how do people come up with titles?
why can't we just number fics like classical composers did with their stuff?
"tentacle porn No. 8 in [fandom], [pairing], op. 57"
that would solve so many problems

I got an email reminding me of this old prompt generator i made for drabble events in the discord I was running back in the day, it only works on desktop and there are different versions linked in the bottom texts, if anyone is interested. Please note there are N/SF/W themes in the prompts.

29. does your region/city have a beef with another place in your country?
Agdkf yes, like every single region here has beef with another (after our republic was founded we had a federalist period and that only managed to make the cultural differences stand out) but every one of them can join against the capital for several reasons (historical power center where the capital makes decisions for everyone, snobbish capital city that thinks it's better than everyone else, political center of the country, things like that)
If you've seen Encanto, it's something like, every character there represents a region (and ofc there's some missing) and the capital is Mirabel's dad and he's funnily unlucky because really, every sort of stupid silly stuff happens to us (folks in the capital) when we go to another region.
30. do you have people of different nationalities in your family?
No, everyone in my family is Colombian, or perhaps yes if you count the husband of a distant cousin that is from the US.
Colombia is a country that didn't receive the same amount of foreigners in the 1930 - 1950s like Brazil or Argentina did, because our immigration laws were wacky and also we had several civil conflicts going on. Nowadays there's a lot of venezuelans here and an increasing number of Americans but in my family just one xd.

4. favourite dish specific for your country?
Ahhh I love food this is a very hard question, there's a lot of tasty and delicious dishes (even more than the one I'm picking) but as the capital city girl I am, Ajiaco is my fav dish, it's basically a soup, made with chicken breast, corn, Guasca (a plant) and two different kinds of potatoes. It's perfect for the cold weather and we eat it with a bit of sour cream.
10. most enjoyable swear word in your native language?
My ex catholic ass doesn't swear much, but I guess our use of "gonorrea" is just iconic, like of course it's a strong swear word, very mean and impolite, but it's literally an STD turned swear word, you use it to call someone or a situation very very displeasing.
16. which stereotype about your country you hate the most and which one you somewhat agree with?
Well anything that has to do with narcos, cocaine or Pablo Escobar is very displeasing to me because up to this day, the country suffers a great deal from the consequences of Escobar's actions and well cartels and the drug business are still very much present here.
For a stereotype that is kinda accurate is that Colombians are usually late, not sure of how known this is but I've heard it among here, and like, yes, you can pick an hour and people will get there five, ten, even thirty minutes late and this also applies to deadlines. There's like a span of 15 - 30 minutes in most events before starting so that people can get on time because of it. There's a saying for that and all, like "cómo todo buen colombiano, dejo x cosa para última hora" (as any good Colombian, you left x thing until the last moment) which is basically a reproach about how most works that have deadlines end up rushed because we "forget" or simply not manage time too well.

5. favourite song in your native language?
My favorite song in Spanish is Ojos color sol by Calle 13 feat Silvio Rodriguez
But a song from Colombia that is my favorite is La casa en el aire by Rafael Escalona
9. which of your neighbouring countries would you like to visit most/know best?
Perú! There's a few Peruvian restaurants here and my goooood the food is delicious! Plus I'd like to see Machu Picchu
15. a saying, joke, or hermetic meme that only people from your country will get?
I think each country must have like a lot of those, one that comes to my mind now is the "Quien pidió pollo?" (The literal translation is Who asked for chicken?) Which is something we say as a compliment, like you see some is looking handsome and you ask them that to tell them they're looking fine xd
And for the hilarity of the direct translation, asgsjd there's this expression "mamar gallo" (to suck rooster/cock) which means to joke around, to pull someone's leg.
