reading some of the comments from your "sansa and arya are their own characters" post that supposed sansa fans are going irate over, and omg!
first it's sansa is ned 2.0 and arya is cat 2.0, but now we've got "only jon has any meaningful connection to lyanna" they're are absolutely obsessed with making sure everyone perceive these characters as the one-dimensional tropes as they do🤣🤣🤣
finger-wagging arya fans about how they're soooooo above the stark sisters drama (yet suspiciously have to mention their (1) sansa/lyanna pleading connection lol) and then coming in cold with fourth grade reading level analysis and getting affronted when no one's mind is blown by it.
All I can do is laugh cause they literally couldn't make a single cohesive, consistent point if their lives depended on it. They just throw out whatever fanon is most popular that week in their echo chambers and pray they don't have any run-ins with canon lol. That person was such a clown for jumping into the comment with "Uhhhh Ned actually compares Lyanna and Sansa so" like it was a gotcha and then pretending they don't care about the "fanom drama" once they got corrected. Same thing with the rest of the circus in my replies; I ask them for books quotes to support their claims, it's crickets. I ask that person why they even commented on my post if they were so above fandom drama, it's crickets. They're so used to acting like they own the fandom that they can't handle the slightest pushback (or even seeing a post they disagree with 😂). That's why they block and repost screenshots instead of actually engaging or jumping on posts in pairs, they're scared of people calling out their nonsense.

[ A/N: These are based on my opinion, standards, and experiences only. The writers in this blog are those whose blogs I read religiously. I weirdly have a high standard on what fics I can read without cringing and these writers are the ones on the top of my list. This is also for those new readers that are still kinda confused about where to start and where they can find writers with extensive and quality master lists. This is a continuously growing list and I will add more when I encounter others.]

@littlefreya - "The Eve"
When I was lost and new to the Henry Cavill fandom it was her stories that were the final nail to my coffin that will bury me 6 feet under the fandom. Her master list is everything and more -- smut, ddlg, dark, fluff, domestic -- whatever you want it's there.
@onsunnyside - "My Sofia Coppola"
Sofia Coppola is my favorite director when it comes to imagery and aesthetics -- that is why I consider Sunny as my Sofia because I SWEAR the first time I read Tarzan!Steve fic it was like a movie and none of her stories have ever disappointed me. I still can't believe I read her stories for free.
@evansbby - "New York Times"
I've said it once and I'll repeat it, I check her blog every day like it's the morning news. I am so obsessed with her stories it is unhealthy. She writes the most delicious and varied Chris Evans and characters fics which makes it exciting but also comforting at the same time because at the end of the day -- they're all daddy.
@kinanabinks - "Spicy Shakespeare"
I actually took a lot of inspiration from her in one of my series -- she is that good. She writes the most delicious smut with the perfect splash of angst, tragedy, drama, and smut that will satisfy that itch in your head when you're looking for a bit of drama in your p*rn.
@comfortcap - "Guilty Comfort"
My daddy issues FLARE TF UP when I'm reading any of her (ddlg) fics. Such a sweet writer with the sweetest, fluffiest, and sometimes smuttiest fics that makes me feel guilty and comforted at the same time ;3 I love reading her stuff after a long and overwhelming day.
@junipermuses - "Lizzy Grant"
Lizzy Grant -- aka Lana del Ray -- is how I imagine her fics would be if it was a person. Sexy, effortlessly cool, and so put together. The subtle but easy-to-digest plots builds up the smut so much that it's so satisfying to watch it all unravel in the end.
@buckycuddlebuddy - "hey god ... me again"
Her fics immerse me so much that she has me giggling and kicking my feet as I read them. She is one of the few "x reader" fic writers that makes me want to cry and scream and beg whichever god is listening to move me in the alternate reality where I am the "reader" / main character in her story.
@sillyrabbit81 - "Mother Nature Called"
I swear every time I'm on my period you will find me vicariously scrolling through her master list because the way she writes the daddies (ESPECIALLY SY) are so comforting, dominant, and caring that it just turns my heart, womb, and coochie into mush.
@angrythingstarlight - "Pandora's Box"
Once you open her master list you will read nothing but her works for days (trust me I've been there) . She has an extensive collection of works that are a top quality. Her works can range from sweet to downright nasty to the fluffiest domestic scenarios that will have you grinning at your screen at 3 am.
@hansensgirl - "The Witch"
I forget feminism when I'm reading her works. I cannot believe I'm giggling over a man bossing me over and controlling my entire life?! And she somehow makes it work and that's how I've come to the theory that she pulls some witchcraft shit when she writes her stories but hey ... I'm not complaining.
@pellucid-constellations - "All Too Well (10 minute version)"
She writes the BEST angst and that's coming from me whose comfort film is "Love, Rosie". If you're looking for a well-developed plot, characters, and story arcs that end with a lot of groveling, comfort, and a happy ending -- look no further.

