╰┈➤ fluffy headcanons pt. 2 - aot.

ft. colt, reiner, porco, zeke. cw. gender neutral reader

⋙ colt grice.

colt coaches falco's soccer team. he gets up early in the morning, dressed in a fleece half-zip with some gloves to set up pylons on the field for the kids' drills. he knows every kid by name and doesn't give any special attention to falco just because he's his brother -- parents love him. doesn't notice that some of the younger moms are hitting on him until you point it out, and then he gets awkward and flustered every time he sees them.

please just picture this man with little pink-flushed cheeks from the early september chill, blowing steam into his hands to keep them warm. he's calling out encouragements to all the kids as they run back and forth on the field -- always praise, because they're just kids and this is only for fun. he looks back at stands and just beams at you, excited that you were willing to get up so early just to watch him coach a bunch of little kids

idk why, but in my head, colt is not funny 💀 like he just doesn't understand comedic timing and isn't quite a quick or sharp as some of the other boys, but he appreciates every single one of your jokes!! he absolutely kills himself laughing every time you make a joke and he gets so excited about them that he'll tell other people your jokes (poorly 😭) but be laughing so hard they don't even understand him

ALWAYS kisses you and tells you that he loves you when he says goodbye. it's something that he does with falco already (that falco hates, btw), and one day it just slipped with you like "mwah! love you, bye!" and he goes beet red in embarrassment when he realizes, but you quickly kiss him back and now you do it every day 🥺

⋙ reiner braun.

this man only knows angst i think reiner really cherishes quiet moments of intimacy with you. like driving in the car with your hand laced in his, or having a nice meal at home that the two of you cooked together. it means a lot more to him if you show him that you love him through small gestures, instead of telling him.

he looooooooves head massages. he'll sit on the floor between your legs on the couch while the two of you watch tv so you can run your fingers through his hair and scratch his scalp. guy is vocal about it too, groaning and moaning when you rub his temples. 💀 and his knees go absolutely weak whenever you scratch his head

he has a really hard time falling asleep when he's alone 🥺 he gets really anxious at night sometimes, so if the two of you are apart he hardly gets any sleep at all -- but when you're in bed with him, this guy falls asleep the second his head hits the pillow. he feels so safe and comfortable with you that it helps ease some of his worries just knowing that you're beside him.

if you roll away from him in bed when the two of you are sleeping together, guaranteed in a sleepy haze, this man is grabbing at the bed trying to find you again. the second his hand rests on your body, he hooks his arm around your waist and pulls you tight against his chest -- sighing into your shoulder and sleepily kissing your neck. when you tell him about it the next day, he says he doesn't even remember doing it 😭

⋙ porco galliard.

porco is perpetually grumpy and bratty, except for when it comes to you. this man literally will talk to you in a baby voice when the two of you are alone together 💀 if you've ever seen those tiktoks where the girl calls her bf and makes him do the baby voice when he's with their friends -- that's porco.

like "babyyyy, i'm weawy hungee, can you make me a snack?" and he's looking up at you with big dumb eyes and a little pout while he rubs his belly. lowkey kinda cringe but the shift between his baby voice when he's alone with you and his normal voice when he's with the boys is just too funny 💀

also -- loves snacks. has a stash of chips and cookies and treats in the cupboard because he's always munching on something. if you're cooking dinner for him, he'll take a snack tax and munch on one of the foods you're prepping for dinner. you always tell him he's going to spoil his appetite, but he hasn't yet!

LOVES GOSSIP!! when the two of you are out with your friends and one of them says some out-of-pocket shit, you see porco in the corner of your eye looking at you like 👀 and you just KNOW he's going to talk about it on the car on the way home. in fact -- when the two of you go on road trips together, you don't even listen to any music. you just spend the entire time filling each other in with drama at work/school/etc. and gossiping about how other people's relationships aren't as good as yours 💀

⋙ zeke jaeger.

zeke is in his early thirties but he acts like an old man. whenever he gets up from sitting down he's pushing himself up with his hands and groaning. cracking his back with a loud moan. sighing heavily and collapsing into the couch like 💀

really into grilling? like spent a bunch of money on a fancy grill and now will take any excuse to have people over for a barbeque. he's got an apron that says something dumb like "women love me, fish fear me". you guys will be having a bbq and he's standing by the grill, watching the meat, with a pair of dark rayban sunglasses and a beer in his hand.

loves feeding you. like physically feeding you. like, if he wants you to try something that he cooked, he'll hold it in his fingers and get you to open his mouth for him 💀 he sets a little piece of cookie down on your tongue or between your teeth, and watch you expectantly as you chew it and tell him your opinion

loves building things, too. like you'll mention offhand that you think it'd be nice to have a garden and the next weekend he's coming home with planks of wood and building you raised garden beds 🥺 you don't even have to ask, he's just like "she wants a garden? ok, i'm on it!" and he immediately gets to work.

(Note:this has one of my personal headcanons that, similar to Stardew Valley players, Ivy just collects people, learns everything about them and moves on.)

Mordecai Heller

• Mordecai is a very analytical tomcat, and you being without fur is certainly... analyzed.

• You're just a regular at the Marigold who stands out to him for your appearance, and definitely no other reason.

• It's not because of the way the lighting makes your bared skin look heavenly, nor is it because of how easily he can see the way you blush around him.

• Yeah, he's in denial about it, that's for sure, but a gentle nudge in the right way and boom, he melts like butter on a hot pan for you.

• In private, of course. He has a reputation to maintain.

• Though, he definitely doesn't mind silently adoring you from across the Marigold.

• And if anyone so much as maliciously looks at you because you're different, well, Mordecai is very good at hiding both his feelings and the nondescript adult sized bags he "takes care of."

Rocky Rickaby

• Imagine if you will, being a god/goddess. People throw themselves at your feet, and want nothing more than to sing your praises until the end of days.

• That's how Rocky sees you.

• To Rocky, seeing you is like Romeo seeing Juliet. There isn't a better phrase to describe it than utter adoration.

• Unlike Mordecai though, Rocky's love for you is no secret.

• In fact, if you let him, he will go on for hours about how beautiful you are, building shrines to you with rhymes and prose, as well as painting you as heaven-sent bliss with the saccharine notes of his sweet symphonies.

