Owl Beast Eda vs. Raven Beast Lilith. I wonder why Lilith's cursed form is so much bigger, and I also wish we'd seen more of it. Unfortunately, I think this is probably the episode where the crew learned Disney had cut the show short. Things are about to start moving fast, and part of that is Lilith's fairly sudden departure from the Owl House at this episode's ending.

When you think about it, Lilith’s beast from is a black raven, and as established they have two meanings—one representing death and bad luck, while the other represents intelligence. When fighting with Eda in beast form, Lilith moved in an anticipation to Eda action as she immediately cut off her flight.

Now I am wondering if the Raven Beast runs on different instincts compared to the Owl Beast. A friend once told me that besides myth with Owls, they aren’t actually very smart as their sense get overwhelmed. Though on the other hand Ravens are very well known to be tricky creatures and can memorize anything. They both animals associated with loving shiny objects and taking them.

I then remembered that Owl—by Greek understanding are associated with intelligence and Athena. Meanwhile, Ravens are associated to spies for Apollo as he used white ravens to spy on his lover, and after it told him that she was unfaithful, he burned the bird causing the white wings to go black.

…There are so many avenues to take raven symbolism. As Owls also represents good luck, wisdom and prosperity. Though like Ravens, Owls are seen as bringers of death and ill will in Africa. I know people have brought up the opposites in name meanings with Eda and Lilith, but on top of the Palismans and Beast forms opposite meanings just is interesting. Someone probably already talked about it, but I just find it curious.

Good morning! Thanks for the request!

This takes place after Eclipse Lake but before Hollow Mind.

Drabble: Aunt Lilith's Fury

Lilith, who took a walk through Bonesborough, couldn't believe what she was seeing! Her beloved nephew Colli was floating next to the Golden Guard! "Did he manipulate Colli to follow him to Belos?" Lilith whispered to herself.

The thought that the celestial boy with otherworldly fluffy lavender hair and a heart of gold possibly was going to suffer again made her so mad that she turned into the Raven Beast. She charged at Hunter.

"AUNT LILITH, NO!" Colli didn't hesitate to immobilize her with his magic to protect his beloved big brother. Colli floated up and pressed with infinite tenderness his forehead against Lilith's. The sweethearted starboy whispered soothing words.

Thankfully, Lilith turned back. "Thank you, Colli." Lilith wrapped her arms around him. "That was a close call!" Hunter chimed in. The blonde boy was still shaken. "Colli, you know that this is the Golden Guard, right?" Lilith asked.

"Yes. But he became my big brother since our encounter at the Eclipse Lake. I can trust him." Colli explained. "Lilith, I swear to The Titan, I don't mean any harm towards Colli! I love him more than anything!" Hunter spoke up.

"Listen up! Should you ever betray Colli's trust, I won't hesitate to shred you down to your last atom!" Lilith glared at the young Golden Guard. "Aunt Lilith, please be nice." The kindhearted starboy chimed in.
