Happy Rite to Belial and Yule!✨ How is everyone doing? So far, my winter solstice and the beginning of my winter season is going well!🖤
I celebrated the actual solstice day with my partner. He took me out for sushi, then we enjoyed each other’s company for the rest of the evening. I had so much fun with him, just as I usually do.💖 I feel like having fun with loved ones is always a meaningful way to celebrate any special day.🌈
Another cool thing: I bought my long distance partner a Super Mario mug. I was afraid it wasn’t going to arrive before the new year, but instead, it arrived ON YULE.🤩 Score!⭐️ Plus, he loved it!❤️
I just did an “actual” Rite to Belial while listening to Belial, the Black Metal band from Finland. I am sitting here topless, still partaking in libations as we speak, but my Black Metal Belial playlist is now playing Lord Belial. Fun fact about me: I love making Demon-themed playlists and playing them during rituals.😈
I’ll eventually get around to uploading the videos and other pictures I took. In the meantime, I am enjoying the Rite to Belial and the infernal Yuletide spirit. I am happy and content with my life in this moment. I wish all of you a happy Rite to Belial, a most infernal Yule, and a positive new winter season as well a splendid new year.🕯️❤️💚❤️🔥🎄☃️

on that note lol, the egyptian myth being referenced here is ‘the weighing of the heart’— particularly the version from the papyrus of hunefer— that depicts the god anubis weighing the heart of the deceased against the feather of the goddess of truth, ma’at. if the heart (aka soul) was found heavier than the feather, then the devourer of the dead, ammit, would eat the soul

DRUSILLA KARNSTEIN by xphaiea
Wild with bloodlust, Miss Karnstein terrorises the local villages under cover of darkness. Resplendent in her disintegrating finery - and her distinct red riding hood, she rises nightly from the mildewed recesses of her majesterial family vault, mounts her deranged werewolf steed Belial by light of the haunted moon and the carnage begins.
Rumour has it that she was turned by her own grandmother - a veritable crone, harridan and vampiric witch - who dwelling in the nearby woodlands, sank her teeth into Drusilla out of spite after she interrupted a clandestine necromantic rite bringing Grandmother some handbaked gingersnap biscuits.
Her feral madness and blind fury knows no bounds! Entire villages have fallen prey to her sanguinary lusts, and that of her steed - who gorges himself on the intestinal tracts and bloody innards of their victims in a carnivorous feeding frenzy!

The Pact Of Satan
Membership with most elite organizations or private societies usually require an initiation rite and/or formal membership document which is signed by the initiate. This tends to be true (though in varying forms) also with regard to Satanic organizations and “realms”.
Historically speaking, Black Arts practitioners seeking Satanic alliance would call up a demon, or Satan Himself, to make a Pact in exchange for power of various sorts instead of joining a “Satanic group”. Moreover, hundreds of years ago, such groups weren’t “open” or well-known, now were “Devil’s books” readily available to the general public through “retailers”, as any kind of “Satanic” worship was considered a crime punishable by death. Thank the Devil and Enlightenment for our freedom from some of “God’s” religio/social injustices; anyone can now enter into union with the Devil without being “completely” criminalized!
The Pact of Satan is synonymous with the Xian rites of baptism as a purification device, whereas the Xian baptism is performed to symbolically cleanse the initiate of “original sin”, the Pact of Satan represents the initiate’s willful rejection of the belief in the existence of deities, and a rejection of the widespread Xian doctrines of deceit.
Ultimately the pact serves as a greeting and acceptance into Satan’s world of Darkness.
Special note regarding solitary Satanists: making a pact with Satan is not necessary to
successfully practice the Black Arts. The Pact of Satan ritual is geared to individuals who prefer to further formalize their dedication in a group setting.
Requirements for performance The standard altar articles are employed in the customary manner in addition to the initiate’s Pact articles (which sit upon a small table to the immediate right of the altar) which consists of: one Satanagram pendant, a black robe, two Pact of Satan contracts (one for the initiate and one for the priest who represents the Devil’s emissary) and a pre-arranged Satanic (magickal) name chose by the initiate.
Attendance requirements: the priest performing the rite, an assistant and the initiate. The priest and his assistant are garbed in the customary manner. The initiate wears a silver (gray is acceptable) robe.

