Ok let’s start here I guess? More of a novelty procurement than anything else.
“The Lesser Key of Solomon” by S.L. MacGregor Mathers & Aleister Crowley
I don’t subscribe to western religion or Christianity. I’ve found bits and pieces of things that make sense to me from various classes of religious thought and yet none as a whole make sense to me. So why not dive into some hermetic texts too?

Hi all,
Welcome to the last part of my 2024 altar tour! 4/4
What a year it has been! I have learned so much and made so many new friends! My altar has always been a reflection of my psyche, seeing it’s beauty reminds me of the beauty that exists within me. :)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
So this is my final little work space where I do pendulum magick and tarot readings. There is a devotional mug to Lord Lucifer which I use for our morning coffee chats. There is also Lucifer’s devotional dragon statue, as well as the dual scrying mirror for him and Faviel.
There is a normal mirror and a statue of a pharaoh’s tomb. The board which the flowers and offerings are placed on dawns Faviel’s sigil and candle. To Faviel I have offered a palm stone, flowers, an acorn, smoky quartz, some black earrings, and some grubs.
Beside him is my pendulum in a selenite charging bowl along with my pendulum mat.
The black and white image you see was a piece of art I made for Archangel Jophiel after he gifted me a vision a year or so ago. I use it whenever I’m reaching out to him.
Tumblr media
Beneath my altar is some space for storage where I keep my larger cauldron, mortar and pestle, larger candles, etc. There is also my stand where I keep my broom, fire poker, and shovel. My witch broom is wrapped in a protective seal. I use it to sweep ash from my prayer mat.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
And finally, here are a few of the books I have in my collection that have greatly greatly aided me in my craft. Remember to do your research my dears!
The Arbatel of Magick- First English edition 1633, new edition 2013, edited by Earl Marwick
Healing with Form, Energy, and Light- Tenzin Wangyal Rinpoche
Gods and Goddesses- Hallam, Elizabeth
The Lesser Key of Solomon- S.L MacGregor Mathers and Aleister Crowley
The Dictionary of Alchemy- Diana Fernando
The Art of Angels- Howard Loxton
Backland’s Book of Spirit Communications- Raymond Buckland
Transcendental Magick- Éliphas Lévi
The Greater Key of Solomon- S.L MacGregor Mathers
A History of God- Karen Armstrong
A Dictionary of Angels, Including Fallen Angels- Gustav Davidson
Making Talismans- Nick Farrell
The Sixth and Seventh Books of Moses- Johann Scheibel
The Egyptian Book of the Dead
The Rise and Fall of the Nephilim- Scott Alan Roberts

Three Books of Occult Philosophy- Henry Cornelius Agrippa
and of course, The Holy Bible- New Living Translation.
I have many other books in my collection on tarot and astrology in my living room, but these are the books that have had the greatest impact on my craft. Here are a few of those other ones:
Tumblr media
Love Potions- Tatania Hardie
The Book of Destinies- Jane Struthers
The Crystal Bible 2- Judy Hall
The Tarot Bible- Sarah Barlett
The Wicca Bible- Ann Marie Gallagher
Cunningham’s Encyclopedia of Magical Herbs- Scott Cunningham
Magic and Medicine of Plants- Reader’s Digest
The Power of Birthdays Stars and Numbers- Saffi Crawford and Geraldine Sullivan
The Witches’ Goddess- Janet and Stewart Farrar
The Witches’ God- Janet and Stewart Farrar
•••
I wanted to end this tour off with my reading material because I want to emphasize how important it is to understand that “magick” is not just “stuff”.
I really enjoy all of my magical tools and there’s absolutely nothing wrong with having and wanting pretty things or an aesthetically pleasing altar. In fact I believe aesthetic and care are acts of love in themselves. Don’t ever let someone shame you for wanting to decorate and indulge in the aesthetics of your craft.
But please do remember that our greatest magical tool is our minds, our senses, and our experiences- our brains. Remember to read read read lots of material from many different sources. Contemplate honestly on everything you read, hear and experience. Do not take everything you believe today as a fact, do not box yourself in to anything. (Maybe that’s the Luciferian in me speaking lol)
Learn how to do magick alone, without any tools. My magick is not my stuff, although my stuff greatly aids me in my magick. Does that make sense?
Thank you so much for reading! I look forward to growing and learning so much more this year! :)
Blessed be!

