Ok found out I probably have been watering an plant I have wrong and idk what to do with it now

Still got leafs and that but they have been dropping a lot#I love buying or getting new plants. You looked out the window when the storm began. The rain fell torrentially in the city while you locked yourself inside the house to protect yourself. Your friends were waiting for you at Ferran's house but the weather in Barcelona had surprised you with bad news.
"What are we going to do?" Pablo asked, sighing after lying on your couch for a while.
You did not say anything just looked out the window and prayed iy would stop. Everything was already very tense between you and the fact that it didn't stop raining didn't help.
You and Pablo didn't have a good relationship. In fact, it was terrible. From bad to worse. You tried to never get close to him, because when you did he would end up making you angry with his nonsense. But unfortunately for you, he was the only one who lived near your house and Ferran had forced him to pick you up to go celebrate his birthday.
"Could you stop wringing your fingers and answer already?" He grunted.
You was nervous. Being locked up here with Pablo was making your hair stand on end and you didn't know what to say or do. Did it have to rain like this just now?
Why, Universe?
You closed the curtains when lightning struck near you and covered your ears when the thunder sounded loudly. You heard a mocking laugh from Pablo but you ignored it, if there was one thing you didn't want to discuss right now. It could end in something bad and you didn't want to go to your best friend's birthday angry.
“Damn” you whispered simply. "Get your feet off the couch" you warned when you turned and saw Pablo.
"Stop being so you" he muttered mockingly, ignoring you.
"You stop being so you!" you repeated angrily. You walked over to him and swept his feet off your beautiful white couch.
You sat defeated next to him sighing. You were supposed to have left by now but the storm was still hitting the city.
The awkward and tense silence only made them sigh and snort. You got up from the couch taking your cell phone and wrote to your friend saying what was happening while Pablo watched you walk from here to there. The minutes passed and you continued moving around the place, all that was left was to wait but it was really something you were bad at.
"Stay still, you make me nervous" he asked rudely.
You rolled your eyes ignoring him. You didn't know what to do anymore and you were about to lose your mind if you just sat there.
The pressure on your waist made you stop, you squealed as you were pushed onto the couch.
“Idiot” you raised your voice, moving as far away from him as possible. Your party dress, which was a little short, had risen a little higher and Pablo smiled ironically, looking unscrupulous.
"Trying to impress someone?" He asked with a sarcastic tone of voice.
"Shut up," you said, adjusting your dress.
"Ferran perhaps?" he asked again, making you shake with rage.
It didn't bother you that he asked about Ferran, you had a very different relationship than yours with Pablo. But you were best friends although Pablo always joked that you were in love with Ferran.
"Why do you think I'm trying to impress someone?" you snapped angrily. "For having a dress?" He laughed ironically.
"Because you look like you're saying 'someone get between my legs please'." he murmured in a mocking tone.
You rolled your eyes again, resisting the urge to yell at him and throw him out of your house right now.
"You look like a..."
"A whore?" You interrupted him.
You were starting to get annoyed and you weren't going to let it go. You stood in your place in front of Pablo, staying close enough to face him.
You weren't one of those girls to stay quiet and let them walk all over you. You knew Gavi was quite impulsive, but you weren't going to let him treat you like one of the others. If you had kept quiet until now it was to take care of your relationship with his friends, who were your friends too. But you couldn't stand Pablo being a misogynistic idiot anymore.
"Do you think a dress makes me a slut?" You insisted. Pablo just smiled with a certain pride. You clenched the fingers of your hands about to explode.
"You are an idiot, selfish and misogynist" you shouted, not being able to believe the situation.
"Wipe that damn smile off your face or..." you said again angrily.
“Or what, Y/n?” he stood up from his place.
You were face to face now and you were a little smaller compared to him but he didn't intimidate you. Not at all.
"I'm going to take it away from you!" You squealed making him laugh out loud.
Oh no. You were already furious, you were red with anger, your fists clenched ready to defend yourself. Pablo still looked so calm and arrogant that it made you doubly angry.
Due to the small difference in heights, you raised your head to challenge him. Pablo was still smiling like a conceited fool, watching your teeth grind.
"What are you going to do Y/n?" he asked haughtily.
"I'm going to take that damn..." you couldn't finish.
Not when his hands held your red cheeks and his lips crashed against yours. Your body paralyzed and all the anger you had disappeared.
You tried to take his hands to push him away but your body made another movement, your hands moved to his hips, where you held him to return the kiss.
What the fuck was happening with you?
Neither the rain nor their discussion mattered at that moment. You just let him kiss and didn't stop him.
You did the complete opposite.