The Ritual Of Antichrist
THE SIGIL OF ANTICHRIST
If you truly have a Darkness to your soul then this ritual will be both inspiring and self-fulfilling. However, by the same token, if you’re attempting to become something you’re not, it can bring forth a demon of self-destruction. Therefore, know thyself!
The Main Focus of this Ritual
1 To purge any residual Xian influence from the essence of the celebrant’s Being.
2 To cause the essential Darkness of the celebrant to grow, thus expanding the Sixth Sense.
3 To strengthen the Will to oppose the Xian doctrines.
The ritual represents the Forces of Darkness and their emergence in the Age of Evil. During the ritual, both elements of Good and Evil are present. Evil is the most active force (excepting Nature) in existence on this planet. It is a force far superior and dominant in its nature than is goodness. This should be obvious to anyone who is aware of Man’s history and today’s socioreligious climate. Xianity always has been, and always will be, a static (and I hate to use the word) force. Just as Man is naturally endowed with Earthly instincts and desires so it is with Man’s natural predilection to evil (immorality). People as a whole, and as individuals, need to stop cheating themselves and learn to live not in the imaginary shadow of a non-existent god.
There is no time for guilt regarding sin; there is no time for paying the church for regular guilt inducement; there is no time for soiling one’s knees for the sake of appeasing an imaginary, antithetical god! There is no time for acknowledging a god who has never lived, but certainly has died!
My fellow Satanists, the Age of Evil has arrived. Our Age—for times and times eternally. Read and understand! Practice and BECOME!

Requirements for performance
With the exception of the burning charcoal contained in the brazier, the Ritual of Antichrist
begins in complete darkness, which symbolizes the arrival of the Age of Evil. The Age when the Wicked will plunge Man and the Earth into Eternal Darkness!
The Sigil of Antichrist represents the warrior spirit of the Beast 666. The cross, of course, is
associated with the Nazarene and his teachings; the inversion of such is the symbolic
renunciation and antithesis of his religious philosophy. The lightning bolt represents the Will and Power and the cruel wrath of Antichrist. The 666 is of course, the accepted numerical symbol of Antichrist.
Ultimately, the Sigil of Antichrist is the symbol of religious revelation and anarchy—of things to come! The sigil replaces the Satanagram as the altarpiece above the altar.
Six black candles are employed as this symbolizes the singular aspect of the number of the Beast and the Sixth Sense of all antichrists. Regarding placement, five of the six candles rest upon the points of the Angles of the Pentagonia on the floor before the altar. A single black candle endowed with the Spirit of Antichrist rests in the center of the altar, directly beneath the Sigil. Ignited charcoal in a large brazier represents Hell’s flaming Pit—from which the Grand Conjuration and subsequent release of the Devils of Evilution symbolize the forces of the developing religious war between Xians and us. The brazier is placed at the left side of the altar.
The function of the Xian Bible in this ritual is two-fold: first, it is employed as a sacrifice; the celebrant tears seven leaves from its binding and casts them into the Pit to suffer destruction and damnation. The second part involves the recital of its Antichrist disclosure: Revelation 13.
The Bible is placed in front of the brazier.
Conjuration saltes are more commonly known as “flash powder”. They are employed to
emphasize evocation. A small vessel of the saltes is placed next to the brazier.
The skull is placed on the altar between the Candle of Antichrist and the Sword of Satan. The thurible burns an Earthy scent which is most pleasing to the celebrant: it is placed at the rightrear area of the altar. The Chalice of Change with its emotion-stimulating elixor is placed directly in front of the thurible. The Sword of Satan occupies its customary position, which is at the forepart of the altar.
The essence of this ritual dictates that its accompanying music would be of a supremely
triumphant nature.

1 In the darkness, the celebrant faces the Sigil of Antichrist as he recites the Invocation of
Antichrist:

2 The celebrant stoops to light each candle of the Pentagonia. After lighting the first, he

conjuration saltes into the candle flames.
3 The celebrant (and all participants) drink from the Chalice of Change.
4 The celebrant grasps the Sword of Satan and points it towards the Sigil of Antichrist
while reciting the Conjuration of Darkness—666:
SATAN—IN YOUR MOST UNHOLY NAME, HEAR ME! OUR TIMES—THE AGE OF

Devils of Evilution thus:

CARNALITY!
FENRIS, COME FORTH AND FREE THE BEAST TO WAGE THE WAR!