Toby and jeff were the main victims of the traps
Another prank they did was that they asked cody to make seditaives and they put them in everyones food and drinks
Twitter warriors. They will (spesfically ben) will go to the most insane lengths when it comes to defending their faves and just pissing people off
Kage helps him come up with the most VILE insults and ben already has the most damaging insults so them together could probably make someone cry or bully a kpop stan into retirement
They think it’s funny to tell people to off themselves

Ben made the sonic.exe creepypasta game and kage helped with the text in the game
Ben is a hatsune miku stan and kage is a gumi stan
They have matching hello kitty pajamas
Kage is the only one who has seen the inside of ben’s room (unwillingly) and despite him having a whole ass room to himself they basically live togther

Overall? They’re made for each other, if they could care for other people romantically (which I think they’re both too much of self-centered assholes to do so) they would probably be married, actually they probably are for tax benefits.

Thinking about modern au artist HC who excels at various traditional art forms including ceramics, painting, and sculpting. Soon enough, the time comes for HC to learn the witchcraft that is digital art.
And man is it a phat STRUGGLE.

Hi, I'm new to this fandom and saw about your stand against Jiang Cheng and I'm genuinely curious, could I ask you why do you hate the character so much? I'm genuinely curious.
Hello! Welcome to the MDZS fandom! It’s a really interesting place to be.
I do think you are perhaps misunderstanding my fight, and it’s understandable, there’s a lot of history behind it. But I don’t actually hate Jiang Cheng the book character at all.
He’s a fantastic antagonist, one who has enough happen to him that he’s understandable without justifying his actions. His anger and bitterness make him incredibly active, which can help move the plot along well, and the fact that he is also Wei Wuxian’s personal antagonist makes him very fun and relevant as you need the antagonists that can make a character hurt personally for stories of this type.
As his general character archetype, I think he’s done really well. I quite enjoy him in the context he is supposed to be seen as, the younger person who grew up with the hero who instead of attempting to better himself, tore down those around him in an attempt to put everyone on the same level.
My problem (and my fight) is that the character of Jiang Cheng in Modaozushi is not the Jiang Cheng that is in the fanfics and the art and the meta and discussions.
The Jiang Cheng that you see in fanfics and metas that isn’t under the Not JC Friendly on Ao3 or #canon jiang cheng tag on tumblr is one that is no longer an antagonist or in character, but someone else entirely. Someone who no longer slots into the world of MDZS as if he were actually the person they posit him to be, the events that he is responsible for would have never happened. Quite simply they take the character I enjoy, erase all of his actual traits and then show up to scream at me for writing him wrong, or lying about the book, or not knowing how to read.
Or they are gleefully celebrating classism and homophobia with him. I can’t tell you how many posts I’ve seen that are basically “he’s right to be homophobic because Wangxian are annoying and he should hate them for that”. In a danmei fandom. About the lead couple. I already have dealt with more than enough homophobia in my daily life, why do I have to deal with it in a fandom for a novel in which the leads are a happily married queer couple?
I have been in this fandom for a year and a half. I tag my posts appropriately. When I was requested to not put character hate in the main tag (and novel quotes qualified as character hate), I did as they asked and invented my own tag. Sure it’s a little snarky, but it’s also an easy one to block and allows others like myself who enjoy the character as he is in the book to find my stuff. On ao3, I’ve written a few fics that use him in it as he is in the book and tagged it not for JC fans as they requested.
Do you know what I got?
I have anon hate for using my tag, the very tag I created in response to their request. On my fics that use him, I have people showing up to cry that he’s out of character and I can’t write. When I did all that I could do to try and enjoy a character as he is in canon and as they continually say is what they want. “You don’t have to like him, just tag your stuff so we don’t have to see it.”
I do stand against his stans. I have blocked many of them and gotten in arguments with many others. You are new to this fandom so you wouldn’t have seen this, but a year ago one of them wrote a fanfic about Lan Wangji murdering Wei Wuxian because they were mad about the very existence of the not for jc fans tag, and tagged it with romance and fluff tags so that fans of wangxian would click on it and read a horrible, deliberately hurtful fic and gleefully celebrated it on Twitter.
Why should I not stand against them? They have bullied so many people out of this fandom for not writing Jiang Cheng in the way they want. That is not okay. This is a massive fandom in places where it is very easy to filter and tag, and they try to bully and chase us out of the whole fandom because we don’t like their made up version of a character, or the fact that they are homophobic and shitty to the leads and to me and my friends and my followers.
Welcome to Modaozushi fandom, new reader. It’s a very volatile place with a long history. This is my section of it. And that is why I tag with canon jiang cheng and do not take any shit from people who have umbrage with that.