⭒✮⭒
Naberius; Valiant Marquis of Hell
some basic information.
⭒✮⭒
Who is He? ⇲
Also named Cerberus, Naberius is a fallen angel and the 24th of 72 spirits of solomon. He appears as a crow, a black crane, or a three headed dog much like his greek counterpart. Naberius is described as having a hoarse voice. He teaches about arts and sciences, skills like rhetoric, and helps to restore honor and dignity. Marquis Naberius was first mentioned by Johann Weyer in 1583. In that text, he presents himself as eloquent and amiable. It is unclear if he has a direct association with the greek Cerberus, however, Weyer considered them the same demon.
Excerpt from “The Goetia: The Lesser Key of Solomon the King” (1904) ⇲
“NABERIUS. – The Twenty-fourth Spirit is Naberius. He is a most valiant Marquis, and showeth in the form of a Black Crane, fluttering about the Circle, and when he speaketh it is with a hoarse voice. He maketh men cunning in all Arts and Sciences, but especially in the Art of Rhetoric.
He restoreth lost Dignities and Honours. He governeth 19 Legions of Spirits. His Seal is this, which is to be worn, etc.”
-S.L. MacGregor Mathers
Experiences ⇲
From my own research, Naberius is described as a wonderful teacher who will teach rhetoric, scrying, and other skills useful to one’s practice.
He can help you restore tarnished reputations, and, as a psychopomp, is a wonderful infernal to work with when practicing death Magick.
In the same way, he can help improve your skills in divination thanks to his teachings in communication. He is useful among artists for helping spark creativity and enthusiasm about a project.

summoning The Forces Of Darkness In This Economy mmmmm ... maybe
As many of you know while i am a Shitposting Wizard Account I am Also an Occultist and Practicing Mage in My Day To Day Life , and i personally believe that any serious practitioner whether starting out or not should have a copy of the key of Solomon on hand.
while the spells may seem dated, the sigils used as summoning for the Great 72 have been used for generations now and hold great power. Take the time out of your day and go through the book once or twice, absorb the information and if anything you will have gained some insight into the practitioners of the past.
And its always good to learn ceremonial magick even when it can be tedious
You could purchase on here or if you want they have many awesome PDF copies online for free if you search.
If you do end up buying from this link i get some pennies to put towards some mac n cheese

Random Card Draw: Goetia: Tarot in Darkness By Fabio Listrani
31 – Foras – Page of Swords Meaning: Intellectual Learning. Nature: Unpractical Knowledge. Planet: Mercury. Zodiac: Virgo.
According to The Goetia (S.L. MacGregor Mathers) “The Thirty-first Spirit is Foras. He is a Mighty President, and appeareth in the Form of a Strong Man in Human Shape. He can give the understanding to Men how they may know the Virtues of all Herbs and Precious Stones. He teacheth the Arts of Logic and Ethics in all their parts. If desired he maketh men invisible, and to live long, and to be eloquent. He can discover Treasures and recover things Lost. He ruleth over 29 Legions of Spirits.”
The artwork for this deck is amazing – highly detailed black and white illustrations, with perhaps a hint of light tan. 31/Foras shows a muscular demon with huge horns that are wrapped with winged serpents, a reference to the god Mercury’s winged staff. He sits at a round table that appears to be a tree trunk, writing on a scroll. He seems to be deep in thought.
Foras looks to me like he’s writing out some of the knowledge which he can pass on, like a teacher writing out lesson plans. Herbs and precious stones, logic and ethics, and even more – no wonder this card is associated with Mercury, which is associated with knowledge and communication, as well as with Virgo, which is said to be a ‘sign of the mind,’ practical and thoughtful.
What this card says to me is, never stop learning, studying, seeking knowledge. That’s definitely a way to become eloquent and discover treasures – not necessarily material treasures, but treasures of the mind, the answers to whatever questions we may have, not just about herbs and precious stones but about any subject. Although Foras is a demon, his expression here doesn’t look evil; he looks as if he’s waiting for the observer to sit down at the table and receive the lessons he’s writing down.
If you have an interest in demonology or just like darker-themed decks, this one is not to be missed; it’s worth it for the artwork alone. You could spend quite a lot of time examining these cards closely, looking for symbolism in the images. Foras would probably encourage that.

The Heptagram of the Seven DaysThe Heptagram of the Seven days is a particularly interesting way to view the order of the celestial bodies. If reading clockwise from the top-most symbol, it is the order of the planets from the Geo-centric Qabalistic model: Saturn, Jupiter, Mars, Sol, Venus, Mercury, Luna. If read following the lines of the Heptagram, one gets the days of the week: Saturday (Saturn’s Day), Sunday (Sun’s Day), Monday (Moon’s Day), Tuesday (Tiw’s Day, Norse War God), Wednesday (Wodin’s Day), Thursday (Thor’s Day), Friday (Frigga’s Day, Norse Love God.) Crowley attributes this realization to Frater Deo Duce Comite Ferro, S.L. MacGregor Mathers. This is one of two different kinds of Heptagrams. This version is known as 7/3 Heptagram, as each line connects the planet that is three planets away. The other version of the Heptagram is called a 7/2 Heptagram, and is used for the Seal of A∴A∴. (54.) MURMUR, or MURMUS.-- The Fifty-fourth Spirit is called Murmur, or Murmus, or Murmux. He is a Great Duke, and an Earl; and appeareth in the Form of a Warrior riding upon a Gryphon, with a Ducal Crown upon his Head. There do go before him those his Ministers with great Trumpets sounding. His Office is to teach Philosophy perfectly, and to constrain Souls Deceased to come before the Exorcist to answer those questions which he may wish to put to them, if desired. He was partly of the Order of Thrones, and partly of that of Angels. He now ruleth 30 Legions of Spirits.