• Yeah, there's no better way to put it, he's smitten.

• He also really likes the way it feels when you hug.

Ivy Pepper

• Ivy has a tendency to "collect" people.

• It's something she isn't super aware of, but it definitely affects your first couple of interactions.

• Ivy is totally entranced by you, and while at the beginning it's mostly just because of your lack of fur, it begins to become more and more about you as a person.

• She gets ahead of herself. A lot. And you definitely need to ground her sometimes.

• Yet despite it all Ivy genuinely adores, in a way that's not her finding interesting people, getting to know them, and then just moving on.

• It's not luck, by the way. Ivy genuinely loves you that much, because you are just that amazing.

Calvin "Freckle" McMurray

• On a more comedic note, Freckle is the one to make sure that all your needs are accounted for, even if it means being a bit overprepared.

• It's not that he's wilfully ignorant or dumb, he just needs a gentle reminder every once in awhile.

• The sunscreen and extra layers when it's cold out is very sweet of him though.

• Freckle's similar to Rocky in that he absolutely adores you, treating you like an angel sent from above, even if that is a bit sacrilegious.

• Unlike Rocky, he's not overtly affectionate, aside from packing things you may need because, well, no fur.

• Instead Freckle hangs off your every word, silently appreciating you. Just being in your company is just... amazing to him.

• Also, since he's usually worried about you being cold, you get the perfect excuse for cuddles too ;3.

ROTTMNT Love Interests Headcanon

If the Rise boys were ever given love interest, here’s who I headcanon they should’ve been and what their dynamic would be like:

Note: Raph and Mikey's love interest are my OCs/HCs of a Rise version of existing characters.

Leo’s love interest would be Yuichi

Leo met Yuichi through Hueso, who Yuichi works for as a new waiter for his restaurant in the Yokai city

Suddenly Leo constantly wants to go to Hueso's restaurant for lunch/dinner and his brother quickly figure out it's only because he wants to gawk at the cute new waiter.

Leo is overly flirty but Yuichi doesn’t notice him, not that he’s uninterested, it’s just he has lots of admirers, so sadly Leo in the beginning blends into the crowd.

It’s not until Leo takes a more forward approach by hitting on him with a cheesy pick up line, then proceeds to trip over himself and be humiliated by everyone, except Yuichi. He found the act endearing and Leo has now caught his eye.

Yuichi finds Leo annoying at first, but also charming/endearing thought he hates to admit it

*flirts* *flirts back* “I was not expecting this outcome, tf I do now??”

Leo tells a dumb joke and Yuichi thinks he’s a comedic genius.

They spar together, exchanging sword fighting tips/techniques

Hueso is their third wheel

Raph’s love interest would be Mona Lisa

My HC on how they first met (I guess you could say she really FELL for him ;D )

Mona is obviously in love with him but Raph is painfully oblivious. Everyone knows she likes him except Raph.

“She’s just a really good friend!” *said "friend" is wearing a shirt that says "I <3 Raphael"*

Raph would be very obvious to Mona's flirtatious actions towards him and not realize he's being hit on. Everyone knows Mona likes him, except Raph himself.

It took Raph a whole year to realize he liked Mona too. His bros can't comprehend his obviously stupidity when he asked his bros if he should ask Mona out and says he's worried she doesn't like him back (Raph end up freaking out and nearly faints when his bros tell him Mona has liked him the entire time)

She fell first, but he fell harder

For a while, Raph is conflicted with asking her out for a few reasons:

1) “What if she lost interest in me and I’m too late?!”

2) He feels he’s too busy as the oldest to have a relationship but his brothers encourage him to ask her out because him having a GF does not mean he’s being selfish for doing something for himself that makes him happy.

3) Mona’s got an overprotective father who hates the idea of his daughter dating. He liked Raph better when he was just her friend, but when Raph started having feelings for Mona he became a threat.

Eventually Raph does asks Mona out and she says yes! They become boyfriend and girlfriend shortly after their first date.

Everyone feels a wave of relief and satisfaction when these two FINALLY get together! "IT'S ABOUT DAMN TIME!" But everyone soon realized that they are annoying as a lovey dovey couple, "Stop shoving your happiness in our faces!!"

Donnie’s love interest would be Kendra

Partners in crime, on again off again romance

Fake dating trope in the beginning with them both having plans to steal each others tech, “I’ll woo him/her and when they’re off his/her guard, I’ll robbed them!”

They actually start to fall in love with each other, but then the truth comes out and they “break up”

Now constantly bicker anytime they see each other, blaming the other for the betrayal and “break up”

Argues then proceeds to make out then argue again

They are the first couple to get together, but them being really officially together is a secret. They secretly date after their first "break up" and everyone doesn't find out about them until much later on, to which Donnie just mentions he's actually dating Kendra so nonchalantly while everyone just looks on at him with shock. This is after Leo x Yuichi and Raph x Mona became couples.

Mikey’s love interest would be Renet

Renet is a human orphan who grew up in the Yokai City and is practicing to become a witch, specifically a time witch!

They met when Mikey was in the Yokai city and came across Renet when she was practicing her magic spells (aka she fell on top of him when practicing a teleportation spell)

Everyone struggles to figure out if they are dating or just REALLY close.

Best friends, goofy dummies who eventually fall in love with one another slowly over time

Innocent young love. A playground crush.

Mikey hangs out with her a lot because he likes her. He doesn’t realize he likes her and no one tries to tell him cause they thought he knew he liked her

Act like a couple loooooong before they even become a couple.

“Are you two dating or just friends?” “Yes”

That tweet of that girl asking her bf if they are dating (they are living together and have a kid) cause they never confirmed they are boyfriend and girlfriend, so when she asked the bf he responds by fist pumping his chest, giving her a peace sign and saying "we're just Bros"

There are 2 possibilities really. You're either energetic or you don't have any kind of energy.

