After three hours of working on her with many many breaks I finished a drawing! Mothwing based on the deathshead moth with long claws like her father that have been shaved down on her front paws. Her eyes are a deep rich brown with a streak of blue through on her left eye. On that same side her ear is cut all the way down with a scar leading down her cheek, a past incident she’s always forced to remember every time she looks in the waterways.

best physical touch i got this week was going out to dinner with my best friend, getting news during dinner that was very scary for me and had me on the brink of tears the whole night, and then she drove me home and we hugged outside my house for minutes while she rubbed my back and I had my head tucked a little under hers but where she could still rest hers against mine 🫶🏻🫶🏻

something i genuinely will always love about fig's character is that she will always stand up for the outcasts or people who aren't considered "cool". like without even missing a beat fig immediately goes to play twister with mazey because ivy wanted to put her down for even suggesting it. it genuinely is one of the best parts of her character and i adore it so much.

and upon seeing the utter horror and fear on her face, steve swoops in and says he’s the one who’s gay. cue mr. and mrs. buckley, local hippies, attempting to show how supportive they are, and all the while steve gets eddie to agree to fake date to get the buckleys to prove they’re safe, so that robin will feel comfortable enough to come out to her parents.
