For me, weekends at Hogwarts were always filled with either studying and fun with friends. Every Friday night since 2nd year Pansy, Lorenzo, Draco, Blaise, Mattheo, and Theodore would meet in someone’s dorm (more commonly one of the boys’) and hangout. Sometimes people would drop to go on dates or study for big tests, but it was usually the majority of us.

This particular night in December, Pansy and Blaise dropped for some big test in some class I’m convinced no one else took and Draco was… now that I think about it I have no idea. Lorenzo and I had taken it upon ourselves to get Christmas decorations to brighten up the dorm he, Mattheo, and Theo shared. With some light complaining from the other boys, we quickly got into decorating.

“Okay, so we got the tree up,” Theo began, gesturing toward the sad little evergreen in the corner, “Now I say Mattheo and I finish putting the ornaments on while you,” he pointed at me, “and Enzo put up the green stuff.”

“For a guy who was complaining so much you’re really getting into this decorating gig,” I commented.

“Also, why the fuck did you just call garland green stuff?” Mattheo asked incredulously, giving all of us a laugh.

“Because I stole a little something to go with the garland, but you guys will have to figure that one out on your own,” he sent a wink toward Enzo and I.

“Okay…?” I responded confusedly, opening the box full of garland, or ‘green stuff’.

“So, do you want to put the garland around the window and door frames?” Enzo suggested, blocking out the noise of Mattheo and Theo loudly laughing and decorating.

I smiled and said, “That sounds great, you want to start with the door?”

After much struggle we finally finished the door frame and were incredibly pleased with our handy work.

We stood back and admired the green pine garland. “Nice work Mr. Berkshire!” I exclaimed hold my hand up for a high five.

He immediately reciprocated the gesture and replied, “I couldn’t have done it without my lovely partner in decoration.”

“Do just want to keep decorating the door and then move on to the window?” I asked. “I think I saw some…” I paused realizing the implication of Theo’s earlier comments. “Mistletoe in the box.”

I glanced over at Theodore and Mattheo, who both wore massive grins. Mattheo stretched and said, “And that’s my cue to get out of here.”

“Wait, why are you leaving?” Enzo asked his brow furrowed.

“I’m gonna head out too,” Theo smirked. “You crazy kids be careful.”

“What?!” I questioned, “Where are you guys going? This is your dorm!”

“Don’t do anything I would do!” Mattheo yelled from behind him as he and Theo practically ran down the hallway.

Slightly stiff in confusion I shut the door and turned around. I asked, “What the fuck just happened? And what does that even mean?”

“What now?” Enzo said just standing there in shock.

“I guess we keep decorating.”

And we did, we finished the door and put up the garland around the window. And just as we were finishing up, Enzo said, “Wait, we forgot something.” He jumped off the ledge of the tall window and onto the floor picking up the mistletoe. He dangled the herb from his fingers and shook it with a smile, quickly jumping back up onto the window sill. “I thought this would be the perfect place for it.”

He reached up and placed the yarn loop onto a hook made for a plant then looked back down at me. My cheek heated up as I realize the implication of us standing under the mistletoe. I breathed out, “Hi.”

“Hi.” He smiled. “I suppose per tradition, we should kiss… that is if you’d want to.”

“I would like that… a lot.” My heart hammered in my chest as we slowly got closer and closer together, silently daring each other to close the gap.

“Would go like to go on a date with me sometime?” Enzo asked his voice wavering slightly. I wrapped my arms around his neck.

“Yes!” I said, finally closing the gap between us, while simultaneously opening a brand new door to our friendship, a romance.

Experiment FAQ

What is the Experiment?

Originally, I designed this experiment to help myself out when I was having a hard time getting writing done just after getting a new job. My lack of energy and feeling like I had no one to share my progress with started to get me down.

So I came up with an idea: for every ask I received here on my writing blog, I would write at least 100 words before I answered it! This method worked wonders for me because it gave me a caveat: if I wanted to interact with the community, I had to get some writing done. It has since grown, and now over 30 other writeblrs are participating!

How Do I Participate?

It’s as simple as deciding that you want to start using this method, too! I encourage you to let me know so I can add you to the participants list (linked below) and send a ‘checking in’ ask every once in a while, but that is not a requirement!

You can let me know via DM, reply, reblog, or through an ask! If you send me an ask, I will add you as soon as I get it, but I won't publicly answer until after I've written my 100 words XD

What are the Rules?