Energetic Reader

All you two are gonna cause is chaos. You guys have so much energy inside and especially after going back to your human forms, you guys are worse than ever. All you do is run around like a maniac. You guys mess with anyone that you want. I mean both of you have a power that is too powerful for the your own good. Ya'll can play games all day long! You guys probably force people to join to your games as well. I mean no one can stop you guys from bothering people. The Emperor is probably scared of you two. When it's just the one of you, you know it's not THAT bad but when it's the two of you...there truly is no getting out. Ironically you like cold jokes. Sometimes you make them just to annoy The Emperor or someone else. Y'all also gossip a lot, you guys can't mind your own business. Both of you, curious. You guys want to know everything about everybody! You guys also act like each other in a comedic way. Bullying each other as a joke then doing it literally to strangers. The worst part is, both of you know how powerful you are. You both share the same power so for example you found out something new about your power, you can use it on The Collector then show him how it's done. You guys love pranks, you guys do it all of the time! The Collector hates it when you aren't with him. I mean why are you hanging out with someone else when he's there. Aren't siblings suppose to stay together forever? He often gets jealous. Whenever you hang out with someone he just doesn't shut up. He's also very protective of you. If someone does something to you, they are going to die in the most painful way possible. He truly loves you and you love him too. Another headcanon is that; you guys try new dumb stuff. Most of the time it ends with either killing people, burning the place, hurting one of y'all or a traumatic experience but it's still fun. You're never alone, there is always someone who matches your energy! Pretty solid relationship i say.

No Energy Reader

He always wants to play with you but you don't have the energy:( . You not being all that sunny isn't a huge deal for The Collector though! You do play board games with him. You're more mature than The Collector. You protect him from any kind of threat or at least you try to. Also you probably are not a bully...you kinda are. He loves clinging onto you. He never leaves you alone. You both do create chaos but you prefer going slowly while The Collector just goes right into it! He isn't all that patient y'know? The Collector watches you do stuff. Like reading, making food...yeah you get the point. If he wants to cook just like you, oh boy. He's probably going to start a tantrum if you say no so you have no other choice than saying yes. Be really really careful because he might burn down the place. He sometimes pull pranks on you to see your reaction and ngl they are kinda funny. If your someone who is always tired, he'd cuddle you or something. He tries being extra quiet when you're sleeping (fails miserably). He makes a lot of noise but i mean he is you brother so you can deal with it. He hates seeing you without him by your side. I mean what if someone catches you of guard?! He does know that you're really powerful and all but still he worries about his sibling! He's also over protective and possessive too. He want all of your attention! He even gets jealous of the book you're reading. I mean why pay attention to a book when there is The Collector. He obviously loves when you decide to make chaos with him. It's actually pretty fun when you try it out! You guys often have little talks. He trust you with his own life. He tells you anything and everything.

Orion do you have tips on how to write Venti 🙏 I'd be ever so grateful to learn

[Warning: Profanity ahead...and a really long read] Hii, you're in for a long ramble LOL

So, first things first, I'm probably not the best Venti writer out there. No, not even probably, I'm not. I try to write as closely as possible to canon however I know that's difficult as my own headcanons and perception of Venti will show themselves in my writing. And I genuinely think that there are absolutely better Venti writer's out there to ask.

(you can skip to around "Honestly this is..." to skip a whole lot of my rambling because genuinely instead of giving tips I just rambled. No matter how I try to think of it, you'll end up with the entire ramble no matter what :skull:)

Venti is a complex character, like genuinely a very complex character. People like dumbing him down to this silly little guy that's a drunkard and I get real annoyed when that's all people see him as. Venti is much more than the "carefree persona" he puts on. There's so much depth to his character.

Another thing to take note of, when I write for Venti, I'm usually writing him for comfort as he's a comfort character of mine. Most of my works are more focused on the reader than Venti, but the very few times I've written solely for Venti, I wrote angst with him. And there I honestly just went into the zone so how I write him is beyond me.

If I'd have to give tips on how to write him, it would be to make him more than just some silly little guy that's there for comedic relief. If you think about it Venti is the most mysterious archon we've met so far. He speaks in riddles when he knows he can't give an outright answer because that defeats the whole point of figuring it all out on your own.

He's a mischievous character. From hiding the broken Holy Lyre of der Himmel that he immediately made a break for after saying his little trick won't last forever to forging Morax's signature back when the aristocracy rules Mondstadt in order to help free Mondstadt once more. Another thing people tend to forget in the fandom is that Venti is actually really intelligent, which again isn't recognized under his "he's just a silly little guy" thing the fandom has going on for him.

Okay, I'm getting off track, this is more turning into me ranting about the fandom and being way to passionate about him :skull:

How I try to write him is to show depth to his character. I learn something new about his character every day. Like genuinely. If it wasn't for the venti nation over on twitter who are just as passionate about him as I am, I wouldn't have known half the shit I do now.

I think reading his character story and the Mondstadt lore (like the skyward weapons lore) really helped me find some depth into his character as not only the infamous bard of Mondstadt but also the god of Freedom and Hope. Maybe looking at the actual demon Barbatos would give some ideas on him as well.

Writing him is honestly a hassle, because you need to know when he'd make a riddle or a rhyme off the top of his head and when he'd talk to you like a normal person. Even in his voicelines, as far as I can remember, he doesn't rhyme often. Which made me realize that Kazuha really does talk by spitting out flowers from his mouth because I swear it's easier to write for Venti than for Kazuha who speaks in flowers :sob:

Another thing that helped me understand him a little better is simply looking up his fandom wiki page and seeing how they describe him. The first time I saw what stood there, I was like, "oh...that actually makes sense." (in reference to him hiding a lonely soul specifcally.)

When I do write him, I try to still keep his characteristic traits like being mischievous, carefree, wise, and lonely. Like I can absolutely imagine him stealing some apples from Dawn Winery and to be cheeky, he'd even sit atop the winery eating at the apples. But I keep in mind how he'd sometimes just sit alone and think. Like in his story quest, where at the end he sits on the hands of the Barbatos statue after telling us the story of the nameless bard and how he became the god of freedom. How he grieves for a friend/the friends he had lost. You can't tell me that by the end of his story quest you didn't feel the loneliness that basically oozes off of him.

I try to creep in that old timer feeling too because let's be real, he's a god, he's over thousands of years old, he has experience, ya get me? He'd have that hint of old soul vibes. And also let's not forget webtoon Venti where he was loud and proud about his songs (or rhymes or whatever was exactly said there) being twice as good as that of Barbatos himself (ironic because he literally is Barbatos). Like he is proud of being the best bard in Mondstadt.

