Okay! To my knowledge, these are all relatively positive people that have never given me a reason to think about unfollowing, and their stories have some great world-building that I enjoy. I don't know how different some of their fics are from mine because I do tend to gravitate to similar people 😅

Some of these are inactive but should still give you hours of content. Also, some of these are very popular creators so you might already know them, but I've gone through everyone I've followed since I became an Army so this is all I've got 😂

@floralseokjin- Plenty to get through. A lot of long fics. I feel like maybe you can tell by the name but a lot of Jinnie x reader. Also has AO3 linked in Navi

@stutterfly - No longer active? But might be a good archive for you to go back and look through?

@4joonkookie - Sensing a theme here... a lot of joon and kookie some other stuff thrown in. Short but spicy reads.

@stillthecozywhaleshark - This author sadly lost access to her main account a couple years back so I will link to that masterlist here as well. Short reads, fun for a fic speed run.

@purpleyoonn- some great polyamorous content, a lot of long stories

@taleasnewastime - A variety of fics in different lengths, also has Ao3 good variety between each member too

@you-are-my-joy - Innactive? But return of an empress had me on the edge of my seat as it was coming out. It's a polyamoury piece/reverse harem and it has an amazing plot that would not be out of place in today's best sellers.

@jiminisnotavirgin - not a regular poster but some good works to revisit

@rmnamjoons- The bodyguard is to this day one of the best Namjoon x reader fics I've read

@btsmosphere- Always has good aesthetics to go along with their stories with plenty of different scenes going on.

@thirstybtsthoughts - Not so much fics but some great thought patterns go on.

@joheunsaram - A lot of work ongoing, but you can't go wrong with the stuff they have already done.

@wwilloww - Her sh. series based on in the soop (loosely) is so cute, ot7 hobi focus.

@sahmfanficbts - lots of Namjoon with some others thrown in on occasion

@ladyartemesia- Recently resurfaced, so friendly. I love her kim Taehyung fic "All I Want for Christmas is You"

@xjoonchildx- I recommend "Airplane pt 2"

Okay so this is the 2nd year of me doing this (but this year I wont delete) butttt I show my top 10 fic and authors for each member/group( some members of bts repeat due to the amount of poly fics I read and its what I mainly read) (A handful of these have smut so heres your warning)

10. @guqwrvte Make it Three (Jungkook, Jimin and Taehyung)

Oh where do I start with this fic I found it in the spring looking for a Soulmate fic and oh boy I was in for a ride THREE SOULMATES?! ummm YES and the arcade chapter was ABSOULELY AMAZING! I hope you're doing well Author!! as this fic hasn't been updated in a while

9. @yonkimint Without You (Yoongi with a side of Hoseok or "Jay")

OHHHH BOY When I wanted a love triangle I WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED I found this fic in April looking for angst and ANGST I GOT without spoiling it its a Pregnancy/ Single Mom AU and one of the best ones Ive read in a longgggg time

8. @guksthighs Bloom (Yoongi)

OH BOY This is a recent one actually. This one shot was made SIX YEARS AGO?! OMG Hanahaki AUs are one of my favorites angst type of fics so when I read this I literally sobbed like a baby I cant say much else without spoiling it

7. @kimnjss cyberslut (Yoongi), less of you/VINTAGE (Jimin), Strawberry Kisses(Jungkook)

MISS HAS ALWAYS BEEN ONE OF MY FAVES SINCE 2019 like when I first read beside you YESS I reread Cyberslut and HAD to include it but reading less of you in June as I was dealing with my own breakup it was a tear jerker towards the end of less of you, for me I wont spoil it but there a plot twist that I was not expecting towards the end of the sequel, Vintage. BUT STRAWBERRY KISSES OH MY GAHD I read that on my way home in August even though its a SMUTTY I enjoyed it a lot and the FLUFF I think some people looked at me crazy when I took the bus home that day

6. @skazoo if you tell me about yourself( Stray Kids' Felix)

Okay here me out! Demon Slayer. Its one of my favorite manga and anime series and with CHANBIN as a hashira UMMM YES ynand chanbin are literally Genya and Sanemi if Genya was a girl and not YK (demon slayer spoiler!!) eating demons, but this 2 parter was ABSOULTELY AMAZING

Hello my dear!! And the weekend is going well!! My gf had a stressful week at work but it all turned out okay and I've been finding writing a little easier as we go!