Math masterpost!
So you want to learn math. Good. Math is amazing. I studied physics for two years and I miss it SO MUCH.
Learning math isn't just cool, but it's a great way to improve skills such as:
Resilience: sometimes you will get stuck for a while on a problem - this is absolutely normal for college-level problems. You won't start from here though;
Self confidence: mastering a subject known to be difficult is fun;
Problem solving: you will be less likely to just sit down and do nothing if something comes up in your life, you will be able to try to find a solution.
It will change your approach to failure as you will become more flexible in your thinking.
Unfortunately most people never learn how to properly study math. We all probably know how to study a book over humanities. We start by reading the material, then we take notes of the keypoints. But this method doesn't work with math, and math teachers often don't really know either.
For the basics I've made this post here. To sum it up:
Please don't start with "but i suck at it". Because then your brain will actually prevent you from learning (self-fulfilling prophecy, anyone?);
Realise that you need to master one topic before covering the next one or you won't be able to progress;
Really, the methods you use for things like literature or psychology or whatever won't work
Now I'm not a genius, I always was and I always be a terrible student. I have adhd, depression and chronic pain, all of which add a difficulty layer with learning.
I feel like most people fail because of the first point. I've seen this with people I've tutored IRL, people I try to fix their pc... Don't be the person that gives up before trying because no one likes that. Just don't. Remember that you are learning on your own and no one is going to grade your excercises. Now take that and make a poster out of iy.
Now, resources Where To Find The Stuff.
Khan Academy. I didn't follow this courses becuase well, university, physics, but everyone references them.

Remember that, even if you don't like a specific youtuber, source or anything it has been a while since college and high school teachers started to upload their own material. Generally, looking for like "calculus pdf" will give you a lot of resources. Youtube is full of university courses of every kind and it's so good to access all of this knowledge for free.
I cannot recommend you anything regarding textbooks because I still have my high school one. Also yes, i've used the Rudin as a complementary textbook in university but that's a bit too much.
I really, really want to emphasize the mentality part. Leaning formula is useless if you feel like garbage because you weren't able to solve the first exercise you picked up after a decade not doing anything.
My personal and sparce advice:
Unless you have dyscalculia don't use the calculator. I know, I KNOW. But this "lazyness" will make everything 10 times more difficult.
Beware about overlearning. Basically, when you solve everything at the first attempt and you keep doing the same thing over and over because it feels good, but the truth is that you are wasting time. This is the time to move forward.
Try to differentiate between a knowledge error(did I actually study the subject?), a conceptual error (did I understand the material), or a mere calculation/distraction error (fo example a missing sign, writing the wrong thing etc)
Try to solve the problems in different ways if you can.
After a certain time, It will be useful to review things done in the past, (ref: spaced repetition method).
Write everything down. Reasonings, steps etc. It will be easier for you to review them.

God, you couldn't believe it came to this. Honestly, why were you here anyway, it's not like you belong with the criminals. This was just so that they could try and teach the insane to be nicer, to not be criminals.
Honestly, they shouldn't have chosen you, you kind of belonged in here. The way that people would look at you when you twitched, a singular mis-fire in your brain made people think there was something wrong with you. Like you belonged with the freaks of Arkham. Well, one too many jokes about suicide and jokes of your trauma and BOOM! You've been chosen for our unpaid internship at Arkham, too bad you have to stay here you freak! God. It pisses you off to feel their stares of judgement on the streets.
To feel their pity. Batman saves you from a bridge too many times and you're involuntarily put in here.
You walked, two guards right beside you. Their shoes clacking against the tile. One of them was touching you and it made your body feel off. A misfire, and your head jerks to the right.
"Please stop touching me." They give you a stern look. Panic filters your brain. "I can walk myself. I'm a big kid." You crack a smile at the last part, makes it easier to tell when it's a joke.
They keep staring at you, you misfire, and then the second guard takes their hand off of your shoulder. Great. Now more people think you belong in here. Misfire. Misfire, this time nodding your head. Misfire. Jeezy creezy. "Sorry." You continue walking with them, but you can tell that they're staring at you. Or is iy the phenomena of Spotlight, where you delude yourself into thinking that everyone is staring at you? Nevertheless, you can feel them looking at you.
Not just the guards, but the inmates too, the other ones. The ones you belong with. Not the fucking insane criminals. They watch you, a teen, get walked- misfire -to the criminal side of the asylum. It's quiet, but there are whispers. Of course, part of you says that they're talking about you, but is it just because you're being moved to the criminals, or is it because you -misfire- look like you belong here? The other part says it's narcissistic to think they're talking about you. You reach the doors, steel, heavy steel to make sure that they don't cross over to the section you belong in, misfire, to the people that can be helped.