ALSO Venti is super observant, like I will die on this fucking hill. He would know when something's up.

A big thing that I want to incorporate into my writing if I write him and it needs this, is that it will always feel like he's hiding something from you. Because it was recently brought to my attention that he doesn't always tell the truth or he talks in such a roundabout way that it diverts your attention to something else.

That and the fact that he is literally trying to hide just how powerful he truly is. He doesn't like drawing attention to himself, especially if it outs his true identity. Fucking "the weakest archon of the Seven" my ass. Like did you know that before people use a glider that they literally need to say a prayer to Barbatos to allow them to glide? I didn't either until a recent read up on a hyperfocus on Mondstadt fashion and someone on reddit said that people offer prayers to Barbatos every time they glide. If his power as an archon is based on how many people believe in him, than fuck bro you're straight up lying if the entirety of Teyvat is literally praying every time they use a glider. Like my dude is literally such a liar just to conceal his tracks and diverts attention away from himself.

Also whether or not that reddit user is correct on the prayer thing, I have no clue. I might be AR 59 but I am so behind on actual quests and shit that I just don't know, so how credible or true that is, I'm not sure. You can only trust any of my words when it comes to the archon quest lore :skull:

Honestly this is just turning into a ramble of a lifetime. I apologize sefhfef Overall, I'm not exactly sure how I write Venti or if I write him correctly. When I write there is (sometimes) no thoughts behind my eyes, just aggressive typing while I listen to music and I just pray that I write him accurately. Venti is such a complex character that it's hard to simply just...give tips because there's so much about his character that I could talk about.

I know for a fact that I try to convey not only his playful demeanor, but also his serious and caring nature. Like please, he isn't always cheerful or playful and he knows when to be serious and take things seriously.

And I try to incorporate that old timer feeling he would absolutely have because he is literally thousands of years old. (Adding this here as well for in case you did skip the whole ramble)

I can ramble about his character for days, probably, and I'd still never get to how I write him.

What I can say is to just listen to his voicelines, read his character story and go off memory of how you perceive him and know of him. Listen to other characters voicelines about him. Get to know him in a sense through those.

If you're unsure of whether you're writing him as accurately as possible (or simply just right), ask a Venti simp/fan to beta read for you. That's what I'm doing with my Eula series, I asked a friend if she could help me write Eula more accurately and she referred me to another friend of hers that loves Eula and that friend agreed to helping me in understanding Eula as not only a character but to also portray her as accurately as possible.

How do you think Charles would’ve gotten along with Trapper, Henry, and Frank?

SHAKES YOU!!! I have so many opinions on Charles interacting them!

I’ll start with Henry because I have the least amount of headcanons about him and Charles.

I do love Henry a lot but to be honest I just think a dynamic between him and Charles would just be a watered down version of what he already has with BJ and Hawk. Or at the very least, just Charles thinking that Henry is a bit incompetent and neglectful of his duties, but like charles already thinks everyone is pretty incompetent so like?? There’s not a lot there. Though I do think that Charles would appreciate the craftsmanship of the desk lmao. If Henry was CO during the time that charles got there I’m sure that charles would take waaaay longer to warm up to camp. Only because he would see Henry as someone who enables the shenanigans.

Now with Trapper, I actually believe it wouldn’t be too similar to how he treats bj. BJ, to Charles at least, is a decent man, a jokester and annoying especially if he and hawk are up to something, but a kinda of respectable family man when it comes down to it. Oh but trapper! Tapper John is Hawkeye’s perfect mirror and OH what a wall they would drive Charles up. I could go on a 3 hour rant about Trapper and Hawk being the perfect comedic duo on the camp, but this is about Charles. I think Charles would have a hard time merely being in the same room as trapper at times. I think trapper would act way better then Charles to get on his nerves, like act like he knows way more then he does about culture and opera and stuff like that, and that would drive Charles crazy. NOT TO MENTION that they’re both from Boston. Imagine Charles first coming to the 4077th and finding out Trapper was from Boston. Initially I think Charles would try to confide in him only for trap and hawk to pull a prank or something. I know in the early Charles episodes the show likes to laugh at Charles misery but oh well, can’t be helped I suppose. Another note, if they actually interacted in the should I could honestly see myself shipping Charles and trapper for a time. I think their personal dynamic would have been really really fun, trapper being overly flirty and Charles just being like “oh someone help me.” Though I don’t think they would be able to work long term, as trapper imo really likes to be ‘adored’ and taken care of in the relationship, and I don’t see Charles wanting that in someone, and especially cause of their economic difference it would make Charles feel kind of used? Idk. That’s just the Hawkchester part of me going off tho.

Okay okay, now Frank. I think, that this would honestly have been peak comedy for the show. ESPECIALLY if they were the same rank during their screen time together. If Frank was there I think that Charles would have very quickly gotten along with Hawk and BJ, especially if they were doing something to spite Frank. I can definitely see Charles, out of everyone hating Frank the most. I’m sure, it’s been said before, but I think it would be very funny if like Charles have a backhanded insult that frank is just too dumb so he interprets it as a compliment. Only for Hawkeye to add on. I think half of the dynamic between Charles and Frank is just Charles being bewildered by Franks incompetence. But also on a side not I can see him being like a wingman for Margaret like “honey you can do better then that.” Frank would definitely think there was something between Margaret and Charles, and he would get mad over that and ask Hawk and BJ for help only for them to laugh their asses off cause Charles and Margaret are MLM WLW solidarity.

General merc headcanons:

Scout:

-my boi got adhd like you would not believe

-The poor bastard cannot focus on anything for the life of him, no matter how hard he tries

-One of the reasons why he has trouble with reading, he was never really able to focus enough to figure it out, as that’s something that takes a LOT of time and a LOT of focus.