Also thank you for asking! I think I did post something a loooong time ago and I literally cannot find it anywhere nor do I remember what I put on there, so I'd be happy to make another!

I will preface this by saying I am going to miss a ton of writers, bc I'm doing this one real quick and I'm quite dumb lmaoo I hope to make a whole fic rec blog but I keep getting busy :( so this list is not all-inclusive but just what comes to mind and I encourage y'all to recommend me stuff too!!

The bulk of this list is just going to be authors whose masterlist I plow through regularly but if I have a specific series of theirs I like the most I will try to link it! (Also sorry to anyone Tumblr doesn't let me tag correctly!)

I'm also lucky enough to have a lot of people on this list as mutuals which I'm super thankful for!! I appreciate all of you (mutuals or not) so much for sharing your talents in the form of beautiful works!

@purpleyoonn is someone I just started reading from and Petrichor is nothing short of life-changing!! I'm making my way through her masterlist rn and ugh I LOVE IT

@bebejungkook is also someone I just started reading from and the talent!!

@jjungkookislife is someone I rediscovered and they are unbelievably talented also their new series Envolver has me by the throat lmao

@minniepetals my OT7 queen!! Not only is she super sweet she's super great at making you fall in love with all the characters she writes!! I cannot pick a fav series it's like picking a fav child lmao

@btsydtrash is another talented writer that I cannot pick a fav series for because OH MY GOD she is so talented I love her whole masterlist

@chummywchimmy I have reread both parts of Toska several times it is foul how much I love it!

@jiminiesfavouritecolourisblue you all already know how much I love Blue, it is and will continue to be soulmate behavior the way all of their fics have me in a chokehold! I just finished their Office hybrid au and am salivating for the third part but their whole masterlist has me on my KNEES

omg so the first one that I’m currently like 7 chapters into is

Euphoria by @badassbangtanbabe on ao3. It starts as a jk fic but then becomes a poly with bangtan according to the tags! It’s part one of two and is finished with 344,635 words and the second part is almost as long!

The second is 사람 (people) by @liltove on ao3 as well! It’s a yoongi soulmate fic and omg I read it all in one sitting. At one point I had to like throw it at my pillow because I was giggling too much! It’s incomplete with 32 chapters and 84,139 words so far! It’s full of fluff and omg yoongi is so sweet and understanding in this.

Seokjin cracked yet another joke making your son giggle. You shook your head and scolded the both of them, they needed to stop playing around and eat. You son pouted and Seokjin was quick to offer him a piece of pickled radish on top of gimbap. After that, your son kept steal pieces of food from Seokjin’s plate and Seokjin acted like he didn’t notice. You rolled your eyes and told your son to eat his own food to which Seokjin told you to look behind you. You knew what he was going to do but you still turned your head, nonetheless. When you turned back around, your son’s plate was almost empty while Seokjin’s was back to being full.

“You finished all that food? Wow! I think it’s time for some treats!” *cue ridiculous amount of winking*

You stared at your phone with a frown on your face. It was a little after 7 am on a Thursday and you were woken up by music, loud music. Sucking your teeth, you set your phone on the nightstand and roll out of bed. It’s no use in trying to go back to sleep, once you’re up, you’re up for the day. Stretching your arms over your head, you untie the silk scarf from around your head and drop it onto your pillow.

“Guess I’m up,” you grumble to yourself as you strip of your pajamas and make your way over to the closet. You dig around for a simple outfit, a green Fila sweat suit. Throwing that on, you head out the room and walk down the hall to find your boyfriend of four years, dancing around the living room while he cleans with a vacuum in his hands. Seeing movement from the corner of his eyes, Mingi is quick to straighten up and turn around.

“Morning, babe!” Mingi smiles sweetly and his face flushes when you walk over and press a kiss to his cheek. “There’s some hot water on the stove, if you want tea.”

You nod your head at Mingi’s words and shuffle off into the kitchen. You stop dead in your tracks when you see the state of the kitchen. Dishes are everywhere and the amount of food on the counter tops is worrisome; you wonder if Mingi even ate. Taking a deep breath through your nose, you push your sleeves up to your elbows and head over to the sink. Moving a few dishes around, you turn on the water and get to work on washing most of the dishes before you turn your attention to the counter tops.

