r/FDC on their way to ban me for "white knighting" when I was literally just defending myself and explaining that this subreddit does not help the people they claim to help
“disabled people defending their rights is obviously just white knighting!!!" "if you were a real disabled person, you'd just stfu and listen to your Abled Saviors (TM)"
Genuinely what the fuck in wrong with the people in there. They'd rather fucking die that listen to a disabled person explain that they're wrong. FUCK R/FAKEDISORDERCRINGE

The fact that r/fdc's current pinned post is about how they want you to stop saying "as someone with x diagnosis"???? At this point they aren't even trying to pretend they care about "real mentally ill people".... I mean it was always obvious, but why would they be upset about someone who they deem as a "REAL MENTALLY ILL PERSON" when they "set the facts straight"?
Spoiler: It's because they don't care. They just want to harass people. They just want reddit up votes. Ya know attention? What they accuse us of being obsessed with?

OK SO everyone at syscringe was questioning my plural cartman take so imma explain it, listen up y'all
First thing first, last episode I've watched is s7 e9 so any inaccuracies to after that aren't my fault :p and also ik cartman sucks as a person and I'm not defending his bs in any way or wtv
Gonna get my ass fakeclaimed for this one, but all the playing with toys and giving them voices and stuff. And I wouldn't pluralise a character just for this (like- ik all kids do it-) but it still makes senseish. I think. Idfk.
When kenny possessed him (last few episodes of s6), he just. Acted like 2 people struggling to share a body. Even with tiny voice changes. Just like systems :3 (AND THEY WERE TECHNICALLY PLURAL EVEN IF JUST CUZ OF POSESSION)
In the Jenniffer Lopez episode I know he was faking but holy shit that faking was realistic, mainly taking into account that he even did it when he was by himself (like waking up to Jenniffer's singing). And that's not very singlet of him imo :p
Just remembered the cartmanland episode, yeah it's to show how he's an uncaring asshole, but insisting to have fun only by himself? Idk man sounds like something a system would do (or at least, we've done it so. <-(top things that will make this argument lose points for fakeclaimers but wtv))
Also idk where but I'm pretty sure I saw his opinion on some things change in weird ways- like, strong opinion changes and that stuff. I'm not sure 'bout this one cuz I've watched too many episodes to keep track of everything tho 💀
ANYGAY so this is why I made that shitty post about something I don't even seriously believe in and got into syscringe, hope y'all enjoyed this reading of my reasons for this madness lmfao
If anyone posted it there it would be great uwu

What r/Fakedisordercringe doesn't want you to see.
I came across a post on FDC with a removed comment. Luckily, there's a site called Reveddit that can show you removed comments, like this one:
Tumblr media
This was in response to a post about a system with 14 alters, and that was the official reason given for fakeclaiming.
Tumblr media
Keep in mind, again, plenty of academic papers have documented alter counts in the hundreds. "Polyfragmented" was a term made to describe these high-alter count systems.
And the system in this post had... only 14?
So what "misinformation" was this comment spreading?
Why did the r/FDC mods see it necessary to remove this particular comment?
Oh yeah, it went against the narrative.
...
Als, I haven't been able to find papers specifically into alters dating each others, but this just feels like a case where one could apply even a fraction of common sense. Because it is very well-documented that alters can communicate internally. And guess what? If two individuals can communicate, they can date. (Even if the only communication is writing.)
A lot of DID treatment involves encouraging communications and that means being able to speak with each other. And it's also very well-documented that many systems have inner worlds where their alters can interact internally.
Notably, the uneducated post claiming this would be too complex of an interaction for alters was not deleted.

The amount of posts I have seen over on r/fakedisordercringe that are just "well this person is faking because -literally a perfectly normal & completely possible part of the disorder-!!!" is fucking WILD to me Especially with how often I see people on there claim that the users of the subreddit are "mostly REAL disabled people tired of people faking their disorder"
Like girl if that's true why do so many people on there not seem to have done any sort of research on what normal symptoms of any of these disorders are? 💀

Fuck r/FDC.
Self diagnosis is VALID. Getting a diagnosis can be hard or impossible for some people. Google is free and I believe it’s possible to accurately self diagnose with enough research. Not having a diagnosis won’t make the symptoms go away, they will still be there.
Fuck r/FDC. I am self diagnosed and proud!

r/fdc is so funny because there are posts that have captions like “17yo with a disorder” “40yo? 40 years of faking more like” with a photo of an intro post that literally just says “hi I’m ___ I have ___ and I like ___” and there is no other context for why they’re assumed to be faking.
These people are genuinely posting “this person has a disorder so they are FAKING”. Who the fuck does have the disorder then Jeremy???? Can you name a single person????Are you having an existential crisis over whether disorders exist????
Quality entertainment if you’re stable enough. Look after yourselves <3

r/FDC sucks
I have a small rant about r/FDC that I needed to post on here. This is to all the disabled/mentally ill/neurodivergent people who post on r/FDC. You all loathe yourselves and it SHOWS. Anytime someone talks about how ableist and annoying r/FDC is, I see so many comments say things like "ACTUALLY mentally ill people hate fakers and hate themselves!" or "people who actually have said disorder are absolutely miserable and suffering immensely" Like that's just projection. Look, I don't like my mental illness. Nobody does. But there are some things that you can't change. People on r/FDC will get mad at any minor who have multiple disorders and/or post about it. God forbid someone accept themselves and TRY to bring some positive light on their disorders. And this is coming from someone who used to religiously scroll through r/FDC because I hated myself and my disorder so much that I resented the people who could post about their disorder in positive ways. Also, there are so many people on r/FDC who use their disability to say they aren't ableist. You can be disabled AND be ableist.
That's all