Would you be willing to explain (if briefly) the rites of Lucifer and where to find clearer information on it? Thank you so much!
so there is a book called the Rites of Lucifer written by Asenath Mason which outlines rituals defined by the Temple of the Ascending Flame. These cults are often seeking the psychological benefits of patronage through a more atheistic and metaphorical standpoint. Their work is relevant to draconian magic.
A Rite is essentially a holy celebration or sacred ceremony.
In demonolatry, each d(a)emon has their own holy day. These days are outlined within the text “The Complete Book of Demonolatry” by S. Connolly.
So within larger Luciferianism we celebrate March 21st, the equinox, as a holy day of Lucifer because it represents the return of light through the dark winter.
There are other days for other demons:
You will likely be able to find rites for most of the goetic and major demons. Asenath Mason also wrote “The Rites of Lilith” and I was easily able to find the “The Blood Rites of Belial” by Nergal Carl.
Unless you are personally working with them you are under no obligation to celebrate the holy days of every demon, though you are always free to show them honour if you want to.

Happy Rite to Belial and Yule!💚❤️🎄 I did a ritual for prosperity and protection with Belial.🕯️ I honored him as the Elemental Demon of Earth, a High King of Hell, and the Infernal One without a master.🏔️🔥 I also asked him to bless me throughout the Yuletide season and the upcoming new year of 2023. I gave him offerings, including cookies and a libation.🍪🥛 Santa will be so jelly!🎅😈😜 Plus, I made sure to honor and pray to Krampus as well.🐐
While I did the ritual, I listened to Belial, a black metal band from Finland.🖤 I have been listening to Black Metal more, especially since I appreciate how the music relates to demons. I’m hoping Belial appreciates it as much as I appreciate connecting with him and other demons through Black Metal.🤘

It's almost the 31st of October, which means it's almost time for the annual rite to Baalberith & Eurynomous*! Like other holidays, rites, etc. that celebrate & recognize the transitions from October into November, from abundance and activity into rest and quiet, and simply from life into death, its two key figures are often associated with similar themes. Some relevant blurbs about Baalberith & Eurynomous:
Baalberith (with considerations that Baalberith & Ba'al Berith are the same demon)
as the infernal secretary and record keeper he records history as it happens, cataloging the previous year's harvest and accomplishments
known to some as the demon of alchemists, signifying and influencing change, transformation and evolution, as well as death via all those things
Eurynomous
seen by some as the "true god of death" in the Greek underworld
Eurynomous eats corpses and carrion, symbolizing both the removal of the old, and the way in which the old (literally) nourishes the new
After this rite of endings (and after the second rite to Lucifer in December), the rite of new beginnings, to Belial, is on December 21st.
*some traditions also call on Babael during this rite, but we know little of him bc the name is exclusively (as far as the public knows) from the Dukante archives

40. What is your favorite world that you’ve created for a fic?
I'm glad that this is a tough one to answer now! I still think my take on a "healing zone" of the Throne of Heroes in A Demanding Heart might be my favorite. I designed it as a peaceful place with a bit of adventure for spice, and I think it worked really well. (Also I got to squee about castles, which I also love to do.)
Runner up in that category is the Palace/revamped Canaan from Poisoned Honey, which is a combo of Granblue Fantasy and Sleeping Beauty Trilogy's worlds + my own tastes, which I've never tried before! It's been a lot of fun working on it.
43. Is there a trope or idea that you’d really like to write but haven’t yet?
SO MANY...I've been wanting to do an A/B/O fic set in GBF for a long time now, and do actually have it partially-written! But it's...I'm not sure where it's going? It's a very different take on A/B/O than most (Omegas fret over the Alphas like they're Victorian maidens/luxuries, and Alpha!Belial games the system while Omega!Djeeta tries in vain to corral him), which both helps and hinders.
Aside from that, though, for Trigun Stampede in particular I keep chomping at the bit over that "Legato/Vash/Knives sex cult" idea! Especially since there's an amazing amount of carte blanche re: how Legato would act toward Vash, how Plants' biology works, getting to invent hymns and sacred rites and and and. It's both erotic and also ideal for lots of Complicated Feelings About Religion, a topic I didn't know I enjoyed writing about until recently.
...I just noticed, both of these have confining social/religious rituals at their center...huh. XD

