some time ago i posted about wanting to make a list of spamano fic recommendations and quite a few people seemed interested, so here it is! these are some fics that i personally really liked, i also added a brief comment for every fic as well as eventual warnings. enjoy and support the authors!

Morning Glory by AroAceMess

Fanfiction means a lot to me.because that´s how I learned to speak English fluently, which is why I´ve been wanting to do this for a long time but I thought that no one would be interested in this. I realized that even if just one person discovers a fic they like because of me then that´s good enough. So, here it is: a shit ton of spamano.

Antonio and Lovino live in the same neighbourhood but don't know each other personally. Lovino sees Antonio jogging every day and quite enjoys his tan and shirtlessness. Lovi tries to get Toni to notice him by conveniently gardening or getting the mail or w/e at the same time that the other jogs, but they end up meeting by something unplanned, awkward, and cute.

The next day, they run into each other again - quite literally - and to apologize for being drunk and staring that night, Antonio offers to buy Lovino lunch and a sweet. Lovino begrudgingly agrees and thus, romance sparks. The problem? Antonio's only in Naples for a week.

I ABSOLUTELY ADORE THIS FANFIC! I actually started learning Italian because of this. It’s really beautiful, extremely sad. Also- I‘m sorry to my friends that were annoyed by me talking about this fic.

I just love this story so much, it‘s incredibly cute and funny (like really really really funny) and made me fall in love with every hetalia character mentioned. Also, this has like 80 long chapters so get ready for a long term relationship with this fanfic.

Living in his home town of Pitigliano for so long, he could not imagine leaving it. The sudden death of his father on the front lines came as a shock to the Vargas', Romano and Feliciano having no choice but to move to the coastal town of Bari, Italy, where their last immediate family lived.

Request: “How would Axis (including Romano which I think you do already) go about cheating on their partner? Why would they do it, would they deny it, all those details? I want you to hurt me please”

Rating: ANGST, slight smut

A/N: this is kind of an AU bc I don’t think the canon characters would really cheat if the relationship was healthy

Germany: Ludwig would cheat on you as result of a chain of several events. You had to go out of town for a month due to reasons beyond your control and left Ludwig home alone in the empty house. The first week and a half was okay, but after that the emptiness started getting to him so he figured he’d start briefly stopping at the bar on his way back from work. At the bar he found someone in a similar situation, lonely that is. Looking back on it, he didn’t know much about them and he still doesn’t. Truth be told he’s not even sure if either of them disclosed relationship statuses before getting intimate. Maybe if he told them he was in a relationship it wouldn’t have escalated... But then again there was nothing stopping Ludwig from telling them. After the deed was done he became extremely guilty, knowing he wasn’t worthy of your trust after this. He easily could have hid the short lived affair but he knew he wouldn’t be able to live with himself if he didn’t. So, after you returned home he confessed, albeit through tears and a mental breakdown.

Japan: Kiku had always been secretive and private but you assumed after being together for years you were the only one to be close to those secrets and private part of his life. How wrong you were though. It started at his office’s Christmas party where you saw one of his coworkers getting just a little too friendly. Of course when you brought this up he brushed it off as you reading too far into it. You let it go then but later his work hours started getting longer and longer. You thought it admirable that he so diligently volunteered for the overtime, and your shared bank account wasn’t complaining either. One night you thought you’d reward him for all the extra work and decided to pick up dinner after you finish your own work day and bring it to his office. Nothing could have prepared you for the sight you came across when you entered his office. Even still to the day you left him, Kiku insisted the sight you saw wasn’t what it looked like. But if that was true then it meant every health class you took or smut related work you read had lied massively.

Italy: Feliciano naturally attracted attention and friends with his charming attitude and optimistic outlook on life. Plenty of times you’ve witnessed first hand how he deflected more-than-friends relationships, definitely boosting his trust level in your mind. Part of you blames that as the reason you didn’t start seeing the signs of him cheating sooner. He started getting irritated when you wouldn’t text him if you were on your way home before you started driving, to which you just assumed he was worried for your safety. But then he started making up reasons, almost excuses, for you to leave the house. And he changed his work schedule from days (when you also worked) to nights. All of it was mildly suspicious but the kicker wouldn’t come for a couple more months. That was when you noticed the box of condoms you bought recently was almost gone and you undoubtedly found underwear that weren’t yours. Feliciano denied everything, making up excuses for the condoms and the underwear, which you halfheartedly accepted. But he couldn’t deny anything when you came home early from work one night and found not one but several people in your home performing unholy acts, one of them being your boyfriend.

Romano: Lovino had always been a flirting man, never knowing when to stop and that’s the excuse you told yourself for most of your relationship with him. “He’s just being extra friendly, that’s it.” “He just doesn’t know when to stop, that’s all.” “Lovi has just always been this way.” The most common phrases you recited to yourself, especially when you were in the middle of witnessing him getting familiar with someone. But up until a certain point that’s truly all it had been - ‘harmless’ flirting, a bit of schmoozing, a dash of physical touch. Until one day, you were playing games on his phone while he was in the shower when he received a text message, ‘Yesterday was amazing 😍 when can we do it again?🍆🤤’. The suggestive text prompted you to take a gander through his messages and you were appalled by what you found. Several obvious affairs were right in front of you. The cashier from a week ago, the waiter from a month ago, the dentist’s secretary, the dentist themself, tons of nudes exchanged back and forth, just to name a few offenses. Outraged you confronted Lovi while he was still in the shower where he cheekily admitted to “all that and more”. His reason was half-assed about boredom or something or other.

Rating: Smut/Lemon

America: Alfred takes his shirt back from you after he gets cocky and while smirking he starts feeling you up. “This view looks much better” He gets frisky with you and if you’re lucky the least he does is makeout with you there in the kitchen.

Germany: Ludwig is blushing hard and if you don’t catch him he’s going to go take a nice cold shower. If you do catch him he’s going to shift there awkward before complimenting how good his shirt looks on you. If he stands there and watches you long enough he’ll snap and get possessive over the sight of you in his shirt. He’ll kiss up your neck and take you there.

Romano: Lovino is already kissing up your neck with his arms around your waist. And hopefully you don’t have anything on underneath because as soon as he knows you’re ready for him he’ll be pushing inside of you and fucking you in the kitchen.

Spain: Antonio kisses your shoulder and neck, he reaches around you to turn the stove off. With an air of cockiness he coaxes you back to bed to have some fun and then take a siesta~. Then maybe breakfast.

Prussia: Gilbert is all about you wearing his shirts. He loves the sight and would give his left arm to see that every morning. He teases you about how good you look. Then he promptly sets you on the counter and devours his “breakfast”.

Austria: Roderich sees you there and snaps. The sight is driving him wild and he pins you to the counter, asking why you’re trying to drive him crazy like that. It leads to a hot and heavy make out session and if you’re up for it he’d fuck you on the kitchen table.

Russia: Ivan is so in love with the sight of you it makes his heart swoon. It makes him feel so fuzzy inside but when he smells you on his shirt when he buries his nose into your back…it gets him going. He loves how you smell and knowing that he’ll be wearing something that smells like you. He can and will pick you up there and slide you onto his dick because the only thing better than your scent is your sex scent. And he will wear that scent happily when he puts the shirt on later.
