Pour bien finir l'année, voici une petite fantaisie inspirée par l'AU Lyon de @sibmakesart. One Piece dans la capitale de la gastronomie française, Sanji alsacien, Zoro breton ❤️

C'est parti pour une petite soirée lyonnaise avec nos pirates préférés !

Un soir à Lyon...

Au cœur de la nuit, dans la ruelle, une porte s’ouvrit, laissant de la lumière éclairer la rue sombre. Un jeune homme en franchit le seuil en s’allumant une cigarette, un sac en plastique à la main.

- Hé, l’aubergine, tu sors cette nuit ? Lança une voix autoritaire depuis l’intérieur.

Le jeune homme se retourna en soufflant sa fumée.

- En quoi ça t’intéresse vieux shnock ? Fit-il d’un ton ennuyé.

- Encore ce breton ?

- C’est pas tes oignons.

- Ah, claqua la voix, fais gaffe à toi !

- C’est ça, bonne soirée, àbgenutzdi.

-HÉ !

Le jeune homme referma la porte sans attendre de savoir ce que l’autre voulait répondre. Il regarda autour de lui, visiblement à la recherche de quelque chose, mais la ruelle était déserte. Un soupir bruyant quitta ses lèvres et il grommela quelque chose qui ressemblait à « encore en retard dawer säckel de breton ». Il donna un coup de pied à une cannette qui traînait tristement sur l’asphalte. Une sonnerie retentit de sa poche et il en sortit son téléphone.

- Allo ?

- Allo, Sanji ? Fit une voie féminine.

- Nami ! T’as pas vu Zoro ?

- Beeeeh si, justement, c’est pour ça que je t’appelle.

- Il est avec vous ? Demanda-t-il en entendant Usopp et Luffy se disputer derrière elle.

- Non il est pas… TAISEZ-VOUS ! Putain, j’essaie de parler au téléphone ! Je te disais, non il n’est pas avec nous. Il m'a dit qu’il devait passer te prendre à la fin du service mais il a fait tomber son portable dans le Rhône cet après-midi. Je sais que t’avais enregistré les coordonnées du bouchon dedans…

Sanji leva les yeux au ciel.

- Donc il est perdu ?

- Tu le connais, il n’est pas capable de distinguer sa gauche de sa droite. Bref, je voulais juste te prévenir, pas que tu l’attende et… VOUS ALLEZ VOUS CALMER ! LES VOISINS VONT ENCORE APPELER LES FLICS SI VOUS CONTINUEZ ! Pardon Sanji, je te laisse.

La communication se coupa.

-GOPFERDAMMI ! Cria Sanji en donnant un coup de poing dans le vide. Il tira rageusement sur sa cigarette. C’était GRAND Lyon, qui sait où ce connard de primate avait bien pu aller ?!

Sanji se mit en route, la nuit promettait d’être longue.

C’est au petit matin que l’alsacien retrouva enfin le breton. Après avoir parcouru la ville de long en large et en travers. Après avoir espéré que non, non, non ce bon à rien ne s’était quand même pas aventuré dans les sous-sols de Lyon… Il avançait enfin vers lui.

Zoro était accoudé à la rambarde de Fourvière en train de contempler les rayons du soleil qui commençaient timidement à pointer le bout de leurs nez sur la ville.

Après de longues heures de recherches, Sanji sentait une certaine fatigue gagner ses jambes. Il s’avança sans bruit derrière son petit ami.

- Hé, nixnutz !

L’homme aux cheveux vert ne sursauta même pas. Il tourna la tête vers Sanji. Malgré ses yeux cernés, un sourire éclaira son visage.

- Te voilà enfin cuistot !

Sanji roula des yeux. L’autre lui sortait ça comme si cette fichue basilique avait été leur point de rendez-vous depuis le début. Il appuya son dos contre la rambarde en frôlant le coude de Zoro.

- Tu m’as encore fais courir, fit-il en s’allumant une cigarette et en soufflant sa fumée dans l’air cristallin du petit matin.

- Genaoueg ! Je savais que t’arriverais à me retrouver.

Sanji lui tendit le sac qu’il avait transporté avec lui la moitié de la nuit. Zoro l’ouvrit pour y trouver une bouteille de chouchen et des bretzels enveloppés dans un papier kraft. Il prit la bouteille et sortit de sa poche un couteau suisse pour la déboucher.

- Pas de verre. Constata-t-il.

- Non, pas de verre. J’ai pas envie qu’on en casse d’autres. Le vieux va encore criser si les stocks continuent de diminuer.