You get an ask, you write a hundred words, you answer it. That’s it! You can decide if you want to keep track of your progress, or answer the asks normally with no indication that you’re even participating.

Some have taken the idea and made it their own. For instance, @sleepyowlwrites designates some time when the experiment applies, but otherwise is not always using this method. @antique-symbolism asks that, if you want your ask to apply, you write “100” before or after, so they know! And @himbos-hotline switched it from 100 words per ask to 15 minute sprints per ask! All variations are valid and welcome, that’s why it’s called an “experiment,” it’s about finding what works for you!

What Should I Keep Track of and How?

It’s up to you! I personally add which WIP I worked on, how many words I wrote for that ask, and how much I’ve written for the experiment as a whole. I write it at the end of every ask after a divider image. It’s motivating for me to see the number slowly tick up at the end of every ask, but it’s a lot to keep track of! Some only keep track of total, some only list how many the ask generated, and some don’t keep track at all!

If you're looking to use a tag on your blog to keep track of everything, you can use the collective tag "#the great motivation experiment" or you can make up your own!

What if I Don’t Think This Method Will Work for Me?

That’s totally understandable! For some, this sort of thing can be overwhelming and the opposite of motivational.

If you're curious but uncertain, you can always test it out and decide what to do based on your personal results. If it works, great! If not, you can message me privately and let me know you want to drop out. No sweat! I don't mind adding/subtracting your name to the list as many times as you'd like!

If you’re not interested in participating, but still want to be part of the community, you can always check out the participants list and send asks to motivate your fellow writers! Everyone on it has signed up and agreed to be tagged!

Hi, Anon! Thanks so much for reaching out with a question. I don’t think ‘big blogs’ exist in the Redactedverse fandom. If they did, I wouldn’t consider myself to be one of them. I’m happy to have a place to share my fanfics and headcanons with the fandom while getting to access everyone else’s fanfics, fanart, headcanons, playlists, and ideas. I enjoy the community of creativity of this space. It’s not often that I have a stake in anything else that happens to be going on in tumblr-land. Frankly, as you’ll see from my answer, I don’t have a stake in this answer, either, but I’m presuming that you’re asking this question from a genuine place of curiosity and community, so I will answer to the best of my limited abilities from my limited perspective.

I’m not familiar with the ‘burn out posting thing’ to which you refer, but I think I can gather what you mean based on how I post my own fanfics. I’m flattered you think I have my finger on the pulse of the fandom, but alas, I do not. If you’re looking for me to agree or to disagree with anyone else or to respond directly to something you’ve seen, I’m afraid you’re looking in the wrong place. I’m the first to admit that I have very few skills, but something I do very well is ignore posts that don’t bring me joy, whether that by blocking or simply letting my eyes skim over posts without comprehending or engaging with them. I certainly am willing to talk with and to listen to others in private conversations, but that's not anything I'd broadcast here. I am but a simple, predictable Romi.

I’ll respond as best I can to your question, but before I do, I first want to pause to offer some statements that I hope are obvious, but I feel must be included in conversations regarding writing, writing processes, authorial mindsets, etc.. Every writer writes for different reasons. Every person holds different opinions. Everyone has a different comfort level and means to move through the world happily and safely. I write for my own reasons. I hold my own opinions. I know my comfort level and seek to preserve my own happiness and safety. I can only speak for myself because I’m all I know. If other writers/artists/creators hold differing or contrasting opinions, that is perfectly valid and they are all deserving of respect and courtesy. In no way, shape, or form should my answer (or anything I post) be construed as invalidating, attacking, or otherwise negative towards anyone or any works.

If you’re still here and still interested, Anon, I’ll share my thoughts under the cut…

As a writer, I love it when people engage with my work. I LOVE IT SO MUCH. I love when people leave comments on AO3. I love when people leave kudos on AO3. I love when people bookmark on AO3. I love when people reblog and add comments/tags on Tumblr. I love when people reblog without saying anything on Tumblr. I love when people reply to my posts on Tumblr. I love when people like my posts on Tumblr. I love when people ask to be added to a taglist on Tumblr. I love when people send me DMs on Tumblr. I love when people (signed or anonymously) drop by my inbox on Tumblr. I love when people read my work anywhere.

All that said, I don’t write for comments/kudos/bookmarks/reblogs/DMs/asks. I write because I enjoy writing. Otherwise, and I mean this in a loving, kind way, I would be giving you people way too much power over my life.

I write because I enjoy writing. I post my writing because I enjoy sharing my work.

