muck, haggard, silt, debris :3
boots hit the ground in a rhythmless fast pace, each step being left behind got filled water and became a puddle of tracks soon washed away under the harsh downpour of cold rain.
bringing one foot up with a hoist through the mud became difficult as the muck began weighing down the old man's legs and added pressure to his already weak joints that ached worse in the chill of the storm.
each time he came up the mountain to visit, it always seemed to be some sort of storm. you'd think by now, what with his body being so sensitive to changes in the weather, that he'd have better timed his visits, but yet here he was trying to hide away from the wet wind.
the old man, haggard and hungry, pushed on up the trail. the cabin wasnt to far now, he'd already made it past a few that he'd become used to seeing every visit.
dragging his feet through the mud grew more tiresome, unfortunately his footing landed on ground that was more like silt. he didnt mind the water, his feet were plenty soaked already, but it had risen just past where his boots stopped on his shins, so he began wading through the large puddle in his path with long strides.
when he finally reached the cabin, instead of being greated by his friend, instead of hearing the sound of her dogs, he was met with only the sound of thunder, flashes of lightling, and wet, charred debris of a ruined cabin.
it was gone. she was gone. and someone was going to have to explain why. someone was going to pay.

Hello sorry to bother . BPD question . Is it wise to cut off friends if you're a really bad friend ? Does it make them too sad if they say they like you / does that really mean anything ? genq sorry very sorry
no bother bud!
in general, id say its not wise to cut off friendships unless you know things arent working out or youre uncomfortable, it can really help having a support system esp through friendship though thats entirely optional and up to you
in the case of bpd though, if its not someone youre attached to or a friend you've lost interest in because of splitting thoughts or something similar, for the sake of your mental health yes its okay to break things off.
if youre aware theyre an okay friend but youre the one being a bad friend and you want to end it because youre being the bad friend and dont want to make things worse esp because its hard to do better as a friend due to your pd's thats still an okay reason to cut someone off
all you need to do is explain to them that its not working out, however you want to word it/phrase it etc, you arent obligated to give them an entre spiel but just let them know the base point why you want to break off the friendship and end it there if you choose to. its best to talk it out and see where it goes but if you really want to break it off its okay, you can, it doesnt make you a bad person for doing so, however you go about it.

if cluster b has terms would you also be willing to consider/discuss cluster a/related disorder terms on this blog?
par example cluster a schizospec people [szpd & stpd] can have:
someone more trusted in face of delusions [i don't have one of these but i think i know people who do] // more stpd focused
& someone who they actually feel connected with/love // more szpd focused
i feel like people might want terms for those. also general cluster a b & c terms if you don't know what you have but you have someone in spite of it. y'know? i'm not cluster c though so i can't speak on any of that [i'm not cluster a either but since it's heavily schizospec i feel i could talk on it]

hey!
i would absolutely like to include custer a and c as we have undiagnosed disorders from there and want to discuss them more, i just need to find the time and spoons to completely revamp this blog.
a lot has changed since i first made this blog (i thought i just had bpd then added npd after my ward visit and i kept finding out more stuff) and ive come to realize clusters a and c get pretty overshadowed by cluster b discussion so i will absolutely add them to the blog
however i feel like i should try doing more research myself before hand, its just hard to find unbiased, non-ableist, reliable sources.
im plenty open to receiving asks about more topics on pd's in the meantime though, we can discuss them as much as you want! im more than happy giving people a space to talk, im even open to the discussion on them on cpunkwitch at times, especially when it comes to how they affect your body and physical functions.
once i have this blog fixed up i can make a proper masterpost for terms and term discussion, atm im tired slow brain so no ideas or anything

9. What was your first special interest?
the earliest i can remember is sailor moon but maybe before that it could have been pokemon or yugioh even, like really early 2000's kid things too? i dont even think sabrina could remember and she was the host before me.
10. What are your most common stims?
flappy hands
rocking side to side
foot tapping/shaking
fidgeting with hands/fingers
picking our lip/cracking our neck or knuckles
squeaking noises
putting a song on loop
probably more but these are the very frequent ones i remember
20. What kinds of things are good sensory wise?
soft warm blankets
smooth textures
sweet but not too strong scents
low bass sounds (like really low hrz that you can feel)
things that are warm in the morning like a mug of coffee just to hold
things that are cold during the day like our ice-cold fingers
scratchy noises like brushes
soft faint noises like rain on a window
stuff thats not too strong/overpowering like that y'know? we're pretty understimulated most of the time but its really easy to be overstimed by things like bright lights and strong smells.
