also indecisive as hell. See, he's mostly non-traditional when it comes to his tastes, but he also really likes the classic styles of rings, not to mention that the idea of a classic traditional wedding makes him feel all emotional on the inside. This issue would probably persist throughout your entire wedding planning, and not just the creation of your engagement rings: he just can't decide which side to take for the life of him. In the end, he'll probably find the middle ground thanks to your help and encouragement. He's gonna let out the biggest sigh of relief once those rings are finally done. And probably cry right after, as he has never thought he would hold anything as precious as an engagement ring meant for his soulmate in his own hands. Would go with white gold for color.

Jihyun

Would go for something custom-made and simple, but still a bit unique in its presentation. I don't think he has much preference when it comes to style, so he's fine with anything you pick. He doesn't want it to be too ostentatious or expensive, however. He strikes me as someone who prefers more modest designs, even if he'd like to sprinkle some custom design choices. It'll depend on your relationship with him, and what makes it unique for you. He wants your rings to reflect that, more than anything else. He wouldn't be anxious while working on the design itself, occasionally asking for your input, as he wants these rings to be the representation of your shared love, not just his own. He might go a bit overboard and come up with a borderline silly-looking design initially, so it'd be best for you to keep him from getting too creative. Can't fault the man for getting carried away. He would probably go for yellow metal, as it reminds him of the sun.

GE Saeran

Would go for something simple, romantic, and vintage-styled. Saeran doesn't know much about the intricacies that go into picking out an engagement ring, so I can imagine he'd get pretty overwhelmed the first time he tries to research the topic on his own. You'll probably end up picking it out together, patiently discussing important details between yourselves. He knows he doesn't want it to be too fancy or eye-catching, and he knows he wants the ring to remind him of your smile whenever he looks at it. His criteria is pretty easy but sweet nonetheless. It's less about the details and more about his inner feelings. He would probably go for a floral-themed ring if he comes across one that catches his eye, but it's not definitive. He would also go for a colored gemstone, mostly because he likes it better that way. He loves the color pink, as it reminds him of the feeling your gentle love, so he will have a preference for rose gold rings, not doubt.

SE Saeran

Would go for something both unique but elegant. Now, Saeran is definitely not picky when it comes to engagement rings. He kind of feels out of his depth here. Still, it is very important to ask for his input and offer for him to pick out some options he likes, even just on a whim. You two will take your time during this process, as there is no need to rush, and he will get overwhelmed from time to time. It's best to take it one small step at a time, not rushing into anything too quickly. He needs to be reminded that he has nothing to worry about, as all that truly matters is your bond with one another. Saeyoung will probably be the one to make your engagement rings for you, as well as your wedding bands. Partially to not stress Saeran too much with all the shopping, as jewelry stores tend to be too bright for the eyes. It'll be a pretty unique and somewhat edgy design but with a touch of soft colors in the mix. Kind of like him.

Rika

Is the type to go over the top but, in reality, she would like something classic and simple. When she's in a good place both physically and mentally, she's very doting, and she's also a hopeless romantic. I'd say she's almost on par with Zen when it comes to her romantic fantasies, which is why she loves his musicals as much as she does. It can be a good thing, but it also makes her prone to perfectionism. She will pick out a very fancy ring that she thinks is good enough for someone as wonderful as you, but... she feels dissatisfied with the result, and that makes her anxious. Rika is a people pleaser, so she tends to make choices with someone else in mind, rather than trusting her own heart. You guys will have to talk about it. It's hard to understand what you like when you've lived your whole life masking as someone you're not. In the end, I think she would go for something simple and elegant, probably also combine the colors she associates with your love. Keep her in check, though, as we all know Rika's design skills are out of this world.

Vanderwood

Weirdly enough? Despite their seemingly simplistic nature, I think they would go for something very unique and even a little odd-looking. Vanderwood is a pretty laid-back person, but all these casual vibes go out the window once it comes down to design. They are very picky with anything that they own in their closet, and engagement rings are on another level completely. They wear leopard print for a reason! I think they would end up getting something custom-made, as it's the easiest way not to stress out over the perfect design. They are not so much nervous as they are choosy. Still, they do have a major soft spot for you, so it's up to you to stir them in the right direction. They would like you to be very involved in the process of deciding on a perfect engagement ring. The end result will still be weird, though. But, the amount of weirdness will depend solely on you. Whether to embrace the weirdness, or to add just a touch of it - it is your choice to make.

the rfa at the eras tour

this is entirely self indulgent LMAO but here's how the characters would be @ the eras tour.