The Rite (2011)
A new priest who is losing faith is enrols in a programme to train exorcists by the Vatican but whether his faith is regained depends on the proof of evil.
Most of the acting is fairly consistent but the outlier is easily Hopkins who steals most of his scenes, however he embodies his Welsh character the most when the demon attempts to parody the accent. The build-up is mostly effective and the debate between religion vs science brings up some decent points.
It does get a little slow at points, particularly in the first half when the direction of the narrative is left deliberately vague so the suspense in each scene is half diffused as scepticism. A little too much faith is put in the institutions portrayed in the story which very much have many real-world flaws or sins that have yet to be addressed.
There’s a lot of engaging imagery, not just from the religious or gothic side of the text but also the demonic elements. A certain vagueness is maintained throughout in terms of the psychological effectiveness of exorcism but it works in favour of the narrative conflict. Similarly there’s a conflict of faith which drives the plot and works well to develop the protagonist.
Baal felt like very much the wrong demon to be associated with this story, being the demon of storms and ambient destruction, whereas Belial would have been a far better fit considering the imagery of insects, rape, darkness, and corpses which is basically the entire film. There’s some danger of the movie transferring delusions into religiously justified rites, but that’s the same for any one involving demons or exorcism.
5/10 -Can’t find a better example of average-
-The film was shipped to theatres under the title “Denial” (look, rhymes with Belial, just saying.)

Sigils Magic Basics
"A sigil is a symbol used to represent something in a magickal working.
If you're not new tote occult, you may have come across or even used sigil magick of some type.
In basic candle magick, sometimes symbols of desire are carved into candles before they're burned. In the advanced art of evocation, sigils are used as signatures of sorts, representing the entity being called forth.
Somewhere in the middle of these two magickal ickal uses of sigils lies what is commonly called "sigil magick." Most modern versions of sigil magick owe their roots to the work of Austin Osman Spare.
Spare was an artist with an uncanny connection tion to the unseen world. One can assume he saw things moving in the dark matter all around us on a regular basis.
More important, however, was his ability to pull things out of his deep consciousness and reveal them through his drawings and paintings.
By doing so, he forged links to atavistic or hidden forces in his own body and in the universe.
Spare worked on a way of using symbolism to quickly contact the forces that his art sometimes had to painfully call up. His Alphabet of Desire was a series of symbols that could be assembled like mystical keys to an ancient puzzle. The way he'd put them together determined what real forces were called into his life.
At least that's the aspect of it that we'll explore for our purposes here.
Rather than use Spare's symbols, however, modern magicians realize alize that his work was truly relevant only to his subconscious.
Spare's Alphabet of Desire and other paintings are not universal symbols.
To come up with a symbol that will speak to your hidden consciousness, ness, you have to trick that part of your mind into making a connection with a symbol or sigil during its creation.
The idea is to know why a symbol makes sense during its creation, but then sort of forget the significance nificance upon its completion.
In other words, you should be fully conscious scious of why the squiggles on paper represent your magickal desire while you are designing the sigil.
When you use the sigil in a rite, though, you want the alien look of it to jump past your daytime mode of thought and straight to the hidden parts of your mind.
If you think of daytime consciousness as a mundane barrier to your latent powers, then think of sigils as blades that penetrate the barrier to release a tiny but specific sliver of your potential."

This is where many beginners (and even some veterans) of Magic fail.
A Sigil is a personal symbol, with meaning only --or perhaps I should say, mainly-- to it's creator.
This means that using a Sigil created by someone else will either be less effective, or not work at all. Because THEY are the ones who hold the Key to their own creation, and it cannot be passed on.
Not without serious study and work to associate them correctly. (As one would study, for instance, Runes. Although that is a very different topic as Runes have some inherent magic by themselves.)
It is also far too easy to simply draw something pretty, by meaningless.
A Sigil must connect to the innermost part of the person who is to use it. This is vital!
So keep that in mind when you plan to use Sigil magic yourself.
Unless the Sigil speaks to you on a deep, subconscious level, it will not work.
Keep that in mind whenever you work with Sigils. Especially if you consider to use a Sigil created by someone other than yourself.
Mind you, you can use Sigils created by someone else, but it would be like learning a new language well enough to speak it fluently and automatically; A lot of work.
It can be done... but it would likely be easier to just create the Sigil yourself.