Zoro porta la bouteille à sa bouche pour boire au goulot. La saveur lui rappelait sa région. Il passa ensuite le chouchen à Sanji qui bu à son tour.

- La prochaine fois j’amène du schnaps.

- C’est quoi ça ?

- C’est plus fort, ça devrait te plaire. Même si je préfère un bon pinot gris vieille vignes…

- Qu’est-ce que tu marmonne ?

Le blond lui sourit et, sans un mot, s’avança vers lui pour l’enlacer en collant son corps au sien. Ils s’embrassèrent puis s’appuyèrent de nouveau à la rambarde, coude à coude en se passant le chouchen et les bretzels. Ils restèrent là à regarder le lever de soleil sur Lyon en savourant ce petit déjeuner alcoolisé improvisé.

The Buggy Dance fic is sooooooo gooooood!! I know that we all came here for the you-know-who (and let me say that the Acrobat&Captain's relationship are just chef's kiss) but omg the way you describe the crew is amazing?? Them having regular dance nights, being friendly and having fun together, practicing different dance styles, captain dancing with all of them on the regular basis?? I want to cry how well written it is an how much I wish we saw that in-canon. That's the way i love to imagine the Buggy Pirates and I am in love how you describe them.

P.S. May I recommend you the soundtrack for Cirque Du Soleil's 'Curios' show? I find that it fits pretty well with the general mood of the crew :)

Aww, thank you so much! I really try to get into the why behind the stories (specifically one shots) for it to make sense properly in my head. I always like to do a deep dive on how it all functions, specifically if any background or OCs are needed for the plot to plot.

I feel like the Buggy-Pirates need that type of absolute trust, rapport and comradery for it to properly function in my mind. As a former acrobat, there's nothing worse than a dry-dynamic with nothing to build upon.

I just had a look at the soundtrack titles, and I'm already in love. Thank you for suggesting it!! Steampunk telegram, chef's kiss 🤌.

As much as I am so excited to write the trio, the epiphany that came to me for Zoro (with some prompting from a new friend who would like to remain anonymous [AND CHEF-HUSBAND for some reason!]), his one-shot will be up next: hopefully later today.

I'm so glad you enjoy reading my writing. I will definitely add more Buggy to my repertoire. After the 15-part series, I just needed to mourn a little bit and work on something different. Now I'm back on track and loving it!

#30 jours pour écrire / Avis de tempête

Ce jour, je partais d'un bond par dessus la montagne dans ma féline noire ramassée sur son arrière train refaire mon stock de livres. Mon plus jeune fils, cette fois a bien voulu m'accompagner. Ravie j'étais et nous avons chantonné dans la voiture, sous un ciel clair, dégagé, bleu profond.

Arrivés au "palais de la littérature" nous avons rempli le coffre, tranquilles, joyeux et boucanés lentement par le soleil comme deux pirates sur le pont de leur barque tout occupés à l'inventaire de leur trésor. Et j'ai entendu le premier coup de semonce du ciel; je ne m'étais même pas aperçue que le fond de l'air était maintenant poisseux et lourd, que de grands nuages ventrus gris noirs coiffaient les pics des falaises de calcaire.

Nous avons abrégé le réapprovisionnement et mon fils et moi avons aussitôt repris la route du retour. Celle-la même qui serpente ses lacets à flanc de pentes qui lâchent en grondant et fumant de poussière des blocs de pierre jusque dans les vignes.

A l'esplanade de terre juste après le col, j'ai voulu m'arrêter, tant la terre, le ciel, étaient époustouflants de beauté. Ma manie de vouloir tout photographier. Mon fils en rit, son père s'est résigné, moi je veux enturbanner ma tête de chaque instant, de chaque image, de chaque mot, de chaque mélodie de la splendeur.

Puis, j'ai vu mon fils. Tandis que je mitraillais, il était monté jusqu'à l'énorme rocher qui surplombe toute la vallée. Il se penchait au dessus du précipice et scrutait le vide en écoutant les pompiers, les ambulances, les véhicules de l'urgence qui envoyaient des messages stridents à travers toute la plaine. Les éclairs, le tonnerre, étaient eux aussi maintenant de la partie et rejoignaient la fanfare méli-mélo dramatique. J'ai été saisie par la concordance de l'instant.

En vie, en vis à vis, avis de tempête... J'ai posé mon appareil et j'ai regardé mon fils, dans son élément, sans rien dire, presque exaltée, secouée par la proximité des grands arcs électriques. Je le vois, je le vis et je le voyais; trois dimensions de lui, bientôt, déjà l'adolescence, une grande bourrasque de plus. Elle viendra sans que je donne mon avis...