A little while later Mingi walks into the kitchen and grins, “Thank you babe. I really didn’t feel like cleaning all that.” Mingi kisses your temple and you raise an eyebrow. “What?”

“You would think after all these years, I would be numb to this,” you answer Mingi’s question and he looks so confused.

“What are you talking about?” Mingi wraps his arms around your waist and watches over your shoulder as you continue to wash the dishes.

“Hmm? You.”

“Me?” Mingi tilts his head to the side, not understanding where this is going.

You pull your hands from the soapy water and dry them on the towel beside you before you gently place your hands on top of Mingi’s. You push his hands off your waist and turn around so that the two of you are talking face to face. “You don’t show the same amount of consideration for me that I give you.”

Mingi is offended and the shift in his mood is clear in the rough tone of his voice as he narrows his eyes. “That’s bullshit.”

“Is it?” You’re quick to snap back and Mingi nods his head. He has always been considerate of you once the two of you started to live together.

“Yeah, it is.” Mingi crosses his arms over his chest and you shake your head.

Carefully, you look into Mingi’s eyes and you can see the hurt your words have caused. “I don’t want to fight Mingi. Forget I said anything...”

“Y/N?” Mingi sighs and quickly pulls you into his arms, pressing a million little kisses to the top of your head. “We’re not fighting, I promise. Say whatever is on your mind.” You bite your lip and debate if you should continue this conversation or not. “Come on. I promise I’m okay. I want to hear your worries.”

You cave at Mingi’s words and question him. “When was the last time you got woken up while trying to sleep in?”

“Huh?” Mingi laughs at your question. “I never get woken up…”

“Oh?” You stare up at Mingi and raise your eyebrow. “Ask me the same question.” Mingi raises his eyebrow as well and you roll your eyes. “Go head, ask.”

Mingi clicks his tongue, “Okay…When was the last time you didn’t get waken up early?”

You reach up and cup the side of Mingi’s face in your hand before you answer with a smile on your face. “Before I moved in with you four months ago.” Mingi opens his mouth to protest, but you are quick to cut him off. “I’m off Wednesdays and Thursdays, right?”

“Yeah...”

“You work those days, right?”

“Yeah. I’m off on the weekends.”

You nod your head, agreeing with Mingi’s answer. “Do you know how loud you are in the mornings? You don’t even try to keep quite.”

You can see the wheels turning in Mingi’s mind and his eyes widen. Staring down at you in horror, Mingi tightens his hold on you.

“I am so so sorry, baby!” Mingi pulls away from you and runs a hand through his hair as he starts to go over his daily routine. “I did the something today...Fuck!” Mingi starts to mutter to himself and you are quick to press your lips to his, silencing his negative thoughts. Mingi kisses you back slowly and he moans into the kiss when you fists his shirt in your hands. Mingi’s hands cup your ass and he lifts you up, forcing your legs to wrap around his waist. “C-can you forgive me?” Mingi trials his lips down the length of your throat and you nod your head.

“You’re already forgiven.”

Mark

You wanted to surprise Mark with a little treat since he took you with him to Fashion Week in Paris. You snuck out while he was busy with his friends and found the cuties little green number. You made sure that Mark would be busy for a while longer, so you had enough time to get yourself ready for the night. A simple black robe was all that hid your surprise and when Mark walked into the bedroom he smiled at you as you sat in front of the vanity putting clear lip gloss on.

“What are you getting all dolled up for?” Mark walked over and placed his hands on your shoulders, gently messaging the muscles as he peered at you in the mirror. “Mmm...baby you smell good.” Mark slid his hands around to the front of your neck and tilted your head up. “What are you up to baby?” Mark’s thumb tranced small circles over your jugular and you smirked up at him.

“Why don’t you find out?” You challenged and Mark tisked lightly as he tightened his grip around your throat.

“Get up, baby. Show me what you’re hiding.” Standing with the help of Mark’s steady hand, you step around the chair and he quirks an eyebrow seeing your black heels for the first time. “Oh? Am I getting a treat tonight?”

Jaebeom

“Why is it so dark in here?” Jaebeom walks into the apartment and looks around at all the candles lighting up the living room. He doesn’t remember hearing about a power outage, and he knows for a fact that he paid the electric bill on time this month. Just as Jaebeom opens his mouth to call your name the sound of music catches his attention. Taking his shoes off, Jaebeom makes note to keep an eye out for the cats as he walks towards the bedroom where the music is coming from. Knocking on the bedroom door, Jaebeom pokes his head in, and he’s confused when he doesn’t see you. “Y/N?” Jaebeom calls your name, and he shouts in surprise when he’s pushed from behind, sending him stumbling into the room.