-Really talented artist tho! He loves drawing and keeps a sketchbook or two in his room! He likes to doodle before bed each night, it helps him calm down

-Somehow gay and homophobic at the same time

-Would absolutely lose his shit over the blue lobster meme no matter how old it gets

Soldier:

-My goofy ahh uncle

-The physical embodiment of “he a lil confused, but he got the spirit”

-Bro does not give a FUCK what anyone else thinks and I respect the hell out of that

-The men in his family were all in the military, which is one of the reasons why he’s obsessed

-secretly very insecure that he never actually made it into the official military

-Puts up a front so he can avoid feeling like a disappointment sometimes

-Solly is one of those people that sleeps like a LOG. Literally nothing can wake him up other than his own internal clock, which conveniently goes off at 6am.

-It is at this point in the morning when he goes around the base and attempts to make everyone else get up. Most are not pleased.

-Bi as fuck. He kisses men. He kisses women. He literally does not care, a beautiful person is a beautiful person, son.

-He calls his partner “son”.

Pyro:

-He is my son

-I love my son so much I am so proud of him for just existing.

-He is from another planet, and the oxygen in our atmosphere has hallucinatory effects on members of his species

-He literally only wants to spread peace, love, and flower power

-Fire makes him feel nice, because it’s bright and it’s warm. Fire is friendly and comforting. It helps ground him in this strange world.

-My theory is that he turned to alcohol in order to cope with the chronic burnout he must be facing by working so many jobs at once. Just helps him check out of life for a while, but unfortunately that comes at the cost of his liver.

-Fr tho how the fuck is he even alive, he drinks HYDROGEN PEROXIDE at one point, which isn’t even related to alcohol at all, it’s literally just a poisonous chemical💀

-I have reason to believe he now has epilepsy as a result of medic damaging his hippocampus while scooping his brain, I made a post about this a while ago if you’re interested in more details

-He is very much in need of a hug

-I love him so much

-You’re doin good lad

Heavy:

-One of the smartest people on the team, despite what you might perceive at first glance.

-The only reason he may sound “dumb” to some people is because English is his second language, and he has a very hard time speaking it.

-Fr tho English sucks, I have no idea how people learn it later in life on their own

-In the Russian dub of meet the heavy, he speaks a lot more eloquently. Definitely strikes me as the type of person to have a PhD in Russian literature.

-His dream was to one day become an author, but mercenary work got in the way because it was the best way to provide for his family overseas.

-He still writes from time to time in a small notebook he keeps by his bed, in the hopes that one day he’ll publish something

-He will

-Gay AF

-The literal definition of a Bear

-His guns are his babies, he literally loves them like they’re his children.

-Honestly I feel that way about my PC so I get it😭

Engie:

-Also a very underrated character

-Ties with medic for Smartest On The Team

-Engie just puts his genius towards more practical (and less unhinged) use

-I mean clearly he’s not TOTALLY stable, he did cut off his own arm to attach the gunslinger

-Always felt the need to prove himself growing up. Because of where he’s from, people tended to assume he was kinda stupid based on stereotypes. He obviously ended up proving everyone wrong.

-Is autistic and has OCD. He needs to do things a certain way or he can get extremely upset, especially in his workshop. It’s his safe space that is not to be invaded unless he is expecting you.

-Acts like a father figure to pyro. Basically the only one who isn’t unsettled by him (other than maybe medic)

-He definitely takes pyro fishing on the weekends

-Very talented singer, but he’ll absolutely deny it if you tell him. He’s super humble about everything

-But nah everyone else always loves to listen to him sing and play the guitar when they’re all hanging out at the fire pit.

-He’s such a dad I love him

Medic:

-Medic is my wife

-Smartest member of the team along with Engie

-Actually very strong! He lifted soldier up by the collar in expiration date, and he’s gotta weigh at LEAST 250.

-Also carries around heavy equipment all day, and is STILL the second fastest runner on the team, only behind scout.

-Medic is actually a pretty big dude. It’s just hard to notice when he’s standing next to heavy who is an actual giant. I think medic is canonically like 6’1 or something. Big dude. Wide shoulder. Booba. 👍

-Of course he looks small when he’s near heavy, EVERYONE looks small standing next to heavy

-Bi medic Bi medic Bi medic Bi medic

-Contrary to popular belief, he DOES indeed have the title of “Doctor”. In order to get a medical license in the first place, you are required to complete med school and obtain an MD or DO degree. Licensure and degrees are two separate things. You can lose a license, but you can’t be stripped of the education you already learned. The title of “Doctor” comes with a degree, not a license, as we have seen with engineer and Heavy’s PhD’s.

-He’s autistic with a special interest in medicine! If he’s not actively in battle, his in his lab working on shit. He LOVES it. It’s basically the only subject he cares about (source: am autistic w/ medical special interest. Am I projecting? Maybe but oh well)

-He very clearly knows what he’s doing, even though his methods are kinda fucked💀

-He’s succeeded in literally raising the dead multiple times in addition to inventing all of his healing devices completely his own.

-Hangs out with Engie when he’s not working on stuff, they both enjoy building/inventing devices and they enjoy talking about their shared special interests. He is closest with Engie and heavy out of everyone on the team.

-The only one that knows pyro is an SCP

-He’s a hoe. A massive hoe

Sniper:

-Emotions are scary and Should Not Exist

-Also autistic! The man has literally no idea how to speak to other humans, and talks to himself constantly (am autistic, can confirm)

-MASSIVE introvert, has to retreat to his van a couple times a day to recharge

-He likes to draw birds he sees while on the job!

People are arguing about this so I decided to speak up on it.

YELLOW DOESN'T HAVE A CANONICAL AGE.

And it is so annoying to watch people make long-ass posts taking the most obscure 'facts' and claiming them as canon.

No, yellow is not a confirmed kid nor a confirmed adult. And no, saying he's a kid is not ableist (-from an ND!)

The point of DHMIS is that nothing is confirmed, the creators gave us the freedom to interpret it the way we want.

There is literally no proof from anyway stating that yellow is a kid or an adult.

But Yellow got married to Claire in Jobs!

Yeah, you're taking info from an illusion. The '40' years thing could work for literally any age. Besides, the lessons can be trippy. '40 years' is very vague, no proper info can be taken from it.

But 'Wakey Wakey'-

In 'Family', the twins made yellow the mother

With this logic, you could also say yellow is a female because he was made the mother (guys could totally be called mothers but the twins were following stereotypical ideas), doesn't really work out, does it? Besides, regardless of his age, the twins would have made him the mother anyway to teach the lesson.