Hello again, Darling. I'm glad you're okay with that. But, again, if you are not pleased or not interested, everything is fine, just refuse.
You are in an established relationship with Homelander. You never show up with him at events, but, literally, the whole country knows, that his strongest supe has a girlfriend without powers. You are known by sight only in the Tower. And Homelander himself "protects" you from all this. He's not an obsessive possessive creep, no. How could you think that, no. He's just caring. And he is not suffocates you with his perverted notion of love, of course not. You are not under his eternal control, and he has not scared away your entire environment from you. Of course not, you're just imagining it.
In general, you are not so unhappy with him in a relationship. At times, he's very passable, even cute. Well, you youself, almost voluntarily, agreed to his offer to be together. You know, he's a monster, but, you almost feel sorry for him..? You're already used to him. You don't think it's Stockholm Syndrome, rather you've just always seen a little bit of good in Homelander. Well, probably yes, you probably love him. At least, that's what you think.
You have a pretty reliable, happy relationship. That's what he always thought. But after lunch, almost everyone in the building is kind of tense, and cautiously squint at him. And then, poor Ashley asks him to sit down and informs him, that you are no longer with them. That you're gone. And you did it to yourself. No note, no explanation, nothing. And that there was no way to save you.
But Homelander saw you this morning. You didn't cry, you didn't say stupid things. Everything was fine. You even kissed him goodbye. No, of course he knew, that you had such problems in the past, but he thought you were lying.
And what should he do now? How to react? What should he think now, how to live on?