Sorry for the lacks of posts from us, I had a big post planned in drafts yesterday but I'll just post this one here right now

How exactly would "mommy" immediately jump to the conclusion that their child is supposedly faking being a system?
It would be much more likely for their mom to either express concern over a change in behavior or possibly be upset at them for acting differnt (ie: "why are you being so childish?" Or something similar)
Also how exactly do you (at op) know that they're faking? Is it because they're on tiktok? Because they're a teen (mentioned in the comments), pale (not assuming their race but they're pale skinned), and somewhat feminine looking (not showing their face due to trying to keep them anonymous)??
Or do you (still at op) just doubt anyone who says that they're a system?

We got posted on r/fdc let’s discuss.
So we knew this was going to happen, and rather then being sad about this, we’d like to point out flaws in the arguments. Obviously warning for fake claiming.
also warnings for: talks about trauma and abuse, splitting, mental health episodes, psyche wards, ableism, making a joke out of exorcisms.
Tumblr media
First off, “disorder salad” on that introduction post we only talked about things we were medically recognized as having or diagnosed with. Also the “it’s always the anime ones” it’s a picrew? A lot of Picrews are in a anime style, and if you go to Louise’s actual alter intro she uses not just picrews.
Tumblr media
This one is just making fun of us. I don’t think we have ever fully posted why we are so connected to the character, but I’ll explain now. So when we were little we went through a lot of abuse and trauma. We had a lot of DVDs and a couple were CareBears. And we felt safe when we watched silly little characters like that. It brought us relief. We aren’t sure why we are so attached to Swift Heart specifically, but we have a little who is obsessed with the color blue and rabbits that formed around that time. We even own the original 80s plush which we found thrifting and means so much to us, plus a few other things of the character. We named our system this, not only because it represents our trauma, but also it represents safety, a light in the dark.
Tumblr media
When did we self diagnose???? Also in that post we state that we intend to talk about the bad sides. We don’t think this is fun. Yes we portray ourselves a certain way, but we actually have constant flashbacks, panic attacks, and BPD episodes. It’s sometimes a daily thing. For around 2-3 weeks we would split at least once a day. We don’t think thats fun. But also sometimes you can enjoy life and enjoy being plural. When you live like this you learn to enjoy what you have and what you are living with. If we didn’t we wouldn’t survive. How parasocial do you have to be to think A TUMBLR ACCOUNT shows how we are 24/7.
Going back to the Self Diagnosis thing, We were being treated for DID before anyone put a label on it. We were talked to about “how when someone has many parts of them, sometimes fusion can help them feel more whole.” And asked when dissociating and acting strange who we were regularly asked who we where. When we we’re 15, we had gone to the Psyche ward for the 2nd time, and they couldn’t diagnose us, because of our age at the time, but they strongly suggested we get tested for it when we were old enough. And to get them to recommend anything, they have to talk to all the therapists, doctors, and psychologists, especially the ones who work with you. It’s been years since then, and guess what? We still have DID!
Finally the last claim out of the first comment, the Sub-System thing, that wasn’t in the original post, and I’m unaware who edited it in, but the reason we are confused if they are a subsystem, is because they are plural as it’s where dormant alters are stored. They speak as one and it’s quite strange. Not sure how to explain it.
Okay, comment 2:
The difference between DID and OSDD-1 in the DSM-5 is it’s nearly DID but isn’t quite. (Bad explanation, but these people need simple explanations) often times, it’s the alters are not distinct enough from the host, or a lack of blackout amnesia. This isn’t always the case but that’s what they were referring to. Also have you read the DSM-5’s entry on DID and OSDD-1?.. We have, many times actually. Guess what? it’s purposefully vague FOR A REASON. Because disorders are complex and wouldn’t be able to fit everyone if it was to specific.
Tumblr media
This is just ableism. We have been told this by people and our life (luckily nothing was done), and we have heard stories about systems going through this. This stuff is incredibly traumatizing to the people who go through it. This kind of rhetoric being treated as a joke is disgusting.
Tumblr media
We aren’t online everyday (also you, the person who commented this, have posted 10 times in the last 11 hours)
The stuff we are “faking” are often co-morbid with DID?!?!
Tumblr media
I’m pretty sure this comment is trying to be like “they are doing it for attention to deal with their trauma that’s so sad 🥺🥺🥺”
If that’s the case, you are adding onto the problem
if you believe us and feel bad for us, thanks, but posting it on that subreddit just boost the post which can lead to harassment.
Tumblr media
That’s literally the words that was told to us. By our former therapist. We believe it’s C-PTSD, but we put that instead of that because some reason we struggle to believe we have PTSD more then we do DID at this point.
Anyway, yeah, we’d thought we debunk/explain why the argument they have is stupid, they have a platform, but so do we.