Jaebeom spins around ready to scold you, but all thoughts leave his head when he sees you standing before him wearing nothing but an emerald, green set that he hasn’t seen before with a pair of black shiny heels. Seeing the lust in his eyes, you smirk to yourself and slowly let your hand trail up your body, knowing that Jaebeom is following its every move. You play with the little golden heart pendent that is pressed against the hallow of your throat thanks to the black choker you found in a hidden spot while cleaning up earlier that day. You let your index finger trace over the heart and Jaebeom licks his lips before he smirks.

“Seems like someone needs to be punished for snooping...” Jaebeom starts to unbutton his cuffs as he devores you with his dark eyes. “Come here, pet.”

When Mark saw you on the couch he rolled his eyes. You were so damn dramatic and he left you alone to get himself ready for bed. He told Milo to keep you company while he took a shower and was happy to find the little dog curled up on your chest while you watched a movie. Mark sat in the chair across from the couch and cleared his throat. He asked if you planed on sleeping out here and when you told him yes, he groaned. He ran a hand through his hair and stood up, walking over to you. He blocked the view of the tv and crossed his arms over his chest before he told you to get your ass up and get to bed. He flat out refused to let you sleep on the couch and continued to clock the tv until you gave in. He smiled and wrapped his arms around your waist before he kissed your forehead.

“I’m sorry, baby. You know I love you, right? Come on, let’s get some sleep.”

Jaebeom

Jaebeom stood outside on the balcony, staring out at the world as he sipped on his beer. It was getting late and he knew he needed to head to bed, you couldn’t sleep that good without him beside you. Even though he was annoyed with you, Jaebeom would never let you go to sleep mad, it wasn’t good for either of your health. Downing the late few sips of his beer, Jaebeom walks inside and he’s surprised when he sees you laying on the couch. He asked what you were doing and rolls his eyes when you tell him that you’re going to sleep on the couch. Heading into the bathroom, Jaebeom get himself ready for bed and goes right back out to the living room. He grabs hold of your ankles and holds them up before he sits down and rests them in his lap. He makes himself comfortable before he licks his lips and looks over at you from the corner of his eyes.

“So, are we going to take this out first? You know you can’t sleep out here with the cats. They always keep you up.”

Reviews and Recommendations

After finding a distinct lack in recommendations lately I’ve decided to lay out a list of some BTS fics that I’ve read recently with quick summaries, trigger tags, and a little review. All of these fics are 18+. A lot of these are novel length or longer.

For some reason any single fics I have ever read have escaped my brain so these are mostly OT7 right now.

OT7 with Y/N

The Little Fox - @purpleyoonn (Complete)

Hybrid/poly BTS fic. TW: sexual assault, kidnapping, abuse.

Y/N escapes from a house built to use hybrids for their bodies after a dangerous client tries to lay his claim, abusing her until she can’t take it anymore. She is found cold, alone, and hurt by a mysterious human and his hybrid. Will she be able to live happily ever after with these men? Or will her past come back to haunt her?

I really enjoyed reading this. It has quite a lot of dark aspects to it and will not be for everyone please read with caution.

A Thousand Springs - @whitesparrows97 (Complete)

Immortal BTS/Soulmate AU. TW: Mentions of suicide, violence.

An attractive man approaches Y/N at the bar, flirting like mad. But a sudden wave of emotion tells her to run, to get as far from this man as possible. She tries to escape but finds the familiar stranger blocking her path. Will anyone come to her rescue?

This was a really fun fic, it does have a miscommunication-esk complication in the middle, but a classic is a classic. It does get quite violent. While not technically a mafia fic it does have similar vibes.

The Return of an Empress - @you-are-my-joy (Complete)

Royalty AU. TW: Violence, attempted murder.

Y/N finds herself trapped within the world of her favourite novel as the main protagonist. This would be amazing if it weren’t right before the characters assassination. Can Y/N avoid the doom flags and ultimately her death?

I always get excited when this fic shows up in my AO3 box. You can read it there or here. It’s such an interesting idea. I read a similar book when I was younger about a girl who fell in love with the protagonist and he escaped the book, so this was a cool reverse. I can’t wait to see where this goes!