Ashley’s stuttering voice seemed to disappear into the background as he looked out of the window, jaw clenched. He heard everything. The voices, heartbeats, breathes of everyone in the city below him. He could hear the lives of everyone.
Apart from the one person he wanted to hear.
“-sorry.”
“What?”
He looked over his shoulder at Ashley who cringed back. He turned around so he was facing her fully and took a measure stepped towards her. Ashley staggered back on her heels, terror crossing her face.
“What. Did. You. Say.” Said Homelander
“That… that.”
“Yes?”
“We’re all so sorr-“
Ashley didn’t get to finish her sentence before Homelander’s hand clenched around her throat. He slammed her against the wall, smirking at the slight crunch of her ribs. Ashley clawed at his hand and he took a step closer, squeezing harshly. He closed his eyes and shuddered as Ashley’s nail dug into his hand and when he opened his eyes they were glowing red.
“Your heart is racing,” he said quietly, “Tends to happen when people are lying.”
“I-“ Ashley managed to choke out
“I don’t like it when people lie to me, Ashley.”
“Not-“
“Why are you lying to me Ashley? Why are you keeping her from me.”
“Put Ashley down.”
The calm voice of Stan cut through the tension. Homelander looked over at him, eyes still glowing red. Stan raised an eyebrow and after a second Homelander let go of Ashley. She fell to the ground, gasping in deep breaths of air.
“Ashley, I need to speak to Homelander. Alone.”
Ashley staggered to her feet and scuttled out of the room. Neither Stan nor Homelander spoke. Homelander walked back over to the window and said,
“Where is she.”
“Y/n is gone.”
“I want her back.”
“She’s dead.”
“She can’t be.”
“She is.”
“She promised that she’d always be there with me,” Homelander said, his voice shaking just slightly, “She promised. She was there with e this morning. She was happy. Why would she do this to me?”
“I think you know the answer to that.”
“We were happy.”
“You kept her locked up.”
“She’s human. She’s weak. She needs me to look after her, to protect her.”
“She was human,” Stan corrected coldly, “But she wasn’t weak.”
Homelander spun around to glare at Stan, eye glowing red. Stan didn’t flinch away and Homelander said,
“I love her.”
“As much as you are capable of loving anyone,” said Stan, “We’re already working on a story. I don’t believe that you’d want the public knowing that the girlfriend of America’s greatest superhero killed herself. Some of sort tragic, sudden illness I think.”
“Fiancé,” said Homelander, “Tell them y/n is, was, my fiancé.”
“Was she?”
“Eventually she would be.”
“Very well. I’ll tell the press office.”
As Stan left the room Maeve entered it. She pursed her lips as she remained by the door, not wanting to get any closer than necessary.
“I’m sorry,” she said, “About y/n.”
“You really mean that,” said Homelander, “You’re the first person who has genuinely meant that. Why?”
“Simple,” Maeve grimaced before fixing Homelander with a harsh glare, “She was too good for you.”

just a psa/personal rant?? not really a rant but
i wanted to talk about a few things, and i think the cleanest and easiest segue is to say: i have left all of my writing networks. it is 100% nothing personal to any of them, i have enjoyed each and every one, but there are a few reasons why.
one, i am not active in any of the discord servers, so there was ✨anxiety✨ about not contributing and feeling obligated.
two (and this is the segue part): obviously these networks have a big reach, and i am feeling more and more anxious about exposing my work to the masses.
it’s a double-edged sword, because i write what i want and what makes me happy, but there is always a part of me that wants feedback and wants other people to see and enjoy it. but it has been tense here lately and the “please do not perceive me” feelings are REAL.
there is just… no nuance anymore. me posting “i don’t think it was a good decision for jungkook to go to qatar” turned into a bunch of anons calling me islamophobic and a bunch of other stuff. me saying it was a bad look for jimin to feature on a song by a r*pist turned into “you can’t have an opinion because you’re a rap line stan.”
i’m most certainly not perfect. i try to do the right thing. but tumblr has turned into a place where you will get bullied off the site if someone does not like you personally and decides you’re the internet’s villain of the day. you are put into situations you cannot win. if you defend yourself, you’re making excuses. if you don’t, you’re guilty and all those things people accused you of being are true.
it is literally this tweet:
this is not a fandom known for being welcoming of discourse, but we have to be able to give others grace. there has to be nuance. like, we are literally stanning bts, who have done and said and written problematic things. we should not excuse intentionally harmful behavior, but we need to be able to have conversations and believe, to a certain extent, that not everyone behaves in malicious ways.
we all fuck up and will continue to do so. i hope your mistakes are handled with grace and you are given the benefit of the doubt, and i hope you extend that grace when others inevitably make mistakes as well.
i am not involved in drama here. i am 31 years old and too old and tired. i just want to write and cry over seokjin and shitpost with my friends.
i’m sure this has all been said before, but: i was offline at the time everything went down with m (shout-out the fucking car accident i got in on my way to pick up my friends from the airport, why did this seemingly happen to everyone??) but they are someone i have interacted with both here and offline, and how all of that played out was fucked up, to say the least. others have explained it far more eloquently than me, but it bears repeating.
so while i love writing and i love sharing my work, there is a part of me that’s anxious every time i post. including this. i will continue to do so and hope that this site becomes warmer and more welcoming, because i see a lot of posts lamenting writers leaving or deactivating, and i just think: “well, yeah.”
enough has been said about interaction and the like/reblog ratio, which is definitely a huge part. it can be demoralizing to spend so much time and effort writing a fic that gets little interaction. but the environment is a big part, too, and i’m hopeful that can change.
(but also—protect your peace, whatever that means for you. unfollow that person. block that tag. you don’t have to engage with everything, especially if it raises your blood pressure. one of the few good things about the internet is that you’re largely able to curate your experience. don’t feel guilty about taking advantage of that.)
i will finish this by saying: i am always open to having conversations so long as they’re in good faith. it is not anyone’s place to police my behavior, but if i ever do or say something that is not cool, you are more than welcome to address it with me. i encourage you to do so. as flor once said: comfort can’t help me grow up.