La pluie, soudain, de plus en plus soutenue. Il est revenu de lui-même vers la voiture, en rigolant comme un beignet, trempé comme un baba au rhum.

Arrivés devant la porte du garage, la grêle. Drue. Nous avons tenu le pare brise de l'intérieur à quatre mains pour ne pas que le ciel nous tombe sur la tête, en riant des tours de vis de la tempête.

"The jokes may be predictable, and we can spot all the licensed music from assorted pirate media like Hook, Pirates of the Caribbean, Assassin's Creed: Black Flag, and even Lazytown and Spongebob, but again--it's all done with sincerity. Most of the stunts, singing, and choreography may not be anymore than serviceable and competent, but at least Cirque du Soleil-type of stunts were nice."

"I love how the mermaid spent most of her time in the air than in the water, though. But her frequently trying to escape the pirate ship in the background--even going as far as doing Rock-Paper-Scissors to trick the pirates into letting her go--was genuinely a treat."

"Food was pretty good. Nothing too special, but the presentation was nice. Never thought of having horseradish with mashed potatoes, though."

"Quite honestly, the biggest highlight of the entire show was that entire line of high school girls cheering for our group pirate the whole show, and when he died in-story, the girls were mad. But hey, at least they all gathered to have photos and autographs with the performer at the end!"

"So all-in-all: Cute. Cheesy and silly at parts, but all done with sincerity for entertainment. If any friends we make, especially children, want to see the show, we can definitely say 'go ahead'."

the circus was…not popular in the 2000’s?

okay i have to pull out my book of receipts here because let me tell you i think about this so often because in the moment i wasn’t registering how much circus/circus-adjacent imagery i was being exposed to and it was only when i looked back and realized that my 14 year old ass wrote a legitimate attempt at fiction on the doll palace dot com about a girl who gets swept away by a hot demon with side bangs to join, of all things, a circus, did the gates burst open to the flood of 2000’s circus imagery that had been forgotten. so like i’m gonna DUMP like you wouldn’t believe so get ready for a long post.

now first, this is how i define circus-adjacency: magicians, magic, burlesque, anything showy and flashy with a typically large vivacious cast, big teased hair and those small little doll lips with white powdered faces and big blush, grainy filters and red drapes, vegas and casinos and poker for some reason, and you know what fuck it i’m adding pirates in here too.

so let me tell you, first and foremost, the actual CIRCUS was thriving, particularly when you look at cirque du soleil. when you look at their wikipedia page, the 80’s are marked as their start and struggle, the 90’s as their expansion, and 2000-2009 as RAPID GROWTH. you couldn’t watch tv without a cirque du soleil commercial, pop in a dvd without a cirque advertisement, couldn’t drive without seeing a cirque billboard, people were raving about them, they were essentially the new sexier blue man group. now a few things happen in the 2010’s that result in their decline in popularity, they have to close shows due to recession, accidents resulting in death, the tsunami closing their show at tokyo disney, etc. essentially all that plus the cultural attitude is shifting away from the circus, we’re done with that we don’t want it anymore, sorry cirque. but when i say that cirque is probably one of the most popular live shows you can see, i mean it.

now music and movie and television wise, WOW, a lot happening there, let’s take a look:

1) i want to express so hard that i watched lady marmalade at like 7:00 am and then my ass went to school like it was a moment and no wonder i was struggling with my sexuality it changed me deeply and 2) i’m leaving out britney and fob because i already used them as examples and i’m also leaving out gwen stefani because she and i have beef from this time period but rich girl and whatcha waiting for have these very glamorous dollified pirate and alice in wonderland visuals. now please for the love of god watch the intro to criss angel mindfreak:

not to mention, british boyband take that released an album called “the circus” and had a whole accompanying circus tour where they rode a giant puppet elephant through the crowd and they performed in a giant red tent and lady gaga opened for them???? which sounds wild enough but then you see something like this and your whole brain collapses:

now if you think that’s where it stops you’re so damn wrong, because i read approximately 8 or 9 of these damn books:

which revolves around a boy who joins a circus to become a vampire’s apprentice and all sorts of gnarly shit happens to them and everyone is some sort of creature, and that turns into the feature film the vampire’s assistant which inexplicably stars john c reilly, josh hutcherson, salma hayek, willem dafoe, orlando jones, ken watanabe and more.

anyways we have pirates of the caribbean which was huge, but we also have lots of vegas representation for some reason: poker face, 21, ocean’s movies, street magicians, cirque, huge rise in popularity of professional gambling etc. i went to vegas with my friend and her parents in 2008 as a 15 year old and the highlights of our trip were going to circus circus, a penn and teller show, and picking up xxx show girl cards off the ground.

