I'm imagining before they took over the Paranormal Liberation Front, these guys probably survived off of vending machine snacks, canned whatever, and maybe had to dumpster dive at least once. (Oh, the indignity.) They don't strike me as having hunter/gatherer know-how unless it's raiding somebody's vegetable garden.

...definitely an interesting sight, turning on your porch light and finding the nation's most wanted squatting in your backyard like a bunch of raccoons as they make off with your turnips.

And what's funnier about the canned goods situation is the LoV didn't seem to be hiding out in places that had electricity/gas/running water, so there's also the nightly dilemma of either eating cold soup or playing Russian roulette in asking Dabi to heat it up and praying he's not in a murderous mood.

Holy hell, even Tomochan & Mikkun? AFO was puppeteering even them?!?

God this really is the worst version of the reveal we could've gotten. Not only did AFO give Tenko Decay (from fucking Overhaul?!?), not only was he involved with his dad and possibly even the construction of his house, but he even manipulated his social life. I was half joking when I said AFO could've implanted the desire to be a hero in Tenko, but now...

I remember a lot of discussion that tended to split Tomura into the good stuff that comes from Tenko & the bad stuff that constitutes his motivations as a villain; the latter being considered fake, originating from AFO, and should be discarded as a method of resolving the final conflict with the villains. I hated the idea when it was just that but...the idea of all of Tomura being fake may just be worse. Hell, he might've actually been more of a real and independent person of his own as Tomura of the League/PLF then he ever was as Tenko Shimura. ...Huh.

I think most of us can expect Tomura will come back from his disintegration, but...goodness this is a lot to come back from. I honestly wonder what he'll be like on the other side of it.

All right, the whole bit with Hawks conspiring to fake Best Jeanist's death to prove his loyalty to the PLF...

For some reason, I have it in my head that he just sprang this on him with no absolutely no context.

Like he just showed up at his apartment as we see in the series, asks how he's been doing since Kamino and all...but then he just throws the duffel bag on the floor, points at it, and says, "All right, get in the duffel bag."

And rather than question why he needs to get in the duffel bag or why he's even being told to get into a duffel bag or how he's supposed to origami himself into said bag, Best Jeanist just stares at it for a long moment, then looks up at Hawks still pointing at it and says, "All right, but you better take care of my plants while I'm gone."

Okay, obviously that's not how it went down, but I have seen the headcanon floating around that Hawks takes up gardening post-War and now I imagine this is how the love of plants got started.
