This is…
Absolutely fucking breath taking.
There’s just something so serenely morose about it. Seriously I’m excited as hell to see this scene because it is a beautifully set up shot. The cinematography of Good Omens isn’t talked about much and that really is a shame, because it deserves high praise.
If I were to take a gander, this is right after the flood. Their clothes look the most similar to that period, but different enough to mark the passage of time. Also that would just be SO damn perfect. The landscape is beautiful but bare, drawing stark attention to Aziraphale and Crowley in the middle. They appear to not even be speaking to eachother, just calmly considering the ocean before them. If they are speaking, they are mutually anxious to face eachother. Which is a precaution that’s stayed with them for millennia.
But although they’re two clearly defined figures, their positioning in the shot makes them one focal point. The physical and emotional distance they try and create to shield themselves is futile, broken by the camera. So here we have Aziraphale and Crowley, trying to make sense of a world where “good” means drowning children and “bad” means questioning that, the person who makes them feel happiest is what they’re divinely designed to hate, and ending up in this limbo. Still apart, making sense only together, uncertain, and unaware of the morning sun rising for them to come.

the bachelor pitch website, recreated
this official website with a pitch for bachelor route was found on jan 2nd and then promptly sniped by IPL, without us getting a good wayback machine copy. i've been working on restoring it, and at this point i think it's rather faithful to the original and worthy sharing!
not perfect YET - namely, the mobile version kinda sucks, - but i'll be looking to improve it over the upcoming weekend! (more info under the cut)
some liberties have been taken in developing this page:
first of all, all source code has purged, and the website was rewritten from scratch - this is to avoid copyright conflict with readymag, the website builder IPL used. such services often allow exporting code, but only limit it to business clients and usually forbid editing the exported code in any way
the mobile version seemingly wasn't a thing that IPL considered with this single-page pitch/"business card" kinda website, but i'll still try to get it to work - my main goal is to ensure all assets load in a harmonic way, while IPL's original website was skipping some of them on mobile
unused assets/disabled elements were not restored. i honestly don't really want to tangle through readymag's messy messy ripped code to find out how were they supposed to look like. also, all of them are developer portraits with their names and contact information, and i don't know which of these people are public personas and which arent :^)
a little "about this page" button was added, including my contacts for incase anyone wants to tell me anything important, or (HOPEFULLY NOT) IPL will have problems with this website being present and would like to ask me to remove it
the chosen by IPL fonts were restored - i'm not sure if the saved .html file that i possess didn't preserve them, or were the fonts simply failed to load on some platforms..? either way...
AND ALSO, if you happen to have screenshots of the PC version, feel free to DM me, and i'll be happy to tweak the layout for better historical correctness!
FINALLY, currently i'm using for reference a saved .html shared by abyssal + screenshots shared by lillia, both on pathomodding discord - so thanks a lot to them because otherwise i would definitely not have enough patience for this project lol!

Do you ever feel that following actors on social media or knowing so much about how they interact "off screen" distracts from their acting performance? While watching Only Friends I can't help but be taken out of it because I keep thinking about interviews and tweets and what fans speculate about the actors. And that stinks because their acting is really good and I want to enjoy the performance for what it is. Or it's just a me problem?
ABSOLUTELY. It is not a you problem fam. It’s the now of things. If we are talking about the Thai entertainment industry specifically, they make good business with fan service and a very special brand of parasocial relationships with artists. I’m not a promo material girl, I don’t follow actors, I don’t watch streams, games or reality tv. I try to dodge it as much as I can. I’m not on twitter ! (I know!) I thirst a good photoshoot at best. I do follow crew (writer,filmmaker, cinematographer etc.) because I’m passionate about the work and even this can go on mute if need be.(for exemple hearing Jojo say he had to edit the show to protect the actors was kinda painful to hear)
I have the privilege of speaking a lil Mandarin (Chinese tik tok knows everything) and knowing some Thai fans to keep me away from trash and give a lil tea ON SHOWS.
But I totally understand you and I know that my way of things is hard to do. I’m old and Aaliyah’s death kinda vaccinated me against “parasociality” you feel me. But I feel you deep deep deep.

GITADORA Over-Drive x Hinabitter collaboration promotional material
During this event, Rio went "missing", as she somehow ends up meeting with the girls in KONAMI's multimedia Hinabitter franchise.