I adore a lot about the Redactedverse. You can tell from my work that I’ve got preferences regarding characters, storylines, genres, etc. I tend toward writing longer fics, though I’ve also got oneshots. I tend towards hurt/comfort and drama, but I’ve also got fluff and humor. I’ve got stories that mix up characters, prequels, AUs… For the most part, I like to write about my favorite characters and explore the storylines I think would be interesting, plausible, and compelling. Sometimes, I write gift-fics for people (for a variety of reasons) or I solicit prompts from anyone. Even when I write those stories for others, it still is (it has to be!) my own conceptions of the characters, plotlines, dialogue lines, etc, that drive the work. I’m thrilled to have the chance to show my love to people through my writing. Overall, my hope is that there’s something for everyone contained in my (still growing!) catalog of fics, but whether or not it does isn’t something I can control. What I can control is that I enjoy the stories I write and that I’m proud of the way I created plots, presented the characters, captured their voices, and constructed the stories. It’s fun to see my work live on AO3 so that I can reread it whenever I want. I do that frequently.

Like I said earlier in this post, though, I do welcome and cherish any and all feedback on my work. I think I value that feedback, in whatever form it comes, precisely because the feedback comes unmandated, unregulated, and otherwise without expectations. People make the choice to speak up and let me know they read my work, not because they have to, but because they want to. I wish I could fully articulate how incredibly special that makes me feel as a writer.

Mandating reblogs, asking for a certain number of comments, or something similar to that line of thinking that, for me and my approach to writing, would be dangerous. It takes the fun out of all the feedback that is freely left. Feedback isn’t a toll readers pay to access my work. I would never want to impose that, even if I had some way to enact such a bizarre construction.

Do I hope that people will, somehow in some way, choose to engage with me when they read my work? You bet I do. That’s why I respond to every comment I get on AO3. That’s why I respond to every reblog with comments/tags or replies on Tumblr. That’s why I keep my inbox open. I want to show my undying, overflowing gratitude when people choose to take that extra step by letting me know they liked what they read and, by reblogging, help more people see my work. It’s a true gift. That’s why I like to say thanks. Not only that, I’ve met some WONDERFUL fandom friends by replying to a comment, which turns into discussing characters, which turns into a string of DMs, and poof! Friendship achieved that includes but reaches beyond fandom. I hope everyone reading this has the chance to experience such joy in life.

As much as I enjoy receiving feedback, I also know blogs don’t exist in a vacuum. There are people on the other side of those usernames (Except the bots! Report and block those bastards!) Sometimes, people get way too anxious to be able to leave a comment. All they can do is kudo. Even though I don’t share that sentiment, I understand it. Sometimes, people aren’t ready to reblog something because they don’t want to showcase a certain fandom/subject/kink/preference/whatever on their blog, whether out of embarrassment, peer pressure, or real concerns for irl safety. Instead, they like the post. Again, that’s not a challenge I face, but I acknowledge it’s a possibility for many. Sometimes, people miss seeing work because of how dashboards are organized. It happens. Sometimes, people just don’t like my stories or headcanons, so they certainly would choose not to interact with my work. That’s completely and totally fine, too! There are SO many reasons or circumstances that hinder someone's ability to interact. It's not my job (or prerogative) to create meaning out of someone's lack of interaction.

Moreover, I’m not just a writer in this fandom. I’m a reader, too. I read a lot of the fanfic on Tumblr and AO3. As you might already know, Anon (depending on who you are and how observant you are), I often reblog and comment when I like someone’s fic and/or want to support an author's work. I love spreading the word about people’s cool texts! I like knowing that I’m making an author’s day by engaging with their work. Same goes for art, headcanons, playlists, and the other cool Redactedverse stuff people create and share. At no time am I, however, required to engage with those works at all. The fact that I choose to engage is an example of my exercising my choice, not reciprocating out of obligation. Sometimes, I miss stuff. That doesn’t mean I purposefully refrained from commenting. Other times, I heavily disagree with the interpretations/ideas, so I opt not to engage.

I need the space and grace to have agency over how, when, and where I leave feedback. It’s only fair I offer everyone else that same space and grace. I don’t want to feel pressure to leave feedback. It’s only fair I make sure I don’t pressure anyone else to leave feedback on my work.

It’s worth mentioning that when it comes to promoting my own work, I don’t hesitate to do so. I always make sure that I’m my biggest fan. That works out well, because I’m an attention-seeking showoff. It is my hope that every creator can say truthfully, “I’m my biggest fan.” I promote to my heart's content, but I cannot, in good faith, foist my work on anyone.