BIRTHDAY SURPRISE!! [tighnari birthday]
im so sorry for not posting for almost a month 😅🫶
you have been working so hard to make a secret suprise. for your boyfriend. you work so hard and scared that he will notice something weird in you.
well good thing you are a good liar, things goes your way! but there is time where you think he notice something, but maybe its just you being an overthinker
so, your plan is wake up WAY MORE EARLIER than tighnari, and its going to be hard because tighnari usually wake up at 6. and that mean you need to wake up at 5 or 4:30. why?? well first youu need to take a shower and clean yourself. next! take the decorations from the room next to the bedroom slowly so tighnari wont be distrupt by the noises. then put it up and make it look like your expectation. now take the cake from the fridge and put the candles! then take your gifts that you work hard on getting it! some of the gifts you make it by yourself and some you bought it from a store. and tidy the place and you need to do it all without waking tighnari up and its will be quite hard because of his awareness and his ears, once he woke up and saw that you warent in bed with him, its game over
“yawn… mmnn..” you mummbled as you stand up from the bed to the bathroom. you open and close the door slowly and try to not make that much noise while you shower
after you clean yourself, you get out from the bathroom feeling so fresh! its starting of greaat!! you see tighnari still sleeping while hugging a sack of pillows you put to make it feels like he is hugging you.
you get out from the room and went to the next room next to your bedroom, you see 2 medium size box fills with decorations, and back up plan incase the decoration look boring or not like yyou expecting. you dra one of the box out and it make some noises but not enough to wake him up. but still! you need to be carefull incase he wake up. you put the box in the living room and go back tto get the other box, when you drag this box its kinda more louder than the other one, which you hope the noises didnt go through to the bedroom.
after you have both of the box i the livig room, you start decorating carefully. you keep make some noises from taking the decoration out from the box. you put a little “HAPPY BIRTHDAY” decoration across the room. then blow some ballons and a little party hats! just for fun, the long part is when you need to blow the ballons.
after the decoration, you didnt have that much time before he wake up. you take the cake and put it on top the table that was in the middle of the living room. you put the candles and but you kinda scared to light the candles on fire, so you have some match stick and try many time tto lit it up, but you cantt seem to do it! you try 4 stiks and everytime yyou end with the fire is not strong enough and blown by a wind when you try to lit the candles or its just traight up not lighting up.
“sigh..let me help you” a voice behind you appear and help you light the candles and its no other thn tighnari who help you with iy. “happy birthday!! i tried to make a suprise but i kinda failed..i almost had it!!” you explain to him whhile kiss him in the cheeks
“oh please..,the sounds that you make beside our bedroom is soo loud.., and you act so suspicious, and i saw the cake. its not rocket science but i still really greatfull for your hard work for making this suprise. thank you love” tighnari says while hugging you
“always! now lets try the cake!!!” you say while give the plastic knife to tighnari

I’m sorry, but why can a work nominated for two different categories? And why can an author be nominated twice?
I’d heard that the awards were rigged, but didn’t believe it. Then i looked at the nominations list and the same people keep popping up.
This is probably why it looks rigged. Maybe you should consider asking people who keep getting nominated to skip once a year or something.
I’m not going to bother nominating anyone because it’s obvious who’s going to win.
no wonder the IY fandom gets labeled toxic in general and not just because of shipping wars. I thought that was wrong, too.

