hey folks, can anyone gimme a bit of help?? I’ve been seeing a lot of stuff about Lucifer on here, and feeling a bit of a pull to work with him for a little while now. I’ve had a really hard time with researching him lately because of how much is about pop culture (characters, shows, books, literally everything), Christians essentially saying that Lucifer is gonna kill everything and you should avoid him and the gays who serve him, or, like, deity/biblical fanfic? If you currently work with Lucifer or have in the past, could you help me out with some information about him? UPGs, signs, associations, stories, history, advice for working with him, reliable sources for research on him, etc would all be super helpful! Also, Loki is my patron deity, so does anyone know if they don’t really get along? Loki seemed pretty excited about that idea when I talked to him about it, but idk lol
A read a post from a member of the O9A here on Tumblr, about how one should treat their texts with skepticism and only stand for what they get about them. Beside that it's a bit too convenient to say so, they also said that they are purposefully ambiguous with their texts to both have "a sinister fun" (?) and to give a test of mundane-ness to people. And not gonna lie, this is the only credit I feel like giving to them. Be it their actual goal or not, they took the worst ideology one could think of and clothed it with an idea of greatness, released it into the wild and waited to see how many people would have been corrupted by it.
And they took the bait, a lot of them. But if I had to interpret their texts just according to my own comprehension and according to my own self, way too many forced interpretations should be made
« And every night she cried for help
She prayed to God 'cause she was told to
But He never spoke to her
She felt so cold, and left alone
But then the fallen angel came...
But then the fallen angel came to heal the pain inside her heart
... her broken heart...
She closed her eyes and saw his goodness and the truth -
She's not alone
He's always there »
Okay I could have completely made this up but some background first
I looked up the Satanist tag on here and so much stuff abt worshiping Satan came up and like I'm not surprised dgmw. But ISTG aren't there two different religious things that sound similar and one of them is Satanism and isn't Satanism the one that doesn't believe in satan???? I'm literally so fucking confused.
Ive been calling myself a Satanist for so long, although I do not worship Satan/Lucifer. Pls someone help I feel like I'm going crazy bc I can't remember the name of the other one and I'm convinced I made it up!
Lilith, beautiful powerful and rebellious goddess linked to lucifer because they have the same wounds.
She doesn't like being called.
No precious stones for her but elegant clothes that show her off.
what she teaches:
No longer be afraid of the dark
Blood magic (always to be used with caution and ONLY if the entity is blood related and asks for it).
She is related to spiders.
Lunar magic (more intense with the red moon which takes place twice a year).
Working with her will be difficult but so rewarding.
She doesn't like to share an altar.
Offerings :
Drawings, poems, perfumes, nail polish, lipstick, dried roses.
Black tea, sweet wine.
Red fruits.
Satanism is an old religion. Older than Christianity or Judaism. Like the Satanic bible says:
"It was an old religion, older than Christianity or Judaism. But it had never been formalized, arranged into a body of thought and ritual."
As stated in the Satanic bible:
"The Roman god, Lucifer, was the bearer of light, the spirit of the air, the personification of enlightenment. In Christian mythology he became synonymous with evil (it means Satan, even though he's not evil, i might add), which was only to have been expected from a religion whose very existence is perpetuated by clouded definitions and bogus values!"
It also said this:
"It is time to set the record straight. False moralisms and occult inaccuracies must be corrected. Entertaining as they might be, most stories and plays about Devil worship must be recognized as the obsolete absurdities they are."
So. Do not mix up Lucifer and Satan. Get your facts straight first.
If you do believe in the christian ideology of our Lord, then go ahead.