So, I think all of that is context for how I approach this idea of your phrase ‘burn out posting thing.’ Have I noticed a decline in engagement with my own work? For sure I have. Perhaps it’s a Redactedverse trend. Perhaps it’s a fandom trend more broadly. (I have no data to back up either of those guesses.) While I’d love a sudden upswing in engagement, I think there’s nothing much I can do to generate that. Instead, I’d rather use that time and effort writing and posting more fanfics.

It’s fun for me to create. It’s fun for me to know that I created something that didn’t exist before. That’s why, as of this moment, I don’t see an end in sight when it comes to my fic writing. I certainly will continue to write at my own pace which, as I’ve said many times, is slow. I’ll write fics that I will want to read, featuring characters I want to read about, plotlines I want to explore, with a word-count that suits me.

I mean it when I say, in every story-note, I welcome and cherish any and all feedback on my work. I suppose that whether that feedback comes in the form of a flood or a drip-drop, I take solace in the knowledge that each and every piece of feedback I receive was freely given to me.

Basic Rps Rules

I do no follow first! Sorry! I will like your promo but there will be no reblogging your promo unless your mutuals or friends with me.

1. Yes this a blog for rping but I won’t be affiliating with the rpc for many reason as it is not good for my mental health. Most of the time it for follower numbers, middle school drama, ghosting or to get something out of others. I’m sorry but I’m tried of it. 😬

2. I do have an about of my characters list but you’re going to have to ask for the link in my box ask. 9/10 people don’t read my characters list I worked hard on. Sorry but I’m tired of putting the work in and not getting feed back.

3. No I’ll not be using icons for my rps anymore. It distracts me from focusing on writing replies. And yes you can use icons with yours. I only ask you not to force me to use icons. 👍

5. My reply length is about 1 to 4 paragraphs. The only requirement I ask you is to give me about a paragraph for me to work with.

6. If I don't follow you back, it means you didn't ask for my characters list in the inbox. Mostly likely I'm going to soft or hard block you. It really depends.

7. I will say this I’m mostly on discord, playing video games, listening to music or doodling. Maybe other life stuffs. So it may take me awhile to see the reply, im or ask. If you have my discord, you are free to tell me you have replied.

8. If I find out you are straight up stealing any refs design that I pay for or was a gift by a friend, I will block you. Especially my Jevil ( hellborn design too ) and Junkil. Being inspired by their design is fine. But straight up stealing it; big nope.

9. I will not tolerate slander, name-dropping , or picking sides over a friendship-falling / ex-partner. As for picking sides, I will tell you to knock it off in dms, and continuing will get you block. I’m not dealing with this. This will cause me to grieve if we’re close, and likely will not add you back into my life depending on how badly you treated me.

10. My muses are not lust on first shipping ( cannons ship or fan ship, it doesn’t matter). Most muses will do it for their partner when they have a strong romantic relationship ( most of them are Greysexual or demi-sexual). Also, I, the mun, must trust you or sense you give good vibes. Smut rps will not be on this blog, as there is a side blog for it (I will give you the link for it, or we can move it to Discord.). Do not pressure me to provide the link to you. I will link it when I’m ready. You will risk getting blocked.

11. No double/Same character jealousy or sharing the same ship jealousy. There will be 3 three warnings, and then I will block you on the fourth. It isn’t the first time I dealt with this shit. It is common sense. And if there is any jealousy in a Discord server or dm, it will still count on this blog. Even if we’re close friends/ best friends, you don’t get a free pass.

-First warning: I will blacklist you on my dash and refuses to talk/write you until I feel safe and hopefully understand to knock it off. Time may vary on how much you push the damn button.

-Second warning: I will remove or mute you on Discord and, again, will blacklist you on the dashboard and refuse to talk/write with you until I’m ready. I will add you back on Discord.

- Third warning: I will fully warn you in dms on Discord and remove/block you. Your blog will be blacklist again and may get a soft block. I will follow you back when I’m ready.

- Fourth warning: Blocked on Tumblr and Discord. No more giving chances.