Back when FC was just a baby, the mod-team put limits in place so that the nominations weren't flooded by the same creators or the same pieces. Having ten nominations for one piece wouldn't be fun, and wouldn't be inclusive. Thus, the limits were put into place so that no creator could have more than 4 nominations total per term. This has done well to keep nominations in check and allow other creators and pieces to be nominated.
I'm sorry that you've heard such bad feedback regarding FC. The mod-team has done their absolute best to preserve FC's integrity, the nomination phase, the voting period, and those involved. We process each nomination to make sure it adheres to all requirements in place. The Inuyasha fandom is a wonderful community, filled with a plethora of creators who are constantly putting out content (for free!) for our little hearts to enjoy. We are so blessed by how creative this community is.
Some creators put out more content than others, meaning they have more chances of being nominated. We never have and never will ask anyone to refuse a nomination. These creators work hard on their writing and art, and the only payment they receive is appreciation from the community they create for. These awards are just another way to give them that appreciation. As said in the past, the mod-team has no say who gets nominated or who wins except by the public rules in place.
If you don't want to nominate, that's okay. We understand. Nominating lesser known creators so their piece receives more love and more of the spotlight is not for everyone. However, for those who do want to nominate, please: nominate those hole in the wall creations, the creators who only have one creation posted, the ones who are having a rough start to the year, the ones who need a little extra love, and everyone in between. As long as it adheres to the guidelines set, we wholeheartedly welcome all IY creators to be nominated!

wow it is star trek update time. last night we watched ds9's "blood oath" and tng's "journey's end," which is one of the strongest quality ricochets we've had yet.
blood oath (ds9):
okay, so the summary said "three klingon legends" but what i didn't realize is that they were all REAL KLINGONS FROM THE ORIGINAL SERIES
i have to pain this picture for you, whoever is reading this. the three klingons in this episode appeared in "errand or mercy" "the trouble with tribbles" and "day of the dove." like, they really came back to reprise their roles almost 30 years later. i'm going to paste a picture but uhtw 60s blackface
now, if you're a tos viewer, you may recognize that fella in the middle as also having played the titular squire of gothos in. "squire of gothos." now, as an episode, i find "squire of gothos" to be pretty mid, but there is one specific scene that really did something for me. to me? it did something TO me. what it did to me was send me off the fucking deep end, i wish i could convey the depths of my madness with human words

anyway, before my good and wonderful friend so kindly made this gifset for me, i did maybe sit in front of my pc and replay the clip upwards of [mumble] times a day because i was very, very unwell. when i watched this scene for the very first time what happened to me in that single instant was the bone-deep realization that james t kirk (tos and aos) ate fascists on tarsus iv, probably, and he'd fucking do it again because nobody tastes better than a fascist! i wrote an entire fanfic about it, sorry for the spoilers.
what does squire of gothos and tarsus iv have to do with ds9? well first of all every star trek episode is secretly about tarsus iv so jot that down
but secondly, i've watched this clip so many times i have to hide my face when this man shows up in trouble with tribbles. now, i'm not so good with faces, but i KNOW THAT VOICE. but i know him AS the squire of gothos. i frequently forget entirely that he also plays a klingon, so i didn't recognize his name. so when i heard the squire of gothos's voice come out of a random klingon's mouth in ds9 my immediate kneejerk reaction was "no i am hearing things that can't be--" BUT IT WAS. i PAUSED the episode so i could look iy up, realized that the guy in the drunk tank was kor or "do you have a tongue you will be taught to use it" fame, and then to my eternal glee, kang shows up next
i remembered reading once that kang came back later and i was like ??? no one comes back later on tos BUT HE DID! I JUST HAD TO WAIT FOR IT!!!!! mystery finally solved...........
once i recognized them this episode was a blast. absolutely loving these 100 year old klingons getting ready for a rip roaring rampage of supercentenarian revenge. i was VERY sad that they died at the end but at least presumably they all died together (didnt see the last one go down but im just assuming he lived long enough to eat the albino's heart and then die)
(the albino is a really funny concept by the way like he's not even albino he's just a white klingon)
other notable things about this episode: firstly, quark hiding behind odo at the beginning. classic. secondly, dax actually being a good fighter ?!?!?! and finally, a true passing of the bechdel test where dax asked kira some alarming and upsetting questions about killing people and kira immediately took her aside and MADE her talk. i love. Women. and also women who murder people. i support womens wrongs.
i even love that the ONE time sisko doesn't back up one of his people it's for a good reason (doesn't want the 27yo reincarnation of his father figure to die on a klingon suicide mission)