Just saw a post in the Jimin tag from a blog called @viathecloset and it's always hilarious to me how Tae stans cry victim the few times that man is threatened and hated on by Jikookers (not that it's right) when Jimin has been getting shīt from Tae stans and Taekookers for literal YEARS. They are really here pretending that most of the Jikookers coming after Tae is pure retaliation for what Taekookers have put Jimin through and still do everyday. They are crying about Tae minding his business and Jikookers still coming for him while they ignore all the times Taekookers have inserted Jimin in their ship when he has nothing to do with it, when we didn't here from him for months and Taekookers would still drag him. Jimin is not the reason your Taehyung and Jungkook aren't fucking either lol. This is just a moment of complete lack of self-awareness and the teapot calling the kettle black.
And when they said the fandom has to call out Jikookers, I laughed. Tell me you're biased without telling me you're biased. The fandom has dedicated their lives to setting Jikookers straight for things they always let slide when it comes to Taekookers. And them talking about "I know the plenty reasons why y'all insecure about Tae" like what are those??? Lmao😭😭.
The one that got me though was when they said "the buddy system isn't romantic, in fact it's proof that what they have is platonic". I love how they sneaked that part in and put emphasis on it because they exposed themselves as a typical Taekooker. All that talk trying to sound neutral only to end up slipping up that you're an undercover cultist.
Have several seats, hypocrite.
I hope you feel lighter after the rant, anon. Now , breathe, lol.

And if taekook did buddy system, they would say that Taekook came out and were brave and fought Hybe. Just like they said the Dream Premier was a 'coming out' and rebelling against Hybe. ☠️ They said the same for the taekook instagram live since Weverse belongs to Hybe and wouldn't let them go live together☠️☠️
But you know what, taekook would never do the buddy system. You know why? It's because taekook never lived with each other (just 2 of them). But you know who did? Jikook.
There is a difference between close friends and family. You visit close friends, you hang out with them, you have fun with them. But with family, you share sentiments, share vulnerable moments and share the bed and the kitchen.