( Btw if your friends/ mutuals send hateful anon/ ask because I blocked you, they will get entirely blocked, too. )

so. coming back after months of hiatus to this. i'm going to make it clear once and for all. idgaf if you believe me, but i have the dms to prove my side. here are the facts:

i didn't send that screenshot to topguncallouts. i don't engage with the equivalent of fandom tabloids. as far as i'm concerned this issue was over a long time ago (Sept 2022) y'all just brought it up again and idk why.

i didn't report you to the tgm server mods. i sent the screenshots of our convo to a friend, because your statements about trans ppl and writing about trans ppl made me uncomfortable, and i tried to correct you, but you didn't listen. and it made me anxious. so anxious that i physically felt it. my hands shook after that conversation. i sent it to a friend because i wanted to vent, and i wanted a trans person to check if i had handled the situation correctly as i am a cis woman.

after seeing the whole convo this friend did ask if i wanted to report you. and i said no, because it happened in my dms. it was directly traceable to me, and to be fair it wasn't a public incident on the server. it was, simply, a disagreement between you and me. no, you don't get to know who the friend is. they're trans and i don't want you interrogating them instead.

our conversation happened around Sept 9 2022. i vented to a friend later that day. you were banned from the tgm server Sept 26 2022. that same day you also banned me from the after dark server without explanation, but i suspected the reason already as you had deleted all your messages to me (which, an innocent person acting in good faith would totally do /s). when i mentioned to mods about it, they apologized to me that my private dms, which were showed/brought/forwarded to them, were part of the reason you were banned. you should have stopped to think. if i'd been the one to report you, it would have been closer to Sept 9, not weeks later around the time you would be arguing with tgm server mods. you would have been banned immediately because those dms contained much worse than what was posted in callouts.

they were part of the reason you were banned. but you were first reprimanded for arguing with mods. you know that.

any reply you make to this should be public, or in my inbox and i will publish it. despite our disagreement, i thought you were my friend and you were capable of listening. but look at what believing in that got me. i'm getting dms i was being brought up in callouts. i've said nothing even though you banned me from after dark server--when after dark server was my idea in the first place. i haven't complained even though i was told you wanted me banned from the tgm server in return, calling me several things, the mildest of which is i'm a security and privacy breach which should not be tolerated. i took that all. i kept my silence. and yet you and those anons still have the audacity to drop my name in these petty issues.

i won't tolerate any more disrespect. if you send something rude or assume the worst of me again and spread it. i'll drop the full screenshots. and trust me, context will not clear your name. it'll just show ppl how much worse the things they don't know are. otherwise, leave me alone. i don't care if anyone believes my side. i know the truth, and i know i didn't betray or hurt people or lie, despite what you or anons or dms will say about me.

This blog runs mostly on headcanon. The game only paints this thing in broad strokes, and I’m having fun filling in the details. Please keep this in mind, just in case They ever return in canon.

Mun does not equal muse. The End hates all of existence, and acts the part. My apologies in advance if what They say is upsetting, or even just plain rude.

An addendum to the above: The End has talked about the universes they’ve destroyed… universes that might sound familiar. I’m leaning on the fourth wall here to give my portrayal some extra spice. I do not actually hate these canons; if you do, that’s fine, but this blog is not the place to discuss it. Asks or replies that only equate to “good riddance” will be deleted.

Someone’s made the pissing-on-the-moon joke already. I love Real-Time Fandub, but please don’t repeat the joke unless you get creative with it.

HOW I RUN MY BLOG.

SPEED: slow! slow af literally please expect to be waiting at least a month for replies if not even longer....i also almost exclusively use the queue to stagger my replies/inbox memes/everything i'm ever tagged in. it really helps with keeping me from spending too much time on this hellsite :'D LOL not anymore 😂😂😂 i try to do some replies every few days, i usually like to post 1-3 things at once before taking a few days off. i also can be VERY SLOW when it comes to answering dms and discord messages; however, i have been trying to be quicker on that end....pls have patience with me overall i promise i will get back to you sooner or later!!

REPLIES: again, very slow but i rarely drop things. long time followers know that sooner or later i get back to them...and if i don't they know since i would have otherwise posted their reply in the queue ;'D

STARTERS: pls feel free to write me all of them- again it might take me some time to get to all of them, but i promise, i haven't forgotten about ANY of them :'D i will note though that I don’t answer replies chronologically but rather i will pick one character and then do ALL of their threads there at once :'D

also i will note...i do like have SOME minimal plotting before we plot writing together and then maybe?? it can be kick-started by either memes or unprompted starters...really it depends on who my partner is; i like to be flexible in this case!!