zen would love the concert. while he may not listen to all of her music, he very much enjoyed the entire set and especially loved how happy you were to be there. probably wouldn't join in on any of the chants or trade any bracelets, but instead looks at you with a smile every time you do. definitely takes a lot of pictures of you, and taylor, and then the both of you because your matching outfits are just the cutest. his favorite era would either be lover-- he can't help but look at you throughout the entirety of lover-- or 1989, because the visuals and the sound just completely enrapture him.

yoosung would just be happy to be there! knows her earlier stuff, but doesn't really know anything beyond 1989. goes feral over the fearless era, and screams almost as loud as you along to love story. if there's a proposal at your concert, you can bet he'd be crying while witnessing it-- and also a little jealous that he didn't think of the same idea. poor boy almost dies during vigilante shit-- his face is redder than a tomato and he chokes on his spit as he tries to look anywhere but the stage. you take many photos of this.

saeyoung is almost as excited as you are. he lives for anything that lets him dress up. he sat there making hundreds of friendship bracelets for you, spent hours shopping both online and in person for the perfect matching outfits, learned every chant and every song so he could fully enjoy the experience with you. and he did! however, any video anyone within five feet of him took would be unusable because he'd he screaming at the top of his lungs. holds you close during the lover and speak now era and definitely cries at one point during the show. fills up the entirety of his phone storage with only pictures and videos of you and him or just you.

jumin is. not having a good time. LMAO this man doesn't like huge crowds like that, and doesn't know most of the songs and craves the quiet comfort of his home. however, one look at you has him relaxing and a small, soft smile taking over his tense features. this was entirely for you, of course, and seeing you so happy and excited was enough to quiet any discomfort he might've felt. doesn't take any photos or videos, but he'll let you pull him down for selfies. the only video he has from that night is the one you sent to him of him kissing the crown of your head during lover.

jaehee is just excited to be there with you! she's a casual fan of taylor swift-- she doesn't really fangirl over anyone that's not zen-- so she probably won't know any of the chants, and definitely won't trade any bracelets, but she'll happily dress up with you. sings along under her breath to the songs that she knows, and just nods along to the ones that she doesn't. really likes the midnights era- and especially vigilante shit. blushes whenever you hold her hand or kiss her cheek or sing to her during the love songs. she takes one or two photos.

saeran absolutely refuses to go with you at first. attending a three and a half hour concert with thousands of people attending sounds like his own personal hell, but when you go to ask saeyoung to accompany you, saeran finally relents. "fine!" he'll grumble, "no need to ask my idiot brother. i'll go with you." you...hadn't suggested that to make him change his mind, but. a win is a win! he doesn't do any of the chants or any of the bracelets, and doesn't dress up. (or, at least, he doesn't wear anything he wouldn't usually wear, but. it's looks pretty reputation era, so you're happy.) despite his grumbling and his anxiety, saeran really did love seeing you so happy and carefree. is surprised by how much he enjoyed the reputation era, and ignores your smug look as he adds the songs to his playlist later on. refuses to take any pictures or videos, and will only be in a few for you.

Quality time: Although he does have a lot to do at work, he’s very efficient with his time and usually doesn’t have much to do with documents once he leaves the company building. He’ll spend the rest of his evening with you, and he usually likes to just relax and enjoy the calm between the two of you, but if you have any particular activities in mind he’s willing to do whatever you’d like. For example, an evening picnic in a field and then staying out until it’s dark to do some stargazing, even if he does end up sacrificing an hour or two or sleep, it’s all worth it to him. He’d also take you on business trips to other countries or cities with nice views so you could enjoy the scenery alongside him.

Gifts: He definitely has the means to spoil you, but he always makes sure to take into account what you like. He has a very proper and formal image, but if you’re more into casual and comfortable clothes, he’ll buy those for you instead. He’ll also ask for your thoughts on decorating the house you both live in, so that it suits both your tastes and so that you can both enjoy the place Even with his status having a big effect on the company, he still prioritizes your comfort and happiness above all, so as long as you’re happy, he is too.

For example, I think he’d buy you some cute little hair accessories or small colourful bracelets on your first date. Or if you were to mention that there’s a book series you’re particularly into and aren’t able to find a copy of the next one, he’d do everything he can to get it for you so you can continue to enjoy your hobby without frustration.

Physical touch: Despite his ability to talk smoothly and charm people with words, Zen enjoys the simplicity in giving physical affection, and letting his actions do the talking. He’s particularly fond of holding you in his lap and resting his head in the gap between your neck and shoulder and just enjoying the silence that way, though he also really enjoys when you start talking about whatever is on your mind while absentmindedly carding your fingers through his hair. He also enjoys cuddling after going through both of your skincare routines at night, with him sitting up against the headboard and your back leaning against his chest.