you know, we tried to give this episode the benefit of the doubt actually. we were like "maybe this was progressive in 1994. i mean they ARE saying that moving these guys forcibly would be bad" and i mean like what would we know about what was progressive in 94? we were 5. so we checked and um i don't think anybody liked it in 1994 either
devastating that THIS has to be a wesley episode bc i wanted a better sendoff for my boy. "i had a vision and now i'm leaving starfleet" and yes they said the word vision in the most derogatory way possible. jesus christ
TRAVELER ALIEN RACEFAKING? HE PRETENDED TO BE NATIVE AMERICAN TO GIVE WESLEY THE VISION? and then he was like haha don't you know all that stuff is fake. (picard earlier in this episode "i am sooo respectful of your beliefs")
furthermore when picard was like "oh yeah this guy blames me for the crimes of my colonizer ancestor" girl at no point did he say that. idk if white people should go around accusing other white people of white guilt so i don't say this lightly but jesus christ captain picard can you tone it the fuck down buddy
i came across a gifset today of picard from season 5 (idr the episode) going "starfleet doesn't want officers who blindly follow orders sayign you're just following orders has been used to justify too many tragedies in our history" and then smash cut to this episode where he's like "well i tried but yeah i'm gonna have to move you sowwy :/" like good lord.
anyway it's a bummer these last few eps of tng have been less than great bc ik tng is capable of good episodes and i was hoping this series would go out on a high note. but it's going to end the same way it began with us waiting for something good to happen and throwing popcorn at picard

Thoughts about a certain someone🦷pt.1
Unfortunately for Mr. Glenn Jacobs, I think about Isaac Yankem frequently. Like, he is definitely one of my hyper fixations. 😅
I consider myself a scholar of this character and I honestly enjoy the design of Yankem. Due to the way that 90s wrestling and specifically the WWF was doing in '95, its really no surprise that the character tanked in a year. It's sad that he wasn't around for long, but it just wasn't reasonable for him to stick around too much longer after the Jerry Lawler -Brett Hart rivalry. He was a fun addition during that time, and it was camp!
Poor Glenn himself has said it was camp (not in a good way- and I don't blame him). If I was trying to support my family with my passion, and I had to portray a dentist with horrible teeth in the mid 90s, I would be understandably upset as well. I can't help but feel that the WWF was "playing in his face" because why would they put such a horrible gimmick to such a talented BIG man?
However, since his career took off afterwards eventually with Kane, I don't feel like a complete and total jerk liking IY. ( I think it would be a different story if his career died after portraying Yankem, but thankfully Jacobs is hard-working, resilient, and passionate to the point where he gracefully managed the hand he was dealt and succeeded!)
Now, let's talk character design and what I like about him.
Bc I'm a young adult on a Kane-posting tumblr you could imagine that my tastes are not......standard issue. I like deranged characters! Kane is a great, vanilla (ish) version of that. I also can't help but like the crazed doctor trope, something about it is always chef's kiss.
So years ago when I first found Kane and professional wrestling, I was absolutely giddy when I discovered that the man who portrayed him also played a deranged dentist?! Please lord. It was like a two for one special (but I also enjoyed Doomsday, Unabom , and Diesel II so it was like a coupon book).
His entrance music leaves less to be desired, I do enjoy that Jim Johnston included calming elevator music with the drill, but ya know, it is what it is.
Speaking of his entrance, oh my god ? The Yankem grillz on the screen? I think about those frequently . I really can't imagine that in the year '95 that it was edited on, so I imagine that it was a real pair of grillz that WWF made for Jacobs. I can't find anything on them, but they crack me up every time I see them.
Also when IY walks out to the ring he'll say some phrases that are in character. There are two I can make out with my very poor lip reading skills and close listening.
It's time for an extraction.

Continuing with the entrance themes, when he takes off his dentist smock? help?! He does it so aggressively.😅
I love his attire anyways, especially how he has those long boots under his baggy pants, which were special because most wrestlers had tights on, so the fact he had baggier pants that hid long ass boots underneath is a great surprise ( see when he was tied up by Bret Hart on the turnbuckle). I somehow always expect smaller shoes, but the boots keep going up.🤣I somehow always see them as patent leather dress shoes.
(I kinda want to make an entire post based on his attire bc I love it, so more on that later)
The way he moves in the ring is fantastic. I personally can't tell what Glenn was talking about when he said his matches were horrible. To a non-professional it looks fine. Maybe he was referring to this in a technical manner? I really have no idea. However, one thing I think he excelled whether on purpose or accident was how he moved in the ring. He moved stiff and rushed and rather chaotic, which I think fit a wrestling dentist (No offense Britt Baker!!). In theory if you were a crazed dentist, you wouldn't be graceful, fluid, or pleasing to look at while you were dissecting your patient opponent.
Anyways, I will probably make a part 2 bc that is a lot of dumping....