Getting very creative. Are we determining people's ages from their parents now? And besides, we don't know how long Lesley was in the attic for, or if she can even age. It started with a nice, sunny day when you and Bennett had no tasks to take care of and could go for an enjoyable trip to Liyue! Just a short trip, to visit some pretty places, eat some good food, get chased by hilichurls, fall into a waterfall…? Oh, dear. Let's go back to the beginning, shall we?

It all started when you decided to go on a trip. A longer walk with your friend was always a good thing, so you asked Bennett if he wanted to go with you. Even despite his bad luck, he was a great companion to have around! So when he agreed, you packed some food and other things you might need, and you two went off on the adventure.

It was… going, somehow. At first, it was pretty okay! You two could talk about random things, enjoying the view of Liyue… until a hilichurl attacked you. And then another one, followed by a mitachurl! Luckily, you managed to somehow defeat them without bigger problems and without losing too much stuff… Well, good for you two!

After that, you decided to set your trip goal on Qingce village. It was a relatively close place, and very pretty too, so why not? You decided to take the longer path, avoiding Wuwang Hill. Look, it's an… interesting place, to say the least, but you two had enough monsters and not-monsters to deal with, alright? Let's go, then!

The walk to the village was actually calmer than you expected, which was weird. Something had to happen soon, and Bennett tripping over air twice in the past five minutes was not it. And, well, just as you thought about it, you heard some crackles of electricity around. You looked around to see a bunch of electro cicins near you. Just how did they appear here, and from where?

It was risky to fight with them around water, especially if your companion was a very unlucky pyro vision wielder, so you decided to simply run away. Or, at least that was your plan because suddenly, you heard a yell coming from the said companion. You looked around to see what was going on, and…

Wait, where's Bennett?!

You heard water splash and a yell, but could find no Bennett around! And you still had electro cicins trying to electrocute you! Was Bennett somewhere underwater? Well, he probably was, so you had to jump in and help him! Well, maybe it was a bit dumb thing to do, but it was all panic speaking… and so you jumped. And to your surprise, you ended… in an underwater cave?

Wow. And Bennett was there, too! Sitting in the water, seemingly unharmed, just with wet clothes and his backpack. Really, this was luck in disguise that he was alright. You looked around at the cave. The cave was… surprisingly beautiful. Full of crystal ores, even some grass and flowers, the water seemed to shine, as if this cave was something more. It was as if Bennett's luck for once didn't bring only bad things! Well, your clothes are wet, and so is your stuff, but! It certainly can't get any worse.

Right?

You two decide to stay for some time in the cave, to rest and then find a way to somehow get out of it. The resting time was spent talking with Bennett, trying to save any of your stuff (you failed to do so), and sharing this one apple that somehow survived the great waterfall fall. It was nice, really nice… until you two heard some wet noises, and suddenly got attacked by a bunch of hydro slimes!

Oh dear. You can't catch a break for too long, can't you? At least Bennett had his pyro vision, so the fight wasn't too long or troublesome, and actually a good laugh when you two were safe. Really, just what else will this trip bring to you? But well, to know the answer to this question, you first need to somehow get out of this cave…

Do you have any headcanon about other Careers like Marvel and Glimmer?

I LOVE the careers okay so here let me unload some Marvel and Glimmer opinions and headcanons okay cool 1 2 3 lets go bitch

These are head canons so <3 not necessarily canon tho I’d argue 1 and 2 are

Glimmer is not a dumb girl. She is a career, and was trained as such. That being said, I think she absolutely knew how to use that beauty and pretty smile for good use. She is the friend at the bar that can get a round of shots for everyone. She knows how to use that face for good use for SURE. All that to say, I think it was intentional that she presented herself the way she did. Pretty smile. Giggling, little ditzy. See through dress wasn’t her choice, but the girl what she’s got. It was entirely intentional to portray herself the way she did.

Glimmer is also fucking brutal. Did y’all see her at the cornucopia? She is a CAREER. She is TRAINED. She is a volunteer, do you really think she just came in unprepared? Absolutely not. She got a whole 9 for her score. She had to have some skill. We see her at the blood bath. And while she misses Katniss with the bow, so did Cato, and noone says he had no skill. Is it misogyny maybe so.

I write Glimmer as being the youngest, third sibling to Gloss and Cashmere, which makes her death I the same all the sadder

Marvel’s persona is a funny guy. He’s also a career and he’s pretty damn big, but he’s funny. I think he can make anyone laugh, even in the games, I feel like he was cracking the careers up. In my au he’s sort of a comedic relief. I love him so much and I think he is so underutilized.

Glimmer is also underutilized by fans and fic writers

I see Glimmer and Marvel getting together, because of the funny boy principle. Anyone in the world can tell glimmer she is gorgeous and beautiful, but Marvel makes her LAUGh and thats the difference. He’d also be a major simp for her lets be honest. He would worship the fucking GROUND she walks on. I think he’d make her laugh and make her smile and make her happy and it would be one of the only times she is seen for herself and yeah. I just think it would just workout well. And I will be writing them as such in my little au.

In a different world Glimmer and Clove would be friends. LIke…begrudgingly at first on clove’s behalf. And Excitedly on Glimmers. But I don’t think there has to be this competition between them. Yeah she might find her annoying, but in some au somewhere (Im writing it) they’re friends.

Same with Marvel and Cato. Yeah they size each other up at first but I think they’d be bros.

As a result the 4 of them would be a whole career pack of friends.

Marvel is the food friend. The one who always has a sandwich infront of him, will appear next to you eating a piece of pizza. Marvel is the food friend.

Long story short I have a list of like 10 Clove and Glimmer and Marvel and Cato like.. scenes I want to write as a side story to ARWBFB I call them the side quests. And I love them. I purposefully set it up to give them the opportunity to all become friends because theres so much potential and yeah :) Love me some glimmer and marvel.

2. What song fits your pairing the most?

I'm not sure. I don't usually associate songs with characters or ships. It's rare that I do it. Maybe "Toxic" by Britney Spears if we want to go Dazai and Chuuya being absolutely obsessed with one another in the best and worst possible ways?