you’ll notice that the primary musicians that are latching onto the circus aesthetic are emo (and emo-adjacent) and mega popular starlets, and with the rise of internet fame culture and paparazzi swarms and the constant constant barrage of an audience that puts you at the top only to pray on your failure so they can watch it live on television, like i think it makes sense for them to adopt this metaphor, as britney so aptly put it “all eyes on me in the center of the ring just like a circus,” to see millions of faces peering at you, throwing popcorn, telling you to get on the trapeze just so they can watch you fall. these are also WIDELY popular mainstream artists with very queer and femme leaning audiences and are consistently not taken seriously while being extremely exploited.

similarly to film at the time too, where you see a lot of romances, a lot of musical theater, a couple horror movies, etc. the magician thing i think is fully an exercise in masculinity but i think that’s a different story.

and i think it’s interesting with lots of 2000’s trends returning that we can already see what’s popping up again, vampires are back (hello iwtv and wwdits), pirates are back (hello ofmd), and even the circus is slowly making it’s way in (the greatest showman which i don’t want to even think about or really include because that was already 5 years ago, but hello guillermo del toro my beloved bringing out nightmare alley, and honestly even a small shout out to the quarry for having scary circus elements).

and like i don’t have a full whole explanation as of yet for why the circus became such a cultural staple, but it’s for certain that it very much was. thank you for coming to my 2000’s circus themed ted talk i’m sorry i did this to you.

Jeudi 🗣️: Moment de partage avec 2 jeunes mamans touchées par un cancer TN, via l'association 'Jeune et Rose' du 87 🩷. Échanges de trucs et astuces pour mieux vivre avec les ttmts, avec la maladie 👍.

Vendredi, soirée pub à l'Âne Rit : notre grange a repris du service 🍻🥖🧀 bercée par des violons irlandais 🎶 ! Petit événement intergénérationnel comme on les aime, porté par une joyeuse troupe de bénévoles 🙏 !

Ce wkd, stage d'impro 🎭 pour notre troupe avec un ami-formateur d'Avignon : Victor, diffuseur officiel d'énergie +++. "Vous m'en mettez trois kilos s'vous plaît !" ⚖️ 😁

Reste à profiter en famille de ce lundi férié 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦. Enfin les courbatures commencent à passer…bon c’est pas encore ça mais c’est sûr le bon chemin 😄

Ce matin, nous avons décidé d’aller voir l’aquarium des deux océans. Il est vraiment beau. Autant il y a des tout petit bassin avec des anémones, autant il y en a des gigantesque avec des raies, des tortues ou encore des requins 🦈. J’ai même vu mes copines les méduses, elles sont très très belles, mieux dans un aquarium que dans la mer 😂 Il y avait pas mal de monde, surtout pas mal d’école qui venaient faire la visite.

Nous prenons ensuite la route pour Hout Bay ( où on est passé hier avec le bus). On y avait vu un chouette restaurant en passant alors ça y est, on y est. Le cadre est hyper sympa, tout est en bois, on se croirait presque dans un bateau (de pirate, me dit Dan)🛶! On commande tout les deux du poisson. Je voulais un filet mais ils en avaient plus, alors je ne retrouve avec un poisson entier. Mais il était super bon, en plus accompagné d’une sauce au citron, un régal 😊!

Repas terminé, on se rend au parc “World of birds” qui se situe pas loin. On s’attendait à un tout petit parc, en plus l’entrée a couté trois fois rien, mais en fait on est resté bien 3h ! Il y avait des oiseaux traditionnels tel que des paons, des perruches, des hérons, des hiboux ou encore des flamants roses, mais également des espèces plus sud africaines tel que des cacaos à bec jaune, des ibis sacrés ou encore des jaribus d’Afrique. A notre grande surprise, il y avait aussi plein d’autre animaux. Des tortues, des porc-épics, des cochons d’Inde, des alpagas, des chèvres et une multitude d’espèces de singes 🐒! Et le clou du spectacle : the monkey jungle ! Une fois le matin et une fois l’après-midi, pour une durée d’une heure trente, ils ouvrent un très grand enclos à singe au public. Et par petit groupe, nous pouvons entrer durant une quinzaine de minutes pour être au plus près des singes. Ils sont tellement chou ! Ils grimpent sur toi, jouent avec tes cheveux, essaient de savoir ce que tu as dans les poches…ils sont super légers et ils ont les mains toutes douces ! On aimerait presque ( on veut me dit Dan) en adopter un 😍! On ressort du parc il est presque 17h, c’est l’heure de la fermeture 😂. On prend la voiture et direction l’hôtel. On reprend la bouteille de rosé d’hier et on retente notre chance pour voir le couché de soleil. Il y a quelques nuages à l’horizon mais on y croit. Malheureusement le coucher de soleil a lieu pile poile derrière la seule tour devant l’hôtel…🙄 Tant pis on aura quand même pris l’apéro avec une belle vue ;) On a pas trop faim alors on a juste été s’acheter des cuisses de poulets avec un morceau de pain (correction de Dan: j’avais pris un sandwich et quand je l’ai vu revenir avec deux cuisses de poulet qui avaient l’air meilleures. J’ai fait mes yeux doux pour en avoir une (j’ai réussi comme d’habitude) et donc ON a mangé une cuisse de poulet chacun) 😂😂.