Acts of service: Because of how busy he is with work, he doesn’t do a great job of taking care of himself. Doing little things like buying extra groceries to fill his practically empty fridge really brightens his mood. She’ll also make you breakfast in bed if you’re not feeling well, something warm and healthy to help you recover quickly. Despite how willing she is to do all this for you, however, it’s important to make sure she doesn’t overwork herself at home like she is at work.

Physical touch: She likes more subtle ways of showing you her affection in public, like linking arms or pinkies while you’re both out, or adjusting your clothes (like scarves or shirts). Jaehee enjoys being able to be affectionate with you while still being modest in public, so she never goes overboard, like giving mouth kisses where people can see you. Though in the case of you two opening a café together, she becomes more relaxed with it (though still not too much), like giving forehead kisses in the café, but only when there aren’t too many people inside. However, she appreciates it even more if you go out of your way to clear your schedule so that your free time aligns and you don’t have to stress about school or work while you’re meant to be relaxing with her. If it’s in the route where you open a coffee shop together after she leaves the company, she loves the time you two spend preparing everything for when it opens, and cleaning up afterwards when it’s done. Her aura is much livelier because she gets to do what she loves without stressing constantly, and she gets to do it with the person she loves most.

Quality time: He enjoys spending time with you both in and out of his apartment. When you’re inside, he likes playing video games together, baking or cooking. Words of affirmation: With how immature he tends to act in the chat rooms, Yoosung is much more troubled than he lets the rest of the RFA know. The others tend to either minimize his anger and frustration or simply tell him to calm down, which does absolutely nothing for him but make him feel worse. Your presence and comfort are a breath of fresh air for him, and he really wants someone to help him feel that his emotions are valid. Reassuring him that he’s not wrong for wanting to know more about what happened to his cousin, and that getting upset when things are hidden from him is completely reasonable, and already helps Yoosung feel a lot better.

Physical touch: Yoosung is very touchy once he gets comfortable in the relationship, though he tries to hold back in case he comes across as being too clingy. He’s very proud to be in a relationship with you, so he loves holding hands while you’re out so that people know you two are together. He also loves when you touch his hair, as it really helps him relax. Sometimes he’ll ask you to help him dye his roots once his natural colour starts to show again, or for you to help him adjust his hair clips even though he could do it himself, he likes the proximity, even if it doesn’t last for very long.

707/Saeyoung:

Gifts: He definitely has enough money to buy you fancy gifts and spoil you, and though he does occasionally, he much prefers to give you things he made himself. It comes rather easily to him, and he usually makes very intricate things even if he claims to have just done it during a short break from work, you really appreciate the thought and effort behind it. Just like the robot cat he made while at the apartment with you, he’ll often make things related to cats or other cute animals.

Receiving:

Physical touch: Considering his job and his abusive childhood along with the amount of time he’s spent alone working for the agency, he hasn’t really gotten much gentle physical touch for most of his life. You’d likely have to take it a bit slow at first, but he quickly gets used to it. Seven really likes full hugs that last for a long time (and he’ll often joke about just never letting you go) and when you give him forehead kisses while laying down together.

Saeran:

Acts of service: As shown while staying at the Mint Eye location, Saeran really enjoys doing things for you, like cooking your meals according to what you’ve told him you like. He often feels like he doesn’t do enough for you or that he’s being useless, so his way of compensating for his thoughts is to do what he can to make sure you’re comfortable in your daily life. If he notices you seem tired, he’ll offer to run you a bath or take over doing the dishes that night. While it is very sweet of him, it’s important to make sure he knows he’s very important to you regardless of how useless he may think he is.

Receiving:

Physical touch: Though he struggles to initiate physical contact on his own, he really appreciates and enjoys when you do it, and while he may be a bit apprehensive at first out of fear of bothering you at first, he quickly relaxes when you hold him. He really likes spooning (him being the little spoon most of the time) and resting his head on your lap while sitting on the couch as you play with his hair.

Words of affirmation: Considering Rika’s “tactic” of making those at Mint Eye feel a sense of comfort and then suddenly causing them fear, he has a lot of issues with becoming fully relaxed and not constantly keeping his guard up, though he is working on it little by little. Consistency with your words in key, because he might deny your compliments and praise of his skills and sweet personality sometimes due to his self doubt. But being persistent with it will help over time and he’ll start to believe your words more and help his self esteem a lot in the long run.