3. What is your favourite AU/prompt idea/trope for your pairing?

My favourite AU/prompt idea is ADA! Chuuya who joins Dazai and defects from the Port Mafia. Just the sheer comedic value of Soukoku working for Fukuzawa is enough to make me laugh myself silly.

(I also love BEAST AU with all my heart but that's a more "canon" AU since it's an official AU.)

My favourite trope with them is "We're married but we don't tell anyone and let them figure it out on their own".

10. Least favourite aspect of them/their relationship dynamics? (Can be headcanon)

Fandom wise I really dislike when people write Chuuya as completely unaware of Dazai's schemes and or unable to figure out what he's doing. I also dislike when people write Chuuya Super Obtuse to Dazai's antics relating to Dazai being in love with him.

Chuuya may not be performing 5D chess with everyone like Dazai, but he sure as heck isn't dumb. A little clueless to how social interactions work at times, but Chuuya is smart in different ways. I dislike when people just credit all the smarts to Dazai and Dazai only.

Canonically I really dislike how the series really plays the "Dazai doesn't care about Chuuya" angle all the time. Yeah, if he didn't care explain the cheek caress and pushing Chuuya's face towards his crotch in Dead Apple, series. LOL.

21. Favourite genre for them? (Angst, fluff, etc.)

Either romantic comedy "We're an old married couple bickering and arguing" or "Highly competent take down of an enemy organization because they pissed us off and we're about to show them why people trembled at the thought of Soukoku knocking at their doors".

Raph and April

The teenage boy whose only seen for his anger issues and the young adult woman whose rage is ignored because stereotypes (rebellious teen vs token female, native New Yorker vs big city scientist, redhead=big temper vs redhead=quirky nerd, I hate bugs vs jungle girl)

I wish we saw more of Raph and April. Mikey gets his little superhero adventure with her plus banter, Leo gets to help her peel apples, April and Donnie are always cooking up something. Raph and April aren’t a very comedic duo, same as with Leo and Don, so we didn’t see a lot of them one on one. Also, if Raph’s with anyone besides his brothers it’s Casey.

And it’s realistic that some friendships just aren’t as close as others. It makes sense for Raph to bond with Casey while April might be more of a family friend to him than a personal friend. But. If they had been close. They would have been so close.

April has a temper. It’s not talked about because she’s a girl. I think it exists mostly for laughs, like it’s supposed to be funny that she constantly gets mad at Casey because apparently that’s how kids shows do romance, and it emphasizes their “dumb muscle” vs “classy lady” dynamic. But I choose instead to interpret it as, when we meet April she has just been through some seriously messed up ordeals and anger is a normal healthy part of the grieving process.

Raph also gets done a little dirty because his temper is played for laughs, and sometimes plot convenience. But again, Raph has some things to process right from the word go and anger is a very normal part of that process. I wish we could’ve seen him and April helping each other work through that, especially since they are both kind of the go to siblings when the other guys have something to work through.

But perhaps that is why (I shall headcanon) they didn’t ever get quite as close as April and the other turtles. They’re good friends, they got each other’s backs, they’re both fiercely loyal and they have an understanding. But neither of them really knows what to do with themselves around the other because they’re used to being 1) the emotional one 2) the rock. Raph doesn’t confide in April the way Leo and Mikey do because he’s used to having his siblings confide in him, not the other way around. April doesn’t seek Raph’s comfort the way Donnie would because usually she’s the one offering a hand on the shoulder when one of the turtles needs it. And the other three all tend to help ground both Raph and April when they’re emotional (the way they react when she loses her shop, trying to talk Raph down from going out alone when he’s upset and might end up hurt). So uh. What would they do when it’s just them? How are they supposed to act around each other? Who’s doing the emotional outbursts? Who’s saying what the other doesn’t want but clearly needs to hear? That’s what they’re both used to, and maybe they’ve played other roles on occasion. But with a brand new person? Where are they even supposed to start?

What they do bond over is Casey Jones. We didn’t see enough of that either but come on. It happened. April asked Raph for advice about how to impress Casey (was it his idea for her to dress that way when he asked her on that fancy date). Raph vents to her when his bestie is bugging him.

As they got older maybe they’d talk more about what they were both going through when they first met, and the role they’ve played in the family, and more light-hearted things like the weather and their pet peeves and their favorite brand of dish soap.

5. "A scene I wish we had of them"

In a dumb sitcom-y kind of way, I really want to see the moment when Eowyn tells Arwen she used to have a crush on her man.

I mean, just think of all the comedic directions it could go! Did Eowyn rehearse her speech? Did she go in blind? Did she perambulate about the bush for a while, trying to find a tactful way to say it, or did she just take the "rip off the band-aid" approach??

Either way, I can only imagine that when she finally gets the words out, Arwen would laugh like the glittering of stars and the whisper of wind in the trees and the gentle pattering of rain on a rooftop, and she'd say something along the lines of, "Oh, I can't blame you. It just means you have good taste. He is wonderful, isn't he?"

Oh Persona 5, I can tell you right now that all of my least favorite things will have to do with Ryuji. I think I'm dumb because I don't remember who Shu is for the ShuMako ship😖

3 male characters I love: Ryuji, Akechi, Maruki (it was so hard to do a top three because I also love Mishima and Yusuke so very much)

3 female characters I love: Futaba, Sumire, Ann

3 romantic ships I love:

Honestly, my romantic ships have to be the other phantom thieves with Joker (minus Futaba cause I like them better as siblings, and also minus Morgana for obvious reasons). Idk I just like the dynamic that Joker has with the others.

Joker/Akechi. Look, I found the two of them neat in P5 and then Royal came along with giving Akechi an actual social rank and I really found them neat. But then fucking Robbie Daymond and Xander Mobus had to make a song together as the characters. Enemies to Frenemies (reluctant allies really) to Lovers really hits with them

Sojiro/Wakaba, just listening to when Sojiro would talk about Wakaba and then seeing the alternative ending with Royal and how Sojiro is there... I absolutely loved them.