Playmates - @scribblemetae (Incomplete)

Sex Worker AU. TW: None yet?

After a horrible blow in your life that left you homeless without anybody to turn to. You find yourself turning to a job you never thought you’d stumble upon. The role of a playmate was easy.

Another one that can go a long time without an update but always worth the wait. I can’t remember if this is on hiatus right now or not but I thoroughly recommend going to read what's already done.

Sh. - @wwilloww (Incomplete)

After 6 months of quarantine, you jump at the chance to escape to the country with your 7 best friends. But when you get there you remember just how many things had gone left unsaid before you were forced apart.

This story has just reached the apex of OT7, although there has been plenty of smut in the meantime. Absolutely worth it for a slow burn with some and quick flame with others. Truly the best of both worlds.

A Packs Price - EmpatheticShipper (Complete)

ABO. TW: Attempted murder, sexual assault, pregnancy towards the end.

Kim Seokjin is an omega that was casted out of his pack after bringing home the scent of alpha's belonging to another pack. Wounded and alone, he meets two omegas who eagerly take him back to their den. Can he escape the past to start again?

I don’t even know what made me read this fic but I dis really like reading it. I think I was just trying to find book length fics and I stumbled into this. It’s a long and sometimes angsty read but I think it’s worth it.

You Said We’ll Be the Flare - preciousbirdie (Incomplete)

Dom/Sub hierarchy. TW: Misuse of bdsm dynamics.

Uprooted from his small hometown, Jungkook is given as a submissive to the wealthy Kim family in the place of his dreadful cousin. Not only must he try to pretend to be someone he is not, he must try not to fall in love with six men who seem hesitant to get to know him better.

I will preface this by saying there are always long waits between chapters and it kills me every time that I have to wait. I love the dynamics of this fic between the boys. We are now on chapter 13 and are only just getting to the peak point.

The Bodyguard - @rmnamjoons (Complete)

Political AU? TW: Violence.

You’re the daughter of the ambassador to a small country in Western Europe, working as a diplomat to help your mother with her endless meetings and politics. After a kidnapping attempt gone wrong, you and your protective bodyguard Namjoon are on the run across Europe.

Fantastically written slow burn fic. I would recommend finding it on A03 as then it’s split into chapters, but as I read the whole chunk in one sitting here on tumblr that really is up to you. rmnamjoons has some other great fics you should definitely check out too.

A Dangerous Game - @chaoticpuff17 (Book 1 Complete)

Mafia AU. TW: Yandere, sexual assault, violence, kidnapping

After agreeing to help catch an infamous Korean crime lord, you find yourself as the object of his latest obsession.

Not for the faint of heart. This is a really good take on a possessive Namjoon and a hopeless situation. If you’re into it, there is a whole extended universe.

But what you do know is that you want to see more of the dazzling virtual reality game he showed you despite the fact that you're not much of a gamer. And though you quickly realize you're out of your depth in this world, it gets even worse when you're pulled into a raid with a group of players who know exactly what they're doing – and have very little time for your amateur antics.

This is fun, and broaches the topic of different first languages while solving the issue creatively.

Enemies to Lovers. TW: none?

When Park Jimin is unable to escort his precious sister through the gauntlet of corporate holiday galas, he blackmails his best friend Taehyung into being her chaperone. After all, who better to safeguard his headstrong sibling than a man who would never want her for himself?

Who doesn’t love an enemies to lovers? You don’t need to worry about it being too xmas focused either. This was a really good read from start to finish. It’s bee a while since I read it though so I can’t remember any specifics other than I enjoyed it.

A Human Touch - @snackhobi (Complete)

Robot AU. TW: androids treated as subhuman.

Everyone knows that androids don’t have their own emotions, so after a 2 hour session just talking with a sex bot your friends paid for, the last thing you expect is for V to turn up at your door.

Really makes you think about that robot uprising thats gonna come in like 20 years. But anyway... this fic has a lot of emotion and is really cute in some places.

You wake up in an unfamiliar bed, completely terrified. You remember the man that had taken you. Tall and built, there was no way you could escape, and that's what he was banking on.

Every little snippet of this couples story adds so much depth, it makes you want to keep reading on.

jungkook jeon stole six million dollars. it’s your job to bring him home. but finding him – and keeping him in one place is not that simple. then shit gets weird.