Nocorro fic recs for the noob please? 😂

As I said over dms; unfortunately for you, there are better locorro (and spiri, although I really only rec one hardcore) fics then there are Nocorro. Nocorro is like a desert spot, there really aren’t any aside from a few really short but cool one shots. It's a very small fandom, and it's pretty young right now so tbh most of the fics are not very good, so it'll be a short list anyway. So, as we discussed, here are the high quality, well written Spider ship fics:
For nocorro, there really isn't much. That's why I said I've come so fucking close to writing that ikran au; because I am deeply obsessed with the nocorro parts of it. I adore that au and the ghost neteyam one honestly best of all, but the ghost Neteyam one there is slightly more content for. BUT ANYWAYS;
Upon looking up my list for this I was furious to discover one of the three well written little nocorro one shots has been deleted, so beef begun with CherryApollo (jk queen I need more of them. Actually, a03 user CherryApollo; I know ur reading these posts, or else you wouldn't have tagged that fic nocorro, huh? You said "tumblr has it's claws in me so here's some nocorro" I SEE YOU, I KNOW UR HERE. THERE'S LIKE THREE OF US USING THAT TAG, AND IT'S MOSTLY JUST ME ALONE IN THE VOID. You listen to me. I liked that fucking fic, I had it bookmarked. Give it back to me. But seriously big fan of ur work).
The two remaining fruit themed CherryApollo nocorro oneshots better be your first stop just in case this sociopath decides to take more from me, Take a Bite of the Orange (p sure I was the commenter that took offense mentioned in the notes) and Follow Me Down to the Peach Tree, which did make me want to end it all. Both under 1000 words and worth a quick read.
There is also the ghost of Guilt by thatshowthemafiaworks @undercoverpan who has written us a ghost Spider au which has never failed to make me cry each chapter. The prose is not as flawless as the other recs here, but it packs some emotional weight the others don't. I also can't even fathom where it's going as it all seems entirely hopeless which is why it makes me cry.
The only other nocorro fic I even think is worth a mention is Crop Circles by our bestie @spicymiilk. It's not done and we haven't reached any nocorro yet, but know it's coming and it's good. I get my sticky little fingers in each good Avatar fic writer and I puppeteer the content I want, just look at whats happening here.
For locorro (still a small as hell ship), we can afford to be slightly more picky and I shall give you the best of the best.
Personally I would start with the locorro bible, Bitter by Icandigelvis @oppa86oppa . All of us locorro stans have said this, but this fic started our interest in the ship for most and it caused the cultural revolution of our Spider ship community. This fic still months later lives with me 24/7, and it really is one of THE fics I've ever read of all time. It went righttt into my collection of fics to show to my MFA prof who told me to stop reading fanfiction lol, like seconds after I finished it. Then I put it in the grad school jealousy collection because it's that well formatted.
The Restless Child series by @spicymiilk is a full length novel that will take you a bit lol. I am biased as I do beta it but it's real good. I keep not anticipating turns I should anticipate, but maybe we can convince Andrei to simply let us live for a sec because the fact that it's been like two weeks in universe hit me yesterday while editing and I wanted to fall off an ikran (👀).
There is also, NATURALLY, The Thunder Answered Back by @spicymiilk. This fic crawled up my butt what I can I say. You all got to read my massive post about it, hope u enjoyed that. I was walking back from work today, listening to Back to You by Louis Tomlinson ft Bebe Rexha, in 91 degree heat and it started to thunder and simply pour rain and I was like "I am lIVING The Thunder Answered Back vibes rn, holy fuck." You know it's good writing in general when it gives you a specific vibe. Tbh, that song is that fics vibes, perhaps locorro vibes in general.
I'm only gonna rec one spiri fic for a few reasons. One, because there is a criminal lack of content for them, and two, that fic is worlds above any other spiri fics. I think it's a great starter fic for getting into Spider ships and for getting into spiri in general, just because of how detailed and in depth the world is, my god. It's basically Spider and Kiri pov switches from their childhood up until wayyy past Way of Water and until the end of all conflict with humans. Like any good canon continuation, I disagree with and I agree with a ton of @milesocorro 's interpretation. I don't particularly enjoy the way the conflict concludes, but I really adore the way Quaritch is handled. I said this before to the author, but it's my favorite Quaritch confrontation I've read yet. I have a review up for it while it was still coming out, and I said there I was obsessed with Spider's tsurak and I still fucking am. That's my fav Spider iknimaya sequence too!! Anyways, that's my repeated pitch for Please be kind, please be gentle with me .

I don't understand why the wrote Will being in love with Mike. I genuinely don't get it.

The fact that Mike was only able to give his speech to El at all was only because of Will... It's tragically hilarious and heartbreaking. If I shipped M*leven I would be upset that a third party character had to come in to push them along in the first place. Awful writing from the Duffers.
How dis the duffers think that what they wrote in vol. 2 meant Will’s sexuality was addressed??????

