I remember when she was just shy of 2. I could see the “toddler twos” behavior starting (I don’t care for labeling children as terrible). Now that she’s just a couple months shy of 3, I can see the “threenager” behavior starting and holy hell. 😅
It’s funny though, because at the same time, she’s eating more like a 3yo and less like a 2yo (I’ve cared for enough kids to know the difference).
She ate truffle mushroom tagliatelle with us last night - like a real toddler serving. She eats bananas now (refused to eat them literally until a couple weeks ago). She’s willing to try whatever we eat 90% of the time and it’s like it was ~1 year ago.
So behaviorally, I may need to read a book for once lol but hooray my kid is branching out with food 🙏🏽

After three hours of working on her with many many breaks I finished a drawing! Mothwing based on the deathshead moth with long claws like her father that have been shaved down on her front paws. Her eyes are a deep rich brown with a streak of blue through on her left eye. On that same side her ear is cut all the way down with a scar leading down her cheek, a past incident she’s always forced to remember every time she looks in the waterways.

wanna work on this again, just remembered an Australia based Fakémon region I was planning out last year
These were the starters for the Legends game taking place in a fictionalised version of 1901-ish, each based on an invasive species:
Serperior (Grass/Ghost) - invasive rubber vine and Madeira vine + other invasive weeds
Cinderace (Fire/Ground) - based on invasive rabbits and hares + rugby players
Greninja (Water/Poison) - based on cane toads + swagmen

What is a Plant-Based diet?
This blog is about my journey and experiences cooking and eating healthy food with my family.
I’m a passionate cook and I aim to take the mystery out of what a plant based diet means. If you are interested I'd like to show you how to do it too.
The Plant Based diet is made up of a variety of grains such as oats, barley, quinoa, bulgar wheat, buckwheat, and rice, legumes such as peas, beans, and lentils, vegetables, fruit, dairy-free versions of milk, cheese and yoghurt, pasta, bread, nuts, seeds and much more.
I would also like to mention the benefits I have experienced are a noticeable increase in energy levels and all round well-being since committing to eating this way. *Please enter a little disclaimer here about how I can't promise everyone will feel this way.
We simply need to know what to look out for and where, plan ahead and ensure we are reaching our nutritional needs. This goes for any food based plan we follow. It doesn't take long to source all your favourite ingredients based on price, availability and personal choices. We are creatures of habit and usually settle on a series of dishes we enjoy that may vary throughout the seasons. I think of soups and stews more in the winter and lighter meals in the summer. It would be interesting for you to take a look in your kitchen cupboards and fridge right now to see what kind of variety you are currently eating.
The foods that I choose not to consume are ones that are made from or contain animal products. The "why" is not very important here as I feel everyone will have their own personal reasons for not consuming animal products. I focus on what we can eat instead of what we cannot.

"Aye, aye, so my family's bigger than most, I know it. Ya don't gotta go laughin' about it, though..."
Any leaves and flowers growing from him are all starting to turn shades of pink, red, and warm browns. As old as he was now, you'd think that he would be past getting embarrassed about this, but no. No, he's not.

currently luz only has a handful of glyph combos—invisibility, the sleeping steam spell she did with hunter, the hover spell, and the combos she got from phillip’s journal. i guess she kind of knows phillip’s teleportation glyph? anyway i’m surprised no one has said anything about trying to make a healing glyph? even if luz doesn’t know how to make one, you’d think she’d at least consider looking into it. healing magic is like. one of the basic things plucky fantasy adventurers need and luz is trope savvy enough to know that.
also it fits with her background. her mom is a vet and literally “heals” animals for a living. growing up with a parent like that, luz would have some interest or at least knowledge in medicine that she’d reasonably connect to magic. once she found out she can make glyph combos one of her first thoughts should have been “cool wonder if i can make a healing spell with that since i keep getting myself into danger.” the healing glyph definitely would have come in handy in the most recent episode where hunter almost died lol.
anyway if they never brought it up i dont think they’ll do anything special with healing glyphs. luz can’t discover every glyph combo for every spell in existence within the show. the fact that she’s “only” learned like 7-8 combos in all of season 2 and only discovered like 3 without phillip, shows how hard it is to discover these things. even if luz is considered to be “fast” at learning glyph magic. healing spells are just such an important part of the repertoire in classical fantasy, so i’m surprised that they barely mentioned it in the show.

[ID copied from ALT: A digital sketch of my OC Rian, who is a genderfluid (she/they) "fennec fox" person. She is sitting with her legs loosely crossed, arms resting on her knees casually as they lean back slightly and smile languidly at the viewer. Her tail, which is tan, fluffy, and has a black tip, sweeps in front of her legs. Her ears are fluffy, large, and tan outside with white insides, featuring small cuff piercings along the front edge of the ear. Their hair frames their face in the front and sticks out cutely in the back, dark grey in color with bright acid green tips. Their eyes are a bloody brown and she's wearing a casual brown long sleeved shirt and desaturated blue leggings. End ID]

Like all mammals, a mother's milk is created for their babies. But we permanently separate calves from their mothers so that the cow's milk can be given to us humans instead.