Les Flammes de L’Amitié

Alors que le soleil se couchait à l'horizon, Marco et Ace entendaient les histoires du vieux marin du village, qui parlait de légendaires trésors cachés dans les profondeurs de l'île. Intrigués par ces récits, les deux pirates décidèrent de partir à la recherche de ces richesses enfouies.

Accompagnés de leurs fidèles nakamas, Marco et Ace parcoururent les forêts denses et les falaises escarpées. Leurs pouvoirs respectifs, celui du fruit du Phénix et du fruit du Mera Mera, les aidaient à surmonter les obstacles qui se dressaient sur leur chemin.

Au fil de leur quête, ils affrontèrent des créatures marines redoutables et résolurent d'énigmatiques énigmes laissées par d'anciens explorateurs. Mais ces défis ne faisaient que renforcer leur amitié et leur confiance mutuelle.

Enfin, après de longues recherches, ils découvrirent une ancienne grotte cachée derrière une cascade majestueuse. A l'intérieur, ils trouvèrent un trésor inestimable, des artefacts de l'ancien royaume disparu depuis des siècles.

Cependant, leur joie fut de courte durée, car une bande de pirates rivaux avait suivi leurs traces et les attaqua. Marco et Ace firent front commun, repoussant les assaillants avec ferveur. Leur détermination et leur puissance firent résonner leurs noms dans tout l'archipel.

Finalement, les pirates rivaux furent vaincus et repoussés. Marco et Ace décidèrent de ne pas garder le trésor pour eux, sachant que l'île de Banaro avait besoin d'aide pour se reconstruire après les attaques maritimes récentes. Ils décidèrent de partager le trésor avec les villageois, contribuant ainsi à la prospérité de l'île.

Leur geste altruiste fut hautement apprécié par les habitants, et Marco et Ace devinrent des héros légendaires sur l'île de Banaro. Leurs noms furent chantés dans les récits des générations futures, et leur amitié indéfectible resta dans les mémoires de tous.

I dreamt that when Stede tried to get back to Ed and his crew, he was sucked into the present day.

Ed thought Stede had abandoned him but he was stuck in the present, trying desperately to get back.

There was this girl on the run from the FBI and CIA (who were the cops from Law and Order SVU) because she had dimension and time altering powers that she couldn't fully control, so her and her mom were fleeing.

The girl kept leading them around the country because she was drawn to a time anomaly, but she didn't know what it was.

She took them to a festival that had a sexy, gay, cirque du Soleil type striptease performance because she felt like she was close to the anomaly. She walked into a tent that wasn't in use yet, and who was sitting there, being dramatically backlit?

Stede Bonnet. The time anomaly trying desperately to get back to his family, the crew of the Revenge.

He was also drawn to her, and he didn't know why, but he knew if he kept searching he would get back to his crew.

She shot him backwards in time and he landed basically on the deck of the Revenge. Blackbeard pretended he wasn't upset with Stede but had brought a new pirate on board to make Stede jealous and wouldn't believe him that he was trapped in another time.

He would just flirt in front of Stede and check to see if he was watching. Stede and Izzy bonded by sulking together.

Le yoga est un jeu zen pour les enfants dés le plus jeune âge auquel ils peuvent s’adonner pour s’amuser, se dépenser et améliorer leurs capacités mentales et physiques. Cette pratique compte de nombreux bienfaits physiques et psychologiques pour les enfants. Le yoga a des effets positifs sur leur concentration, leur sommeil ainsi que leur souplesse. Il leur permet d’avoir un meilleur comportement au quotidien et diminue l'anxiété. Il améliore tout ce qui est coordination, équilibre, et fait prendre conscience de leur corps et de l'espace. L'enfant va apprendre à respirer et coordonner certain mouvement et tout ceci dans le jeu. Les séances doivent être courtes à mon avis 20 minutes suffisent du moment que l'enfant s'amuse.