3 platonic dynamics I love:

Ann/Shiho (I wish there was more. Thank god for Royal having some moments, but I wanted to visit Shiho in the hospital with Ann or something)

Ryuji/Ann (tbh I love their best friend energy they have going on. Not a single braincell between them and I love it)

Sojiro/Futaba/Joker. I'm sorry but good adoptive father/daughter relationships feel so hard to find and I just love that family so much. It's the found family dynamic too ngl

Honorable mention - Futaba/Yusuke. They're idiots and I love their friendship

3 favorite moments in canon:

Saving Futaba and her learning the truth (honestly her whole arc) was just so amazing. It was so heartbreaking, but so satisfying to be able to help her.

The alternative ending for Royal is a favorite because it's unbelievably bittersweet. Like you should feel happy when you see it. You should think that it's the right choice because everyone got their happy ending, but it's just so heartwrenching and I love it so so much (I cry every damn time I see it).

Every Persona awakening was just amazing to watch. Oh my god and Akechi's "second" persona reveal? It's so amazing and I wish I could watch it all again like I've never seen it before because damn it was so cool.

3 favorite headcanons:

Yusuke ended up taking interest once when Ann and Haru were showing Makoto and Futaba how to paint their nails. Yusuke stated that the girls could do better and then gave them beautiful nail art (he did get a bit thrown off when Futaba wanted nails specific to the Kamen Riders, but he did it).

Ryuji, Mishima, and Joker all just crowded around that gatcha machine in Akihabara or in the Arcade trying to get specific figures and dolls. Mishima and Ryuji taking turns and failing and then Joker, with max stats being smug because obviously he can do it and then he fails too. They eventually suck up their pride and beg Shinya to win them the Jack Frost doll.

Ann visiting Shiho for regular meet ups and telling her all about the new friends she made. Sometimes Ann brings mini paintings that Yusuke drew or anime character stickers that Futaba had extras for. Shiho hasn't met these people, but Ann talks highly about Shiho to them so they all want to give the girl little presents. It is very exciting when Shiho is finally introduced to Ann's new friends. Shiho is very proud of Ann for the happiness she managed to find.

3 least favorite things about it:

Oh fucking boy I hated all the crap Ryuji got. He's such a good best friend, he sacrificed his life! And instead of the "Oh my god, I'm so happy you're okay!" that he deserved, he was pummeled for comedic effect?? Fuck you Atlas.

Again, with Ryuji, specifically with how he was treated by Morgana throughout the entire game. And then when Ryuji stood up for himself, Morgana was suddenly the victim?? Haru didn't even get her own spotlight because of this little shit.

And hey, another least favorite that ties in with the others. Fucking Haru. She was in her dad's goddamn palace. She was trying to fix things so she could have her dad back. It should've been emotional and it should've made us attached and love Haru. But honestly, I was mostly frustrated with the palace and dealing with Morgana that when Haru's dad died it was just an "Oh no! Anyway..." moment where I moved on so quickly. Thank god for Strikers helping me actually appreciate Haru more.

Okay so I'm seeing a dozen different au's of omori and I ended up kinda brainstorming one in the shower and Ima just throw it out there because why not.

This does contain kind of Omori spoilers so if you haven't finished the game probably best not to read this.

The au is honestly pretty bare bones, it's essentially omoriboy with the plot beats of omori and Scott Pilgrim I guess??? It'll make more sense why I say Scott Pilgrim once I've actually got a good idea of what I'm thinking of but just bear with me.

Okay so the whole plot goes that Mari and Sunny DIDN'T meet any of the faraway friends (at least for now) and the both of them became incredibly reclusive. Mari being Sunny's only real friend and almost parental figure spent almost all her time keeping him safe and comforted, their parents often got into fights and their father as usual in headcanons/au's is absolutely awful berating Mari constantly and Mari having to take blows for Sunny and get into screaming matches to defend him. This pressure alongside the pressure of good grades and such becomes too much for Mary and she either

1. Actually hangs herself which causes their father to finally pack his crap and leave but leaving Sunny alone and feeling guilty (I don't think I'll go down this route unless I can expand upon it enough that it makes sense for Mari to do this as you know suicide is pretty damn serious and I don't want to use it as a dumb plot device)

2. After some sort of fight their Dad leaves but the damage is done as Mari falls into a deep depression and Sunny is left feeling hopeless to helping her as he doesn't know how to and their mother isn't exactly helping (not out of malice but she most likely is struggling severely aswell and doesn't know what to do). Sunny does try to help Mari by going out to get stuff for her, doing activities with her and overall trying to keep her happy however none of these have ever been a permanent fix which leaves Sunny giving up hope over time.

Route 2 seems the most likely as having Mari live is always a neat concept as well as I enjoy the role swap of Mari being Sunny's carer to Sunny trying to be Mari's the best he can.

Okay onto the main boy himself, Sunny. Sunny in this is mentally ALOT better than the original Sunny but still has a lot of issues, fear, anxiety, autism, trauma. It's all there but toned down to where he's able to function a lot better. A majority of his anxiety comes from his crippling loneliness from not having any friends as well as fear over leaving Mari alone for too long. Sunny in this although quiet is a lot more chatty, think about the original Omoriboy for an idea. In this I also imagine that Sunny is in fact the creator of captain SpaceBoy! In this au SpaceBoy is a character Sunny made as a comic to keep him distracted and have a passion project to try and enjoy which he really does!! Also this isn't just a fun detail this is important as Sunny dedicates a lot of time to this comic, moments from Sunny's life directly affect the comic and Sunny submits his comics often to either a local writers group or local competitions; not for prizes but just to share his work. I might tweak the idea of Sunny submitting his comic to local clubs a bit to make it make a little more sense but I plan for Sunny writing captain SpaceBoy to be the main reason he meets a certain someone ;)

That's about as far as I've thought but if I come up with any more ideas I'll share them.

I've got some loose ideas of headspace and the friends but they're not very clear the now.

Also Omori is non existent in this au with Sunny being the one to explore his Dreamworld. He may show up as something else but It's Sunny exploring his dreams in this.

This Au is far more light hearted and comedic than regular Omori as if I do continue with this I want it just to be a silly little thing to play about with. It's still sad but not base game Omori sad. It'll mainly just be Sunny living his life and coming out of his shell and hopefully bringing Mari with him.
