Sun in Virgo ♍️🌎 Moon in Aquarius ♒️💨 and Pisces ♓️🌊

The best thing that we can all do today, is be gentle. With ourselves and with one another. This Super Moon is packing a punch. You may feel extra sensitive, cathartic and really emotional.

The Moon will be in Aquarius most of the day and is conjunct Saturn in Pisces which too is in retrograde. We’re all thinking about the past in one way or another. Either longing for the way things were or reflecting on past mistakes.

The moon enters Pisces this evening where it will reach its peak of opposition with the Sun in Virgo and will be the second full moon this month. A rare occurrence making it a blue moon, hence the phrase, “Once in a blue moon.” It will also be the closest it can get to earth, making it a super moon. The moon represents our emotions and in dreamy, sensitive and empathetic Pisces will have us needing some tissues. Neptune which is its planetary ruler is also in Pisces adding another layer of sensitivity but also illusion and deception.

What we have here is Father Time (Saturn) which is reality checks, boundaries, rejection and practicality, clashing or not mixing so well with dreams, longing and delusion. But what this energy is asking of us is to let go of what isn’t real so we can move forward. It’s asking you to find the silver lining in your situation, see why it didn’t work out that way and be your own hero. Focus less on others and find the strength within yourself. Anything else will do more harm than good. It’s acting as a liberating release point. Turn this energy into a positive and let something go. ☮️💚✨

Last night was the Pisces blue super moon, so I decided to try my hand at making moon water for the first time! I did a ritual to go along with it but didn’t photograph it, but these are the results from the next morning, along with some cards that describe this lunar event 🌙

Hi! Full moons in general are a sensitive time as they signify the ending of the moon cycle. It opposes the sun and illuminates down to Earth. For you, your Pisces sun is conjoining the moon. This can illuminate the house where your sun lies which I assume is your 11th house. This can be a very sensitive time for your friend groups as well as any hopes and dreams you may have for yourself. You could be reevaluating whether you belong in your friend groups, if your goals are something you actually want anymore, etc. It may sound like a lot but it’s not supposed to be scary. It’s like having a spotlight on these matters in your life when you may think about it passively otherwise. The super moon makes this time a little more emotionally sensitive, especially with it squaring your 2H Gemini moon but it’s to make sure what you want follows more with what’s in your heart. We have an extra magical Pisces full moon coming up tomorrow with the moon conjunct Neptune, Pisces’ mystical ruling planet! This is a beautiful time of inspiration, creativity, and heightened intuition. The Divine Feminine energies are very strong right now. We are invited to let go and let ourselves relax, rest, and simply be. We can allow ourselves to be gently guided by whatever insight or inspiration arises – to go with the natural flow. 

However, there is also a confusing and possibly frustrating energy signature to this full moon. Surrender is the key. Simply allow what is to be – including (and especially) any discomfort. Don’t try to figure it out or force anything. The solutions will reveal themselves in due time, without our interference. The answers will not be found in our minds. We just need to get out of the way. As this is a mentally foggy time period, hold off on making any important decisions for a few days, if possible. Wait for clarity to arise. 

This is also a time of integration – integrating intense emotions, parts of ourselves that we have repressed/hidden, and parts of ourselves that seem to oppose one another. We do this through witnessing and allowing. Though this process is uncomfortable, we have some beautiful cosmic support for it right now. Profound healing and positive change is possible.

Some may decide to leave a commitment behind for freedom or something less serious. Others, you’re wanting commitment, dedication & devotion. Decide wether someone is worthy ( to marry, to partner with, to sign a contract with, to live with) People may expect more of you at this time. You could feel restricted, judged or peer pressured. The decision is ultimately up to you. You may desire pleasure & youth, while others want you to be mature & disciplined. It may good to distance yourself. Energy Update: Weekend of 9/10/22

Well Mercury stationed retrograde and then our full moon in Pisces peaked 6 hours later - expect life to get fuckidy this weekend and hope for the best.

Because that's where we are at.

This weekend is a great weekend to go on a vision quest, talk to some spirits, do some dreamwork, or anything else liminal.

This weekend is poorly aspected for concrete work or deadlines.

Go with the flow. Don't fight the currents - don't jump in after somebody else if you haven't put your own gas mask on first. Double-check any and all correspondences. Save often. Perform a backup or routine check-up/check-in.

With Mercury retrograding in Libra (for the moment), all eyes are on the relationships in our lives that aren't working for us anymore. The ones that are built on an imbalance of power. The ones that we've stayed in because we were comfortable but chafe a bit around the edges.

If something is ending in your life right now, know that it is right on time.

This is part of a greater cycle that we've been in for the last year and a half as Saturn, our planet of constriction, squares off with Uranus, our planet of radical expansion. Sometimes things need to break so that you can see all of the pieces in their original forms.

Some things won't be able to be put back together. This is your cosmic sign that if it hasn't worked yet, it might be time to move the fuck on.

It can be hard to find compassion when we have so many planets in retrograde (right now it's Mercury, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto if you're counting). To top things off, Mars is in its pre-retrograde shadow in the sign of Gemini which is known for seeing all sides (to a fault) of an issue but having very little sticktoitness or kindness.

It might feel easier (in the moment) to stick your head in the sand and lie about what isn't working in your life. Gemini is one of the proverbial liar signs, for sure - one of the twins always tells the truth and one of them always lies, good luck figuring out which one is which. The biggest kindness that you can show yourself right now is to not turn away. To actively look - with a clear lens - at what is coming up in your life during these tense transits.

What isn't working? Our Sun in Virgo is a fixer so the energy is there to make things right but you need honesty and a healthy dose of discernment to see the solutions. Plus, Mercury in Libra needs everybody to be involved in the solution but through co-dependency, enmeshment, or the opposite radical independence (Aries is of course the opposite sign to Libra), a lot of people can't see what's theirs and what is other right now.

Everything will be murky at least through the rest of the weekend. This Pisces moon may want to lie about how good it all is and hope that it all goes away. Gemini Mars is on board with the misinformation train but our Virgo sun is going to sense the ruse. This is likely to show up domestically during this time.

Sometimes the lies families tell are the worst lies of all. The skeletons in the closets are talking this weekend - listen to them. Make the changes that need changing. Don't repeat that same old same old mistake that you've made 1,000x before. Don't wade into that murky water if you can't/don't want to swim.

Cut somebody a break this week. I really hope that somebody is you.