You know, I’m absolutely speechless about this. This makes me think they may kill off Will in the last season cause you know, why not kill of the gay boy. I couldn’t even enjoy the rest of it because of these scenes. What was the point of this???

you are 100% wrong on the kids thing.
Steve is the only character you listed that has canonically interacted with all 7 kids.
Nancy barely interacted with Lucas, Erica and Max.
Robin barely interacted with Lucas.
Steve is the only teen Max gave a letter to.
You cant override the junkyard, and defending the kids from Billy in s2, Max and Lucas are Steve's kids based on that alone.
Erica? You're overlooking Scoops Troop. S3. She is Steve and Robin's. An argument could be had here that Dustin is Steve and Robin's, again because of the Scoops Troop.
The real listing would be El and Will are Jonathans. Not Jancys, Jonathans. Nancy doesn't have any major connection to either of those kids, and very little interaction.
Mike is Nancy's. He's her brother.
Erica and Dustin are Steve and Robins. They didn't break into a Russian base together to get overlooked like that.
Max and Lucas are Steve's.
But, typical Ronance shipper, taking away the canonical interactions and relationships Steve has and trying to give them to Nancy, it just doesn't work.
In canon, Nancy barely cares enough to spend time with her own brother. Why the hell would she suddenly care about all the other kids when it's not an upside down situation.
LMAO okay. First of all, take a deep breath because my post was never this serious and you don’t need to be this mad over headcanons (typical Steve stan getting mad when someone disagrees that Steve is a “mom” to all the kids though)
Okay so not sure why I need to explain my headcanons but here we go.
Steve has barely interacted with Will and El so that barely counts, especially if you’re trying to say Nancy’s barely interacted with some of them.
Nancy hasn’t interacted much with Lucas on the show but it’s literally canon she dressed up as an Elf to help them with their D&D campaign, she’s also known all of the boys for as long as Mike has.
Again, these are headcanons, no one is overriding anything. I forgot about Scoops Troop when I made this tbh, my only reasoning for giving Erica to Nancy was bc I see her looking up to Nancy like Max & El do.
Max has never really had a female role model and she clearly has that with Nancy, she calls her a role model in Runaway Max and also talks about how badass she is. They spend time together in S4 where both Robin and Nancy are protective over her. It’s also canon that Nancy and Max have a friendship, and who was Max‘s second choice to find after Lucas in S4? Nancy. Not Steve. She went to find Nancy before Dustin even.
There’s no need to be an argument because these are my headcanons lmao, but if you feel that defensive about it why don’t you just make your own post? :)
Nancy and Jonathan are literally canon are practically endgame so yeah Will and El are Jancy’s. Again, Nancy has been in Will’s life for a very long time. I reiterate, she used to help them with D&D campaigns. El also obviously looks up to Nancy, you should probably do some research into this.
In canon, Nancy and Mike’s relationship is a lot deeper than what you’re making it seem. You’re literally just looking at things from a surface level.
But again, it’s really not that deep. They’re headcanons.
Not sure what you’re getting at with “Typical Ronance shipper” these are HEADCANONS. You don’t have to agree, but you also don’t have to be so rude about it. There’s plenty of headcanons I disagree with but I just scroll past bc who am I to tell someone their headcanons are wrong?
Also, please do not come into my ask box and mischaracterise Nancy. She very obviously cares about the kids, upside down situation or not, like I’m sorry did you miss the end of season two when she’s sad bc Dustin is crying & getting turned down by girls so she goes over and asks him to dance with her?
Anyways, the main reason I made that post was bc the “mom” Steve thing is probably the cringiest thing in this fandom and it makes me want to put myself in a blender. The GA especially take it too far. And like I said in the tags, I don’t like it when people act as though Nancy & Jonathan don’t do anything when they’ve been there since the beginning and would protect those kids with their life

that whole scene of her getting upset after seeing him dance with someone else then them having their first kiss ugh, and the time they fell asleep together while stargazing 😭😭 just ugh they are too much for me.. i think asftd moved at a much slower pace so it would take longer to get to the yearning but it definitely has so much potential if it ever makes a comeback 🤞🏼

SEABIRD WAS ACTUALLY SM FUN TBH I LOVED WRITING THAT STORY sae actually became one of my favs just because of it i literally did not even care about him before but he’s so funny and romantic and dumb in seabird that he grew on me heavily 😫 but peregrine actually is everything to me atm which is insane considering i typically hate stories set in modern times…i think the nonlinear set up is one of my fav parts about it because now that we’re finally getting to the chapters about them in high school it will be so much worse knowing how they will inevitably end up. like it’s a story you cannot change no matter how hard you root for them yk???