INBOX: it gets cleared out at the same time as the replies! so basically pls consider them as being at the same pace as replies. :'D feel free to send them in as and as many as you want...but also pls know i have a right to decide whether i answer what you've sent in or not....but basically as for the most part, i treat inbox memes the way i do replies- i will get back to you sooner or later!

SELECTIVITY: very selective. i'm not gonna lie, i am very selective with who i follow as writing these days, while i adore doing it, it also takes up a lot of my energy. i don’t want to waste my energy on dynamics and threads i know i’m not going to be excited about. if i follow you, it means i've looked over your blog, your content, your muses, and everything and i've decided that we have a chance at getting along :D but then again following ppl...it's a bet.

will note though as well- your attitude on dash makes or breaks whether i want to follow you. if you treat your followers with respect and genuine interest and care, i am more than happy to wait for you. however it's clear you look at your partners as a means for an end like entertainment purposes....i will soft block.

shipping wise, i don't halfass my shipping; basically i like romantic shipping as much as the next person BUT...i won't sacrifice my character's development and arc for a ship. ever. basically i only do romantic ships if there is serious ic AND ooc chemistry.

WISHLIST: honestly...i'm pretty content, but i would love for all of my muses to have more plotted relationships, platonic or romantic 🥺 well, patrick/myungdae and mana, romantically wise, i'm very content with, but my other muses!! maybe i just want more interactions with plotting backing up in general.

HONEST NOTE: i know can sound like a hard ass but i promise i'm not. i just tend to be very picky with who i follow, but once you're in, i like to think i'm pretty easygoing- you can ask my long time partners as well if you need clarification <3

Also, communicate with me if i'm doing something that is making you uncomfortable- i am not a mindreader and i will not try to be. communciation is key here.

(( Do you have any guidelines as far as limits go, for those extremes? Stuff you want avoided, or not talked about in detail, or TWed? Things you don't mind a mun bringing up during plotting, but you don't want an anon dropping on you out of nowhere? Like extreme gore, or assault, or ageplay, raceplay, etc? Sorry if this has been asked, I checked your rules and didn't see anything about it ))

((As far as Alastor's limitations go, he won't do anything involving racism or raceplay, because he saw/got enough of that when he was human and it'd make him feel too grody/guilty to even touch it. He wouldn't even be able to think about sex at that point, he'd just be lying there like "what would grandma think?" (This only applies to human racism, like, if an imp goes "can you play the prejudiced succubus and say Demon Slurs at me" he's gonna be like "I have no emotional connection to this scenario! Sure!") He also won't do incest play with his partner playing a maternal figure—or even call someone "mommy"—for similar "it hits too close to home and feels gross" reasons.

The reason this isn't in the rules is because I wouldn't mind if people ask him about these things, because if people ask me OOC about a kink, then I write a boring dry explanation, but if people ask Alastor IC about a kink, then I get to write his vivid in character perspective on it, and also maybe get to write him delicately dodging the question in a way that makes it sound like his answer is "you know I'm up for anything. ;)" That's what I'm here to do—write Alastor being Alastor—not write boring dry explanations.

As far as my limits go, I've got some things I'm uncomfortable with, but I've been on the internet long enough to know that if somebody provides a handy dandy list of all the things they're uncomfortable with, then the second a troll develops a grudge against them, the troll treat that list as Vulnerable Weak Spots To Hit For Extra Damage. I've only got squicks, not triggers, so you don't have to worry about giving me an accidental panic attack.

The one thing I'll mention—because this isn't a squick thing, it's a personal preference thing—is I won't have him interacting with real life (in)famous people. You can say Alastor hooked up with a notorious serial killer cannibal. You can't say he hooked up with Jeffrey Dahmer. You can say he hooked up with Hannibal Lecter. I just don't want to write funny little make-believe stories about horrible people whose victims' families/friends are still alive.

If someone sends something I don't think oughta be displayed on the dash I can put it behind a read more and/or add warnings as appropriate; if it's something I simply don't feel comfortable answering or don't want to answer, I can just ignore the ask, no harm no foul—I won't hate you for sending it.

But please note that if I don't answer something immediately, that doesn't necessarily mean I don't like it—it might mean I went "oh this is REALLY GOOD" and I'm hoarding it for two weeks until I can draw something or write a juicy reply.

If you've ever got any doubts, I always appreciate communication and I'm never bothered by somebody DMing me to go "hey is XYZ okay with you?" But since I know y'all got that social anxiety and DMs are scary, if you want to just risk it and plop an anon straight in my inbox, that's okay, you can do that.))
